   To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David the servant of the LORD.

   נְאֻם־פֶּשַׁעne/UM-PE/shatransgression speaksלָרָשָׁעla/ra/SHAto the wickedבְּקֶרֶבbe/KE/revwithinלִבִּיlib/BImy heartאֵין־פַּחַדen-PA/chadthere is no fear ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodלְנֶגֶדle/NE/gedbeforeעֵינָיו׃e/NAYVhis eyes

   The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.

   כִּי־הֶחֱלִיקki-he/che/LIKfor he flattersאֵלָיוe/LAYVhimselfבְּעֵינָיוbe/e/NAYVin his own eyesלִמְצֹאlim/TSOuntil is foundעֲוֺנוֹa/vo/NOhis iniquityלִשְׂנֹא׃lis/NOto be hated

   For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.

   דִּבְרֵי־פִיוdiv/RE-fivthe words of his mouthאָוֶןA/veniniquityוּמִרְמָהu/mir/MAand deceptionחָדַלcha/DALhe has ceasedלְהַשְׂכִּילle/has/KILbeing wiseלְהֵיטִיב׃le/he/TIVand doing good

   The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good.

   אָוֶןA/venmischiefיַחְשֹׁבyach/SHOVhe devisesעַל־מִשְׁכָּבוֹal-mish/ka/VOupon his bedיִתְיַצֵּבyit/yats/TSEVhe sets himselfעַל־דֶּרֶךְal-DE/rekhin a wayלֹא־טוֹבlo-tovthat is not goodרָעraevilלֹאlonotיִמְאָס׃yim/ASdoes he abhor

   He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil.

   יְהֹוָהAdonaiO LORDבְּהַשָּׁמַיִםbe/hash/sha/MA/yimin the heavensחַסְדֶּךָchas/DE/khaYour kindnessאֱמוּנָתְךָe/mu/na/te/KHAYour faithfulnessעַד־שְׁחָקִים׃ad-she/cha/KIMto the clouds

   Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.

   צִדְקָתְךָtsid/ka/te/KHAYour righteousnessכְּהַרְרֵי־אֵלke/har/RE-elis like the mountains of Godמִשְׁפָּטֶיךָmish/pa/TE/khaare Your judgmentsתְּהוֹםte/HOMa deepרַבָּהrab/BAgreatאָדָם־וּבְהֵמָהa/DAM-u/ve/he/MAman and beastתוֹשִׁיעַto/SHI/aYou will saveיְהֹוָה׃AdonaiO LORD

   Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O LORD, thou preservest man and beast.

   מַה־יָּקָרma-ya/KARhow precious isחַסְדְּךָchas/de/KHAYour kindnessאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMO Godוּבְנֵיu/ve/NEand the children ofאָדָםa/DAMmanבְּצֵלbe/TSELunder the shadow ofכְּנָפֶיךָke/na/FE/khaYour wingsיֶחֱסָיוּן׃ye/che/sa/YUNthey take refuge

   How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.

   יִרְוְיֻןyir/ve/YUNthey take their fillמִדֶּשֶׁןmid/DE/shenfrom the fatness ofבֵּיתֶךָbe/TE/khaYour houseוְנַחַלve/NA/chaland the river ofעֲדָנֶיךָa/da/NE/khaYour delightsתַשְׁקֵם׃tash/KEMYou give them to drink

   They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.

10. 10

    כִּי־עִמְּךָki-im/me/KHAfor with You isמְקוֹרme/KORthe fountain ofחַיִּיםchay/YIMlifeבְּאוֹרְךָbe/or/KHAin Your lightנִרְאֶה־אוֹר׃nir/E-orwe see light

    For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.

11. 11

    מְשֹׁךְme/SHOKHcontinueחַסְדְּךָchas/de/KHAYour kindnessלְיֹדְעֶיךָle/yod/E/khato those who know Youוְצִדְקָתְךָve/tsid/ka/te/KHAand Your righteousnessלְיִשְׁרֵי־לֵב׃le/yish/RE-levto the upright in heart

    O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.

12. 12

    אַל־תְּבוֹאֵנִיal-te/vo/e/NIlet not come against meרֶגֶלRE/gela footגַּאֲוָהga/a/VAof prideוְיַד־רְשָׁעִיםve/YAD-re/sha/IMand the hand of the wickedאַל־תְּנִדֵנִי׃al-te/ni/DE/nilet not make me wander

    Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me.

13. 13

    שָׁםshamthereנָפְלוּna/fe/LUfellפֹּעֲלֵיPO/a/lethe workers ofאָוֶןA/veniniquityדֹּחוּdo/CHUthey are cast downוְלֹא־יָכְלוּve/LO-ya/khe/LUand are not ableקוּם׃kumto rise

    There are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and shall not be able to rise.
