   And it came to pass that Enoch continued his speech, saying: Behold, our father Adam taught these things, and many have believed and become the sons of God, and many have believed not, and have perished in their sins, and are looking forth with fear, in torment, for the fiery indignation of the wrath of God to be poured out upon them.

   And from that time forth Enoch began to prophesy, saying unto the people, that: As I was journeying, and stood upon the place Mahujah, and cried unto the Lord, there came a voice out of heaven, saying—Turn ye, and get ye upon the mount Simeon.

   וָאֵפֶןva/E/fenand I turnedוָאַעַלva/A/aland went upאֶל־הָהָרel-ha/HARon the mountוּבְעׇמְדִיu/ve/om/DIand as I stoodעַל־הָהָרal-ha/HARupon the mountוָאֵרֶאva/E/reI beheldאֶת־הַשָּׁמַיִםet-hash/sha/MA/yimthe heavensנִפְתָּחִיםnif/ta/CHIMopenוָאֶלְבַּשׁva/el/BASHand I was clothed uponכָבוֹד׃kha/VODwith glory

   And it came to pass that I turned and went up on the mount; and as I stood upon the mount, I beheld the heavens open, and I was clothed upon with glory;

   And I saw the Lord; and he stood before my face, and he talked with me, even as a man talketh one with another, face to face; and he said unto me: Look, and I will show unto thee the world for the space of many generations.

   וָאַבֵּטva/ab/BETand I lookedאֶל־עֵמֶקel-E/mekupon the valleyשׁוּםShumof Shumוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdעַםama peopleרַבravgreatיֹשֵׁבyo/SHEVdwelt inאֹהָלִיםo/ha/LIMtentsעַםamthe peopleשׁוּם׃Shumof Shum

   And it came to pass that I beheld in the valley of Shum, and lo, a great people which dwelt in tents, which were the people of Shum.

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordאֵלַיe/LAYunto meעוֹדodagainהַבֵּטhab/BETlookוָאַבֵּטva/ab/BETand I lookedצָפוֹנָהtsa/FO/natowards the northוָאֵרֶאva/E/reand I beheldעַםamthe peopleכְּנַעַןke/NA/anof Canaanיֹשְׁבֵיyosh/VEdwelling inאֹהָלִים׃o/ha/LIMtents

   And again the Lord said unto me: Look; and I looked towards the north, and I beheld the people of Canaan, which dwelt in tents.

   And the Lord said unto me: Prophesy; and I prophesied, saying: Behold the people of Canaan, which are numerous, shall go forth in battle array against the people of Shum, and shall slay them that they shall utterly be destroyed; and the people of Canaan shall divide themselves in the land, and the land shall be barren and unfruitful, and none other people shall dwell there but the people of Canaan;

   כִּיkiforיְקַלֵּלye/kal/LELshall curseיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordאֶת־הָאָרֶץet-ha/A/retsthe landבְּחֹםbe/CHOMwith heatרַבravmuchוּשְׁמָמָתָהּu/she/ma/ma/TAand the barrenness thereofתֵּצֵאte/TSEshall go forthלְעוֹלָםle/o/LAMforeverוַיְהִיvay/HIand there wasקַדְרוּתkad/RUTa blacknessעַל־בְּנֵיal-be/NEupon the childrenכְנַעַןkhe/NA/anof Canaanוַיִּהְיוּvay/yih/YUand they wereלְבוּזle/VUZdespisedבְּכׇל־הָעַמִּים׃be/KHOL-ha/am/MIMamong all people

   For behold, the Lord shall curse the land with much heat, and the barrenness thereof shall go forth forever; and there was a blackness came upon all the children of Canaan, that they were despised among all people.

   And it came to pass that the Lord said unto me: Look; and I looked, and I beheld the land of Sharon, and the land of Enoch, and the land of Omner, and the land of Heni, and the land of Shem, and the land of Haner, and the land of Hanannihah, and all the inhabitants thereof;

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordאֵלַיe/LAYunto meלֵךְlekhgoאֶל־הָעָםel-ha/AMto the peopleהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisוְאָמַרְתָּve/a/mar/TAand sayאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMunto themשׁוּבוּSHU/vurepentפֶּן־אֵצֵאpen-e/TSElest I come outוְהִכֵּיתִיve/hik/ke/TIand smiteאֹתָםo/TAMthemבַּקְּלָלָהbak/ke/la/LAwith a curseוָמֵתוּ׃va/ME/tuand they die

    And the Lord said unto me: Go to this people, and say unto them—Repent, lest I come out and smite them with a curse, and they die.

    וַיִּתֶּן־לִיvay/YIT/ten-liand he gave meמִצְוָהmits/VAa commandmentלְהַטְבִּילle/hat/BILthat I should baptizeבְּשֵׁםbe/SHEMin the nameהָאָבha/AVof the Fatherוּבְשֵׁםu/ve/SHEMandהַבֵּןhab/BENof the Sonהַמָּלֵאham/ma/LEwho is fullחֶסֶדCHE/sedof graceוֶאֱמֶתve/e/METand truthוּבְשֵׁםu/ve/SHEMandרוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁRU/ach-Hak/KO/deshof the Holy Ghostהַמְּעִידָהham/me/i/DAwhich beareth recordבָאָבVa/AVof the Fatherוּבַבֵּן׃u/Vab/BENand the Son

    And he gave unto me a commandment that I should baptize in the name of the Father, and of the Son, which is full of grace and truth, and of the Holy Ghost, which beareth record of the Father and the Son.

    וַיֹּסֶףvay/YO/sefand continuedחֲנוֹךְCha/NOKHEnochלִקְרֹאlik/ROto callאֶל־כׇּל־הָעָםel-kol-ha/AMupon all the peopleלָשׁוּבla/SHUVto repentלְבַדle/VADsave it wereמֵעַםme/AMthe peopleכְּנָעַן׃ke/NA/anof Canaan

    And it came to pass that Enoch continued to call upon all the people, save it were the people of Canaan, to repent;

13. 13

    And so great was the faith of Enoch that he led the people of God, and their enemies came to battle against them; and he spake the word of the Lord, and the earth trembled, and the mountains fled, even according to his command; and the rivers of water were turned out of their course; and the roar of the lions was heard out of the wilderness; and all nations feared greatly, so powerful was the word of Enoch, and so great was the power of the language which God had given him.

    וְעָלְתָהve/a/le/TAand there also came upאֶרֶץE/retsa landמִמַּעֲמַקֵּיmim/ma/a/mak/KEout of the depthהַיָּםhay/YAMof the seaוַיִּגְדַּלvay/yig/DALand was greatפַּחַדPA/chadthe fearאֹיְבֵיoy/VEof the enemiesעַםamof the peopleאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMof Godוַיָּנוּסוּvay/ya/NU/suand they fledוַיַּעַמְדוּvay/ya/am/DUand stoodמֵרָחוֹקme/ra/CHOKafar offוַיֵּלְכוּvay/yel/KHUand wentעַל־הָאָרֶץal-ha/A/retsupon the landהָעֹלָהha/o/LAwhich came upמִמַּעֲמַקֵּיmim/ma/a/mak/KEout of the depthהַיָּם׃hay/YAMof the sea

    There also came up a land out of the depth of the sea, and so great was the fear of the enemies of the people of God, that they fled and stood afar off and went upon the land which came up out of the depth of the sea.

