   A Psalm of Asaph. God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.

   עַד־מָתַיad-ma/TAYhow longתִּשְׁפְּטוּ־עָוֶלtish/pe/TU-A/velwill you judge unjustlyוּפְנֵיu/fe/NEand the faces ofרְשָׁעִיםre/sha/IMthe wickedתִּשְׂאוּ־סֶלָה׃tis/U-SE/lalift up Selah

   How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.

   שִׁפְטוּ־דַלshif/TU-daljudge the poorוְיָתוֹםve/ya/TOMand the fatherlessעָנִיa/NIthe afflictedוָרָשׁva/RASHand needyהַצְדִּיקוּ׃hats/DI/kuvindicate

   Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.

   פַּלְּטוּ־דַלpal/le/TU-daldeliver the poorוְאֶבְיוֹןve/ev/YONand needyמִיַּדmiy/YADfrom the hand ofרְשָׁעִיםre/sha/IMthe wickedהַצִּילוּ׃hats/TSI/ludeliver them

   Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.

   They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.

   I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

   אָכֵןa/KHENsurelyכְּאָדָםke/a/DAMlike manתְּמוּתוּןte/mu/TUNyou shall dieוּכְאַחַדu/khe/a/CHADand like one ofהַשָּׂרִיםhas/sa/RIMthe princesתִּפֹּלוּ׃tip/PO/luyou shall fall

   But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.

   קוּמָהku/MAariseאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMO Godשׇׁפְטָהshof/TAjudgeהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthכִּי־אַתָּהki-at/TAfor Youתִנְחַלtin/CHALwill inheritבְּכׇל־הַגּוֹיִם׃be/KHOL-hag/go/YIMall the nations

   Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.
