Zechariah 2 זְכַרְיָה פרק ב׳

   וָאֶשָּׂאva/es/SAthen I lifted upאֶת־עֵינַיet-e/NAYmy eyesוָאֵרֶאva/E/reand sawוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdאַרְבַּעar/BAfourקְרָנוֹת׃ke/ra/NOThorns

   Then lifted I up mine eyes, and saw, and behold four horns.

   וָאֹמַרva/o/MARand I saidאֶל־הַמַּלְאָךְel-ham/mal/AKHto the angelהַדֹּבֵרhad/do/VERthat talkedבִּיbiwith meמָה־אֵלֶּהma-EL/lewhat are theseוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלַיe/LAYto meאֵלֶּהEL/letheseהַקְּרָנוֹתhak/ke/ra/NOTare the hornsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichזֵרוּze/RUhave scatteredאֶת־יְהוּדָהet-Ye/hu/DAJudahאֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵלet-Yis/ra/ELIsraelוִירוּשָׁלָ͏ִם׃Vi/ru/sha/LA/yimand Jerusalem

   And I said unto the angel that talked with me, What be these? And he answered me, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.

   וַיַּרְאֵנִיvay/yar/E/niand showed meיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאַרְבָּעָהar/ba/Afourחָרָשִׁים׃cha/ra/SHIMcraftsmen

   And the LORD shewed me four carpenters.

4. 4

   וָאֹמַרva/o/MARand I saidמָהmawhatאֵלֶּהEL/letheseבָאִיםva/IMcomeלַעֲשׂוֹתla/a/SOTto doוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand he spokeלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingאֵלֶּהEL/letheseהַקְּרָנוֹתhak/ke/ra/NOTthe hornsאֲשֶׁר־זֵרוּa/SHER-ZE/ruwhich have scatteredאֶת־יְהוּדָהet-Ye/hu/DAJudahכְּפִי־אִישׁke/FI-ishso that a manלֹא־נָשָׂאlo-na/SAdid not lift upרֹאשׁוֹro/SHOhis headוַיָּבֹאוּvay/ya/VO/ubut are comeאֵלֶּהEL/letheseלְהַחֲרִידle/ha/cha/RIDto terrifyאֹתָםo/TAMthemלְיַדּוֹתle/yad/DOTto cast downאֶת־קַרְנוֹתet-kar/NOTthe horns ofהַגּוֹיִםhag/go/YIMthe nationsהַנֹּשְׂאִיםhan/nos/IMwhich lifted upקֶרֶןKE/renthe hornאֶל־אֶרֶץel-E/retsover the land ofיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahלְזָרוֹתָהּ׃le/za/ro/TAto scatter it

   Then said I, What come these to do? And he spake, saying, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head: but these are come to fray them, to cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up their horn over the land of Judah to scatter it.

   I lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand.

   וָאֹמַרva/o/MARand I saidאָנָהA/nawhitherאַתָּהat/TAyouהֹלֵךְho/LEKHgoוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלַיe/LAYto meלָמֹדla/MODto measureאֶת־יְרוּשָׁלַ͏ִםet-Ye/ru/sha/LA/yimJerusalemלִרְאוֹתlir/OTto seeכַּמָּה־רׇחְבָּהּkam/MA-roch/BAwhat is its breadthוְכַמָּהve/kham/MAand what isאׇרְכָּהּ׃or/KAits length

   Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.

   וְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdהַמַּלְאָךְham/mal/AKHthe angelהַדֹּבֵרhad/do/VERthat talkedבִּיbiwith meיֹצֵאyo/TSEwent forthוּמַלְאָךְu/mal/AKHand an angelאַחֵרa/CHERanotherיֹצֵאyo/TSEwent forthלִקְרָאתוֹ׃lik/ra/TOto meet him

   And, behold, the angel that talked with me went forth, and another angel went out to meet him,

8. 8

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלָוe/LAVto himרֻץrutsrunדַּבֵּרdab/BERspeakאֶל־הַנַּעַרel-han/NA/arto the young manהַלָּזhal/LAZthisלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingפְּרָזוֹתpe/ra/ZOTas towns without wallsתֵּשֵׁבte/SHEVshall be inhabitedיְרוּשָׁלַ͏ִםYe/ru/sha/LA/yimJerusalemמֵרֹבme/ROVfor the multitude ofאָדָםa/DAMmenוּבְהֵמָהu/ve/he/MAand cattleבְּתוֹכָהּ׃be/to/KHAin her midst

   And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein:

