   A Psalm of David, when he fled from Absalom his son.

   יְהֹוָהAdonaiO LORDמָה־רַבּוּma-rab/BUhow they have increasedצָרָיtsa/RAYmy adversariesרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyקָמִיםka/MIMrise upעָלָי׃a/LAYagainst me

   LORD, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me.

   רַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyאֹמְרִיםom/RIMare sayingלְנַפְשִׁיle/naf/SHIof my soulאֵיןenthere is noיְשׁוּעָתָהye/shu/A/tadeliveranceלּוֹlofor himבֵאלֹהִיםve/lo/HIMin Godסֶלָה׃SE/laSelah

   Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.

   וְאַתָּהve/at/TAbut YouיְהֹוָהAdonaiO LORDמָגֵןma/GENare a shieldבַּעֲדִיba/a/DIfor meכְּבוֹדִיke/vo/DImy gloryוּמֵרִיםu/me/RIMand the lifter up ofרֹאשִׁי׃ro/SHImy head

   But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.

   קוֹלִיko/LIwith my voiceאֶל־יְהֹוָהel-Adonaito the LORDאֶקְרָאek/RAI criedוַיַּעֲנֵנִיvay/ya/a/NE/niand He answered meמֵהַרme/HARfrom the hill ofקׇדְשׁוֹkod/SHOHis holinessסֶלָה׃SE/laSelah

   I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.

   אֲנִיa/NIIשָׁכַבְתִּיsha/KHAV/tilay downוָאִישָׁנָהva/i/SHA/naand sleptהֱקִיצוֹתִיhe/ki/TSO/tiI awokeכִּיkiforיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDיִסְמְכֵנִי׃yis/me/KHE/nisustained me

   I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.

   לֹא־אִירָאlo-i/RAI will not be afraidמֵרִבְבוֹתme/riv/VOTof ten thousands ofעָםampeopleאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoסָבִיבsa/VIVall aroundשָׁתוּSHA/tuhave set themselvesעָלָי׃a/LAYagainst me

   I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.

   קוּמָהku/MAariseיְהֹוָהAdonaiO LORDהוֹשִׁיעֵנִיho/shi/E/nisave meאֱלֹהַיe/lo/HAYO my Godכִּי־הִכִּיתָki-hik/KI/tafor You have struckאֶת־כׇּל־אֹיְבַיet-kol-oy/VAYall my enemiesלֶחִיLE/chion the cheekשִׁנֵּיshin/NEthe teeth ofרְשָׁעִיםre/sha/IMthe wickedשִׁבַּרְתָּ׃shib/BAR/taYou have broken

   Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.

   לַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDהַיְשׁוּעָהhay/shu/Abelongs salvationעַל־עַמְּךָal-am/me/KHAupon Your peopleבִרְכָתֶךָvir/kha/TE/khais Your blessingסֶּלָה׃SE/laSelah

   Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.
