   To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of Korah.

2. 2

   כׇּל־הָעַמִּיםkol-ha/am/MIMall you peoplesתִּקְעוּ־כָףtik/U-khafclap your handsהָרִיעוּha/RI/ushoutלֵאלֹהִיםle/lo/HIMto Godבְּקוֹלbe/KOLthe voice ofרִנָּה׃rin/NAtriumph

   O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.

   כִּי־יְהֹוָהki-Adonaifor the LORDעֶלְיוֹןEl/YONthe Most Highנוֹרָאno/RAis awesomeמֶלֶךְME/lekha Kingגָּדוֹלga/DOLgreatעַל־כׇּל־הָאָרֶץ׃al-kol-ha/A/retsupon all the earth

   For the LORD most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.

   יַדְבֵּרyad/BERHe subduesעַמִּיםam/MIMpeoplesתַּחְתֵּינוּtach/TE/nuunder usוּלְאֻמִּיםu/le/um/MIMand nationsתַּחַתTA/chatunderרַגְלֵינוּ׃rag/LE/nuour feet

   He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.

   יִבְחַר־לָנוּyiv/CHAR-LA/nuHe chooses for usאֶת־נַחֲלָתֵנוּet-na/cha/la/TE/nuour inheritanceאֶת־גְּאוֹןet-ge/ONthe pride ofיַעֲקֹבYa/a/KOVJacobאֲשֶׁר־אָהֵבa/SHER-a/HEVwhom He lovesסֶלָה׃SE/laSelah

   He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.

   עָלָהa/LAis gone upאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodבִּתְרוּעָהbit/ru/Awith a shoutיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDבְּקוֹלbe/KOLwith the sound ofשׁוֹפָר׃sho/FARa trumpet

   God is gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.

   Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.

   כִּיkiforמֶלֶךְME/lekhthe King ofכׇּל־הָאָרֶץkol-ha/A/retsall the earthאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGod isזַמְּרוּzam/me/RUsing praisesמַשְׂכִּיל׃mas/KILa maskil

   For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.

   מָלַךְma/LAKHreignsאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodעַל־גּוֹיִםal-go/YIMover the nationsאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodיָשַׁבya/SHAVsitsעַל־כִּסֵּאal-kis/SEupon the throne ofקׇדְשׁוֹ׃kod/SHOHis holiness

   God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.

    נְדִיבֵיne/di/VEthe nobles ofעַמִּיםam/MIMpeoplesנֶאֱסָפוּne/e/SA/fuare gathered togetherעַםamas the people ofאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe God ofאַבְרָהָםAv/ra/HAMAbrahamכִּיkiforלֵאלֹהִיםle/lo/HIMto God belongמָגִנֵּי־אֶרֶץma/gin/NE-E/retsthe shields of the earthמְאֹדme/ODgreatlyנַעֲלָה׃na/a/LAHe is exalted

    The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto God: he is greatly exalted.
