   To the chief Musician for the sons of Korah, A Song upon Alamoth.

   אֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGod isלָנוּLA/nufor usמַחֲסֶהma/cha/SEa refugeוָעֹזva/OZand strengthעֶזְרָהez/RAa helpבְצָרוֹתve/tsa/ROTin troublesנִמְצָאnim/TSAfoundמְאֹד׃me/ODvery

   God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

   עַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeלֹא־נִירָאlo-NI/rawe will not fearבְּהָמִירbe/ha/MIRthough changeאָרֶץA/retsthe earthוּבְמוֹטu/ve/MOTand though be movedהָרִיםha/RIMthe mountainsבְּלֵבbe/LEVinto the heart ofיַמִּים׃yam/MIMthe seas

   Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

   יֶהֱמוּye/he/MUthough roarיֶחְמְרוּyech/me/RUand foamמֵימָיוme/MAYVits watersיִרְעֲשׁוּ־הָרִיםyir/a/SHU-ha/RIMthough the mountains shakeבְּגַאֲוָתוֹbe/ga/a/va/TOat its swellingסֶלָה׃SE/laSelah

   Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.

   נָהָרna/HARthere is a riverפְּלָגָיוpe/la/GAYVits streamsיְשַׂמְּחוּye/sam/me/CHUthey make gladעִיר־אֱלֹהִיםir-e/lo/HIMthe city of Godקְדֹשׁke/DOSHthe holy place ofמִשְׁכְּנֵיmish/ke/NEthe dwellings ofעֶלְיוֹן׃El/YONthe Most High

   There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.

   אֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodבְּקִרְבָּהּbe/kir/BAis in her midstבַּל־תִּמּוֹטbal-tim/MOTshe shall not be movedיַעְזְרֶהָya/ze/RE/hashall help herאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodלִפְנוֹתlif/NOTat the turning ofבֹּקֶר׃BO/kerthe morning

   God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.

   הָמוּha/MUragedגוֹיִםgo/YIMthe nationsמָטוּMA/tutotteredמַמְלָכוֹתmam/la/KHOTkingdomsנָתַןna/TANHe utteredבְּקוֹלוֹbe/ko/LOHis voiceתָּמוּגta/MUGmeltedאָרֶץ׃A/retsthe earth

   The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.

   יְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDצְבָאוֹתtse/va/OTof hostsעִמָּנוּim/MA/nuis with usמִשְׂגָּב־לָנוּmis/GAV-LA/nuis our fortressאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe God ofיַעֲקֹבYa/a/KOVJacobסֶלָה׃SE/laSelah

   The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

   לְכוּ־חֲזוּle/KHU-cha/ZUcome beholdמִפְעֲלוֹתmif/a/LOTthe works ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֲשֶׁר־שָׂםa/SHER-samwho has madeשַׁמּוֹתsham/MOTdesolationsבָּאָרֶץ׃ba/A/retsin the land

   Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth.

    מַשְׁבִּיתmash/BITHe makes to ceaseמִלְחָמוֹתmil/cha/MOTwarsעַד־קְצֵהad-ke/TSEto the ends ofהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthקֶשֶׁתKE/shetthe bowיְשַׁבֵּרye/shab/BERHe breaksוְקִצֵּץve/kits/TSETSand cutsחֲנִיתcha/NITthe spearעֲגָלוֹתa/ga/LOTthe chariotsיִשְׂרֹףyis/ROFHe burnsבָּאֵשׁ׃ba/ESHby fire

    He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.

    הַרְפּוּhar/PUbe stillוּדְעוּu/de/Uand knowכִּי־אָנֹכִיki-a/no/KHIthat I amאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodאָרוּםa/RUMI will be exaltedבַּגּוֹיִםbag/go/YIMamong the nationsאָרוּםa/RUMI will be exaltedבָּאָרֶץ׃ba/A/retsin the earth

    Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
