   To the chief Musician upon Nehiloth, A Psalm of David.

   אֲמָרַיa/ma/RAYto my wordsהַאֲזִינָהha/a/ZI/nagive earיְהֹוָהAdonaiO LORDבִּינָהbi/NAconsiderהֲגִיגִי׃ha/GI/gimy meditation

   Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation.

   הַקְשִׁיבָהhak/SHI/vagive heedלְקוֹלle/KOLto the voice ofשַׁוְעִיshav/Imy cryמַלְכִּיMal/KImy Kingוֵאלֹהָיve/lo/HAYand my Godכִּי־אֵלֶיךָki-e/LE/khafor to Youאֶתְפַּלָּל׃et/pal/LALI will pray

   Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray.

   יְהֹוָהAdonaiO LORDבֹּקֶרBO/kerin the morningתִּשְׁמַעtish/MAYou shall hearקוֹלִיko/LImy voiceבֹּקֶרBO/kerin the morningאֶעֱרׇךְ־לְךָe/e/ROKH-le/KHAI will set it out for Youוַאֲצַפֶּה׃va/a/tsap/PEand will watch

   My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

   כִּיkiforלֹאlonotאֵל־חָפֵץ־רֶשַׁעel-cha/FETS-RE/shaa God who takes pleasure in wickednessאָתָּהAT/taare Youלֹאlonotיְגֻרְךָye/gur/KHAshall dwell with Youרָע׃raevil

   For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.

   לֹא־יִתְיַצְּבוּlo-yit/yats/tse/VUshall not standהוֹלְלִיםhol/LIMthe boastfulלְנֶגֶדle/NE/gedbeforeעֵינֶיךָe/NE/khaYour eyesשָׂנֵאתָsa/NE/taYou hateכׇּל־פֹּעֲלֵיkol-PO/a/leall workers ofאָוֶן׃A/veniniquity

   The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

   תְּאַבֵּדte/ab/BEDYou shall destroyדֹּבְרֵיdov/REthose who speakכָזָבkha/ZAVfalsehoodאִישׁ־דָּמִיםish-da/MIMa man of bloodוּמִרְמָהu/mir/MAand deceitיְתָעֵבye/ta/EVabhorsיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

   Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.

8. 8

   וַאֲנִיva/a/NIbut Iבְּרֹבbe/ROVin the multitude ofחַסְדְּךָchas/de/KHAYour kindnessאָבוֹאa/VOwill come intoבֵיתֶךָve/TE/khaYour houseאֶשְׁתַּחֲוֶהesh/ta/cha/VEI will worshipאֶל־הֵיכַל־קׇדְשְׁךָel-he/KHAL-kod/she/KHAtoward Your holy templeבְּיִרְאָתֶךָ׃be/yir/a/TE/khain the fear of You

   But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.

   יְהֹוָהAdonaiO LORDנְחֵנִיne/CHE/nilead meבְצִדְקָתֶךָve/tsid/ka/TE/khain Your righteousnessלְמַעַןle/MA/anbecause ofשׁוֹרְרָיshor/RAYmy enemies[הַיְשַׁר]hay/SHARmake straightלְפָנַיle/fa/NAYbefore meדַּרְכֶּךָ׃dar/KE/khaYour way

   Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.

10. 10

    כִּיkiforאֵיןenthere is noבְּפִיהוּbe/FI/huin his mouthנְכוֹנָהne/kho/NAfaithfulnessקִרְבָּםkir/BAMtheir inward partהַוּוֹתhav/VOTdestructionקֶבֶר־פָּתוּחַKE/ver-pa/TU/achan open graveגְּרֹנָםge/ro/NAMtheir throatלְשׁוֹנָםle/sho/NAMwith their tongueיַחֲלִיקוּן׃ya/cha/LI/kunthey flatter

    For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.

    הַאֲשִׁימֵםha/a/shi/MEMhold them guiltyאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMO Godיִפְּלוּyip/pe/LUlet them fallמִמֹּעֲצוֹתֵיהֶםmim/mo/a/tso/te/HEMby their own counselsבְּרֹבbe/ROVin the multitude ofפִּשְׁעֵיהֶםpish/e/HEMtheir transgressionsהַדִּיחֵמוֹhad/di/CHE/mocast them outכִּי־מָרוּki-MA/rufor they have rebelledבָךְ׃vakhagainst You

    Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee.

12. 12

    וְיִשְׂמְחוּve/yis/me/CHUbut let rejoiceכׇל־חוֹסֵיkhol-CHO/seall who take refugeבָךְvakhin Youלְעוֹלָםle/o/LAMforeverיְרַנֵּנוּye/ran/NE/nulet them shout for joyוְתָסֵךְve/ta/SEKHand You shelterעָלֵימוֹa/LE/moover themוְיַעְלְצוּve/ya/le/TSUand let them exultבְךָve/KHAin Youאֹהֲבֵיo/ha/VEthose who loveשְׁמֶךָ׃she/ME/khaYour name

    But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

13. 13

    כִּי־אַתָּהki-at/TAfor Youתְּבָרֵךְte/va/REKHwill blessצַדִּיקtsad/DIKthe righteousיְהֹוָהAdonaiO LORDכַּצִּנָּהkats/tsin/NAas with a shieldרָצוֹןra/TSONwith favorתַּעְטְרֶנּוּ׃ta/te/REN/nuYou surround him

    For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.
