   חַסְדֵיchas/DEthe kindnesses ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDעוֹלָםo/LAMforeverאָשִׁירָהa/SHI/raI will singלְדֹרle/DORto generationוָדֹרva/DORand generationאוֹדִיעַo/DI/aI will make knownאֱמוּנָתְךָe/mu/na/te/KHAYour faithfulnessבְּפִי׃be/FIwith my mouth

   I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.

   כִּי־אָמַרְתִּיki-a/MAR/tifor I have saidעוֹלָםo/LAMforeverחֶסֶדCHE/sedkindnessיִבָּנֶהyib/ba/NEshall be built upשָׁמַיִםsha/MA/yimthe heavensתָּכִןta/KHINYou establishאֱמוּנָתְךָe/mu/na/te/KHAYour faithfulnessבָהֶם׃va/HEMamong them

   For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens.

   כָּרַתִּיka/RAT/tiI have madeבְרִיתve/RITa covenantלִבְחִירִיliv/chi/RIwith My chosen oneנִשְׁבַּעְתִּיnish/BA/tiI have swornלְדָוִדle/Da/VIDto Davidעַבְדִּי׃av/DIMy servant

   I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant,

   עַד־עוֹלָםad-o/LAMforeverאָכִיןa/KHINI will establishזַרְעֶךָzar/E/khayour offspringוּבָנִיתִיu/va/NI/tiand I will buildלְדֹר־וָדוֹרle/DOR-va/DORfor all generationsכִּסְאֲךָkis/a/KHAyour throneסֶלָה׃SE/laSelah

   Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. Selah.

   וְיוֹדוּve/yo/DUand shall praiseשָׁמַיִםsha/MA/yimthe heavensפִּלְאֲךָpil/a/KHAYour wondersיְהֹוָהAdonaiO LORDאַף־אֱמוּנָתְךָaf-e/mu/na/te/KHAalso Your faithfulnessבִּקְהַלbik/HALin the assembly ofקְדֹשִׁים׃ke/do/SHIMthe holy ones

   And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O LORD: thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints.

   כִּיkiforמִיmiwhoבַשַּׁחַקvash/SHA/chakin the skyיַעֲרֹךְya/a/ROKHcan compareלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDיִדְמֶהyid/MEcan be likenedלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDבִּבְנֵיbiv/NEamong the sons ofאֵלִים׃e/LIMthe mighty

   For who in the heaven can be compared unto the LORD? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the LORD?

   אֵלelGodנַעֲרָץna/a/RATSis dreadedבְּסוֹד־קְדֹשִׁיםbe/SOD-ke/do/SHIMin the council of the holy onesרַבָּהrab/BAgreatlyוְנוֹרָאve/no/RAand awesomeעַל־כׇּל־סְבִיבָיו׃al-kol-se/vi/VAYVabove all who are round about Him

   God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him.

   יְהֹוָהAdonaiO LORDאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEGod ofצְבָאוֹתtse/va/OTof hostsמִי־כָמוֹךָmi-kha/MO/khawho is like Youחֲסִיןcha/SINmightyיָהּyaLORDוֶאֱמוּנָתְךָve/e/mu/na/te/KHAand Your faithfulnessסְבִיבוֹתֶיךָ׃se/vi/vo/TE/khais round about You

   O LORD God of hosts, who is a strong LORD like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee?

    אַתָּהat/TAYouמוֹשֵׁלmo/SHELruleבְּגֵאוּתbe/ge/UTover the swelling ofהַיָּםhay/YAMthe seaבְּשׂוֹאbe/SOwhen riseגַלָּיוgal/LAYVits wavesאַתָּהat/TAYouתְשַׁבְּחֵם׃te/shab/be/CHEMYou still them

    Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.

    אַתָּהat/TAYouדִכִּאתָdik/KI/taYou crushedכֶחָלָלkhe/cha/LALlike one slainרָהַבRA/havRahabבִּזְרוֹעַbiz/RO/awith the arm ofעֻזְּךָuz/ze/KHAYour strengthפִּזַּרְתָּpiz/ZAR/taYou have scatteredאוֹיְבֶיךָ׃oy/VE/khaYour enemies

    Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy strong arm.

