   לַמְנַצֵּחַto the chief musicianעַל־נְגִינַתupon a stringed instrumentלְדָוִד׃of David

   To the chief Musician upon Neginah, A Psalm of David.

2. 2

   שִׁמְעָהhearאֱלֹהִיםO Godרִנָּתִיmy cryהַקְשִׁיבָהattendתְּפִלָּתִי׃to my prayer

   Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.

3. 3

   מִקְצֵהfrom the end ofהָאָרֶץthe earthאֵלֶיךָto YouאֶקְרָאI will cryבַּעֲטֹףwhen grows faintלִבִּיmy heartבְּצוּר־יָרוּםto the rock that is higherמִמֶּנִּיthan Iתַנְחֵנִי׃lead me

   From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

   כִּי־הָיִיתָfor You have beenמַחְסֶהa shelterלִיto meמִגְדַּל־עֹזa strong towerמִפְּנֵיbecause ofאוֹיֵב׃the enemy

   For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.

5. 5

   אָגוּרָהI will abideבְאׇהׇלְךָin Your tentעוֹלָמִיםfor everאֶחֱסֶהI will take refugeבְסֵתֶרin the covert ofכְּנָפֶיךָYour wingsסֶּלָה׃Selah

   I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah.

   כִּי־אַתָּהfor YouאֱלֹהִיםO GodשָׁמַעְתָּYou have heardלִנְדָרָיmy vowsנָתַתָּYou have grantedיְרֻשַּׁתthe heritage ofיִרְאֵיthose who fearשְׁמֶךָ׃Your name

   For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name.

   יָמִיםdaysעַל־יְמֵי־מֶלֶךְto the days of the kingתּוֹסִיףYou will addשְׁנוֹתָיוhis yearsכְּמוֹ־דֹרas many generationsוָדֹר׃to generation

   Thou wilt prolong the king's life: and his years as many generations.

   יֵשֵׁבmay he be enthronedעוֹלָםforeverלִפְנֵיbeforeאֱלֹהִיםGodחֶסֶדmercyוֶאֱמֶתand truthמַןO appointיִנְצְרֻהוּ׃that they may preserve him

   He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him.

9. 9

   כֵּןsoאֲזַמְּרָהwill I sing praise toשִׁמְךָYour nameלָעַדforeverלְשַׁלְּמִיas I performנְדָרַיmy vowsיוֹםdayיוֹם׃day

   So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.
