Zechariah 4 זְכַרְיָה פרק ד׳

   וַיָּשׇׁבvay/YA/shovand came againהַמַּלְאָךְham/mal/AKHthe angelהַדֹּבֵרhad/do/VERthat talkedבִּיbiwith meוַיְעִירֵנִיvay/i/RE/niand waked meכְּאִישׁke/ISHas a manאֲשֶׁר־יֵעוֹרa/SHER-ye/ORthat is wakenedמִשְּׁנָתוֹ׃mish/she/na/TOout of his sleep

   And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep,

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלַיe/LAYto meמָהmawhatאַתָּהat/TAdo youרֹאֶהro/Esee(ויאמר)vaymar[וָאֹמַר]va/o/MARand I saidרָאִיתִיra/I/tiI have lookedוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdמְנוֹרַתme/no/RATa lampstand ofזָהָבza/HAVgoldכֻּלָּהּkul/LAall of itוְגֻלָּהּve/gul/LAwith its bowlעַל־רֹאשָׁהּal-ro/SHAupon the top of itוְשִׁבְעָהve/shiv/Aand sevenנֵרֹתֶיהָne/ro/TE/haits lampsעָלֶיהָa/LE/hathereonשִׁבְעָהshiv/Asevenוְשִׁבְעָהve/shiv/Aand sevenמוּצָקוֹתmu/tsa/KOTpipesלַנֵּרוֹתlan/ne/ROTto the lampsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhich areעַל־רֹאשָׁהּ׃al-ro/SHAupon the top of it

   And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof:

   וּשְׁנַיִםu/she/NA/yimand twoזֵיתִיםze/TIMolive treesעָלֶיהָa/LE/haby itאֶחָדe/CHADoneמִימִיןmi/MINupon the right side ofהַגֻּלָּהhag/gul/LAthe bowlוְאֶחָדve/e/CHADand oneעַל־שְׂמֹאלָהּ׃al-se/mo/LAupon the left side of it

   And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.

   וָאַעַןva/A/anso I answeredוָאֹמַרva/o/MARand I saidאֶל־הַמַּלְאָךְel-ham/mal/AKHto the angelהַדֹּבֵרhad/do/VERthat talkedבִּיbiwith meלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingמָה־אֵלֶּהma-EL/lewhat are theseאֲדֹנִי׃a/do/NImy lord

   So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord?

   וַיַּעַןvay/YA/anand he answeredהַמַּלְאָךְham/mal/AKHthe angelהַדֹּבֵרhad/do/VERthat talkedבִּיbiwith meוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלַיe/LAYto meהֲלוֹאha/LOdo notיָדַעְתָּya/DA/tayou knowמָה־הֵמָּהma-HEM/mawhat theyאֵלֶּהEL/leare theseוָאֹמַרva/o/MARand I saidלֹאlonoאֲדֹנִי׃a/do/NImy lord

   Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.

   וַיַּעַןvay/YA/anand he answeredוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלַיe/LAYto meלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingזֶהzethisדְּבַר־יְהֹוָהde/VAR-Adonaithe word of the LORDאֶל־זְרֻבָּבֶלel-Ze/rub/ba/VELto Zerubbabelלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingלֹאlonotבְחַיִלve/CHA/yilby mightוְלֹאve/LOnorבְכֹחַve/KHO/achby powerכִּיkibutאִם־בְּרוּחִיim-be/ru/CHIrather by my spiritאָמַרa/MARsaysיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDצְבָאוֹת׃tse/va/OTof hosts

   Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

   מִי־אַתָּהmi-at/TAwho are youהַר־הַגָּדוֹלhar-hag/ga/DOLO great mountainלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeזְרֻבָּבֶלZe/rub/ba/VELZerubbabelלְמִישֹׁרle/mi/SHORshall become a plainוְהוֹצִיאve/ho/TSIand he shall bring forthאֶת־הָאֶבֶןet-ha/E/venthe stoneהָרֹאשָׁהֿha/ro/SHAthe headstoneתְּשֻׁאוֹתte/shu/OTwith shoutings ofחֵןchengraceחֵןchengraceלָהּ׃lato it

   Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.