    לְךָle/KHAYours areשָׁמַיִםsha/MA/yimthe heavensאַף־לְךָaf-le/KHAYours also isאָרֶץA/retsthe earthתֵּבֵלte/VELthe worldוּמְלֹאָהּu/me/lo/Aand all its fullnessאַתָּהat/TAYouיְסַדְתָּם׃ye/sad/TAMhave founded them

    The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them.

    צָפוֹןtsa/FONthe northוְיָמִיןve/ya/MINand the southאַתָּהat/TAYouבְרָאתָםve/ra/TAMhave created themתָּבוֹרTa/VORTaborוְחֶרְמוֹןve/Cher/MONand Hermonבְּשִׁמְךָbe/shim/KHAin Your nameיְרַנֵּנוּ׃ye/ran/NE/nushall rejoice

    The north and the south thou hast created them: Tabor and Hermon shall rejoice in thy name.

    לְךָle/KHAYours isזְרוֹעַze/RO/aan armעִם־גְּבוּרָהim-ge/vu/RAwith mightתָּעֹזta/OZstrong isיָדְךָya/de/KHAYour handתָּרוּםta/RUMand high isיְמִינֶךָ׃ye/mi/NE/khaYour right hand

    Thou hast a mighty arm: strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand.

    צֶדֶקTSE/dekrighteousnessוּמִשְׁפָּטu/mish/PATand justiceמְכוֹןme/KHONare the foundation ofכִּסְאֶךָkis/E/khaYour throneחֶסֶדCHE/sedkindnessוֶאֱמֶתve/e/METand truthיְקַדְּמוּye/kad/de/MUgo beforeפָנֶיךָ׃fa/NE/khaYour face

    Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.

16. 16

    אַשְׁרֵיash/REblessed isהָעָםha/AMthe peopleיֹדְעֵיyod/Ewho knowתְרוּעָהte/ru/Athe shoutיְהֹוָהAdonaiO LORDבְּאוֹר־פָּנֶיךָbe/OR-pa/NE/khain the light of Your faceיְהַלֵּכוּן׃ye/hal/le/KHUNthey shall walk

    Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.

17. 17

    בְּשִׁמְךָbe/shim/KHAin Your nameיְגִילוּןye/gi/LUNthey shall rejoiceכׇּל־הַיּוֹםkol-hay/YOMall the dayוּבְצִדְקָתְךָu/ve/tsid/ka/te/KHAand in Your righteousnessיָרוּמוּ׃ya/RU/muthey shall be exalted

    In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.

18. 18

    כִּי־תִפְאֶרֶתki-tif/E/retfor the glory ofעֻזָּמוֹuz/ZA/moof their strengthאָתָּהAT/taYou areוּבִרְצוֹנְךָu/vir/tson/KHAand in Your favor(תרים)tarayam[תָּרוּם]ta/RUMshall be exaltedקַרְנֵינוּ׃kar/ne/NUour horn

    For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted.

19. 19

    כִּיkiforלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORD belongsמָגִנֵּנוּma/gin/NE/nuour shieldוְלִקְדוֹשׁve/Lik/DOSHand to the Holy One ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelמַלְכֵּנוּ׃mal/KE/nuis our king

    For the LORD is our defence; and the Holy One of Israel is our king.

20. 20

    אָזazthenדִּבַּרְתָּ־בְחָזוֹןdib/BAR/ta-ve/cha/ZONYou spoke in a visionלַחֲסִידֶיךָla/cha/si/DE/khato Your faithful onesוַתֹּאמֶרvat/TO/merand saidשִׁוִּיתִיshiv/VI/tiI have placedעֵזֶרE/zerhelpעַל־גִּבּוֹרal-gib/BORupon a mighty oneהֲרִימוֹתִיha/ri/MO/tiI have exaltedבָחוּרva/CHURone chosenמֵעָם׃me/AMout of the people

    Then thou spakest in vision to thy holy one, and saidst, I have laid help upon one that is mighty; I have exalted one chosen out of the people.