9. 9

   וַאֲנִיva/a/NIfor Iאֶהְיֶה־לָּהּeh/YE-lawill be to herנְאֻם־יְהֹוָהne/UM-Adonaisays the LORDחוֹמַתcho/MATa wall ofאֵשׁeshfireסָבִיבsa/VIVround aboutוּלְכָבוֹדu/le/kha/VODand for the gloryאֶהְיֶהeh/YEwill I beבְתוֹכָהּ׃ve/to/KHAin her midst

   For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

    הוֹיhoyhoהוֹיhoyhoוְנֻסוּve/NU/suand fleeמֵאֶרֶץme/E/retsfrom the land ofצָפוֹןtsa/FONthe northנְאֻם־יְהֹוָהne/UM-Adonaisays the LORDכִּיkiforכְּאַרְבַּעke/ar/BAas the fourרוּחוֹתru/CHOTwinds ofהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimthe heavenפֵּרַשְׂתִּיpe/RAS/tiI have spread abroadאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouנְאֻם־יְהֹוָה׃ne/UM-Adonaisays the LORD

    Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land of the north, saith the LORD: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the LORD.

11. 11

    הוֹיhoyhoצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONO Zionהִמָּלְטִיhim/ma/le/TIdeliver yourselfיוֹשֶׁבֶתyo/SHE/vetthat dwell withבַּת־בָּבֶל׃bat-Ba/VELdaughter of Babylon

    Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon.

12. 12

    כִּיkiforכֹהkhothusאָמַרa/MARsaysיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDצְבָאוֹתtse/va/OTof hostsאַחַרa/CHARafterכָּבוֹדka/VODthe gloryשְׁלָחַנִיshe/la/CHA/nihas He sent meאֶל־הַגּוֹיִםel-hag/go/YIMto the nationsהַשֹּׁלְלִיםhash/shol/LIMwhich spoiledאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouכִּיkiforהַנֹּגֵעַhan/no/GE/ahe that touchesבָּכֶםba/KHEMyouנֹגֵעַno/GE/atouchesבְּבָבַתbe/va/VATthe apple ofעֵינוֹ׃e/NOHis eye

    For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.

13. 13

    כִּיkiforהִנְנִיhin/NIbehold Iמֵנִיףme/NIFwill shakeאֶת־יָדִיet-ya/DImy handעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMupon themוְהָיוּve/ha/YUand they shall beשָׁלָלsha/LALa spoilלְעַבְדֵיהֶםle/av/de/HEMto their servantsוִידַעְתֶּםvi/da/TEMand you shall knowכִּי־יְהֹוָהki-Adonaithat the LORDצְבָאוֹתtse/va/OTof hostsשְׁלָחָנִי׃she/la/CHA/nihas sent me

    For, behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their servants: and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me.

14. 14

    רׇנִּיron/NIsingוְשִׂמְחִיve/sim/CHIand rejoiceבַּת־צִיּוֹןbat-Tsiy/YONO daughter of Zionכִּיkiforהִנְנִי־בָאhin/NI-vabehold I comeוְשָׁכַנְתִּיve/sha/khan/TIand I will dwellבְתוֹכֵךְve/to/KHEKHin your midstנְאֻם־יְהֹוָה׃ne/UM-Adonaisays the LORD

    Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the LORD.

15. 15

    וְנִלְווּve/nil/VUand shall be joinedגוֹיִםgo/YIMnationsרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyאֶל־יְהֹוָהel-Adonaito the LORDבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMin the dayהַהוּאha/HUthatוְהָיוּve/ha/YUand they shall beלִיlimyלְעָםle/AMpeopleוְשָׁכַנְתִּיve/sha/khan/TIand I will dwellבְתוֹכֵךְve/to/KHEKHin your midstוְיָדַעַתְּve/ya/DA/attand you shall knowכִּי־יְהֹוָהki-Adonaithat the LORDצְבָאוֹתtse/va/OTof hostsשְׁלָחַנִיshe/la/CHA/nihas sent meאֵלָיִךְ׃e/LA/yikhto you

    And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee.

16. 16

    וְנָחַלve/na/CHALand shall inheritיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶת־יְהוּדָהet-Ye/hu/DAJudahחֶלְקוֹchel/KOHis portionעַלalinאַדְמַתad/MATthe landהַקֹּדֶשׁhak/KO/deshholyוּבָחַרu/va/CHARand shall chooseעוֹדodagainבִּירוּשָׁלָ͏ִם׃bI/ru/sha/LA/yimin Jerusalem

    And the LORD shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again.

17. 17

    הַסhasbe silentכׇּל־בָּשָׂרkol-ba/SARall fleshמִפְּנֵיmip/pe/NEbeforeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDכִּיkiforנֵעוֹרne/ORHe is raised upמִמְּעוֹןmim/me/ONout of the habitation ofקׇדְשׁוֹ׃kod/SHOHis holiness

    Be silent, O all flesh, before the LORD: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation.
