   A Song and Psalm for the sons of Korah.

   גָּדוֹלga/DOLgreat isיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDוּמְהֻלָּלu/me/hul/LALand to be praisedמְאֹדme/ODgreatlyבְּעִירbe/IRin the city ofאֱלֹהֵינוּe/lo/HE/nuour Godהַר־קׇדְשׁוֹ׃har-kod/SHOHis holy mountain

   Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.

   יְפֵהye/FEbeautiful inנוֹףnofin elevationמְשׂוֹשׂme/SOSthe joy ofכׇּל־הָאָרֶץkol-ha/A/retsall the earthהַר־צִיּוֹןhaR-tsiy/YONis Mount Zionיַרְכְּתֵיyar/ke/TEthe sides ofצָפוֹןtsa/FONthe northקִרְיַתkir/YATthe city ofמֶלֶךְME/lekhthe Kingרָב׃ravgreat

   Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.

   אֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodבְּאַרְמְנוֹתֶיהָbe/ar/me/no/TE/hain her palacesנוֹדַעno/DAis knownלְמִשְׂגָּב׃le/mis/GAVas a fortress

   God is known in her palaces for a refuge.

   כִּי־הִנֵּהki-hin/NEbecause beholdהַמְּלָכִיםham/me/la/KHIMthe kingsנוֹעֲדוּno/a/DUwere assembledעָבְרוּa/ve/RUthey passed onיַחְדָּו׃yach/DAVtogether

   For, lo, the kings were assembled, they passed by together.

   הֵמָּהHEM/matheyרָאוּra/Usawכֵּןkenand soתָּמָהוּta/MA/huthey were astoundedנִבְהֲלוּniv/ha/LUthey were dismayedנֶחְפָּזוּ׃nech/PA/zuthey hastened away

   They saw it, and so they marvelled; they were troubled, and hasted away.

   רְעָדָהre/a/DAtremblingאֲחָזָתַםa/cha/ZA/tamtook hold of themשָׁםshamthereחִילchilanguishכַּיּוֹלֵדָה׃kay/yo/le/DAlike a woman in travail

   Fear took hold upon them there, and pain, as of a woman in travail.

   בְּרוּחַbe/RU/achwith the wind ofקָדִיםka/DIMthe eastתְּשַׁבֵּרte/shab/BERYou breakאֳנִיּוֹתo/niy/YOTthe ships ofתַּרְשִׁישׁ׃Tar/SHISHTarshish

   Thou breakest the ships of Tarshish with an east wind.

   כַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasשָׁמַעְנוּsha/MA/nuwe heardכֵּןkensoרָאִינוּra/I/nuwe sawבְּעִיר־יְהֹוָהbe/IR-Adonaiin the city of the LORDצְבָאוֹתtse/va/OTof hostsבְּעִירbe/IRin the city ofאֱלֹהֵינוּe/lo/HE/nuour Godאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodיְכוֹנְנֶהָye/khon/NE/hawill establish itעַד־עוֹלָםad-o/LAMforeverסֶלָה׃SE/laSelah

   As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the LORD of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever. Selah.

    דִּמִּינוּdim/MI/nuwe have ponderedאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMO Godחַסְדֶּךָchas/DE/khaYour kindnessבְּקֶרֶבbe/KE/revin the midst ofהֵיכָלֶךָ׃he/kha/LE/khaYour temple

    We have thought of thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple.

    כְּשִׁמְךָke/shim/KHAas Your nameאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMO Godכֵּןkenso isתְּהִלָּתְךָte/hil/la/te/KHAYour praiseעַל־קַצְוֵי־אֶרֶץal-kats/VE-E/retsto the ends of the earthצֶדֶקTSE/dekof righteousnessמָלְאָהma/le/Ais fullיְמִינֶךָ׃ye/mi/NE/khaYour right hand

    According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness.

    יִשְׂמַחyis/MACHlet rejoiceהַר־צִיּוֹןHar-tsiy/YONMount Zionתָּגֵלְנָהta/GEL/nalet be gladבְּנוֹתbe/NOTthe daughters ofיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahלְמַעַןle/MA/anbecause ofמִשְׁפָּטֶיךָ׃mish/pa/TE/khaYour judgments

    Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments.

    סֹבּוּSOB/buwalk aboutצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONZionוְהַקִּיפוּהָve/hak/ki/FU/haand go around herסִפְרוּsif/RUcountמִגְדָּלֶיהָ׃mig/da/LE/haher towers

    Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof.

    שִׁיתוּSHI/tusetלִבְּכֶםlib/be/KHEMyour heartלְחֵילָהֿle/che/LAto her rampartsפַּסְּגוּpas/se/GUconsiderאַרְמְנוֹתֶיהָar/me/no/TE/haher palacesלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatתְּסַפְּרוּte/sap/pe/RUyou may tell itלְדוֹרle/DORto the generationאַחֲרוֹן׃a/cha/RONto come

    Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that ye may tell it to the generation following.

15. 15

    כִּיkiforזֶהzethis isאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodאֱלֹהֵינוּe/lo/HE/nuour Godעוֹלָםo/LAMforeverוָעֶדva/EDand everהוּאhuHeיְנַהֲגֵנוּye/na/ha/GE/nuHe will guide usעַל־מוּת׃al-muteven to death

    For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.