21. 21

    מָצָאתִיma/TSA/tiI have foundדָּוִדDa/VIDDavidעַבְדִּיav/DIMy servantבְּשֶׁמֶןbe/SHE/menwith oil ofקׇדְשִׁיkod/SHIMy holinessמְשַׁחְתִּיו׃me/shach/TIVI have anointed him

    I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:

22. 22

    אֲשֶׁרa/SHERwith whomיָדִיya/DIMy handתִּכּוֹןtik/KONshall be establishedעִמּוֹim/MOwith himאַף־זְרוֹעִיaf-ze/ro/Ialso My armתְאַמְּצֶנּוּ׃te/am/me/TSEN/nushall strengthen him

    With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him.

23. 23

    לֹא־יַשִּׁיאlo-yash/SHIshall not deceiveאוֹיֵבo/YEVthe enemyבּוֹbohimוּבֶן־עַוְלָהu/VEN-av/LAand the son of iniquityלֹאlonotיְעַנֶּנּוּ׃ye/an/NEN/nuafflict him

    The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.

24. 24

    וְכַתּוֹתִיve/khat/to/TIand I will crushמִפָּנָיוmip/pa/NAYVbefore himצָרָיוtsa/RAYVhis adversariesוּמְשַׂנְאָיוu/me/san/AYVand those who hate himאֶגּוֹף׃eg/GOFI will strike down

    And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him.

25. 25

    וֶאֱמוּנָתִיve/e/mu/na/TIand My faithfulnessוְחַסְדִּיve/chas/DIand My kindnessעִמּוֹim/MOare with himוּבִשְׁמִיu/vish/MIand in My nameתָּרוּםta/RUMshall be exaltedקַרְנוֹ׃kar/NOhis horn

    But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted.

26. 26

    וְשַׂמְתִּיve/sam/TIand I will setבַיָּםvay/YAMon the seaיָדוֹya/DOhis handוּבַנְּהָרוֹתu/van/ne/ha/ROTand on the riversיְמִינוֹ׃ye/mi/NOhis right hand

    I will set his hand also in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers.

27. 27

    הוּאhuheיִקְרָאֵנִיyik/ra/E/nishall cry to MeאָבִיA/VImy FatherאָתָּהAT/taYou areאֵלִיe/LImy Godוְצוּרve/TSURand the rock ofיְשׁוּעָתִי׃ye/shu/a/TImy salvation

    He shall cry unto me, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.

28. 28

    אַף־אָנִיaf-A/niI alsoבְּכוֹרbe/KHORfirstbornאֶתְּנֵהוּet/te/NE/huI will make himעֶלְיוֹןel/YONthe highestלְמַלְכֵי־אָרֶץ׃le/mal/KHE-A/retsthan the kings of the earth

    Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.

29. 29

    לְעוֹלָםle/o/LAMforever[אֶשְׁמׇר־]לוֹesh/MOR-loI will keep for himחַסְדִּיchas/DIMy kindnessוּבְרִיתִיu/ve/ri/TIand My covenantנֶאֱמֶנֶתne/e/ME/netshall be firmלוֹ׃lowith him

    My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him.

30. 30

    וְשַׂמְתִּיve/sam/TIand I will establishלָעַדla/ADforeverזַרְעוֹzar/Ohis offspringוְכִסְאוֹve/khis/Oand his throneכִּימֵיki/MEas the days ofשָׁמָיִם׃sha/MA/yimheaven

    His seed also will I make to endure for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.

31. 31

    אִם־יַעַזְבוּim-ya/az/VUif they shall forsakeבָנָיוva/NAYVhis sonsתּוֹרָתִיto/ra/TIMy lawוּבְמִשְׁפָּטַיu/ve/mish/pa/TAYand in My ordinancesלֹאlonotיֵלֵכוּן׃ye/le/KHUNwalk

    If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments;

32. 32

    אִם־חֻקֹּתַיim-chuk/ko/TAYif My statutesיְחַלֵּלוּye/chal/LE/luthey profaneוּמִצְוֺתַיu/mits/vo/TAYand My commandmentsלֹאlonotיִשְׁמֹרוּ׃yish/MO/rudo they keep

    If they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments;

33. 33

    וּפָקַדְתִּיu/fa/kad/TIthen I will punishבְשֵׁבֶטve/SHE/vetwith a rodפִּשְׁעָםpish/AMtheir transgressionוּבִנְגָעִיםu/vin/ga/IMand with plaguesעֲוֺנָם׃a/vo/NAMtheir iniquity

    Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.

