    בְּךָ־יְהֹוָהbe/KHA-Adonaiin You O LORDחָסִיתִיcha/SI/tiI take refugeאַל־אֵבוֹשָׁהal-e/VO/shalet me not be ashamedלְעוֹלָם׃le/o/LAMforever

    In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.

    בְּצִדְקָתְךָbe/tsid/ka/te/KHAin Your righteousnessתַּצִּילֵנִיtats/tsi/LE/nideliver meוּתְפַלְּטֵנִיu/te/fal/le/TE/niand rescue meהַטֵּה־אֵלַיhat/TE-e/LAYincline to meאׇזְנְךָoz/ne/KHAYour earוְהוֹשִׁיעֵנִי׃ve/ho/shi/E/niand save me

    Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline thine ear unto me, and save me.

    הֱיֵהhe/YEbe Youלִיlito meלְצוּרle/TSURa rock ofמָעוֹןma/ONa dwellingלָבוֹאla/VOto come toתָּמִידta/MIDcontinuallyצִוִּיתָtsiv/VI/taYou have commandedלְהוֹשִׁיעֵנִיle/ho/shi/E/nito save meכִּי־סַלְעִיki-sal/Ifor my rockוּמְצוּדָתִיu/me/tsu/da/TIand my fortressאָתָּה׃AT/taYou are

    Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.

    אֱלֹהַיe/lo/HAYO my Godפַּלְּטֵנִיpal/le/te/NIdeliver meמִיַּדmiy/YADfrom the hand ofרָשָׁעra/SHAthe wickedמִכַּףmik/KAFout of the hand ofמְעַוֵּלme/av/VELthe unjustוְחוֹמֵץ׃ve/cho/METSand ruthless

    Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.

    כִּי־אַתָּהki-at/TAfor You areתִקְוָתִיtik/va/TImy hopeאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYO LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODמִבְטַחִיmiv/ta/CHImy trustמִנְּעוּרָי׃min/ne/u/RAYfrom my youth

    For thou art my hope, O Lord GOD: thou art my trust from my youth.

    עָלֶיךָa/LE/khaupon Youנִסְמַכְתִּיnis/MAKH/tiI have leanedמִבֶּטֶןmib/BE/tenfrom the wombמִמְּעֵיmim/me/Eout of the womb ofאִמִּיim/MImy motherאַתָּהat/TAYou areגוֹזִיgo/ZIwho took me outבְּךָbe/KHAin Youתְהִלָּתִיte/hil/la/TIis my praiseתָמִיד׃ta/MIDcontinually

    By thee have I been holden up from the womb: thou art he that took me out of my mother's bowels: my praise shall be continually of thee.

    כְּמוֹפֵתke/mo/FETas a portentהָיִיתִיha/YI/tiI amלְרַבִּיםle/rab/BIMto manyוְאַתָּהve/at/TAbut You areמַחֲסִי־עֹז׃ma/cha/SI-ozmy strong refuge

    I am as a wonder unto many; but thou art my strong refuge.

    יִמָּלֵאyim/MA/lelet be filledפִיfimy mouthתְּהִלָּתֶךָte/hil/la/TE/khawith Your praiseכׇּל־הַיּוֹםkol-hay/YOMall the dayתִּפְאַרְתֶּךָ׃tif/ar/TE/khawith Your glory

    Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honour all the day.

    אַל־תַּשְׁלִיכֵנִיal-tash/li/KHE/nido not cast me offלְעֵתle/ETin the time ofזִקְנָהzik/NAold ageכִּכְלוֹתkikh/LOTwhen failsכֹּחִיko/CHImy strengthאַל־תַּעַזְבֵנִי׃al-ta/az/VE/nido not forsake me

    Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth.

    כִּי־אָמְרוּki-a/me/RUfor sayאוֹיְבַיoy/VAYmy enemiesלִיliabout meוְשֹׁמְרֵיve/shom/REand those who watchנַפְשִׁיnaf/SHImy soulנוֹעֲצוּno/a/TSUtake counselיַחְדָּו׃yach/DAVtogether

    For mine enemies speak against me; and they that lay wait for my soul take counsel together,

    לֵאמֹרle/MORsayingאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodעֲזָבוֹa/za/VOhas forsaken himרִדְפוּrid/FUpursueוְתִפְשׂוּהוּve/tif/SU/huand seize himכִּי־אֵיןki-enfor there is noneמַצִּיל׃mats/TSILto deliver

    Saying, God hath forsaken him: persecute and take him; for there is none to deliver him.

    אֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMO Godאַל־תִּרְחַקal-tir/CHAKdo not be farמִמֶּנִּיmim/MEN/nifrom meאֱלֹהַיe/lo/HAYO my Godלְעֶזְרָתִיle/ez/RA/tito my help[חוּשָׁה]׃CHU/shamake haste

    O God, be not far from me: O my God, make haste for my help.

    יֵבֹשׁוּye/VO/shulet be ashamedיִכְלוּyikh/LUlet be consumedשֹׂטְנֵיsot/NEthe accusers ofנַפְשִׁיnaf/SHImy soulיַעֲטוּya/a/TUlet be wrapped inחֶרְפָּהcher/PAreproachוּכְלִמָּהu/khe/lim/MAand disgraceמְבַקְשֵׁיme/vak/SHEthose who seekרָעָתִי׃ra/a/TImy hurt

    Let them be confounded and consumed that are adversaries to my soul; let them be covered with reproach and dishonour that seek my hurt.

