   To the chief Musician, A Psalm and Song of David.

   לְךָle/KHAto Youדֻמִיָּהdu/miy/YAsilenceתְהִלָּהte/hil/LApraiseאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMO Godבְּצִיּוֹןbe/Tsiy/YONin Zionוּלְךָu/le/KHAand to Youיְשֻׁלַּם־נֶדֶר׃ye/shul/LAM-NE/dershall the vow be performed

   Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Sion: and unto thee shall the vow be performed.

   שֹׁמֵעַsho/ME/aYou who hearתְּפִלָּהte/fil/LAa prayerעָדֶיךָa/DE/khato Youכׇּל־בָּשָׂרkol-ba/SARall fleshיָבֹאוּ׃ya/VO/ushall come

   O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.

   דִּבְרֵיdiv/REmatters ofעֲוֺנֹתa/vo/NOTiniquitiesגָּבְרוּga/ve/RUprevailמֶנִּיMEN/niagainst meפְּשָׁעֵינוּpe/sha/E/nuour transgressionsאַתָּהat/TAYouתְכַפְּרֵם׃te/khap/pe/REMshall purge them away

   Iniquities prevail against me: as for our transgressions, thou shalt purge them away.

   אַשְׁרֵיash/REblessed is he whomתִּבְחַרtiv/CHARYou chooseוּתְקָרֵבu/te/ka/REVand cause to approachיִשְׁכֹּןyish/KONhe will dwellחֲצֵרֶיךָcha/tse/RE/khaYour courtsנִשְׂבְּעָהnis/be/Awe shall be satisfiedבְּטוּבbe/TUVon the goodness ofבֵּיתֶךָbe/TE/khaYour houseקְדֹשׁke/DOSHthe holiness ofהֵיכָלֶךָ׃he/kha/LE/khatemple

   Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple.

   נוֹרָאוֹתno/ra/OTwith awesome deedsבְּצֶדֶקbe/TSE/dekin righteousnessתַּעֲנֵנוּta/a/ne/NUwill You answer usאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe God ofיִשְׁעֵנוּyish/E/nuour salvationמִבְטָחmiv/TACHthe confidence ofכׇּל־קַצְוֵי־אֶרֶץkol-kats/VE-E/retsall the ends of the earthוְיָםve/YAMand of the seaרְחֹקִים׃re/cho/KIMfar off

   By terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation; who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the sea:

   מֵכִיןme/KHINwho establishesהָרִיםha/RIMthe mountainsבְּכֹחוֹbe/kho/CHOby His strengthנֶאְזָרne/ZARwho is girdedבִּגְבוּרָה׃big/vu/RAwith might

   Which by his strength setteth fast the mountains; being girded with power:

   מַשְׁבִּיחַmash/BI/achwho stillsשְׁאוֹןshe/ONthe roaring ofיַמִּיםyam/MIMthe seasשְׁאוֹןshe/ONthe roaring ofגַּלֵּיהֶםgal/le/HEMtheir wavesוַהֲמוֹןva/ha/MONand the tumult ofלְאֻמִּים׃le/um/MIMthe peoples

   Which stilleth the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people.

   וַיִּירְאוּvay/yi/re/Uand are afraidיֹשְׁבֵיyosh/VEthey who dwell inקְצָוֺתke/tsa/VOTthe endsמֵאוֹתֹתֶיךָme/o/to/TE/khaat Your signsמוֹצָאֵי־בֹקֶרmo/tsa/E-VO/kerthe outgoings of the morningוָעֶרֶבva/E/revand eveningתַּרְנִין׃tar/NINYou make shout for joy

   They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens: thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice.

    פָּקַדְתָּ־הָאָרֶץpa/KAD/ta-ha/A/retsYou visit the earthוַתְּשֹׁקְקֶהָvat/te/shok/KE/haand water itרַבַּתrab/BATgreatlyתַּעְשְׁרֶנָּהta/she/REN/naYou enrich itפֶּלֶגPE/legthe stream ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodמָלֵאma/LEis full ofמָיִםMA/yimwaterתָּכִיןta/KHINYou provideדְּגָנָםde/ga/NAMtheir grainכִּי־כֵןki-khenfor soתְּכִינֶהָ׃te/khi/NE/haYou have prepared it

    Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God, which is full of water: thou preparest them corn, when thou hast so provided for it.

    תְּלָמֶיהָte/la/ME/haits furrowsרַוֵּהrav/VEYou water abundantlyנַחֵתna/CHETYou settleגְּדוּדֶהָge/du/DE/haits ridgesבִּרְבִיבִיםbir/vi/VIMwith showersתְּמֹגְגֶנָּהte/mog/GEN/naYou make it softצִמְחָהּtsim/CHAits growthתְּבָרֵךְ׃te/va/REKHYou bless

    Thou waterest the ridges thereof abundantly: thou settlest the furrows thereof: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing thereof.

    עִטַּרְתָּit/tar/TAYou crownשְׁנַתshe/NATthe year ofטוֹבָתֶךָto/va/TE/khaYour goodnessוּמַעְגָּלֶיךָu/ma/ga/LE/khaand Your pathsיִרְעֲפוּןyir/a/FUNdropדָּשֶׁן׃DA/shenfatness

    Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.

    יִרְעֲפוּyir/a/FUdripנְאוֹתne/OTthe pastures ofמִדְבָּרmid/BARthe wildernessוְגִילve/GILand with rejoicingגְּבָעוֹתge/va/OTthe hillsתַּחְגֹּרְנָה׃tach/GOR/nagird themselves

    They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side.

    לָבְשׁוּla/ve/SHUare clothedכָרִיםkha/RIMthe pasturesהַצֹּאןhats/TSONwith flocksוַעֲמָקִיםva/a/ma/KIMand the valleysיַעַטְפוּ־בָרya/at/FU-varare covered over with grainיִתְרוֹעֲעוּyit/ro/a/Uthey shout for joyאַף־יָשִׁירוּ׃af-ya/SHI/ruyes they sing

    The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing.
