   Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him.

   As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.

   But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.

   Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name Jah, and rejoice before him.

   אֲבִיa/VIa father ofיְתוֹמִיםye/to/MIMthe fatherlessוְדַיַּןve/day/YANand a judge ofאַלְמָנוֹתal/ma/NOTwidowsאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodבִּמְעוֹןbim/ONis in the habitation ofקׇדְשׁוֹ׃kod/SHOHis holiness

   A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.

   God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.

   O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah:

   אֶרֶץE/retsthe earthרָעָשָׁהra/A/shashookאַף־שָׁמַיִםaf-sha/MA/yimthe heavens alsoנָטְפוּNAT/fudroppedמִפְּנֵיmip/pe/NEbecause ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodזֶהzethisסִינַיSi/NAYSinaiמִפְּנֵיmip/pe/NEbecause ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe God ofיִשְׂרָאֵל׃Yis/ra/ELIsrael

   The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel.

    Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary.

    חַיָּתְךָchay/ya/te/KHAYour flockיָשְׁבוּ־בָהּya/she/VU-vadwelt in itתָּכִין־בְּטוֹבָתְךָta/KHIN-be/to/va/te/KHAYou provided in Your goodnessלֶעָנִיle/a/NIfor the poorאֱלֹהִים׃e/lo/HIMO God

    Thy congregation hath dwelt therein: thou, O God, hast prepared of thy goodness for the poor.

    אֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe Lordיִתֶּן־אֹמֶרyit/TEN-O/mergives the wordהַמְבַשְּׂרוֹתham/vas/se/ROTthe women who proclaimצָבָאtsa/VAare a hostרָב׃ravgreat

    The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.

    מַלְכֵיmal/KHEkings ofצְבָאוֹתtse/va/OTarmiesיִדֹּדוּןyid/do/DUNthey fleeיִדֹּדוּןyid/do/DUNthey fleeוּנְוַת־בַּיִתu/ne/VAT-BA/yitand she who stays at homeתְּחַלֵּקte/chal/LEKdividesשָׁלָל׃sha/LALthe spoil

    Kings of armies did flee apace: and she that tarried at home divided the spoil.

    אִם־תִּשְׁכְּבוּןim-tish/ke/VUNthough you lieבֵּיןbenamongשְׁפַתָּיִםshe/fat/TA/yimthe sheepfoldsכַּנְפֵיkan/FEthe wings ofיוֹנָהyo/NAa doveנֶחְפָּהnech/PAare coveredבַכֶּסֶףvak/KE/sefwith silverוְאֶבְרוֹתֶיהָve/ev/ro/TE/haand her pinionsבִּירַקְרַקbi/rak/RAKwith yellowחָרוּץ׃cha/RUTSgold

    Though ye have lien among the pots, yet shall ye be as the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with yellow gold.

    בְּפָרֵשׂbe/fa/RESwhen scatteredשַׁדַּיShad/DAYthe Almightyמְלָכִיםme/la/KHIMkingsבָּהּbain itתַּשְׁלֵגtash/LEGit snowedבְּצַלְמוֹן׃be/Tsal/MONin Zalmon

    When the Almighty scattered kings in it, it was white as snow in Salmon.

16. 16

    הַר־אֱלֹהִיםhar-e/lo/HIMa mountain of God isהַר־בָּשָׁןHar-ba/SHANMount Bashanהַרhara mountain ofגַּבְנֻנִּיםgav/nun/NIMpeaksהַר־בָּשָׁן׃Har-ba/SHANMount Bashan

    The hill of God is as the hill of Bashan; an high hill as the hill of Bashan.

    לָמָּהLAM/mawhyתְּרַצְּדוּןte/rats/tse/DUNdo you look with envyהָרִיםha/RIMO mountains ofגַּבְנֻנִּיםgav/nun/NIMpeaksהָהָרha/HARthe mountain whichחָמַדcha/MADdesiredאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodלְשִׁבְתּוֹle/shiv/TOfor His dwellingאַף־יְהֹוָהaf-Adonaiyes the LORDיִשְׁכֹּןyish/KONwill dwell thereלָנֶצַח׃la/NE/tsachforever

    Why leap ye, ye high hills? this is the hill which God desireth to dwell in; yea, the LORD will dwell in it for ever.

    רֶכֶבRE/khevthe chariots ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodרִבֹּתַיִםrib/bo/TA/yimare twenty thousandאַלְפֵיal/FEthousands ofשִׁנְאָןshin/ANrepetitionאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe Lord isבָֿםvamamong themסִינַיSi/NAYas at Sinaiבַּקֹּדֶשׁ׃bak/KO/deshin the sanctuary

    The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.

    Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them.

    בָּרוּךְba/RUKHblessed beאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe Lordיוֹםyomdayיוֹםyomby dayיַעֲמׇס־לָנוּya/a/MOS-LA/nuwho bears our burdenהָאֵלha/ELGodיְשׁוּעָתֵנוּye/shu/a/TE/nuour salvationסֶלָה׃SE/laSelah

    Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.

21. 21

    הָאֵלha/ELGodלָנוּLA/nufor us isאֵלela Godלְמוֹשָׁעוֹתle/mo/sha/OTof deliverancesוְלֵיהֹוִהve-la-Adonaiand to GODאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe Lordלַמָּוֶתlam/MA/vetfrom deathתֹּצָאוֹת׃to/tsa/OTbelong escapes

    He that is our God is the God of salvation; and unto GOD the Lord belong the issues from death.

22. 22

    אַךְ־אֱלֹהִיםakh-e/lo/HIMbut Godיִמְחַץyim/CHATSwill crushרֹאשׁroshthe head ofאֹיְבָיוoy/VAYVHis enemiesקׇדְקֹדkod/KODthe crown ofשֵׂעָרse/ARhair ofמִתְהַלֵּךְmit/hal/LEKHhim who walksבַּאֲשָׁמָיו׃ba/a/sha/MAYVin his guilt

    But God shall wound the head of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on still in his trespasses.

