Zechariah 10 זְכַרְיָה פרק י׳

   שַׁאֲלוּsha/a/LUaskמֵיְהֹוָהme-Adonaiof the LORDמָטָרma/TARrainבְּעֵתbe/ETin the time ofמַלְקוֹשׁmal/KOSHthe latter rainיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDעֹשֶׂהo/SEmakesחֲזִיזִיםcha/zi/ZIMbright cloudsוּמְטַר־גֶּשֶׁםu/me/TAR-GE/shemand showers of rainיִתֵּןyit/TENwill giveלָהֶםla/HEMthemלְאִישׁle/ISHto every oneעֵשֶׂבE/sevgrassבַּשָּׂדֶה׃bas/sa/DEin the field

   Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.

   כִּיkiforהַתְּרָפִיםhat/te/ra/FIMthe teraphimדִּבְּרוּ־אָוֶןdib/be/RU-A/venhave spoken iniquityוְהַקּוֹסְמִיםve/hak/kos/MIMand the divinersחָזוּCHA/zuhave seenשֶׁקֶרSHE/kera lieוַחֲלֹמוֹתva/cha/lo/MOTand the dreams ofהַשָּׁוְאhash/SHAVfalsehoodיְדַבֵּרוּye/dab/BE/ruthey tellהֶבֶלHE/velvanityיְנַחֵמוּןye/na/che/MUNthey comfortעַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeנָסְעוּna/se/Uthey went their wayכְמוֹ־צֹאןkhe/MO-tsonas a flockיַעֲנוּya/a/NUthey were afflictedכִּי־אֵיןki-enbecause there is noרֹעֶה׃ro/Eshepherd

   For the idols have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie, and have told false dreams; they comfort in vain: therefore they went their way as a flock, they were troubled, because there was no shepherd.

   עַל־הָרֹעִיםal-ha/ro/IMagainst the shepherdsחָרָהcha/RAwas kindledאַפִּיap/PImy angerוְעַל־הָעַתּוּדִיםve/AL-ha/at/tu/DIMand the he-goatsאֶפְקוֹדef/KODI will punishכִּי־פָקַדki-fa/KADfor has visitedיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDצְבָאוֹתtse/va/OTof hostsאֶת־עֶדְרוֹet-ed/ROHis flockאֶת־בֵּיתet-betthe house ofיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahוְשָׂםve/SAMand has madeאוֹתָםo/TAMthemכְּסוּסke/SUSas the horse ofהוֹדוֹho/DOHis majestyבַּמִּלְחָמָה׃bam/mil/cha/MAin the battle

   Mine anger was kindled against the shepherds, and I punished the goats: for the LORD of hosts hath visited his flock the house of Judah, and hath made them as his goodly horse in the battle.

   מִמֶּנּוּmim/MEN/nuout of himפִנָּהfin/NAthe cornerstoneמִמֶּנּוּmim/MEN/nuout of himיָתֵדya/TEDthe tent pegמִמֶּנּוּmim/MEN/nuout of himקֶשֶׁתKE/shetthe bow ofמִלְחָמָהmil/cha/MAbattleמִמֶּנּוּmim/MEN/nuout of himיֵצֵאye/TSEshall go forthכׇל־נוֹגֵשׂkhol-no/GESevery rulerיַחְדָּו׃yach/DAVtogether

   Out of him came forth the corner, out of him the nail, out of him the battle bow, out of him every oppressor together.

5. 5

   וְהָיוּve/ha/YUand they shall beכְגִבֹּרִיםkhe/gib/bo/RIMas mighty menבּוֹסִיםbo/SIMwho tread downבְּטִיטbe/TITin the mire ofחוּצוֹתchu/TSOTthe streetsבַּמִּלְחָמָהbam/mil/cha/MAin the battleוְנִלְחֲמוּve/nil/cha/MUand they shall fightכִּיkibecauseיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDעִמָּםim/MAMis with themוְהֹבִישׁוּve/ho/VI/shuand shall be confoundedרֹכְבֵיrokh/VEthe riders onסוּסִים׃su/SIMhorses

   And they shall be as mighty men, which tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because the LORD is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded.

6. 6

   וְגִבַּרְתִּיve/gib/bar/TIand I will strengthenאֶת־בֵּיתet-betthe house ofיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahוְאֶת־בֵּיתve/ET-betand the house ofיוֹסֵףYo/SEFJosephאוֹשִׁיעַo/SHI/awill I saveוְהוֹשְׁבוֹתִיםve/hosh/vo/TIMand I will bring them backכִּיkiforרִחַמְתִּיםri/cham/TIMI have mercy on themוְהָיוּve/ha/YUand they shall beכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasלֹא־זְנַחְתִּיםlo-ze/nach/TIMI had not cast them offכִּיkiforאֲנִיa/NII amיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֵיהֶםe/lo/he/HEMtheir Godוְאֶעֱנֵם׃ve/e/e/NEMand I will answer them

   And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them again to place them; for I have mercy upon them: and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am the LORD their God, and will hear them.