    וְגַםve/GAMand alsoהַנְּפִילִיםhan/ne/fi/LIMthe giantsבָּאָרֶץba/A/retsof the landעָמְדוּa/me/DUstoodמֵרָחוֹקme/ra/CHOKafar offוַתֵּצֵאvat/te/TSEand there went forthקְלָלָהke/la/LAa curseעַל־כׇּל־הָעָםal-kol-ha/AMupon all peopleהַנִּלְחָמִיםhan/nil/cha/MIMthat foughtבֵּאלֹהִים׃be/lo/HIMagainst God

    And the giants of the land, also, stood afar off; and there went forth a curse upon all people that fought against God;

16. 16

    וּמֵאָזu/me/AZand from that time forthהָיוּha/YUthere wereמִלְחָמוֹתmil/cha/MOTwarsוּשְׁפׇךְ־דָּםu/she/FOKH-damand bloodshedבֵּינֵיהֶםbe/ne/HEMamong themאַךְakhbutבָּאbacameיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordוַיִּשְׁכֹּןvay/yish/KONand dweltעִם־עַמּוֹim-am/MOwith his peopleוַיֵּשְׁבוּvay/yesh/VUand they dweltבְצֶדֶק׃ve/TSE/dekin righteousness

    And from that time forth there were wars and bloodshed among them; but the Lord came and dwelt with his people, and they dwelt in righteousness.

17. 17

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand wasפַחַדFA/chadthe fearיְהוָהAdonaiof the Lordעַל־כׇּל־הַגּוֹיִםal-kol-hag/go/YIMupon all nationsכֹּהkosoגָּדַלga/DALgreat wasכְּבוֹדke/VODthe gloryיְהוָהAdonaiof the Lordאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichהָיָהha/YAwasעַל־עַמּוֹal-am/MOupon his peopleוַיְבָרֶךְvay/VA/rekhand blessedיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordאֶת־הָאָרֶץet-ha/A/retsthe landוַיְבֹרְכוּvay/vor/KHUand they were blessedעַל־הֶהָרִיםal-he/ha/RIMupon the mountainsוְעַל־בָּמוֹתve/AL-ba/MOTand upon the high placesוַיִּפְרָחוּ׃vay/yif/RA/chuand did flourish

    The fear of the Lord was upon all nations, so great was the glory of the Lord, which was upon his people. And the Lord blessed the land, and they were blessed upon the mountains, and upon the high places, and did flourish.

18. 18

    וַיִּקְרָאvay/yik/RAand calledיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordלְעַמּוֹle/am/MOhis peopleצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONZionכִּיkibecauseהָיוּha/YUthey wereלֵבlevof heartאֶחָדe/CHADoneוָנֶפֶשׁva/NE/feshand of mindאַחַתa/CHAToneוַיֵּשְׁבוּvay/yesh/VUand dweltבְצֶדֶקve/TSE/dekin righteousnessוְלֹאve/LOand notהָיָהha/YAthere wasעָנִיa/NIpoorבֵּינֵיהֶם׃be/ne/HEMamong them

    And the Lord called his people ZION, because they were of one heart and one mind, and dwelt in righteousness; and there was no poor among them.

19. 19

    וַיֹּסֶףvay/YO/sefand continuedחֲנוֹךְCha/NOKHEnochלְהַטִּיףle/hat/TIFpreachingבְּצֶדֶקbe/TSE/dekin righteousnessלְעַםle/AMunto the peopleאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMof Godוַיְהִיvay/HIand it wasבְיָמָיוve/ya/MAYVin his daysבָּנָהba/NAthat he builtעִירira cityוַיִּקְרָאvay/yik/RAthat was calledלָהּlaunto herעִירIrthe Cityהַקֹּדֶשׁhak/KO/deshof Holinessצִיּוֹן׃Tsiy/YONeven Zion

    And Enoch continued his preaching in righteousness unto the people of God. And it came to pass in his days, that he built a city that was called the City of Holiness, even ZION.

    וַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand talkedחֲנוֹךְCha/NOKHEnochעִם־יְהוָהim-Adonaiwith the Lordוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand he saidאֶל־יְהוָהel-Adonaiunto the Lordאָכֵןa/KHENsurelyתִּשְׁכֹּןtish/KONshall dwellצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONZionלָבֶטַחla/VE/tachin safetyלְעוֹלָםle/o/LAMforeverוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordאֶל־חֲנוֹךְel-Cha/NOKHunto Enochבֵּרַכְתִּיbe/RAKH/tiI blessedצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONZionוְקִלַּלְתִּיve/kil/lal/TIbut I cursedשְׁאָרshe/ARthe residueהָעָם׃ha/AMof the people

    And it came to pass that Enoch talked with the Lord; and he said unto the Lord: Surely Zion shall dwell in safety forever. But the Lord said unto Enoch: Zion have I blessed, but the residue of the people have I cursed.

    וַיַּרְאvay/YARand showedיְהוָהAdonaithe LordחֲנוֹךְCha/NOKHunto Enochאֶת־כׇּל־יֹשְׁבֵיet-kol-yosh/VEall the inhabitantsהָאָרֶץha/A/retsof the earthוַיַּבֵּטvay/yab/BETand he beheldוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand loצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONZionמִקֵּץmik/KETSin processיָמִיםya/MIMof timeנִלְקְחָהnil/ke/CHAwas taken upהַשָּׁמָיְמָהhash/sha/MAY/mainto heavenוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordאֶל־חֲנוֹךְel-Cha/NOKHunto Enochהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdמִשְׁכָּנִיmish/ka/NImine abodeלָעַד׃la/ADforever

    And it came to pass that the Lord showed unto Enoch all the inhabitants of the earth; and he beheld, and lo, Zion, in process of time, was taken up into heaven. And the Lord said unto Enoch: Behold mine abode forever.

    And Enoch also beheld the residue of the people which were the sons of Adam; and they were a mixture of all the seed of Adam save it was the seed of Cain, for the seed of Cain were black, and had not place among them.

    וְאַחֲרֵיve/a/cha/REand after thatהִלָּקַחhil/la/KACHwas taken upצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONZionהַשָּׁמַיְמָהhash/sha/MAY/mainto heavenהִבִּיטhib/BITbeheldחֲנוֹךְCha/NOKHEnochוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdכׇּל־גּוֹיֵיkol-go/YEall the nationsהָאָרֶץha/A/retsof the earthלְפָנָיו׃le/fa/NAYVwere before him

    And after that Zion was taken up into heaven, Enoch beheld, and lo, all the nations of the earth were before him;

    וַיָּבֹאvay/ya/VOand there cameדוֹרdorgenerationאַחַרa/CHARuponדּוֹרdorgenerationוַחֲנוֹךְva/Cha/NOKHand Enochרָםramwas highוְנִשָּׂאve/nis/SAand lifted upבְּחֵיקbe/CHEKeven in the bosomהָאָבha/AVof the Fatherוּבֶן־הָאָדָםu/VEN-ha/a/DAMand of the Son of Manוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdכֹּחַKO/achthe powerהַשָּׂטָןhas/Sa/TANof Satan wasעַל־כׇּל־פְּנֵיal-kol-pe/NEupon all the faceהָאָרֶץ׃ha/A/retsof the earth

    And there came generation upon generation; and Enoch was high and lifted up, even in the bosom of the Father, and of the Son of Man; and behold, the power of Satan was upon all the face of the earth.

    And he saw angels descending out of heaven; and he heard a loud voice saying: Wo, wo be unto the inhabitants of the earth.

