יֹשֵׁבhe who dwells inבְּסֵתֶרin the cover ofעֶלְיוֹןthe Most Highבְּצֵלunder the shadow ofשַׁדַּיthe Almightyיִתְלוֹנָן׃shall abide
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

אֹמַרI will sayלַיהֹוָהof the LORDמַחְסִיHe is my refugeוּמְצוּדָתִיand my fortressאֱלֹהַיmy Godאֶבְטַח־בּוֹ׃in Him will I trust
I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

כִּיthatהוּאHeיַצִּילְךָshall deliver youמִפַּחfrom the snare ofיָקוּשׁthe fowlerמִדֶּבֶרfrom the plague ofהַוּוֹת׃destruction
Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

בְּאֶבְרָתוֹwith His pinionsיָסֶךְHe shall coverלָךְyouוְתַחַת־כְּנָפָיוand under His wingsתֶּחְסֶהyou shall take refugeצִנָּהa shieldוְסֹחֵרָהand bucklerאֲמִתּוֹ׃His truth
He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

לֹא־תִירָאyou shall not be afraidמִפַּחַדof the terror ofלָיְלָהthe nightמֵחֵץof the arrowיָעוּףthat fliesיוֹמָם׃by day
Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

מִדֶּבֶרof the plagueבָּאֹפֶלthat in darknessיַהֲלֹךְwalksמִקֶּטֶבof the destructionיָשׁוּדthat lays wasteצׇהֳרָיִם׃at noonday
Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

יִפֹּלshall fallמִצִּדְּךָat your sideאֶלֶףthousandוּרְבָבָהand ten thousandמִימִינֶךָat your right handאֵלֶיךָto youלֹאnotיִגָּשׁ׃shall it come near
A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

רַקonlyבְּעֵינֶיךָwith your eyesתַבִּיטyou shall lookוְשִׁלֻּמַתand the reward ofרְשָׁעִיםthe wickedתִּרְאֶה׃you shall see
Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

כִּי־אַתָּהbecause YouיְהֹוָהO LORDמַחְסִיare my refugeעֶלְיוֹןthe Most Highשַׂמְתָּyou have madeמְעוֹנֶךָ׃your habitation
Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

לֹא־תְאֻנֶּהthere shall no befallאֵלֶיךָto youרָעָהevilוְנֶגַעand plagueלֹא־יִקְרַבshall not come nearבְּאׇהֳלֶךָ׃your tent
There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

כִּיforמַלְאָכָיוHis angelsיְצַוֶּה־לָּךְHe shall give charge over youלִשְׁמׇרְךָto keep youבְּכׇל־דְּרָכֶיךָ׃in all your ways
For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

עַל־כַּפַּיִםupon their handsיִשָּׂאוּנְךָthey shall bear you upפֶּן־תִּגֹּףlest you dashבָּאֶבֶןagainst a stoneרַגְלֶךָ׃your foot
They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

עַל־שַׁחַלupon a lionוָפֶתֶןand adderתִּדְרֹךְyou shall treadתִּרְמֹסyou shall trampleכְּפִירthe young lionוְתַנִּין׃and the dragon
Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

כִּיbecauseבִיupon Meחָשַׁקbecause he has set his loveוַאֲפַלְּטֵהוּand I will deliver himאֲשַׂגְּבֵהוּI will set him on highכִּי־יָדַעbecause he has knownשְׁמִי׃My name
Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

יִקְרָאֵנִיhe shall call upon Meוְאֶעֱנֵהוּand I will answer himעִמּוֹ־אָנֹכִיI will be with himבְצָרָהin troubleאֲחַלְּצֵהוּI will deliver himוַאֲכַבְּדֵהוּ׃and I will honor him
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

אֹרֶךְwith longיָמִיםlifeאַשְׂבִּיעֵהוּI will satisfy himוְאַרְאֵהוּand show himבִּישׁוּעָתִי׃My salvation
With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