7. 7

   וְהָיוּve/ha/YUand shall beכְגִבּוֹרkhe/gib/BORlike a mighty manאֶפְרַיִםEf/RA/yimEphraimוְשָׂמַחve/sa/MACHand shall rejoiceלִבָּםlib/BAMtheir heartכְּמוֹ־יָיִןke/MO-YA/yinas through wineוּבְנֵיהֶםu/ve/ne/HEMyea their childrenיִרְאוּyir/Ushall see itוְשָׂמֵחוּve/sa/ME/chuand be gladיָגֵלya/GELshall rejoiceלִבָּםlib/BAMtheir heartבַּיהֹוָה׃ba-Adonaiin the LORD

   And they of Ephraim shall be like a mighty man, and their heart shall rejoice as through wine: yea, their children shall see it, and be glad; their heart shall rejoice in the LORD.

8. 8

   אֶשְׁרְקָהesh/re/KAI will whistle forלָהֶםla/HEMthemוַאֲקַבְּצֵםva/a/kab/be/TSEMand gather themכִּיkiforפְדִיתִיםfe/di/TIMI have redeemed themוְרָבוּve/ra/VUand they shall increaseכְּמוֹke/MOasרָבוּ׃ra/VUthey have increased

   I will hiss for them, and gather them; for I have redeemed them: and they shall increase as they have increased.

9. 9

   וְאֶזְרָעֵםve/ez/ra/EMand I will sow themבָּעַמִּיםba/am/MIMamong the peoplesוּבַמֶּרְחַקִּיםu/vam/mer/chak/KIMand in far countriesיִזְכְּרוּנִיyiz/ke/RU/nithey shall remember meוְחָיוּve/cha/YUand they shall liveאֶת־בְּנֵיהֶםet-be/ne/HEMwith their childrenוָשָׁבוּ׃va/SHA/vuand return

   And I will sow them among the people: and they shall remember me in far countries; and they shall live with their children, and turn again.

10. 10

    וַהֲשִׁבוֹתִיםva/ha/shi/vo/TIMand I will bring them againמֵאֶרֶץme/E/retsfrom the land ofמִצְרַיִםMits/RA/yimEgyptוּמֵאַשּׁוּרu/Me/ash/SHURand from Assyriaאֲקַבְּצֵםa/kab/be/TSEMwill I gather themוְאֶל־אֶרֶץve/EL-E/retsand into the land ofגִּלְעָדGil/ADGileadוּלְבָנוֹןu/Le/va/NONand Lebanonאֲבִיאֵםa/vi/EMI will bring themוְלֹאve/LOand notיִמָּצֵאyim/ma/TSEshall be foundלָהֶם׃la/HEMfor them

    I will bring them again also out of the land of Egypt, and gather them out of Assyria; and I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon; and place shall not be found for them.

11. 11

    וְעָבַרve/a/VARand he shall pass throughבַּיָּםbay/YAMthe seaצָרָהtsa/RAof afflictionוְהִכָּהve/hik/KAand shall smiteבַיָּםvay/YAMin the seaגַּלִּיםgal/LIMthe wavesוְהֹבִישׁוּve/ho/VI/shuand shall dry upכֹּלkolallמְצוּלוֹתme/tsu/LOTthe deeps ofיְאֹרYe/ORthe Riverוְהוּרַדve/hu/RADand shall be brought downגְּאוֹןge/ONthe pride ofאַשּׁוּרAsh/SHURAssyriaוְשֵׁבֶטve/SHE/vetand the scepter ofמִצְרַיִםMits/RA/yimEgyptיָסוּר׃ya/SURshall depart

    And he shall pass through the sea with affliction, and shall smite the waves in the sea, and all the deeps of the river shall dry up: and the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the sceptre of Egypt shall depart away.

12. 12

    וְגִבַּרְתִּיםve/gib/bar/TIMand I will strengthen themבַּיהֹוָהba-Adonaiin the LORDוּבִשְׁמוֹu/vish/MOand in His nameיִתְהַלָּכוּyit/hal/LA/khuthey shall walk up and downנְאֻםne/UMsaysיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    And I will strengthen them in the LORD; and they shall walk up and down in his name, saith the LORD.