    וַאֲנִיva/a/NIbut Iתָּמִידta/MIDcontinuallyאֲיַחֵלa/ya/CHELwill hopeוְהוֹסַפְתִּיve/ho/SAF/tiand will addעַל־כׇּל־תְּהִלָּתֶךָ׃al-kol-te/hil/la/TE/khato all Your praise

    But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more.

    פִּיpimy mouthיְסַפֵּרye/sap/PERshall tell ofצִדְקָתֶךָtsid/ka/TE/khaYour righteousnessכׇּל־הַיּוֹםkol-hay/YOMall the dayתְּשׁוּעָתֶךָte/shu/a/TE/khaYour salvationכִּיkiforלֹאlonotיָדַעְתִּיya/DA/tido I knowסְפֹרוֹת׃se/fo/ROTtheir numbers

    My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof.

    אָבוֹאa/VOI will comeבִּגְבֻרוֹתbig/vu/ROTwith the mighty deeds ofאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODאַזְכִּירaz/KIRI will make mention ofצִדְקָתְךָtsid/ka/te/KHAYour righteousnessלְבַדֶּךָ׃le/vad/DE/khaYours alone

    I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.

    אֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMO Godלִמַּדְתַּנִיlim/mad/TA/niYou have taught meמִנְּעוּרָיmin/ne/u/RAYfrom my youthוְעַד־הֵנָּהve/AD-HEN/naand until nowאַגִּידag/GIDI declareנִפְלְאוֹתֶיךָ׃nif/le/o/TE/khaYour wondrous works

    O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works.

    וְגַםve/GAMand alsoעַד־זִקְנָהad-zik/NAuntil old ageוְשֵׂיבָהve/se/VAand gray hairאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMO Godאַל־תַּעַזְבֵנִיal-ta/az/VE/nido not forsake meעַד־אַגִּידad-ag/GIDuntil I have declaredזְרוֹעֲךָze/ro/a/KHAYour armלְדוֹרle/DORto the generationלְכׇל־יָבוֹאle/KHOL-ya/VOto everyone who is to comeגְּבוּרָתֶךָ׃ge/vu/ra/TE/khaYour might

    Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come.

    וְצִדְקָתְךָve/tsid/ka/te/KHAand Your righteousnessאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMO Godעַד־מָרוֹםad-ma/ROMreaches the heightsאֲשֶׁר־עָשִׂיתָa/SHER-a/SI/taYou who have doneגְדֹלוֹתge/do/LOTgreat thingsאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMO Godמִיmiwhoכָמוֹךָ׃kha/MO/khais like You

    Thy righteousness also, O God, is very high, who hast done great things: O God, who is like unto thee!

  20. 20

    אֲשֶׁרa/SHERYou who(הראיתנו)haryatanav[הִרְאִיתַנִי]hir/i/ta/NIhave shown meצָרוֹתtsa/ROTtroublesרַבּוֹתrab/BOTmanyוְרָעוֹתve/ra/OTand evilsתָּשׁוּבta/SHUVYou will again(תחינו)tachayanav[תְּחַיֵּנִי]te/chay/YE/nirevive meוּמִתְּהֹמוֹתu/mit/te/ho/MOTand from the depths ofהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthתָּשׁוּבta/SHUVYou will againתַּעֲלֵנִי׃ta/a/LE/nibring me up

    Thou, which hast shewed me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth.

  21. 21

    תֶּרֶבTE/revYou will increaseגְּדֻלָּתִיge/dul/la/TImy greatnessוְתִסֹּבve/tis/SOVand turnתְּנַחֲמֵנִי׃te/na/cha/ME/nicomfort me

    Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.

    גַּם־אֲנִיgam-a/NII alsoאוֹדְךָod/KHAI will praise Youבִכְלִי־נֶבֶלvikh/LI-NE/velwith the harpאֲמִתְּךָa/mit/te/KHAYour truthאֱלֹהָיe/lo/HAYO my Godאֲזַמְּרָהa/zam/me/RAI will sing praisesלְךָle/KHAto Youבְכִנּוֹרve/khin/NORwith the lyreקְדוֹשׁKe/DOSHO Holy One ofיִשְׂרָאֵל׃Yis/ra/ELIsrael

    I will also praise thee with the psaltery, even thy truth, O my God: unto thee will I sing with the harp, O thou Holy One of Israel.

    תְּרַנֵּנָּהte/ran/nen/NAshall shout for joyשְׂפָתַיse/fa/TAYmy lipsכִּיkibecauseאֲזַמְּרָה־לָּךְa/zam/me/RA-lakhI sing praises to Youוְנַפְשִׁיve/naf/SHIand my soulאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichפָּדִיתָ׃pa/DI/taYou have redeemed

    My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed.

    גַּם־לְשׁוֹנִיgam-le/sho/NImy tongue alsoכׇּל־הַיּוֹםkol-hay/YOMall the dayתֶּהְגֶּהteh/GEshall speak ofצִדְקָתֶךָtsid/ka/TE/khaYour righteousnessכִּי־בֹשׁוּki-VO/shufor are ashamedכִי־חָפְרוּkhi-cha/fe/RUfor are confoundedמְבַקְשֵׁיme/vak/SHEthose who seekרָעָתִי׃ra/a/TImy hurt

    My tongue also shall talk of thy righteousness all the day long: for they are confounded, for they are brought unto shame, that seek my hurt.