26. 26

    וַיַּרְאvay/YARand he beheldאֶת־הַשָּׂטָןet-Has/sa/TANSatanוְכֶבֶלve/KHE/veland a chainגָּדוֹלga/DOLgreatבְּיָדוֹbe/ya/DOin his handוַיְכַסvay/KHASand it veiledפְּנֵיpe/NEthe faceכׇל־הָאָרֶץkhol-ha/A/retsof the whole earthבְּחֹשֶׁךְbe/CHO/shekhwith darknessוַיִּשָּׂאvay/yis/SAand he lifted upעֵינָיוe/NAYVhis eyesוַיִּצְחַקvay/yits/CHAKand laughedוּמַלְאָכָיוu/mal/a/KHAYVand his angelsשָׂמֵחוּ׃sa/ME/churejoiced

    And he beheld Satan; and he had a great chain in his hand, and it veiled the whole face of the earth with darkness; and he looked up and laughed, and his angels rejoiced.

27. 27

    וַיַּרְאvay/YARand sawחֲנוֹךְCha/NOKHEnochמַלְאָכִיםmal/a/KHIMangelsיֹרְדִיםyor/DIMdescendingמִן־הַשָּׁמַיִםmin-hash/sha/MA/yimout of heavenמְעִידִיםme/i/DIMbearing testimonyבָּאָבba/AVof the Fatherוּבַבֵּןu/Vab/BENand the Sonוְרוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁve/RU/ach-hak/KO/deshand the Holy Ghostנָפְלָהna/fe/LAfellעַל־רַבִּיםal-rab/BIMon manyוַיִּלָּקְחוּvay/yil/la/ke/CHUand they were caught upבִּגְבוּרוֹתbig/vu/ROTby the powersהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimof heavenאֶל־צִיּוֹן׃el-Tsiy/YONinto Zion

    And Enoch beheld angels descending out of heaven, bearing testimony of the Father and Son; and the Holy Ghost fell on many, and they were caught up by the powers of heaven into Zion.

28. 28

    וַיַּבֵּטvay/yab/BETand lookedאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe Godהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimof heavenאֶל־שְׁאָרel-she/ARupon the residueהָעָםha/AMof the peopleוַיֵּבְךְּvay/YEVKand he weptוַיָּעַדvay/YA/adand testifiedחֲנוֹךְCha/NOKHEnochעַל־זֹאתal-zotof itלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingאֵיךְekhhow is it thatבּוֹכִיםbo/KHIMweepהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimthe heavensוְשֹׁפְכִיםve/shof/KHIMand shed forthדִּמְעוֹתֵיהֶםdim/o/te/HEMtheir tearsכַּמָּטָרkam/ma/TARas the rainעַל־הֶהָרִים׃al-he/ha/RIMupon the mountains

    And it came to pass that the God of heaven looked upon the residue of the people, and he wept; and Enoch bore record of it, saying: How is it that the heavens weep, and shed forth their tears as the rain upon the mountains?

29. 29

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidחֲנוֹךְCha/NOKHEnochאֶל־יְהוָהel-Adonaiunto the Lordאֵיךְekhhow is it thatתּוּכַלtu/KHALyou canלִבְכּוֹתliv/KOTweepוְאַתָּהve/at/TAseeing you areקָדוֹשׁka/DOSHholyמֵעוֹלָםme/o/LAMfrom all eternityוְעַד־עוֹלָם׃ve/AD-o/LAMto all eternity

    And Enoch said unto the Lord: How is it that thou canst weep, seeing thou art holy, and from all eternity to all eternity?

30. 30

    וְלוּve/LUand were it possible thatיָכֹלya/KHOLcouldאָדָםa/DAMmanלִמְנוֹתlim/NOTnumberחֶלְקֵיchel/KEthe particlesהָאָרֶץha/A/retsof the earthוְאֶלֶףve/E/lefyea a thousandאֲלָפִיםa/la/FIMthousandsאֲרָצוֹתa/ra/TSOTof earthsכָּאֵלֶּהka/EL/lelike thisלֹאlonotיִהְיֶהyih/YEit would beרֵאשִׁיתre/SHITa beginning toמִסְפַּרmis/PARthe numberמַעֲשֶׂיךָma/a/SE/khaof your creationsוְעוֹדve/ODand stillיְרִיעוֹתֶיךָye/ri/o/te/KHAyour curtainsנְטוּיוֹתne/tu/YOTare stretched outוְאַתָּהve/at/TAand yet you areשָׁםshamthereוְחֵיקְךָve/che/ke/KHAand your bosom isשָׁםshamthereוְגַםve/GAMand alsoצַדִּיקtsad/DIKjustאַתָּהat/TAyou areרַחוּםra/CHUMmercifulוְחַנּוּןve/chan/NUNand kindלָעַד׃la/ADforever

    And were it possible that man could number the particles of the earth, yea, millions of earths like this, it would not be a beginning to the number of thy creations; and thy curtains are stretched out still; and yet thou art there, and thy bosom is there; and also thou art just; thou art merciful and kind forever;

31. 31

    וַתִּקַּחvat/tik/KACHand you tookצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONZionלְחֵיקְךָle/che/ke/KHAto your own bosomמִכׇּל־מַעֲשֶׂיךָmik/KOL-ma/a/SE/khafrom all your creationsמֵעוֹלָםme/o/LAMfrom all eternityוְעַד־עוֹלָםve/AD-o/LAMto all eternityוְרַקve/RAKand naught butשָׁלוֹםsha/LOMpeaceוּמִשְׁפָּטu/mish/PATjusticeוֶאֱמֶתve/e/METand truth isמְכוֹןme/KHONthe habitationכִּסְאֶךָkis/E/khaof your throneוְחֶסֶדve/CHE/sedand mercyיֵלֵךְye/LEKHshall goלְפָנֶיךָle/fa/NE/khabefore your faceוְאֵיןve/ENand have noלוֹloto itקֵץketsendוְאֵיךְve/EKHhow is itתּוּכַלtu/KHALyou canלִבְכּוֹת׃liv/KOTweep

    And thou hast taken Zion to thine own bosom, from all thy creations, from all eternity to all eternity; and naught but peace, justice, and truth is the habitation of thy throne; and mercy shall go before thy face and have no end; how is it thou canst weep?

32. 32

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordאֶל־חֲנוֹךְel-Cha/NOKHunto Enochהַבֵּטhab/BETbeholdאֶל־אַחֶיךָel-a/CHE/khayour brethrenאֵלֶּהEL/letheseמַעֲשֵׂהma/a/SEare the workmanshipיָדַיya/DAYof mine own handsוְנָתַתִּיve/na/tat/TIand I gaveלָהֶםla/HEMthemדַּעְתָּםda/TAMtheir knowledgeבְּיוֹםbe/YOMin the dayבְּרָאתִיםbe/ra/TIMI created themוּבְגַן־עֵדֶןu/ve/GAN-E/denand in the Garden of Edenנָתַתִּיna/TAT/tigave Iלָאָדָםla/a/DAMunto manבְּחִירָתוֹ׃be/chi/ra/TOhis agency

    The Lord said unto Enoch: Behold these thy brethren; they are the workmanship of mine own hands, and I gave unto them their knowledge, in the day I created them; and in the Garden of Eden, gave I unto man his agency;

