1. 1

   לַמְנַצֵּחַto the chief musicianאֶל־הַנְּחִילוֹתwith flutesמִזְמוֹרa psalmלְדָוִד׃of David

   To the chief Musician upon Nehiloth, A Psalm of David.

2. 2

   אֲמָרַיto my wordsהַאֲזִינָהgive earיְהֹוָהO LORDבִּינָהconsiderהֲגִיגִי׃my meditation

   Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation.

3. 3

   הַקְשִׁיבָהgive heedלְקוֹלto the voice ofשַׁוְעִיmy cryמַלְכִּיmy Kingוֵאלֹהָיand my Godכִּי־אֵלֶיךָfor to Youאֶתְפַּלָּל׃I will pray

   Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray.

   יְהֹוָהO LORDבֹּקֶרin the morningתִּשְׁמַעYou shall hearקוֹלִיmy voiceבֹּקֶרin the morningאֶעֱרׇךְ־לְךָI will direct my prayer to Youוַאֲצַפֶּה׃and will watch

   My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

5. 5

   כִּיforלֹאnotאֵל־חָפֵץ־רֶשַׁעa God who takes pleasure in wickednessאָתָּהare Youלֹאnotיְגֻרְךָshall dwell with Youרָע׃evil

   For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.

6. 6

   לֹא־יִתְיַצְּבוּshall not standהוֹלְלִיםthe boastfulלְנֶגֶדbeforeעֵינֶיךָYour eyesשָׂנֵאתָYou hateכׇּל־פֹּעֲלֵיall workers ofאָוֶן׃iniquity

   The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

7. 7

   תְּאַבֵּדYou shall destroyדֹּבְרֵיthose who speakכָזָבfalsehoodאִישׁ־דָּמִיםa man of bloodוּמִרְמָהand deceitיְתָעֵבabhorsיְהֹוָה׃the LORD

   Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.

8. 8

   וַאֲנִיbut Iבְּרֹבin the multitude ofחַסְדְּךָYour mercyאָבוֹאwill come intoבֵיתֶךָYour houseאֶשְׁתַּחֲוֶהI will worshipאֶל־הֵיכַל־קׇדְשְׁךָtoward Your holy templeבְּיִרְאָתֶךָ׃in the fear of You

   But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.

9. 9

   יְהֹוָהO LORDנְחֵנִיlead meבְצִדְקָתֶךָin Your righteousnessלְמַעַןbecause ofשׁוֹרְרָיmy enemies[הַיְשַׁר]make straightלְפָנַיbefore meדַּרְכֶּךָ׃Your way

   Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.

10. 10

    כִּיforאֵיןthere is noבְּפִיהוּin his mouthנְכוֹנָהfaithfulnessקִרְבָּםtheir inward partהַוּוֹתdestructionקֶבֶר־פָּתוּחַan open graveגְּרֹנָםtheir throatלְשׁוֹנָםwith their tongueיַחֲלִיקוּן׃they flatter

    For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.

11. 11

    הַאֲשִׁימֵםhold them guiltyאֱלֹהִיםO Godיִפְּלוּlet them fallמִמֹּעֲצוֹתֵיהֶםby their own counselsבְּרֹבin the multitude ofפִּשְׁעֵיהֶםtheir transgressionsהַדִּיחֵמוֹcast them outכִּי־מָרוּfor they have rebelledבָךְ׃against You

    Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee.

12. 12

    וְיִשְׂמְחוּbut let rejoiceכׇל־חוֹסֵיall who put their trustבָךְin Youלְעוֹלָםforeverיְרַנֵּנוּlet them shout for joyוְתָסֵךְand You shelterעָלֵימוֹover themוְיַעְלְצוּand let them exultבְךָin Youאֹהֲבֵיthose who loveשְׁמֶךָ׃Your name

    But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

13. 13

    כִּי־אַתָּהfor Youתְּבָרֵךְwill blessצַדִּיקthe righteousיְהֹוָהO LORDכַּצִּנָּהas with a shieldרָצוֹןwith favorתַּעְטְרֶנּוּ׃You surround him

    For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.
