   To the chief Musician, Al-taschith, A Psalm or Song of Asaph.

   הוֹדִינוּho/DI/nuwe give thanksלְּךָle/KHAto Youאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMO Godהוֹדִינוּho/DI/nuwe give thanksוְקָרוֹבve/ka/ROVfor near isשְׁמֶךָshe/ME/khaYour nameסִפְּרוּsip/pe/RUthey tell ofנִפְלְאוֹתֶיךָ׃nif/le/o/TE/khaYour marvelous works

   Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.

   כִּיkiwhenאֶקַּחek/KACHI takeמוֹעֵדmo/EDthe appointed timeאֲנִיa/NIIמֵישָׁרִיםme/sha/RIMwith equityאֶשְׁפֹּט׃esh/POTwill judge

   When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly.

   נְמֹגִיםne/mo/GIMmeltאֶרֶץE/retsthe earthוְכׇל־יֹשְׁבֶיהָve/KHOL-yosh/VE/haand all its inhabitantsאָנֹכִיa/no/KHIit is I whoתִכַּנְתִּיtik/KAN/tiI steadyעַמּוּדֶיהָam/mu/DE/haits pillarsסֶּלָה׃SE/laSelah

   The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah.

   אָמַרְתִּיa/MAR/tiI saidלַהוֹלְלִיםla/hol/LIMto the arrogantאַל־תָּהֹלּוּal-ta/HOL/ludo not boastוְלָרְשָׁעִיםve/la/re/sha/IMand to the wickedאַל־תָּרִימוּal-ta/RI/mulift not upקָרֶן׃KA/renthe horn

   I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:

   אַל־תָּרִימוּal-ta/RI/mulift not upלַמָּרוֹםlam/ma/ROMon highקַרְנְכֶםkar/ne/KHEMyour hornתְּדַבְּרוּte/dab/be/RUspeakבְצַוָּארve/tsav/VARwith a stiff neckעָתָק׃a/TAKarrogantly

   Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.

   כִּיkiforלֹאlonotמִמּוֹצָאmim/mo/TSAfrom the eastוּמִמַּעֲרָבu/mim/ma/a/RAVnor from the westוְלֹאve/LOand notמִמִּדְבַּרmim/mid/BARfrom the wildernessהָרִים׃ha/RIMcomes lifting up

   For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.

   כִּי־אֱלֹהִיםki-e/lo/HIMbecause Godשֹׁפֵטsho/FETis judgeזֶהzeoneיַשְׁפִּילyash/PILHe puts downוְזֶהve/ZEand anotherיָרִים׃ya/RIMHe lifts up

   But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

   כִּיkiforכוֹסkhosa cup isבְּיַד־יְהֹוָהbe/YAD-Adonaiin the hand of the LORDוְיַיִןve/YA/yinand the wineחָמַרcha/MARfoamsמָלֵאma/LEis full ofמֶסֶךְME/sekhmixtureוַיַּגֵּרvay/yag/GERand He pours outמִזֶּהmiz/ZEfrom thisאַךְ־שְׁמָרֶיהָakh-she/ma/re/HAbut its dregsיִמְצוּyim/TSUshall drainיִשְׁתּוּyish/TUand drinkכֹּלkolallרִשְׁעֵי־אָרֶץ׃rish/E-A/retsthe wicked of the earth

   For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.

    וַאֲנִיva/a/NIbut Iאַגִּידag/GIDwill declareלְעֹלָםle/o/LAMfor everאֲזַמְּרָהa/zam/me/RAI will sing praisesלֵאלֹהֵיle/lo/HEto the God ofיַעֲקֹב׃Ya/a/KOVJacob

    But I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

11. 11

    וְכׇל־קַרְנֵיve/KHOL-kar/NEand all the horns ofרְשָׁעִיםre/sha/IMthe wickedאֲגַדֵּעַa/gad/DE/awill I cut offתְּרוֹמַמְנָהte/ro/MAM/nashall be lifted upקַרְנוֹתkar/NOTthe horns ofצַדִּיק׃tsad/DIKthe righteous

    All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