33. 33

    וְאֶל־אַחֶיךָve/EL-a/CHE/khaand unto your brethrenאָמַרְתִּיa/MAR/tihave I saidוְגַםve/GAMand alsoצִוִּיתִיtsiv/VI/tigave commandmentיֶאֱהֲבוּye/e/ha/VUthat they should loveאִישׁishoneאָחִיוa/CHIVanotherוְיִבְחֲרוּve/yiv/cha/RUand that they should chooseבִיvimeאֲבִיהֶםA/vi/HEMtheir Fatherאַךְakhbutאֵיןenthere is noאַהֲבָהa/ha/VAaffectionבָּםbamin themוְשֹׂנְאִיםve/son/IMand they hateדָּמָם׃da/MAMtheir own blood

    And unto thy brethren have I said, and also given commandment, that they should love one another, and that they should choose me, their Father; but behold, they are without affection, and they hate their own blood;

34. 34

    וְאֵשׁve/ESHand the fireזַעְמִיza/MIof mine indignationבָּעֲרָהba/a/RAis kindledבָםvamagainst themוּבַחֲמָתִיu/va/cha/ma/TIand in my hot displeasureאֲשַׁלַּחa/shal/LACHwill I send inמַבּוּלmab/BULthe floodsעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMupon themכִּיkiforבָעַרva/ARis kindledחֲרוֹןcha/RONthe heatאַפִּיap/PIof my angerבָּם׃bamagainst them

    And the fire of mine indignation is kindled against them; and in my hot displeasure will I send in the floods upon them, for my fierce anger is kindled against them.

35. 35

    הִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאָנֹכִיa/no/KHII amאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodאִישׁ־קֹדֶשׁIsh-KO/deshMan of Holinessשְׁמִיshe/MIis my nameאִישׁ־עֵצָהIsh-e/TSAMan of Counselשְׁמִיshe/MIis my nameוְאֵין־קֵץve/EN-ketsand Endlessוָעֶדva/EDand Eternalשְׁמִיshe/MIis my nameגַּם׃gamalso

    Behold, I am God; Man of Holiness is my name; Man of Counsel is my name; and Endless and Eternal is my name, also.

36. 36

    לָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeאוּכַלu/KHALI canלִפְרֹשׂlif/ROSstretch forthיָדַיya/DAYmine handsוּלְהַחֲזִיקu/le/ha/cha/ZIKand holdכׇּל־מַעֲשַׂיkol-ma/a/SAYall the creationsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichעָשִׂיתִיa/SI/tiI madeוְעֵינִיve/e/NIand mine eyeתּוּכַלtu/KHALcanלִנְקֹבlin/KOVpierceבָּםbaminto themוּבְכׇל־מַעֲשֵׂהu/ve/KHOL-ma/a/SEand among all the workmanshipיָדַיya/DAYof mine handsלֹאlonotהָיְתָהha/ye/TAthere has beenרִשְׁעָהrish/Awickednessגְּדוֹלָהge/do/LAgreatכָּזֹאתka/ZOTlike thisכְּבֵיןke/VENas amongאַחֶיךָ׃a/CHE/khayour brethren

    Wherefore, I can stretch forth mine hands and hold all the creations which I have made; and mine eye can pierce them also, and among all the workmanship of mine hands there has not been so great wickedness as among thy brethren.

37. 37

    אַךְakhbutהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdחַטֹּאתָםchat/to/TAMtheir sins shall beעַל־רָאשֵׁיal-ra/SHEupon the headsאֲבוֹתָםa/vo/TAMof their fathersוְהַשָּׂטָןVe/has/sa/TANSatanיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall beאֲבִיהֶםa/vi/HEMtheir fatherוְיָגוֹןve/ya/GONand miseryיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall beגּוֹרָלָםgo/ra/LAMtheir doomוְכׇל־הַשָּׁמַיִםve/KHOL-hash/sha/MA/yimand the whole heavensיִבְכּוּyiv/KUshall weepעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMover themכׇּל־מַעֲשֵׂהkol-ma/a/SEeven all the workmanshipיָדַיya/DAYof mine handsלָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeהֲלֹאha/LOshould notיִבְכּוּyiv/KUweepהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimthe heavensוְאֵלֶּהve/EL/leseeing theseיְעֻנּוּ׃ye/un/NUshall suffer

    But behold, their sins shall be upon the heads of their fathers; Satan shall be their father, and misery shall be their doom; and the whole heavens shall weep over them, even all the workmanship of mine hands; wherefore should not the heavens weep, seeing these shall suffer?

38. 38

    אַךְakhbutהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאֵלֶּהEL/letheseאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichעֵינֶיךָe/NE/khayour eyesרֹאוֹתro/OTare uponיֹאבְדוּyo/ve/DUshall perishבַּמַּבּוּלbam/mab/BULin the floodsוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdאֶסְגְּרֵםes/ge/REMI will shut them upבֵּיתbeta houseכֶּלֶאKE/leof confinementהֲכִינוֹתִיha/khi/NO/tihave I preparedלָהֶם׃la/HEMfor them

    But behold, these which thine eyes are upon shall perish in the floods; and behold, I will shut them up; a prison have I prepared for them.

39. 39

    וַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand thatבָּחַרְתִּיba/CHAR/tiwhich I choseהִתְחַנֵּןhit/chan/NENpleadedלְפָנַיle/fa/NAYbefore my faceלָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeהוּאhuheסֹבֵלso/VELsufferethבְּעַדbe/ADforחַטֹּאתָםchat/to/TAMtheir sinsכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERinasmuch asיָשׁוּבוּya/SHU/vuthey will repentבְּיוֹםbe/YOMin the day thatשׁוּבshuvshall returnבְּחִירִיbe/Chi/RImy Chosenאֵלַיe/LAYunto meוְעַדve/ADand untilהַיּוֹםhay/YOMthe dayהַהוּאha/HUthatיִהְיוּyih/YUthey shall beבְּעִנּוּי׃be/in/NUYin torment

    And that which I have chosen hath pled before my face. Wherefore, he suffereth for their sins; inasmuch as they will repent in the day that my Chosen shall return unto me, and until that day they shall be in torment;

40. 40

    לָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeבִּגְלַלbig/LALbecause ofזֹאתzotthisיִבְכּוּyiv/KUshall weepהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimthe heavensוְכׇל־מַעֲשֵׂהve/KHOL-ma/a/SEyea and all the workmanshipיָדָי׃ya/DAYof mine hands

    Wherefore, for this shall the heavens weep, yea, and all the workmanship of mine hands.

41. 41

    וַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand spakeיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordאֶל־חֲנוֹךְel-Cha/NOKHunto Enochוַיַּגֶּד־לוֹvay/YAG/ged-loand told himכׇּל־מַעֲשֵׂהkol-ma/a/SEall the doingsבְנֵיve/NEof the childrenהָאָדָםha/a/DAMof menוַיֵּדַעvay/YE/dawherefore knewחֲנוֹךְCha/NOKHEnochוַיַּבֵּטvay/yab/BETand lookedאֶל־רִשְׁעָתָםel-rish/a/TAMupon their wickednessוְאֶל־עׇנְיָםve/EL-on/YAMand their miseryוַיֵּבְךְּvay/YEVKand weptוַיִּפְרֹשׂvay/yif/ROSand stretched forthיָדָיוya/DAYVhis armsוְלִבּוֹve/lib/BOand his heartהִתְרַחֵבhit/ra/CHEVswelled wideכָּעוֹלָםka/o/LAMas eternityוּמֵעָיוu/me/AYVand his bowelsנִכְמָרוּnikh/MA/ruyearnedוְכׇל־הָעוֹלָםve/KHOL-ha/o/LAMand all eternityרָעַשׁ׃ra/ASHshook

    And it came to pass that the Lord spake unto Enoch, and told Enoch all the doings of the children of men; wherefore Enoch knew, and looked upon their wickedness, and their misery, and wept and stretched forth his arms, and his heart swelled wide as eternity; and his bowels yearned; and all eternity shook.