34. 34

    וְחַסְדִּיve/chas/DIbut My kindnessלֹא־אָפִירlo-a/FIRI will not break offמֵעִמּוֹme/im/MOfrom himוְלֹא־אֲשַׁקֵּרve/LO-a/shak/KERnor be false toבֶּאֱמוּנָתִי׃be/e/mu/na/TIMy faithfulness

    Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail.

35. 35

    לֹא־אֲחַלֵּלlo-a/chal/LELI will not breakבְּרִיתִיbe/ri/TIMy covenantוּמוֹצָאu/mo/TSAand what goes out ofשְׂפָתַיse/fa/TAYMy lipsלֹאlonotאֲשַׁנֶּה׃a/shan/NEwill I alter

    My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.

36. 36

    אַחַתa/CHATonceנִשְׁבַּעְתִּיnish/BA/tihave I swornבְקׇדְשִׁיve/kod/SHIby My holinessאִם־לְדָוִדim-Le/da/VIDif to Davidאֲכַזֵּב׃a/khaz/ZEVI lie

    Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David.

37. 37

    זַרְעוֹzar/Ohis seedלְעוֹלָםle/o/LAMforeverיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall beוְכִסְאוֹve/khis/Oand his throneכַשֶּׁמֶשׁkhash/SHE/meshas the sunנֶגְדִּי׃neg/DIbefore Me

    His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me.

38. 38

    כְּיָרֵחַke/ya/RE/achas the moonיִכּוֹןyik/KONit shall be establishedעוֹלָםo/LAMforeverוְעֵדve/EDand a witnessבַּשַּׁחַקbash/SHA/chakin the skyנֶאֱמָןne/e/MANfaithfulסֶלָה׃SE/laSelah

    It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah.

39. 39

    וְאַתָּהve/at/TAbut Youזָנַחְתָּza/NACH/tahave rejectedוַתִּמְאָסvat/tim/ASand despisedהִתְעַבַּרְתָּhit/ab/BAR/taYou have been furiousעִם־מְשִׁיחֶךָ׃im-me/shi/CHE/khawith Your anointed

    But thou hast cast off and abhorred, thou hast been wroth with thine anointed.

40. 40

    נֵאַרְתָּהne/ar/TAYou have spurnedבְּרִיתbe/RITthe covenant ofעַבְדֶּךָav/DE/khaYour servantחִלַּלְתָּchil/LAL/taYou have defiledלָאָרֶץla/A/retsto the groundנִזְרוֹ׃niz/ROhis crown

    Thou hast made void the covenant of thy servant: thou hast profaned his crown by casting it to the ground.

41. 41

    פָּרַצְתָּpa/RATS/taYou have broken downכׇל־גְּדֵרֹתָיוkhol-ge/de/ro/TAYVall his wallsשַׂמְתָּSAM/taYou have madeמִבְצָרָיוmiv/tsa/RAYVhis strongholdsמְחִתָּה׃me/chit/TAto ruin

    Thou hast broken down all his hedges; thou hast brought his strong holds to ruin.

42. 42

    שַׁסֻּהוּshas/su/HUplunder himכׇּל־עֹבְרֵיkol-OV/reall who pass byדָרֶךְDA/rekhthe wayהָיָהha/YAhe has becomeחֶרְפָּהcher/PAa reproachלִשְׁכֵנָיו׃lish/khe/NAYVto his neighbors

    All that pass by the way spoil him: he is a reproach to his neighbours.

43. 43

    הֲרִימוֹתָha/ri/MO/taYou have exaltedיְמִיןye/MINthe right hand ofצָרָיוtsa/RAYVhis adversariesהִשְׂמַחְתָּhis/MACH/taYou have made rejoiceכׇּל־אוֹיְבָיו׃kol-oy/VAYVall his enemies

    Thou hast set up the right hand of his adversaries; thou hast made all his enemies to rejoice.

44. 44

    אַף־תָּשִׁיבaf-ta/SHIValso You turn backצוּרtsurthe edge ofחַרְבּוֹchar/BOhis swordוְלֹאve/LOand notהֲקֵימֹתוֹha/ke/mo/TOhave You sustained himבַּמִּלְחָמָה׃bam/mil/cha/MAin the battle

    Thou hast also turned the edge of his sword, and hast not made him to stand in the battle.

