   To the chief Musician, to Jeduthun, A Psalm of Asaph.

   קוֹלִיko/LImy voiceאֶל־אֱלֹהִיםel-e/lo/HIMto Godוְאֶצְעָקָהve/ets/A/kaand I cryקוֹלִיko/LImy voiceאֶל־אֱלֹהִיםel-e/lo/HIMto Godוְהַאֲזִיןve/ha/a/ZINand He gave earאֵלָי׃e/LAYto me

   I cried unto God with my voice, even unto God with my voice; and he gave ear unto me.

   בְּיוֹםbe/YOMin the day ofצָרָתִיtsa/ra/TImy troubleאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe Lordדָּרָשְׁתִּיda/RASH/tiI soughtיָדִיya/DImy handלַיְלָהLAY/lain the nightנִגְּרָהnig/ge/RAwas stretched outוְלֹאve/LOand notתָפוּגta/FUGslackenמֵאֲנָהme/a/NArefusedהִנָּחֵםhin/na/CHEMto be comfortedנַפְשִׁי׃naf/SHImy soul

   In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: my sore ran in the night, and ceased not: my soul refused to be comforted.

   אֶזְכְּרָהez/ke/RAI rememberedאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodוְאֶהֱמָיָהve/e/he/ma/YAand I moanאָשִׂיחָהa/SI/chaI meditateוְתִתְעַטֵּףve/tit/at/TEFand grows faintרוּחִיru/CHImy spiritסֶלָה׃SE/laSelah

   I remembered God, and was troubled: I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. Selah.

   אָחַזְתָּa/CHAZ/taYou heldשְׁמֻרוֹתshe/mu/ROTthe eyelids ofעֵינָיe/NAYmy eyesנִפְעַמְתִּיnif/AM/tiI am so troubledוְלֹאve/LOand notאֲדַבֵּר׃a/dab/BERcan I speak

   Thou holdest mine eyes waking: I am so troubled that I cannot speak.

   חִשַּׁבְתִּיchish/SHAV/tiI have consideredיָמִיםya/MIMthe daysמִקֶּדֶםmik/KE/demof oldשְׁנוֹתshe/NOTthe years ofעוֹלָמִים׃o/la/MIMlong ago

   I have considered the days of old, the years of ancient times.

   אֶזְכְּרָהez/ke/RAI call to remembranceנְגִינָתִיne/gi/na/TImy songבַּלָּיְלָהbal/LAY/lain the nightעִם־לְבָבִיim-le/va/VIwith my heartאָשִׂיחָהa/SI/chaI meditateוַיְחַפֵּשׂvay/chap/PESand searchesרוּחִי׃ru/CHImy spirit

   I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with mine own heart: and my spirit made diligent search.

   הַלְעוֹלָמִיםhal/o/la/MIMforeverיִזְנַחyiz/NACHcast offאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe Lordוְלֹא־יֹסִיףve/LO-yo/SIFand will He not againלִרְצוֹתlir/TSOTshow favorעוֹד׃odagain

   Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more?

   הֶאָפֵסhe/a/FEShas ceasedלָנֶצַחla/NE/tsachforeverחַסְדּוֹchas/DOHis kindnessגָּמַרGA/marhas failedאֹמֶרO/merHis wordלְדֹרle/DORfrom generationוָדֹר׃va/DORto generation

   Is his mercy clean gone for ever? doth his promise fail for evermore?

10. 10

    הֲשָׁכַחha/sha/KHACHhas forgottenחַנּוֹתchan/NOTto be graciousאֵלelGodאִם־קָפַץim-ka/FATSor has He shut upבְּאַףbe/AFin angerרַחֲמָיוra/cha/MAYVHis compassionסֶלָה׃SE/laSelah

    Hath God forgotten to be gracious? hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah.

11. 11

    וָאֹמַרva/o/MARand I saidחַלּוֹתִיchal/LO/timy sicknessהִיאhithis isשְׁנוֹתshe/NOTthe years ofיְמִיןye/MINthe right hand ofעֶלְיוֹן׃El/YONthe Most High

    And I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High.