42. 42

    וַיַּרְאvay/YARand sawחֲנוֹךְCha/NOKHEnochגַּםgamalsoנֹחַNO/achNoahוּמִשְׁפַּחְתּוֹu/mish/pach/TOand his familyכִּיkithatזֶרַעZE/rathe posterityכׇּל־בְּנֵיkol-be/NEof all the sonsנֹחַNO/achof Noahיִוָּשַׁעyiv/va/SHAshould be savedתְּשׁוּעָהte/shu/Awith a salvationגַשְׁמִית׃gash/MITtemporal

    And Enoch also saw Noah, and his family; that the posterity of all the sons of Noah should be saved with a temporal salvation;

43. 43

    וַיַּרְאvay/YARwherefore sawחֲנוֹךְCha/NOKHEnochכִּיkithatבָנָהva/NAbuiltנֹחַNO/achNoahתֵּבָהte/VAan arkוַיָּאֶרvay/YA/erand smiledפָּנָיוpa/NAYVhis faceיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordאֵלֶיהָe/LE/haupon itוַיַּחֲזִיקֶהָvay/ya/cha/zi/ke/HAand held itבְיָדוֹve/ya/DOin his own handאַךְakhbutעַל־שְׁאָרal-she/ARupon the residueהָרְשָׁעִיםha/re/sha/IMof the wickedבָּאbacameהַמַּבּוּלham/mab/BULthe floodsוַיִּבְלָעֵם׃vay/yiv/la/EMand swallowed them up

    Wherefore Enoch saw that Noah built an ark; and that the Lord smiled upon it, and held it in his own hand; but upon the residue of the wicked the floods came and swallowed them up.

44. 44

    וַיַּרְאvay/YARand as sawחֲנוֹךְCha/NOKHEnochאֶת־זֹאתet-zotthisוַתִּמְרַרvat/tim/RARhe had bitternessנַפְשׁוֹnaf/SHOof soulוַיֵּבְךְּvay/YEVKand weptעַל־אֶחָיוal-e/CHAYVover his brethrenוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֶל־הַשָּׁמַיִםel-hash/sha/MA/yimunto the heavensלֹאloI will notאֹבֶהo/VEconsentלְהִנָּחֵםle/hin/na/CHEMto be comfortedאַךְakhbutאָמַרa/MARsaidיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordאֶל־חֲנוֹךְel-Cha/NOKHunto Enochהָרֵםha/REMlift upלִבְּךָlib/be/KHAyour heartוּשְׂמַחu/se/MACHand be gladוְהַבֵּט׃ve/hab/BETand look

    And as Enoch saw this, he had bitterness of soul, and wept over his brethren, and said unto the heavens: I will refuse to be comforted; but the Lord said unto Enoch: Lift up your heart, and be glad; and look.

45. 45

    וַיַּבֵּטvay/yab/BETand lookedחֲנוֹךְCha/NOKHEnochוּמִנֹּחַu/Min/NO/achand from Noahרָאָהra/Ahe beheldכׇּל־מִשְׁפְּחוֹתkol-mish/pe/CHOTall the familiesהָאָרֶץha/A/retsof the earthוַיִּצְעַקvay/yits/AKand he criedאֶל־יְהוָהel-Adonaiunto the Lordלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingמָתַיma/TAYwhenיָבֹאya/VOshall comeיוֹםyomthe dayיְהוָהAdonaiof the Lordמָתַיma/TAYwhenיִשָּׁפֵךְyish/sha/FEKHshall be shedדַּםdamthe bloodהַצַּדִּיקhats/Tsad/DIKof the Righteousלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatיִתְקַדְּשׁוּyit/kad/de/SHUmay be sanctifiedכׇל־הָאֲבֵלִיםkhol-ha/a/ve/LIMall they that mournוְיִחְיוּve/yich/YUand haveחַיֵּיchay/YElifeעוֹלָם׃o/LAMeternal

    And it came to pass that Enoch looked; and from Noah, he beheld all the families of the earth; and he cried unto the Lord, saying: When shall the day of the Lord come? When shall the blood of the Righteous be shed, that all they that mourn may be sanctified and have eternal life?

46. 46

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordיִהְיֶהyih/YEit shall beבְּאֶמְצַעbe/em/TSAin the meridianהָעִתִּיםha/it/TIMof timeבִּימֵיbi/MEin the daysרֶשַׁעRE/shaof wickednessוְנָקָם׃ve/na/KAMand vengeance

    And the Lord said: It shall be in the meridian of time, in the days of wickedness and vengeance.

47. 47

    וַיַּרְאvay/YARand sawחֲנוֹךְCha/NOKHEnochיוֹםyomthe dayבּוֹאboof the comingבֶּן־הָאָדָםben-Ha/a/DAMof the Son of Manבַּבָּשָׂרbab/ba/SAReven in the fleshוַתָּגֶלvat/TA/geland rejoicedנַפְשׁוֹnaf/SHOhis soulלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingנִשָּׂאnis/SAis lifted upהַצַּדִּיקhats/Tsad/DIKthe RighteousוְהַשֶּׂהVe/has/SEand the Lamb isטָבוּחַta/VU/achslainמִיְּסוֹדmiy/ye/SODfrom the foundationהָעוֹלָםha/o/LAMof the worldוּבֶאֱמוּנָהu/ve/e/mu/NAand through faithאֲנִיa/NII amבְּחֵיקbe/CHEKin the bosomהָאָבha/AVof the Fatherוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONZion isעִמִּי׃im/MIwith me

    And behold, Enoch saw the day of the coming of the Son of Man, even in the flesh; and his soul rejoiced, saying: The Righteous is lifted up, and the Lamb is slain from the foundation of the world; and through faith I am in the bosom of the Father, and behold, Zion is with me.

48. 48

    וַיַּבֵּטvay/yab/BETand lookedחֲנוֹךְCha/NOKHEnochאֶל־הָאָרֶץel-ha/A/retsupon the earthוַיִּשְׁמַעvay/yish/MAand he heardקוֹלkola voiceמִמֵּעֶיהָmim/me/e/HAfrom the bowels thereofלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingהוֹיhoywoהוֹיhoywoלִיliis meאֵםemthe motherהָאָדָםha/a/DAMof menכּוֹאֶבֶתko/E/vetam painedאֲנִיa/NIIיְגֵעָהye/ge/Aam wearyאֲנִיa/NIIמִפְּנֵיmip/pe/NEbecause ofרִשְׁעַתrish/ATthe wickednessבָּנָיba/NAYof my childrenמָתַיma/TAYwhenאָנוּחַa/NU/achshall I restוְאֶטָּהֵרve/et/ta/HERand be cleansedמִן־הַטֻּמְאָהmin-hat/tum/Afrom the filthinessהַיּוֹצֵאתhay/yo/TSETwhich is gone forthמִמֶּנִּיmim/MEN/niout of meמָתַיma/TAYwhenיְקַדְּשֵׁנִיye/kad/de/she/NIwill sanctify meבּוֹרְאִיBor/Imy Creatorלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatאָנוּחַa/NU/achI may restוְצֶדֶקve/TSE/dekand righteousnessיִשְׁכֹּןyish/KONmay abideעַל־פָּנַיal-pa/NAYupon my faceלָעֵת׃la/ETfor a season

    And it came to pass that Enoch looked upon the earth; and he heard a voice from the bowels thereof, saying: Wo, wo is me, the mother of men; I am pained, I am weary, because of the wickedness of my children. When shall I rest, and be cleansed from the filthiness which is gone forth out of me? When will my Creator sanctify me, that I may rest, and righteousness for a season abide upon my face?