45. 45

    הִשְׁבַּתָּhish/BAT/taYou have endedמִטְּהָרוֹmit/te/ha/ROhis splendorוְכִסְאוֹve/khis/Oand his throneלָאָרֶץla/A/retsto the groundמִגַּרְתָּה׃mig/GAR/taYou have cast down

    Thou hast made his glory to cease, and cast his throne down to the ground.

46. 46

    הִקְצַרְתָּhik/tsar/TAYou have shortenedיְמֵיye/MEthe days ofעֲלוּמָיוa/lu/MAYVhis youthהֶעֱטִיתָhe/e/TI/taYou have wrappedעָלָיוa/LAYVhimבּוּשָׁהbu/SHAwith shameסֶלָה׃SE/laSelah

    The days of his youth hast thou shortened: thou hast covered him with shame. Selah.

47. 47

    עַד־מָהad-mahow longיְהֹוָהAdonaiO LORDתִּסָּתֵרtis/sa/TERwill You hide Yourselfלָנֶצַחla/NE/tsachforeverתִּבְעַרtiv/ARshall burnכְּמוֹ־אֵשׁke/MO-eshlike fireחֲמָתֶךָ׃cha/ma/TE/khaYour wrath

    How long, LORD? wilt thou hide thyself for ever? shall thy wrath burn like fire?

48. 48

    זְכׇר־אֲנִיze/KHOR-a/NIremember Iמֶה־חָלֶדme-CHA/ledwhat my lifetime isעַל־מַה־שָּׁוְאal-ma-shavfor what vanityבָּרָאתָba/RA/tahave You createdכׇל־בְּנֵי־אָדָם׃khol-be/NE-a/DAMall the sons of men

    Remember how short my time is: wherefore hast thou made all men in vain?

49. 49

    מִיmiwhoגֶבֶרGE/vera manיִחְיֶהyich/YEwho livesוְלֹאve/LOand notיִרְאֶה־מָּוֶתyir/E-MA/vetshall see deathיְמַלֵּטye/mal/LETcan he deliverנַפְשׁוֹnaf/SHOhis soulמִיַּד־שְׁאוֹלmiy/YAD-she/OLfrom the power of Sheolסֶלָה׃SE/laSelah

    What man is he that liveth, and shall not see death? shall he deliver his soul from the hand of the grave? Selah.

50. 50

    אַיֵּהay/YEwhere isחֲסָדֶיךָcha/sa/DE/khaYour kindnessesהָרִאשֹׁנִיםha/ri/sho/NIMthe formerאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYO Lordנִשְׁבַּעְתָּnish/BA/taYou sworeלְדָוִדle/Da/VIDto Davidבֶּאֱמוּנָתֶךָ׃be/e/mu/na/TE/khain Your faithfulness

    Lord, where are thy former lovingkindnesses, which thou swarest unto David in thy truth?

    זְכֹרze/KHORrememberאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYO Lordחֶרְפַּתcher/PATthe reproach ofעֲבָדֶיךָa/va/DE/khaYour servantsשְׂאֵתִיse/e/TIhow I bearבְחֵיקִיve/che/KIin my bosomכׇּל־רַבִּיםkol-rab/BIMall the manyעַמִּים׃am/MIMpeoples

    Remember, Lord, the reproach of thy servants; how I do bear in my bosom the reproach of all the mighty people;

52. 52

    אֲשֶׁרa/SHERwith whichחֵרְפוּcher/FUhave reproachedאוֹיְבֶיךָoy/VE/khaYour enemiesיְהֹוָהAdonaiO LORDאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwith whichחֵרְפוּcher/FUhave reproachedעִקְּבוֹתik/ke/VOTthe footprints ofמְשִׁיחֶךָ׃me/shi/CHE/khaYour anointed

    Wherewith thine enemies have reproached, O LORD; wherewith they have reproached the footsteps of thine anointed.

    בָּרוּךְba/RUKHblessed beיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDלְעוֹלָםle/o/LAMforeverאָמֵןa/MENamenוְאָמֵן׃ve/a/MENand amen

    Blessed be the LORD for evermore. Amen, and Amen.
