   נוֹדָעno/DAis knownבִּיהוּדָהbI/hu/DAin Judahאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodבְּיִשְׂרָאֵלbe/Yis/ra/ELin Israelגָּדוֹלga/DOLgreat isשְׁמוֹ׃she/MOHis name

   In Judah is God known: his name is great in Israel.

   וַיְהִיvay/HIand isבְשָׁלֵםve/Sha/LEMin Salemסוּכּוֹsuk/KOHis shelterוּמְעוֹנָתוֹu/me/o/na/TOand His dwelling placeבְצִיּוֹן׃ve/Tsiy/YONin Zion

   In Salem also is his tabernacle, and his dwelling place in Zion.

   שָׁמָּהSHAM/mathereשִׁבַּרshib/BARHe brokeרִשְׁפֵי־קָשֶׁתrish/FE-KA/shetthe flames of the bowמָגֵןma/GENthe shieldוְחֶרֶבve/CHE/revand the swordוּמִלְחָמָהu/mil/cha/MAand the battleסֶלָה׃SE/laSelah

   There brake he the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah.

   נָאוֹרna/ORgloriousאַתָּהat/TAYou areאַדִּירad/DIRmajesticמֵהַרְרֵי־טָרֶף׃me/har/RE-TA/reffrom the mountains of prey

   Thou art more glorious and excellent than the mountains of prey.

   אֶשְׁתּוֹלְלוּesh/tol/LUare strippedאַבִּירֵיab/BI/rethe stout ofלֵבlevheartנָמוּna/MUthey sleptשְׁנָתָםshe/na/TAMtheir sleepוְלֹא־מָצְאוּve/LO-ma/tse/Uand have not foundכׇל־אַנְשֵׁי־חַיִלkhol-an/SHE-CHA/yilall the men of mightיְדֵיהֶם׃ye/de/HEMtheir hands

   The stouthearted are spoiled, they have slept their sleep: and none of the men of might have found their hands.

   מִגַּעֲרָתְךָmig/ga/a/ra/te/KHAat Your rebukeאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe God ofיַעֲקֹבYa/a/KOVJacobנִרְדָּםnir/DAMare in deep sleepוְרֶכֶבve/RE/khevboth chariotוָסוּס׃va/SUSand horse

   At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, both the chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.

   אַתָּהat/TAYouנוֹרָאno/RAare awesomeאַתָּהat/TAYouוּמִי־יַעֲמֹדu/MI-ya/a/MODand who may standלְפָנֶיךָle/fa/NE/khabefore Youמֵאָזme/AZwhen onceאַפֶּךָ׃ap/PE/khaYou are angry

   Thou, even thou, art to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry?

   מִשָּׁמַיִםmish/sha/MA/yimfrom heavenהִשְׁמַעְתָּhish/MA/taYou caused to be heardדִּיןdinjudgmentאֶרֶץE/retsthe earthיָרְאָהya/re/Afearedוְשָׁקָטָה׃ve/sha/KA/taand was still

   Thou didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still,

    בְּקוּם־לַמִּשְׁפָּטbe/KUM-lam/mish/PATwhen arose to judgmentאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodלְהוֹשִׁיעַle/ho/SHI/ato saveכׇּל־עַנְוֵי־אֶרֶץkol-an/VE-E/retsall the meek of the earthסֶלָה׃SE/laSelah

    When God arose to judgment, to save all the meek of the earth. Selah.

11. 11

    כִּי־חֲמַתki-cha/MATsurely the wrath ofאָדָםa/DAMmanתּוֹדֶךָּto/DEK/kashall praise Youשְׁאֵרִיתshe/e/RITthe remainder ofחֵמֹתche/MOTwrathתַּחְגֹּר׃tach/GORYou will gird Yourself

    Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain.

    נִדְרוּnid/RUvowוְשַׁלְּמוּve/shal/le/MUand payלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDאֱלֹהֵיכֶםe/lo/he/KHEMyour Godכׇּל־סְבִיבָיוkol-se/vi/VAYVall around Himיֹבִילוּyo/VI/lubringשַׁיshaygiftsלַמּוֹרָא׃lam/Mo/RAto the Feared One

    Vow, and pay unto the LORD your God: let all that be round about him bring presents unto him that ought to be feared.

    יִבְצֹרyiv/TSORHe cuts offרוּחַRU/achthe spirit ofנְגִידִיםne/gi/DIMprincesנוֹרָאno/RAHe is awesomeלְמַלְכֵי־אָרֶץ׃le/mal/KHE-A/retsto the kings of the earth

    He shall cut off the spirit of princes: he is terrible to the kings of the earth.
