   לַמְנַצֵּחַto the chief musicianלְדָוִדof Davidלְהַזְכִּיר׃to bring to remembrance

   To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, to bring to remembrance.

2. 2

   אֱלֹהִיםO Godלְהַצִּילֵנִיto deliver meיְהֹוָהO LORDלְעֶזְרָתִיto my helpחוּשָׁה׃make haste

   Make haste, O God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O LORD.

3. 3

   יֵבֹשׁוּlet be ashamedוְיַחְפְּרוּand confoundedמְבַקְשֵׁיwho seekנַפְשִׁיmy soulיִסֹּגוּmay they be turned backאָחוֹרbackוְיִכָּלְמוּand put to shameחֲפֵצֵיwho delight inרָעָתִי׃my hurt

   Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.

   יָשׁוּבוּlet them be turned backעַל־עֵקֶבbecause ofבׇּשְׁתָּםtheir shameהָאֹמְרִיםwho sayהֶאָחaha!הֶאָח׃aha!

   Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.

   יָשִׂישׂוּlet them rejoiceוְיִשְׂמְחוּand be gladבְּךָin Youכׇּל־מְבַקְשֶׁיךָall those who seek Youוְיֹאמְרוּand let them sayתָמִידcontinuallyיִגְדַּלlet be magnifiedאֱלֹהִיםGodאֹהֲבֵיthose who loveיְשׁוּעָתֶךָ׃Your salvation

   Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.

   וַאֲנִיand Iעָנִיam poorוְאֶבְיוֹןand needyאֱלֹהִיםO Godחוּשָׁה־לִּיmake haste to meעֶזְרִיmy helpוּמְפַלְטִיand my delivererאַתָּהYou areיְהֹוָהO LORDאַל־תְּאַחַר׃do not delay

   But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.
