   To the chief Musician upon Gittith, A Psalm of David.

   יְהֹוָהAdonaiO LORDאֲדֹנֵינוּa/do/NE/nuour Lordמָה־אַדִּירma-ad/DIRhow excellentשִׁמְךָshim/KHAYour nameבְּכׇל־הָאָרֶץbe/KHOL-ha/A/retsin all the earthאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichתְּנָהte/NAYou have setהוֹדְךָhod/KHAYour gloryעַל־הַשָּׁמָיִם׃al-hash/sha/MA/yimabove the heavens

   O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.

   מִפִּיmip/PIfrom the mouth ofעוֹלְלִיםol/LIMchildrenוְיֹנְקִיםve/yon/KIMand nursing infantsיִסַּדְתָּyis/SAD/taYou have ordainedעֹזozstrengthלְמַעַןle/MA/anbecause ofצוֹרְרֶיךָtsor/RE/khaYour enemiesלְהַשְׁבִּיתle/hash/BITto stillאוֹיֵבo/YEVthe enemyוּמִתְנַקֵּם׃u/mit/nak/KEMand the avenger

   Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.

   כִּי־אֶרְאֶהki-er/Ewhen I beholdשָׁמֶיךָsha/ME/khaYour heavensמַעֲשֵׂהma/a/SEthe work ofאֶצְבְּעֹתֶיךָets/be/o/TE/khaYour fingersיָרֵחַya/RE/achthe moonוְכוֹכָבִיםve/kho/kha/VIMand the starsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichכּוֹנָנְתָּה׃ko/NAN/taYou have established

   When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;

   מָה־אֱנוֹשׁma-e/NOSHwhat is manכִּי־תִזְכְּרֶנּוּki-tiz/ke/REN/nuthat You remember himוּבֶן־אָדָםu/VEN-a/DAMand the son of manכִּיkithatתִפְקְדֶנּוּ׃tif/ke/DEN/nuYou visit him

   What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

   וַתְּחַסְּרֵהוּvat/te/chas/se/RE/huyet You have made him lowerמְּעַטme/ATa littleמֵאֱלֹהִיםme/e/lo/HIMthan the angelsוְכָבוֹדve/kha/VODand with gloryוְהָדָרve/ha/DARand honorתְּעַטְּרֵהוּ׃te/at/te/RE/huYou have crowned him

   For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.

   תַּמְשִׁילֵהוּtam/shi/le/HUYou make him ruleבְּמַעֲשֵׂיbe/ma/a/SEover the works ofיָדֶיךָya/DE/khaYour handsכֹּלkolallשַׁתָּהSHAT/taYou have putתַחַת־רַגְלָיו׃TA/chat-rag/LAYVunder his feet

   Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:

   צֹנֶהtso/NEsheepוַאֲלָפִיםva/a/la/FIMand oxenכֻּלָּםkul/LAMall of themוְגַםve/GAMand alsoבַּהֲמוֹתba/ha/MOTthe beasts ofשָׂדָי׃sa/DAYthe field

   All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;

   צִפּוֹרtsip/PORthe birds ofשָׁמַיִםsha/MA/yimthe skyוּדְגֵיu/de/GEand the fish ofהַיָּםhay/YAMthe seaעֹבֵרo/VERwhatever passes throughאׇרְחוֹתor/CHOTthe paths ofיַמִּים׃yam/MIMthe seas

   The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.

    O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!
