   יְהֹוָהO LORDאַל־בְּאַפְּךָnot in Your angerתוֹכִיחֵנִיrebuke meוְאַל־בַּחֲמָתְךָnor in Your hot displeasureתְיַסְּרֵנִי׃chasten me

   O LORD, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.

   חׇנֵּנִיhave mercy on meיְהֹוָהO LORDכִּיforאֻמְלַל־אָנִיweak am Iרְפָאֵנִיheal meיְהֹוָהO LORDכִּיforנִבְהֲלוּare troubledעֲצָמָי׃my bones

   Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed.

   וְנַפְשִׁיand my soulנִבְהֲלָהis troubledמְאֹדgreatly(ואת)[וְאַתָּה]but YouיְהֹוָהO LORDעַד־מָתָי׃how long

   My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O LORD, how long?

   שׁוּבָהreturnיְהֹוָהO LORDחַלְּצָהdeliverנַפְשִׁיmy soulהוֹשִׁיעֵנִיoh save meלְמַעַןfor the sake ofחַסְדֶּךָ׃Your mercy

   Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies' sake.

   כִּיforאֵיןthere is noבַּמָּוֶתin deathזִכְרֶךָremembrance of Youבִּשְׁאוֹלin the graveמִיwhoיוֹדֶה־לָּךְ׃will give You thanks

   For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?

   יָגַעְתִּיI am wearyבְּאַנְחָתִיwith my sighingאַשְׂחֶהI make swimבְכׇל־לַיְלָהall nightמִטָּתִיmy bedבְּדִמְעָתִיwith my tearsעַרְשִׂיmy couchאַמְסֶה׃I drench

   I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.

   עָשְׁשָׁהwastes awayמִכַּעַסbecause of griefעֵינִיmy eyeעָתְקָהit grows weakבְּכׇל־צוֹרְרָי׃because of all my enemies

   Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies.

9. 9

   סוּרוּdepartמִמֶּנִּיfrom meכׇּל־פֹּעֲלֵיall you workers ofאָוֶןiniquityכִּי־שָׁמַעfor has heardיְהֹוָהthe LORDקוֹלthe voice ofבִּכְיִי׃my weeping

   Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping.

10. 10

    שָׁמַעhas heardיְהֹוָהthe LORDתְּחִנָּתִיmy supplicationיְהֹוָהthe LORDתְּפִלָּתִיmy prayerיִקָּח׃will receive

    The LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer.

11. 11

    יֵבֹשׁוּlet be ashamedוְיִבָּהֲלוּand be troubledמְאֹדgreatlyכׇּל־אֹיְבָיall my enemiesיָשֻׁבוּlet them turn backיֵבֹשׁוּand be ashamedרָגַע׃in a moment

    Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly.
