Zechariah 5 זְכַרְיָה פרק ה׳

1. 1

   וָאָשׁוּבva/a/SHUVthen I turnedוָאֶשָּׂאva/es/SAand lifted upעֵינַיe/NAYmy eyesוָאֶרְאֶהva/er/Eand lookedוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdמְגִלָּהme/gil/LAa scrollעָפָה׃a/FAflying

   Then I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a flying roll.

2. 2

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלַיe/LAYto meמָהmawhatאַתָּהat/TAdo youרֹאֶהro/Eseeוָאֹמַרva/o/MARand I saidאֲנִיa/NIIרֹאֶהro/Eseeמְגִלָּהme/gil/LAa scrollעָפָהa/FAflyingאׇרְכָּהּor/KAits lengthעֶשְׂרִיםes/RIMtwentyבָּאַמָּהba/am/MAby the cubitוְרׇחְבָּהּve/roch/BAand its breadthעֶשֶׂרE/sertenבָּאַמָּה׃ba/am/MAby the cubit

   And he said unto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying roll; the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits.

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלַיe/LAYto meזֹאתzotthisהָאָלָהha/a/LAis the curseהַיּוֹצֵאתhay/yo/TSETthat goes forthעַל־פְּנֵיal-pe/NEover the face ofכׇל־הָאָרֶץkhol-ha/A/retsthe whole earthכִּיkiforכׇל־הַגֹּנֵבkhol-hag/go/NEVevery one that stealsמִזֶּהmiz/ZEon this sideכָּמוֹהָka/MO/haaccording to itנִקָּהnik/KAshall be cut offוְכׇל־הַנִּשְׁבָּעve/KHOL-han/nish/BAand every one that swearsמִזֶּהmiz/ZEon this sideכָּמוֹהָka/MO/haaccording to itנִקָּה׃nik/KAshall be cut off

   Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that stealeth shall be cut off as on this side according to it; and every one that sweareth shall be cut off as on that side according to it.

   הוֹצֵאתִיהָho/tse/TI/haI will bring it forthנְאֻםne/UMsaysיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDצְבָאוֹתtse/va/OTof hostsוּבָאָהu/VA/aand it shall enterאֶל־בֵּיתel-betinto the house ofהַגַּנָּבhag/gan/NAVthe thiefוְאֶל־בֵּיתve/EL-betand into the house ofהַנִּשְׁבָּעhan/nish/BAhim that swearsבִּשְׁמִיbish/MIby my nameלַשָּׁקֶרlash/SHA/kerfalselyוְלָנֶהve/LA/neand it shall remainבְּתוֹךְbe/TOKHin the midst ofבֵּיתוֹbe/TOhis houseוְכִלַּתּוּve/khil/LAT/tuand shall consume itוְאֶת־עֵצָיוve/ET-e/TSAYVwith its timberוְאֶת־אֲבָנָיו׃ve/ET-a/va/NAYVand its stones

   I will bring it forth, saith the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.

   וַיֵּצֵאvay/ye/TSEthen went forthהַמַּלְאָךְham/mal/AKHthe angelהַדֹּבֵרhad/do/VERthat talkedבִּיbiwith meוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלַיe/LAYto meשָׂאsalift upנָאnanowעֵינֶיךָe/NE/khayour eyesוּרְאֵהu/re/Eand seeמָהmawhat isהַיּוֹצֵאתhay/yo/TSETthat goes forthהַזֹּאת׃haz/ZOTthis

   Then the angel that talked with me went forth, and said unto me, Lift up now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth.

   וָאֹמַרva/o/MARand I saidמַה־הִיאma-hiwhat is itוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidזֹאתzotthisהָאֵיפָהha/e/FAis an ephahהַיּוֹצֵאתhay/yo/TSETthat goes forthוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidזֹאתzotthisעֵינָםe/NAMtheir resemblanceבְּכׇל־הָאָרֶץ׃be/KHOL-ha/A/retsin all the land

   And I said, What is it? And he said, This is an ephah that goeth forth. He said moreover, This is their resemblance through all the earth.

   וְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdכִּכַּרkik/KARa talent ofעֹפֶרֶתo/FE/retleadנִשֵּׂאתnis/SETlifted upוְזֹאתve/ZOTand this isאִשָּׁהish/SHAa womanאַחַתa/CHAToneיוֹשֶׁבֶתyo/SHE/vetthat sitsבְּתוֹךְbe/TOKHin the midst ofהָאֵיפָה׃ha/e/FAthe ephah

   And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah.

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidזֹאתzotthisהָרִשְׁעָהha/rish/Ais wickednessוַיַּשְׁלֵךְvay/yash/LEKHand he castאֹתָהּo/TAherאֶל־תּוֹךְel-tokhinto the midst ofהָאֵיפָהha/e/FAthe ephahוַיַּשְׁלֵךְvay/yash/LEKHand he castאֶת־אֶבֶןet-E/venthe weight ofהָעוֹפֶרֶתha/o/FE/retthe leadאֶל־פִּיהָ׃el-PI/haupon its mouth

   And he said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof.

   וָאֶשָּׂאva/es/SAthen I lifted upעֵינַיe/NAYmy eyesוָאֵרֶאva/E/reand lookedוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdשְׁתַּיִםSHTA/yimtwoנָשִׁיםna/SHIMwomenיוֹצְאוֹתyots/OTcame outוְרוּחַve/RU/achand the wind wasבְּכַנְפֵיהֶםbe/khan/fe/HEMin their wingsוְלָהֵנָּהve/la/HEN/nafor they hadכְנָפַיִםkhe/na/FA/yimwingsכְּכַנְפֵיke/khan/FElike the wings ofהַחֲסִידָהha/cha/si/DAthe storkוַתִּשֶּׂאנָהvat/tis/SE/naand they lifted upאֶת־הָאֵיפָהet-ha/e/FAthe ephahבֵּיןbenbetweenהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthוּבֵיןu/VENand betweenהַשָּׁמָיִם׃hash/sha/MA/yimthe heaven

   Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven.

    וָאֹמַרva/o/MARand I saidאֶל־הַמַּלְאָךְel-ham/mal/AKHto the angelהַדֹּבֵרhad/do/VERthat talkedבִּיbiwith meאָנָהA/nawhitherהֵמָּהHEM/mado theyמוֹלִכוֹתmo/li/KHOTbearאֶת־הָאֵיפָה׃et-ha/e/FAthe ephah

    Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these bear the ephah?

11. 11

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלַיe/LAYto meלִבְנוֹת־לָהֿliv/NOT-lato build itבַיִתVA/yita houseבְּאֶרֶץbe/E/retsin the land ofשִׁנְעָרShin/ARShinarוְהוּכַןve/hu/KHANand it shall be establishedוְהֻנִּיחָהve/hun/NI/chaand setשָּׁםshamthereעַל־מְכֻנָתָהּ׃al-me/khu/na/TAupon her own base

    And he said unto me, To build it an house in the land of Shinar: and it shall be established, and set there upon her own base.
