   A Psalm for Solomon. Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king's son.

   יָדִיןya/DINmay he judgeעַמְּךָam/me/KHAYour peopleבְצֶדֶקve/TSE/dekin righteousnessוַעֲנִיֶּיךָva/a/niy/YE/khaand Your poorבְמִשְׁפָּט׃ve/mish/PATwith justice

   He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment.

   יִשְׂאוּyis/Ulet bringהָרִיםha/RIMthe mountainsשָׁלוֹםsha/LOMpeaceלָעָםla/AMto the peopleוּגְבָעוֹתu/ge/va/OTand the hillsבִּצְדָקָה׃bits/da/KAin righteousness

   The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness.

   יִשְׁפֹּטyish/POTmay he judgeעֲנִיֵּי־עָםa/niy/YE-amthe poor of the peopleיוֹשִׁיעַyo/SHI/ahe shall saveלִבְנֵיliv/NEthe children ofאֶבְיוֹןev/YONthe needyוִידַכֵּאvi/dak/KEand crushעוֹשֵׁק׃o/SHEKthe oppressor

   He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.

   יִירָאוּךָyi/ra/U/khathey shall fear Youעִם־שָׁמֶשׁim-SHA/meshwith the sunוְלִפְנֵיve/lif/NEand beforeיָרֵחַya/RE/achthe moonדּוֹרdorgenerationדּוֹרִים׃do/RIMof generations

   They shall fear thee as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations.

   יֵרֵדye/REDhe shall come downכְּמָטָרke/ma/TARlike rainעַל־גֵּזal-gezupon the mown grassכִּרְבִיבִיםkir/vi/VIMas showersזַרְזִיףzar/ZIFwateringאָרֶץ׃A/retsthe earth

   He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.

   יִפְרַח־בְּיָמָיוyif/RACH-be/ya/MAYVin his days shall flourishצַדִּיקtsad/DIKthe righteousוְרֹבve/ROVand abundance ofשָׁלוֹםsha/LOMpeaceעַד־בְּלִיad-be/LIuntil is no moreיָרֵחַ׃ya/RE/achthe moon

   In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth.

8. 8

   וְיֵרְדְּve/YERDand may he ruleמִיָּםmiy/YAMfrom seaעַד־יָםad-yamto seaוּמִנָּהָרu/min/na/HARand from the riverעַד־אַפְסֵי־אָרֶץ׃ad-af/SE-A/retsto the ends of the earth

   He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.

   לְפָנָיוle/fa/NAYVbefore himיִכְרְעוּyikh/re/Ushall bowצִיִּיםtsiy/YIMdesert dwellersוְאֹיְבָיוve/oy/VAYVand his enemiesעָפָרa/FARdustיְלַחֵכוּ׃ye/la/CHE/khushall lick

   They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust.

    מַלְכֵיmal/KHEkings ofתַרְשִׁישׁTar/SHISHTarshishוְאִיִּיםve/iy/YIMand of the islesמִנְחָהmin/CHAtributeיָשִׁיבוּya/SHI/vushall bringמַלְכֵיmal/KHEkings ofשְׁבָאShe/VAShebaוּסְבָאu/Se/VAand Sebaאֶשְׁכָּרesh/KARgiftsיַקְרִיבוּ׃yak/RI/vushall offer

    The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.

11. 11

    וְיִשְׁתַּחֲווּ־לוֹve/yish/ta/cha/VU-loand shall bow down to himכׇל־מְלָכִיםkhol-me/la/KHIMall kingsכׇּל־גּוֹיִםkol-go/YIMall nationsיַעַבְדוּהוּ׃ya/av/DU/hushall serve him

    Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him.

12. 12

    כִּי־יַצִּילki-yats/TSILfor he shall deliverאֶבְיוֹןev/YONthe needyמְשַׁוֵּעַme/shav/VE/awho cries for helpוְעָנִיve/a/NIand the poorוְאֵין־עֹזֵרve/EN-o/ZERand there is no helperלוֹ׃lofor him

    For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper.

13. 13

    יָחֹסya/CHOShe will have pityעַל־דַּלal-dalthe poorוְאֶבְיוֹןve/ev/YONand needyוְנַפְשׁוֹתve/naf/SHOTand the souls ofאֶבְיוֹנִיםev/yo/NIMthe needyיוֹשִׁיעַ׃yo/SHI/ahe shall save

    He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy.

14. 14

    מִתּוֹךְmit/TOKHfrom oppressionוּמֵחָמָסu/me/cha/MASand from violenceיִגְאַלyig/ALhe shall redeemנַפְשָׁםnaf/SHAMtheir soulוְיֵיקַרve/ye/KARand precious shall beדָּמָםda/MAMtheir bloodבְּעֵינָיו׃be/e/NAYVin his eyes

    He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight.

15. 15

    וִיחִיvi/CHIand he shall liveוְיִתֶּן־לוֹve/yit/TEN-loand may there be given to himמִזְּהַבmiz/ze/HAVfrom the gold ofשְׁבָאShe/VAShebaוְיִתְפַּלֵּלve/yit/pal/LELand may prayer be madeבַּעֲדוֹba/a/DOfor himתָמִידta/MIDcontinuallyכׇּל־הַיּוֹםkol-hay/YOMall the dayיְבָרְכֶנְהוּ׃ye/va/re/khen/HUmay he be blessed

    And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: prayer also shall be made for him continually; and daily shall he be praised.

    יְהִיye/HImay there beפִסַּת־בַּרfis/SAT-baran abundance of grainבָּאָרֶץba/A/retsin the landבְּרֹאשׁbe/ROSHon the top ofהָרִיםha/RIMmountainsיִרְעַשׁyir/ASHmay waveכַּלְּבָנוֹןkal/Le/va/NONlike Lebanonפִּרְיוֹpir/YOits fruitוְיָצִיצוּve/ya/TSI/tsuand they shall blossomמֵעִירme/IRfrom the cityכְּעֵשֶׂבke/E/sevlike the grass ofהָאָרֶץ׃ha/A/retsthe earth

    There shall be an handful of corn in the earth upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: and they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.

17. 17

    יְהִיye/HImay beשְׁמוֹshe/MOhis nameלְעוֹלָםle/o/LAMforeverלִפְנֵי־שֶׁמֶשׁlif/NE-SHE/meshas long as the sun[יִנּוֹן]yin/NONmay continueשְׁמוֹshe/MOhis nameוְיִתְבָּרְכוּve/yit/BAR/khuand may be blessedבוֹvoin himכׇּל־גּוֹיִםkol-go/YIMall nationsיְאַשְּׁרוּהוּ׃ye/ash/she/RU/hushall call him blessed

    His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.

18. 18

    בָּרוּךְba/RUKHblessed beיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe God ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelעֹשֵׂהo/SEwho doesנִפְלָאוֹתnif/la/OTwondersלְבַדּוֹ׃le/vad/DOalone

    Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things.

19. 19

    וּבָרוּךְu/va/RUKHand blessed beשֵׁםshemthe name ofכְּבוֹדוֹke/vo/DOHis gloryלְעוֹלָםle/o/LAMforeverוְיִמָּלֵאve/yim/ma/LEand let be filledכְבוֹדוֹkhe/vo/DOHis gloryאֶת־כֹּלet-kolthe whole ofהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthאָמֵןa/MENamenוְאָמֵן׃ve/a/MENand amen

    And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.
