   The LORD reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.

   עָנָןa/NANcloudsוַעֲרָפֶלva/a/ra/FELand thick darkness areסְבִיבָיוse/vi/VAYVround about HimצֶדֶקTSE/dekrighteousnessוּמִשְׁפָּטu/mish/PATand justiceמְכוֹןme/KHONare the foundation ofכִּסְאוֹ׃kis/OHis throne

   Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne.

   אֵשׁeshfireלְפָנָיוle/fa/NAYVbefore Himתֵּלֵךְte/LEKHgoesוּתְלַהֵטu/te/la/HETand burnsסָבִיבsa/VIVall aroundצָרָיו׃tsa/RAYVHis enemies

   A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about.

   הֵאִירוּhe/I/rulit upבְרָקָיוve/ra/KAYVHis lightningsתֵּבֵלte/VELthe worldרָאֲתָהra/a/TAsawוַתָּחֵלvat/ta/CHELand trembledהָאָרֶץ׃ha/A/retsthe earth

   His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled.

   The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

   הִגִּידוּhig/GI/dudeclareהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimthe heavensצִדְקוֹtsid/KOHis righteousnessוְרָאוּve/ra/Uand seeכׇל־הָעַמִּיםkhol-ha/am/MIMall the peoplesכְּבוֹדוֹ׃ke/vo/DOHis glory

   The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.

   Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: worship him, all ye gods.

   Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of thy judgments, O LORD.

   כִּי־אַתָּהki-at/TAfor YouיְהֹוָהAdonaiO LORDעֶלְיוֹןEl/YONare Most Highעַל־כׇּל־הָאָרֶץal-kol-ha/A/retsupon all the earthמְאֹדme/ODfarנַעֲלֵיתָna/a/LE/taYou are exaltedעַל־כׇּל־אֱלֹהִים׃al-kol-e/lo/HIMabove all gods

   For thou, LORD, art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods.

    אֹהֲבֵיo/ha/VEyou who loveיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDשִׂנְאוּ־רָעsin/U-rahate evilשֹׁמֵרsho/MERHe keepsנַפְשׁוֹתnaf/SHOTthe souls ofחֲסִידָיוcha/si/DAYVHis faithful onesמִיַּדmiy/YADfrom the hand ofרְשָׁעִיםre/sha/IMthe wickedיַצִּילֵם׃yats/tsi/LEMHe delivers them

    Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

    אוֹרorlight isזָרֻעַza/RU/asownלַצַּדִּיקlats/tsad/DIKfor the righteousוּלְיִשְׁרֵי־לֵבu/le/yish/RE-levand for the upright in heartשִׂמְחָה׃sim/CHAgladness

    Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

    שִׂמְחוּsim/CHUrejoiceצַדִּיקִיםtsad/di/KIMO you righteousבַּיהֹוָהba-Adonaiin the LORDוְהוֹדוּve/ho/DUand give thanksלְזֵכֶרle/ZE/kherat the remembrance ofקׇדְשׁוֹ׃kod/SHOHis holiness

    Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
