   A Psalm of Asaph. The mighty God, even the LORD, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.

   מִצִּיּוֹןmits/Tsiy/YONout of Zionמִכְלַל־יֹפִיmikh/LAL-YO/fithe perfection of beautyאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodהוֹפִיעַ׃ho/FI/ahas shone forth

   Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined.

   יָבֹאya/VOcomesאֱלֹהֵינוּe/lo/HE/nuour Godוְאַל־יֶחֱרַשׁve/AL-ye/che/RASHand does not keep silenceאֵשׁ־לְפָנָיוesh-le/fa/NAYVa fire before Himתֹּאכֵלto/KHELdevoursוּסְבִיבָיוu/se/vi/VAYVand round about Himנִשְׂעֲרָהnis/a/RAit stormsמְאֹד׃me/ODvery

   Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.

   יִקְרָאyik/RAHe callsאֶל־הַשָּׁמַיִםel-hash/sha/MA/yimto the heavensמֵעָלme/ALaboveוְאֶל־הָאָרֶץve/EL-ha/A/retsand the earthלָדִיןla/DINto judgeעַמּוֹ׃am/MOHis people

   He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.

   אִסְפוּ־לִיis/FU-ligather to Meחֲסִידָיcha/si/DAYMy faithful onesכֹּרְתֵיkor/TEthose who have madeבְרִיתִיve/ri/TIMy covenantעֲלֵי־זָבַח׃a/LE-ZA/vachby sacrifice

   Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.

   וַיַּגִּידוּvay/yag/GI/duand declareשָׁמַיִםsha/MA/yimthe heavensצִדְקוֹtsid/KOHis righteousnessכִּי־אֱלֹהִיםki-e/lo/HIMfor Godשֹׁפֵטsho/FETjudgeהוּאhuis Heסֶלָה׃SE/laSelah

   And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah.

   שִׁמְעָהshim/Ahearעַמִּיam/MIMy peopleוַאֲדַבֵּרָהva/a/dab/BE/raand let me speakיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELO Israelוְאָעִידָהve/a/I/daand I will testifyבָּךְbakhagainst youאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godאָנֹכִי׃a/no/KHII am

   Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am God, even thy God.

8. 8

   לֹאlonotעַל־זְבָחֶיךָal-ze/va/CHE/khaupon your sacrificesאוֹכִיחֶךָo/khi/CHE/khado I rebuke youוְעוֹלֹתֶיךָve/o/lo/TE/khaand your burnt offeringsלְנֶגְדִּיle/neg/DIare before Meתָמִיד׃ta/MIDcontinually

   I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, to have been continually before me.

9. 9

   לֹא־אֶקַּחlo-ek/KACHI will take noמִבֵּיתְךָmib/be/te/KHAfrom your houseפָרfara bullמִמִּכְלְאֹתֶיךָmim/mikh/le/o/TE/khafrom your foldsעַתּוּדִים׃at/tu/DIMgoats

   I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he goats out of thy folds.

    כִּי־לִיki-lifor Mine isכׇל־חַיְתוֹ־יָעַרkhol-chay/TO-YA/arevery beast of the forestבְּהֵמוֹתbe/he/MOTthe cattleבְּהַרְרֵי־אָלֶף׃be/har/RE-A/lefupon a thousand hills

    For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.

11. 11

    יָדַעְתִּיya/DA/tiI knowכׇּל־עוֹףkol-ofall the birds ofהָרִיםha/RIMthe mountainsוְזִיזve/ZIZand the wild beasts ofשָׂדַיsa/DAYthe fieldעִמָּדִי׃im/ma/DIare Mine

    I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.

12. 12

    אִם־אֶרְעַבim-er/AVif I were hungryלֹא־אֹמַרlo-O/marI would not tellלָךְlakhto youכִּי־לִיki-lifor Mine isתֵבֵלte/VELthe worldוּמְלֹאָהּ׃u/me/lo/Aand all its fullness

    If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.

    הַאוֹכַלha/o/KHALdo I eatבְּשַׂרbe/SARthe flesh ofאַבִּירִיםab/bi/RIMbullsוְדַםve/DAMand blood ofעַתּוּדִיםat/tu/DIMgoatsאֶשְׁתֶּה׃esh/TEor do I drink

    Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?