49. 49

    And when Enoch heard the earth mourn, he wept, and cried unto the Lord, saying: O Lord, wilt thou not have compassion upon the earth? Wilt thou not bless the children of Noah?

50. 50

    וַיֹּסֶףvay/YO/sefand continuedחֲנוֹךְCha/NOKHEnochלִצְעֹקlits/OKto cryאֶל־יְהוָהel-Adonaiunto the Lordלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingמְבַקֵּשׁme/vak/KESHI askאֲנִיa/NIIמִמְּךָmim/me/KHAof youאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYO Lordבְּשֵׁםbe/SHEMin the nameיְחִידְךָYe/chi/de/KHAof your Only BegottenיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aeven JesusהַמָּשִׁיחַHam/ma/SHI/achChristלְרַחֵםle/ra/CHEMthat you will have mercyעַל־נֹחַal-NO/achupon Noahוְעַל־זַרְעוֹve/AL-zar/Oand his seedלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatלֹאlonotתְכֻסֶּהte/khus/SEmay be coveredהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthעוֹדodagainבַּמַּבּוּל׃bam/mab/BULby the floods

    And it came to pass that Enoch continued his cry unto the Lord, saying: I ask thee, O Lord, in the name of thine Only Begotten, even Jesus Christ, that thou wilt have mercy upon Noah and his seed, that the earth might never more be covered by the floods.

51. 51

    וְלֹאve/LOand notיָכֹלya/KHOLcouldיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordלִמְנֹעַlim/NO/awithholdוַיִּכְרֹתvay/yikh/ROTand he madeבְּרִיתbe/RITa covenantעִם־חֲנוֹךְim-Cha/NOKHwith Enochוַיִּשָּׁבַעvay/yish/sha/VAand swareלוֹlounto himבִּשְׁבוּעָהbish/vu/Awith an oathלַעֲצֹרla/a/TSORthat he would stayמַבּוּלmab/BULthe floodsוְכִיve/KHIthatיִקְרָאyik/RAhe would callאֶל־בְּנֵיel-be/NEupon the childrenנֹחַ׃NO/achof Noah

    And the Lord could not withhold; and he covenanted with Enoch, and sware unto him with an oath, that he would stay the floods; that he would call upon the children of Noah;

52. 52

    וַיִּשְׁלַחvay/yish/LACHand he sent forthגְּזֵרָהge/ze/RAa decreeאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichלֹאlonotתָשׁוּבta/SHUVshall returnכִּיkithatשְׁאֵרִיתshe/e/RITa remnantמִזַּרְעוֹmiz/zar/Oof his seedתִּמָּצֵאtim/ma/TSEshould be foundתָמִידta/MIDalwaysבְּכׇל־הַגּוֹיִםbe/KHOL-hag/go/YIMamong all nationsבְּעוֹדbe/ODwhileהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthעֹמֶדֶת׃o/ME/detshould stand

    And he sent forth an unalterable decree, that a remnant of his seed should always be found among all nations, while the earth should stand;

53. 53

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordבָּרוּךְba/RUKHblessed is heאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoseמִזַּרְעוֹmiz/zar/Oseedיָבֹאya/VOshall comeהַמָּשִׁיחַHam/ma/SHI/achMessiahכִּיkiforהוּאhuheאֹמֵרo/MERsaithאֲנִיa/NII amהַמָּשִׁיחַHam/ma/SHI/achMessiahמֶלֶךְME/lekhthe KingצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONof ZionצוּרTsurthe Rockהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/Sha/MA/yimof Heavenהָרָחָבha/ra/CHAVwhich is broadכָּעוֹלָםka/o/LAMas eternityכׇּל־הַבָּאkol-hab/BAwhoso comethבַשַּׁעַרvash/SHA/arin at the gateוְעֹלֶהve/o/LEand climbeth upבִיviby meלֹאlonotיִפֹּלyip/POLshall fallלְעוֹלָםle/o/LAMeverלָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeבְּרוּכִיםbe/ru/KHIMblessedאֲשֶׁרa/SHERare they of whomדִּבַּרְתִּיdib/BAR/tiI spokeעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMconcerning themכִּיkiforיֵצְאוּyets/Uthey shall come forthבְּשִׁירַתbe/shi/RATwith songsשִׂמְחַתsim/CHATof joyעוֹלָם׃o/LAMeverlasting

    And the Lord said: Blessed is he through whose seed Messiah shall come; for he saith—I am Messiah, the King of Zion, the Rock of Heaven, which is broad as eternity; whoso cometh in at the gate and climbeth up by me shall never fall; wherefore, blessed are they of whom I have spoken, for they shall come forth with songs of everlasting joy.

54. 54

    וַיִּצְעַקvay/yits/AKand criedחֲנוֹךְCha/NOKHEnochאֶל־יְהוָהel-Adonaiunto the Lordלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingכְּבֹאke/VOwhen shall comeבֶן־הָאָדָםven-Ha/a/DAMthe Son of Manבַּבָּשָׂרbab/ba/SARin the fleshהֲתָנוּחַha/ta/NU/achshall restהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthאֲבַקֶּשְׁךָa/vak/kesh/KHAI pray youהַרְאֵנִיhar/E/nishow meדְּבָרִיםde/va/RIMthingsאֵלֶּה׃EL/lethese

    And it came to pass that Enoch cried unto the Lord, saying: When the Son of Man cometh in the flesh, shall the earth rest? I pray thee, show me these things.

55. 55

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordאֶל־חֲנוֹךְel-Cha/NOKHunto Enochהַבֵּטhab/BETlookוַיַּבֵּטvay/yab/BETand he lookedוַיַּרְאvay/YARand beheldבֶּן־הָאָדָםben-Ha/a/DAMthe Son of Manנִשָּׂאnis/SAlifted upעַל־הַצְּלָבal-hats/tse/LAVon the crossכְּדֶרֶךְke/DE/rekhafter the mannerבְּנֵיbe/NEof the sonsאָדָם׃a/DAMof men

    And the Lord said unto Enoch: Look, and he looked and beheld the Son of Man lifted up on the cross, after the manner of men;

56. 56

    וַיִּשְׁמַעvay/yish/MAand he heardקוֹלkola voiceגָּדוֹלga/DOLloudוַיִּכָּסוּvay/yik/ka/SUand were veiledהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimthe heavensוַיִּתְאַבְּלוּvay/yit/ab/be/LUand mournedכׇּל־מַעֲשֵׂיkol-ma/a/SEall the creationsאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMof Godוַתֵּאָנַחvat/te/a/NACHand groanedהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthוַיִּבָּקְעוּvay/yib/ba/ke/Uand were rentהַסְּלָעִיםhas/se/la/IMthe rocksוְהַקְּדוֹשִׁיםve/hak/ke/do/SHIMand the saintsקָמוּKA/muaroseוְנֶעֶטְרוּve/ne/et/RUand were crownedלִימִיןli/MINat the right handבֶּן־הָאָדָםben-Ha/a/DAMof the Son of Manעַטְרוֹתat/ROTwith crownsכָּבוֹד׃ka/VODof glory

    And he heard a loud voice; and the heavens were veiled; and all the creations of God mourned; and the earth groaned; and the rocks were rent; and the saints arose, and were crowned at the right hand of the Son of Man, with crowns of glory;

57. 57

    וְכׇל־הָרוּחוֹתve/KHOL-ha/ru/CHOTand as many of the spiritsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERas wereבַּכֶּלֶאbak/KE/lein prisonיָצְאוּya/tse/Ucame forthוַיַּעַמְדוּvay/ya/am/DUand stoodלִימִיןli/MINon the right handאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMof Godוְהַשְּׁאָרve/hash/she/ARand the remainderנִשְׁמְרוּnish/me/RUwere reservedבְכַבְלֵיve/khav/LEin chainsחֹשֶׁךְCHO/shekhof darknessעַד־מִשְׁפַּטad-mish/PATuntil the judgmentהַיּוֹםhay/YOMof the dayהַגָּדוֹל׃hag/ga/DOLgreat

    And as many of the spirits as were in prison came forth, and stood on the right hand of God; and the remainder were reserved in chains of darkness until the judgment of the great day.