   וַיְהִיvay/HIand cameדְבַר־יְהֹוָהde/VAR-Adonaithe word of the LORDאֵלַיe/LAYto meלֵאמֹר׃le/MORsaying

   Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

   יְדֵיye/DEthe hands ofזְרֻבָּבֶלZe/rub/ba/VELZerubbabelיִסְּדוּyis/se/DUhave laid the foundation ofהַבַּיִתhab/BA/yitthe houseהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisוְיָדָיוve/ya/DAYVand his handsתְּבַצַּעְנָהte/vats/TSA/nashall finish itוְיָדַעְתָּve/ya/da/TAand you shall knowכִּי־יְהֹוָהki-Adonaithat the LORDצְבָאוֹתtse/va/OTof hostsשְׁלָחַנִיshe/la/CHA/nihas sent meאֲלֵיכֶם׃a/le/KHEMto you

   The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you.

    כִּיkiforמִיmiwhoבַזvazhas despisedלְיוֹםle/YOMthe day ofקְטַנּוֹתke/tan/NOTsmall thingsוְשָׂמְחוּve/sa/me/CHUfor they shall rejoiceוְרָאוּve/ra/Uand shall seeאֶת־הָאֶבֶןet-ha/E/venthe stoneהַבְּדִילhab/be/DILthe plummetבְּיַדbe/YADin the hand ofזְרֻבָּבֶלZe/rub/ba/VELZerubbabelשִׁבְעָה־אֵלֶּהshiv/A-EL/lethese sevenעֵינֵיe/NEthe eyes ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDהֵמָּהHEM/matheyמְשׁוֹטְטִיםme/shot/TIMrun to and froבְּכׇל־הָאָרֶץ׃be/KHOL-ha/A/retsthrough the whole earth

    For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

    וָאַעַןva/A/anthen I answeredוָאֹמַרva/o/MARand I saidאֵלָיוe/LAYVto himמַה־שְּׁנֵיma-she/NEwhat are the twoהַזֵּיתִיםhaz/ze/TIMthe olive treesהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseעַל־יְמִיןal-ye/MINupon the right side ofהַמְּנוֹרָהham/me/no/RAthe lampstandוְעַל־שְׂמֹאולָהּ׃ve/AL-se/mo/LAand upon the left side of it

    Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?

12. 12

    וָאַעַןva/A/anand I answeredשֵׁנִיתshe/NITagainוָאֹמַרva/o/MARand I saidאֵלָיוe/LAYVto himמַה־שְׁתֵּיma-shtewhat are the twoשִׁבְּלֵיshib/be/LEbranches ofהַזֵּיתִיםhaz/ze/TIMthe olive treesאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichבְּיַדbe/YADthroughשְׁנֵיshe/NEthe twoצַנְתְּרוֹתtsan/te/ROTpipes ofהַזָּהָבhaz/za/HAVthe goldהַמְרִיקִיםham/ri/KIMthat emptyמֵעֲלֵיהֶםme/a/le/HEMout of themselvesהַזָּהָב׃haz/za/HAVthe gold

    And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?

13. 13

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלַיe/LAYto meלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingהֲלוֹאha/LOdo notיָדַעְתָּya/DA/tayou knowמָה־אֵלֶּהma-EL/lewhat these areוָאֹמַרva/o/MARand I saidלֹאlonoאֲדֹנִי׃a/do/NImy lord

    And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.

14. 14

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלֶּהEL/letheseשְׁנֵיshe/NEtwoבְנֵי־הַיִּצְהָרve/NE-hay/yits/HARthe anointed onesהָעֹמְדִיםha/om/DIMthat standעַל־אֲדוֹןal-a/DONby the Lord ofכׇּל־הָאָרֶץ׃kol-ha/A/retsthe whole earth

    Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.