14. 14

    זְבַחze/VACHofferלֵאלֹהִיםle/lo/HIMto Godתּוֹדָהto/DAa thank offeringוְשַׁלֵּםve/shal/LEMand payלְעֶלְיוֹןle/El/YONto the Most Highנְדָרֶיךָ׃ne/da/RE/khayour vows

    Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:

15. 15

    וּקְרָאֵנִיu/ke/ra/e/NIand call upon Meבְּיוֹםbe/YOMin the day ofצָרָהtsa/RAafflictionאֲחַלֶּצְךָa/chal/lets/KHAI will deliver youוּתְכַבְּדֵנִי׃u/te/khab/be/DE/niand you shall glorify Me

    And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

16. 16

    וְלָרָשָׁעve/la/ra/SHAbut to the wickedאָמַרa/MARsaysאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodמַה־לְּךָma-le/KHAwhat right have youלְסַפֵּרle/sap/PERto tellחֻקָּיchuk/KAYMy statutesוַתִּשָּׂאvat/tis/SAor that you take upבְרִיתִיve/ri/TIMy covenantעֲלֵי־פִיךָ׃a/LE-FI/khain your mouth

    But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?

17. 17

    וְאַתָּהve/at/TAseeing youשָׂנֵאתָsa/NE/tayou hateמוּסָרmu/SARinstructionוַתַּשְׁלֵךְvat/tash/LEKHand you castדְּבָרַיde/va/RAYMy wordsאַחֲרֶיךָ׃a/cha/RE/khaafter you

    Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.

18. 18

    אִם־רָאִיתָim-ra/I/taif you sawגַנָּבgan/NAVa thiefוַתִּרֶץvat/TI/retsyou were pleasedעִמּוֹim/MOwith himוְעִםve/IMand withמְנָאֲפִיםme/na/a/FIMadulterersחֶלְקֶךָ׃chel/KE/khais your portion

    When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers.

19. 19

    פִּיךָPI/khayour mouthשָׁלַחְתָּsha/LACH/tayou give free reinבְרָעָהve/ra/Ato evilוּלְשׁוֹנְךָu/le/shon/KHAand your tongueתַּצְמִידtats/MIDframesמִרְמָה׃mir/MAdeceit

    Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.

20. 20

    תֵּשֵׁבte/SHEVyou sitבְּאָחִיךָbe/a/CHI/khaagainst your brotherתְדַבֵּרte/dab/BERyou speakבְּבֶן־אִמְּךָbe/VEN-im/me/KHAagainst your own mother's sonתִּתֶּן־דֹּפִי׃tit/TEN-DO/fiyou utter slander

    Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother's son.

21. 21

    אֵלֶּהEL/letheseעָשִׂיתָa/SI/tayou have doneוְהֶחֱרַשְׁתִּיve/he/che/RASH/tiand I kept silentדִּמִּיתָdim/MI/tayou thoughtהֱיוֹת־אֶהְיֶהhe/YOT-eh/YEthat I was altogetherכָמוֹךָkha/MO/khaas youאוֹכִיחֲךָo/khi/cha/KHAI will reprove youוְאֶעֶרְכָהve/e/er/KHAand set it in orderלְעֵינֶיךָ׃le/e/NE/khabefore your eyes

    These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.

22. 22

    בִּינוּ־נָאBI/nu-naconsider nowזֹאתzotthisשֹׁכְחֵיshokh/CHEthose who forgetאֱלוֹהַּe/LO/ahGodפֶּן־אֶטְרֹףpen-et/ROFlest I tear you in piecesוְאֵיןve/ENand there is noמַצִּיל׃mats/TSILa deliverer

    Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.

23. 23

    זֹבֵחַzo/VE/achwhoever offersתּוֹדָהto/DAa thank offeringיְכַבְּדָנְנִיye/khab/be/DAN/niglorifies Meוְשָׂםve/SAMand he who preparesדֶּרֶךְDE/rekhhis wayאַרְאֶנּוּar/EN/nuI will show himבְּיֵשַׁעbe/YE/shathe salvation ofאֱלֹהִים׃e/lo/HIMGod

    Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.