    (אזכיר)zakhayar[אֶזְכּוֹר]ez/KORI will rememberמַעַלְלֵי־יָהּma/al/LE-yathe deeds of the LORDכִּי־אֶזְכְּרָהki-ez/ke/RAyes I will rememberמִקֶּדֶםmik/KE/demof oldפִּלְאֶךָ׃pil/E/khaYour wonders

    I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old.

13. 13

    וְהָגִיתִיve/ha/GI/tiand I will meditateבְכׇל־פׇּעֳלֶךָve/KHOL-po/o/LE/khaon all Your workוּבַעֲלִילוֹתֶיךָu/va/a/li/lo/TE/khaand on Your doingsאָשִׂיחָה׃a/SI/chaI will meditate

    I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.

    אֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMO Godבַּקֹּדֶשׁbak/KO/deshin the sanctuaryדַּרְכֶּךָdar/KE/khaYour way isמִי־אֵלmi-elwho is a Godגָּדוֹלga/DOLso greatכֵּאלֹהִים׃ke/lo/HIMas our God

    Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?

15. 15

    אַתָּהat/TAYou areהָאֵלha/ELGodעֹשֵׂהo/SEwho doesפֶלֶאFE/lewondersהוֹדַעְתָּho/DA/taYou have made knownבָעַמִּיםva/am/MIMamong the peoplesעֻזֶּךָ׃uz/ZE/khaYour strength

    Thou art the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people.

    גָּאַלְתָּga/AL/taYou have redeemedבִּזְרוֹעַbiz/RO/awith Your armעַמֶּךָam/ME/khaYour peopleבְּנֵי־יַעֲקֹבbe/NE-ya/a/KOVthe sons of Jacobוְיוֹסֵףve/Yo/SEFand Josephסֶלָה׃SE/laSelah

    Thou hast with thine arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.

    רָאוּךָra/U/khasaw YouמַּיִםMA/yimthe watersאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMO Godרָאוּךָra/U/khasaw YouמַּיִםMA/yimthe watersיָחִילוּya/CHI/luthey writhedאַףafyesיִרְגְּזוּyir/ge/ZUthey trembledתְהֹמוֹת׃te/ho/MOTthe deeps

    The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled.

    זֹרְמוּZOR/mupoured outמַיִםMA/yimwaterעָבוֹתa/VOTthe cloudsקוֹלkola soundנָתְנוּna/te/NUgaveשְׁחָקִיםshe/cha/KIMthe skiesאַף־חֲצָצֶיךָaf-cha/tsa/TSE/khaYour arrows alsoיִתְהַלָּכוּ׃yit/hal/LA/khuflashed about

    The clouds poured out water: the skies sent out a sound: thine arrows also went abroad.

    קוֹלkolthe voice ofרַעַמְךָra/am/KHAYour thunderבַּגַּלְגַּלbag/gal/GALwas in the whirlwindהֵאִירוּhe/I/rulit upבְרָקִיםve/ra/KIMthe lightningsתֵּבֵלte/VELthe worldרָגְזָהRAG/zatrembledוַתִּרְעַשׁvat/tir/ASHand shookהָאָרֶץ׃ha/A/retsthe earth

    The voice of thy thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook.

20. 20

    בַּיָּםbay/YAMin the seaדַּרְכֶּךָdar/KE/khaYour way was[וּשְׁבִילְךָ]u/she/vi/le/KHAand Your pathבְּמַיִםbe/MA/yimin the watersרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyוְעִקְּבוֹתֶיךָve/ik/ke/vo/TE/khaand Your footstepsלֹאlonotנֹדָעוּ׃no/DA/uwere known

    Thy way is in the sea, and thy path in the great waters, and thy footsteps are not known.

    נָחִיתָna/CHI/taYou ledכַצֹּאןkhats/TSONlike a flockעַמֶּךָam/ME/khaYour peopleבְּיַד־מֹשֶׁהbe/YAD-mo/SHEin the hand of Mosesוְאַהֲרֹן׃ve/A/ha/RONand Aaron

    Thou leddest thy people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