58. 58

    וַיֹּסֶףvay/YO/sefand continuedחֲנוֹךְCha/NOKHEnochלִבְכּוֹתliv/KOTto weepוַיִּצְעַקvay/yits/AKand criedאֶל־יְהוָהel-Adonaiunto the Lordלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingמָתַיma/TAYwhenתָּנוּחַta/NU/achshall restהָאָרֶץ׃ha/A/retsthe earth

    And again Enoch wept and cried unto the Lord, saying: When shall the earth rest?

59. 59

    וַיַּרְאvay/YARand beheldחֲנוֹךְCha/NOKHEnochבֶּן־הָאָדָםben-Ha/a/DAMthe Son of Manעֹלֶהo/LEascend upאֶל־הָאָבel-Ha/AVunto the Fatherוַיִּקְרָאvay/yik/RAand he calledאֶל־יְהוָהel-Adonaiunto the Lordלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingהֲלֹאha/LOwill you notתָשׁוּבta/SHUVcomeעוֹדodagainאֶל־הָאָרֶץel-ha/A/retsupon the earthיַעַןYA/anforasmuch asאַתָּהat/TAyou areאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodוַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iיְדַעְתִּיךָye/da/TI/khaknow youוְאַתָּהve/at/TAand you haveנִשְׁבַּעְתָּnish/BA/taswornלִיliunto meוְצִוִּיתָנִיve/tsiv/vi/TA/niand commanded meלִשְׁאֹלlish/OLthat I should askבְּשֵׁםbe/SHEMin the nameיְחִידְךָYe/chi/de/KHAof your Only Begottenעָשִׂיתָנִיa/si/ta/NIyou made meוְנָתַתָּve/na/tat/TAand givenלִיlimeמִשְׁפָּטmish/PATa rightלְכִסְאֲךָle/khis/a/KHAto your throneלֹאlonotמֵעַצְמִיme/ats/MIof myselfכִּי־אִםki-imbutבְּחַסְדֶּךָbe/chas/DE/khathrough your own graceלָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeאֲבַקֶּשְׁךָa/vak/kesh/KHAI ask youהֲלֹאha/LOif you will notתָשׁוּבta/SHUVcomeעוֹדodagainאֶל־הָאָרֶץ׃el-ha/A/retson the earth

    And Enoch beheld the Son of Man ascend up unto the Father; and he called unto the Lord, saying: Wilt thou not come again upon the earth? Forasmuch as thou art God, and I know thee, and thou hast sworn unto me, and commanded me that I should ask in the name of thine Only Begotten; thou hast made me, and given unto me a right to thy throne, and not of myself, but through thine own grace; wherefore, I ask thee if thou wilt not come again on the earth.

60. 60

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordאֶל־חֲנוֹךְel-Cha/NOKHunto Enochחַי־אָנִיchay-A/nias I liveכֵּןkeneven soאָבֹאa/VOwill I comeבְּאַחֲרִיתbe/a/cha/RITin the lastהַיָּמִיםhay/ya/MIMdaysבִּימֵיbi/MEin the daysרֶשַׁעRE/shaof wickednessוְנָקָםve/na/KAMand vengeanceלְמַלֵּאle/mal/LEto fulfilשְׁבוּעָהshe/vu/Athe oathאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichנִשְׁבַּעְתִּיnish/BA/tiI madeלְךָle/KHAunto youעַל־בְּנֵיal-be/NEconcerning the childrenנֹחַ׃NO/achof Noah

    And the Lord said unto Enoch: As I live, even so will I come in the last days, in the days of wickedness and vengeance, to fulfil the oath which I have made unto you concerning the children of Noah;

61. 61

    וְיָבֹאve/ya/VOand shall comeהַיּוֹםhay/YOMthe dayאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhenתָּנוּחַta/NU/achshall restהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthאַךְakhbutלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeהַיּוֹםhay/YOMthe dayהַהוּאha/HUthatיֶחְשְׁכוּyech/she/KHUshall be darkenedהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimthe heavensוּמָסָךְu/ma/SAKHand a veilחֹשֶׁךְCHO/shekhof darknessיְכַסֶּהye/khas/SEshall coverאֶת־הָאָרֶץet-ha/A/retsthe earthוְיִרְעֲשׁוּve/yir/a/SHUand shall shakeהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimthe heavensוְגַםve/GAMand alsoהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthוְצָרוֹתve/tsa/ROTand tribulationsגְּדוֹלוֹתge/do/LOTgreatיִהְיוּyih/YUshall beבִּבְנֵיbiv/NEamong the childrenהָאָדָםha/a/DAMof menאַךְakhbutאֶשְׁמֹרesh/MORI will preserveעַמִּי׃am/MImy people

    And the day shall come that the earth shall rest, but before that day the heavens shall be darkened, and a veil of darkness shall cover the earth; and the heavens shall shake, and also the earth; and great tribulations shall be among the children of men, but my people will I preserve;

62. 62

    וּצְדָקָהu/tse/da/KAand righteousnessאוֹרִידo/RIDwill I send downמִן־הַשָּׁמַיִםmin-hash/sha/MA/yimout of heavenוֶאֱמֶתve/e/METand truthאוֹצִיאo/TSIwill I send forthמִן־הָאָרֶץmin-ha/A/retsout of the earthלְהָעִידle/ha/IDto bear testimonyעַל־יְחִידִיal-Ye/chi/DIof mine Only Begottenתְּחִיָּתוֹte/chiy/ya/TOhis resurrectionמִן־הַמֵּתִיםmin-ham/me/TIMfrom the deadוְגַםve/GAMyea and alsoתְּחִיַּתte/chiy/YATthe resurrectionכׇּל־הָאָדָםkol-ha/a/DAMof all menוּצְדָקָהu/tse/da/KAand righteousnessוֶאֱמֶתve/e/METand truthאֲשַׁלְּחֵםa/shal/le/CHEMwill I cause themלִשְׁטֹףlish/TOFto sweepהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthכַּמַּבּוּלkam/mab/BULas with a floodלְאַסֵּףle/as/SEFto gather outבְּחִירַיbe/chi/RAYmine electמֵאַרְבַּעme/ar/BAfrom the fourכַּנְפוֹתkan/FOTquartersהָאָרֶץha/A/retsof the earthאֶל־מָקוֹםel-ma/KOMunto a placeאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאָכִיןa/KHINI shall prepareעִירIra CityקֹדֶשׁKO/deshof Holinessלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatעַמִּיam/MImy peopleיַחְגְּרוּyach/ge/RUmay gird upמׇתְנֵיהֶםmot/ne/HEMtheir loinsוְיִצְפּוּve/yits/PUand be looking forthלְעֵתle/ETfor the timeבֹּאִיBO/iof my comingכִּיkiforשָׁםshamthereיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall beמִשְׁכָּנִיmish/ka/NImy tabernacleוְיִקָּרֵאve/yik/ka/REand it shall be calledצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONZionיְרוּשָׁלַיִםYe/ru/sha/LA/yima Jerusalemחֲדָשָׁה׃Cha/da/SHANew