23. 23

    אָמַרa/MARsaidאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe Lordמִבָּשָׁןmib/Ba/SHANfrom Bashanאָשִׁיבa/SHIVI will bring backאָשִׁיבa/SHIVI will bring backמִמְּצֻלוֹתmim/me/tsu/LOTfrom the depths ofיָם׃yamthe sea

    The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring my people again from the depths of the sea:

24. 24

    לְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatתִּמְחַץtim/CHATSyou may crushרַגְלְךָrag/le/KHAyour footבְּדָםbe/DAMin bloodלְשׁוֹןle/SHONthe tongue ofכְּלָבֶיךָke/la/VE/khayour dogsמֵאֹיְבִיםme/oy/VIMfrom the enemiesמִנֵּהוּ׃min/NE/huhas its portion

    That thy foot may be dipped in the blood of thine enemies, and the tongue of thy dogs in the same.

25. 25

    רָאוּra/Uthey have seenהֲלִיכוֹתֶיךָha/li/kho/TE/khaYour goingsאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMO Godהֲלִיכוֹתha/li/KHOTthe goings ofאֵלִיe/LImy GodמַלְכִּיMal/KImy Kingבַקֹּדֶשׁ׃vak/KO/deshin the sanctuary

    They have seen thy goings, O God; even the goings of my God, my King, in the sanctuary.

    קִדְּמוּkid/de/MUwent beforeשָׁרִיםsha/RIMsingersאַחַרa/CHARafter themנֹגְנִיםnog/NIMmusiciansבְּתוֹךְbe/TOKHamongעֲלָמוֹתa/la/MOTyoung womenתּוֹפֵפוֹת׃to/fe/FOTplaying tambourines

    The singers went before, the players on instruments followed after; among them were the damsels playing with timbrels.

    בְּמַקְהֵלוֹתbe/mak/he/LOTin the congregationsבָּרְכוּba/re/KHUblessאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe Lordמִמְּקוֹרmim/me/KORfrom the fountain ofיִשְׂרָאֵל׃Yis/ra/ELIsrael

    Bless ye God in the congregations, even the Lord, from the fountain of Israel.

28. 28

    שָׁםshamthereבִּנְיָמִןBin/ya/MINBenjaminצָעִירtsa/IRthe youngestרֹדֵםro/DEMruling themשָׂרֵיsa/REthe princes ofיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahרִגְמָתָםrig/ma/TAMin their throngשָׂרֵיsa/REthe princes ofזְבֻלוּןZe/vu/LUNZebulunשָׂרֵיsa/REthe princes ofנַפְתָּלִי׃Naf/ta/LINaphtali

    There is little Benjamin with their ruler, the princes of Judah and their council, the princes of Zebulun, and the princes of Naphtali.

    צִוָּהtsiv/VAhas commandedאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godעֻזֶּךָuz/ZE/khayour strengthעוּזָּהuz/ZAshow strengthאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodזוּzuwhichפָּעַלְתָּpa/AL/taYou have doneלָּנוּ׃LA/nufor us

    Thy God hath commanded thy strength: strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us.

30. 30

    מֵהֵיכָלֶךָme/he/kha/LE/khabecause of Your templeעַל־יְרוּשָׁלָ͏ִםal-Ye/ru/sha/LA/yimat Jerusalemלְךָle/KHAto Youיוֹבִילוּyo/VI/lushall bringמְלָכִיםme/la/KHIMkingsשָׁי׃shaygifts

    Because of thy temple at Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto thee.

    גְּעַרge/ARrebukeחַיַּתchay/YATthe beast ofקָנֶהka/NEthe reedsעֲדַתa/DATthe herd ofאַבִּירִיםab/bi/RIMbullsבְּעֶגְלֵיbe/eg/LEwith the calves ofעַמִּיםam/MIMthe peoplesמִתְרַפֵּסmit/rap/PEShumbling itselfבְּרַצֵּי־כָסֶףbe/rats/TSE-KHA/sefwith pieces of silverבִּזַּרbiz/ZARscatterעַמִּיםam/MIMthe peoplesקְרָבוֹתke/ra/VOTin warיֶחְפָּצוּ׃yech/PA/tsuwho delight

    Rebuke the company of spearmen, the multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the people, till every one submit himself with pieces of silver: scatter thou the people that delight in war.

    Princes shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall soon stretch out her hands unto God.

    Sing unto God, ye kingdoms of the earth; O sing praises unto the Lord; Selah:

    לָרֹכֵבla/ro/KHEVto Him who ridesבִּשְׁמֵיbish/MEupon the heavens ofשְׁמֵי־קֶדֶםshe/ME-KE/demthe ancient heavensהֵןhenbeholdיִתֵּןyit/TENHe uttersבְּקוֹלוֹbe/ko/LOwith His voiceקוֹלkolthe voice ofעֹז׃ozmight

    To him that rideth upon the heavens of heavens, which were of old; lo, he doth send out his voice, and that a mighty voice.

    תְּנוּte/NUascribeעֹזozstrengthלֵאלֹהִיםle/lo/HIMto Godעַל־יִשְׂרָאֵלal-Yis/ra/ELover Israel isגַּאֲוָתוֹga/a/va/TOHis majestyוְעֻזּוֹve/uz/ZOand His strength isבַּשְּׁחָקִים׃bash/she/cha/KIMis in the skies

    Ascribe ye strength unto God: his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the clouds.

    O God, thou art terrible out of thy holy places: the God of Israel is he that giveth strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God.