    And righteousness will I send down out of heaven; and truth will I send forth out of the earth, to bear testimony of mine Only Begotten; his resurrection from the dead; yea, and also the resurrection of all men; and righteousness and truth will I cause to sweep the earth as with a flood, to gather out mine elect from the four quarters of the earth, unto a place which I shall prepare, an Holy City, that my people may gird up their loins, and be looking forth for the time of my coming; for there shall be my tabernacle, and it shall be called Zion, a New Jerusalem.

63. 63

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordאֶל־חֲנוֹךְel-Cha/NOKHunto Enochאָזazthenתִּפְגְּשׁוּtif/ge/SHUshall meetאַתָּהat/TAyouוְכׇל־עִירְךָve/KHOL-i/re/KHAand all your cityאוֹתָםo/TAMthemשָׁםshamthereוּנְקַבְּלֵםu/ne/kab/be/LEMand we will receive themאֶל־חֵיקֵנוּel-che/ke/NUinto our bosomוְיִרְאוּve/yir/Uand they shall seeאֹתָנוּo/TA/nuusוְנִפֹּלve/nip/POLand we will fallעַל־צַוְּארֵיהֶםal-tsav/ve/re/HEMupon their necksוְיִפְּלוּve/yip/pe/LUand they shall fallעַל־צַוָּארֵינוּal-tsav/va/re/NUupon our necksוְנִשַּׁקve/nish/SHAKand we will kissאִישׁisheachאָחִיו׃a/CHIVother

    And the Lord said unto Enoch: Then shalt thou and all thy city meet them there, and we will receive them into our bosom, and they shall see us; and we will fall upon their necks, and they shall fall upon our necks, and we will kiss each other;

64. 64

    וְשָׁםve/SHAMand thereיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall beמִשְׁכָּנִיmish/ka/NImine abodeוְהוּאve/HUand it shall beצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONZionהַיּוֹצֵאתhay/yo/TSETwhich shall come forthמִכׇּל־מַעֲשַׂיmik/KOL-ma/a/SAYout of all the creationsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichעָשִׂיתִיa/SI/tiI madeוּלְאֶלֶףu/le/E/lefand for the space of a thousandשָׁנִיםsha/NIMyearsתָּנוּחַta/NU/achshall restהָאָרֶץ׃ha/A/retsthe earth

    And there shall be mine abode, and it shall be Zion, which shall come forth out of all the creations which I have made; and for the space of a thousand years the earth shall rest.

65. 65

    וַיַּרְאvay/YARand sawחֲנוֹךְCha/NOKHEnochיוֹםyomthe dayבּוֹאboof the comingבֶן־הָאָדָםven-Ha/a/DAMof the Son of Manבְּאַחֲרִיתbe/a/cha/RITin the lastהַיָּמִיםhay/ya/MIMdaysלָשֶׁבֶתla/SHE/vetto dwellעַל־הָאָרֶץal-ha/A/retson the earthבְּצֶדֶקbe/TSE/dekin righteousnessלְאֶלֶףle/E/leffor the space of a thousandשָׁנִים׃sha/NIMyears

    And it came to pass that Enoch saw the day of the coming of the Son of Man, in the last days, to dwell on the earth in righteousness for the space of a thousand years;

66. 66

    אַךְakhbutלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeהַיּוֹםhay/YOMthe dayהַהוּאha/HUthatרָאָהra/Ahe sawצָרוֹתtsa/ROTtribulationsגְּדוֹלוֹתge/do/LOTgreatבָּרְשָׁעִיםba/re/sha/IMamong the wickedוְרָאָהve/ra/Aand he sawגַםgamalsoהַיָּםhay/YAMthe seaנִגְרָשׁnig/RASHthat it was troubledוְלֵבve/LEVand the heartאֲנָשִׁיםa/na/SHIMof menנָמֵסna/MESfailingוְצוֹפִיםve/tso/FIMand looking forthבְּיִרְאָהbe/yir/Awith fearלְמִשְׁפְּטֵיle/mish/pe/TEfor the judgmentsאֵלelof GodשַׁדַּיShad/DAYthe Almightyהַבָּאִיםhab/ba/IMwhich should comeעַל־הָרְשָׁעִים׃al-ha/re/sha/IMupon the wicked

    But before that day he saw great tribulations among the wicked; and he also saw the sea, that it was troubled, and men's hearts failing them, looking forth with fear for the judgments of the Almighty God, which should come upon the wicked.

67. 67

    וַיַּרְאvay/YARand showedיְהוָהAdonaithe LordחֲנוֹךְCha/NOKHEnochכׇּל־הַדְּבָרִיםkol-had/de/va/RIMall thingsעַד־קֵץad-ketseven unto the endהָעוֹלָםha/o/LAMof the worldוַיַּרְאvay/YARand he sawיוֹםyomthe dayהַצַּדִּיקִיםhats/tsad/di/KIMof the righteousעֵתetthe hourגְּאֻלָּתָםge/ul/la/TAMof their redemptionוַיְקַבֵּלvay/kab/BELand receivedמְלֹאme/LOa fulnessשִׂמְחָה׃sim/CHAof joy

    And the Lord showed Enoch all things, even unto the end of the world; and he saw the day of the righteous, the hour of their redemption, and received a fulness of joy;

68. 68

    וְכׇל־יְמֵיve/KHOL-ye/MEand all the daysצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONof Zionבִּימֵיbi/MEin the daysחֲנוֹךְCha/NOKHof Enochשְׁלֹשׁshe/LOSHwere threeמֵאוֹתme/OThundredוְשִׁשִּׁיםve/shish/SHIMand sixtyוְחָמֵשׁve/cha/MESHand fiveשָׁנִים׃sha/NIMyears

    And all the days of Zion, in the days of Enoch, were three hundred and sixty-five years.

69. 69

    וַחֲנוֹךְva/Cha/NOKHand Enochוְכׇל־עַמּוֹve/KHOL-am/MOand all his peopleהִתְהַלְּכוּhit/hal/le/KHUwalkedעִם־אֱלֹהִיםim-e/lo/HIMwith Godוְהוּאve/HUand heשָׁכַןsha/KHANdweltבְּתוֹךְbe/TOKHin the midst ofצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONZionוַיְהִיvay/HIand it happenedצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONthat Zionאֵינֶנָּהe/NEN/nawas notכִּיkiforלָקַחla/KACHtookאֹתָהּo/TAherאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodאֶל־חֵיקוֹel-che/KOup into his own bosomוּמֵאָזu/me/AZand from thenceיָצָאya/TSAwent forthהַדָּבָרhad/da/VARthe sayingצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONZionנָסָה׃NA/safled

    And Enoch and all his people walked with God, and he dwelt in the midst of Zion; and it came to pass that Zion was not, for God received it up into his own bosom; and from thence went forth the saying, ZION IS FLED.
