   לְדָוִדof Davidשׇׁפְטֵנִיvindicate meיְהֹוָהO LORDכִּי־אֲנִיfor Iבְּתֻמִּיin my integrityהָלַכְתִּיhave walkedוּבַיהֹוָהand in the LORDבָּטַחְתִּיI trustלֹאnotאֶמְעָד׃I shall slip

   A Psalm of David. Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide.

   בְּחָנֵנִיexamine meיְהֹוָהO LORDוְנַסֵּנִיand prove me(צרופה)[צׇרְפָה]tryכִלְיוֹתַיmy reinsוְלִבִּי׃and my heart

   Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.

   כִּי־חַסְדְּךָfor Your lovingkindnessלְנֶגֶדbeforeעֵינָיmy eyesוְהִתְהַלַּכְתִּיand I have walkedבַּאֲמִתֶּךָ׃in Your truth

   For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth.

   לֹא־יָשַׁבְתִּיI have not satעִם־מְתֵי־שָׁוְאwith vain menוְעִםand withנַעֲלָמִיםdissemblersלֹאnotאָבוֹא׃will I go in

   I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers.

5. 5

   שָׂנֵאתִיI have hatedקְהַלthe assembly ofמְרֵעִיםevildoersוְעִם־רְשָׁעִיםand with the wickedלֹאnotאֵשֵׁב׃will I sit

   I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.

6. 6

   אֶרְחַץI will washבְּנִקָּיוֹןin innocenceכַּפָּיmy handsוַאֲסֹבְבָהso I will go aboutאֶת־מִזְבַּחֲךָYour altarיְהֹוָה׃O LORD

   I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O LORD:

   לַשְׁמִעַto soundבְּקוֹלthe voice ofתּוֹדָהthanksgivingוּלְסַפֵּרand tell ofכׇּל־נִפְלְאוֹתֶיךָ׃all Your wondrous works

   That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.

   יְהֹוָהO LORDאָהַבְתִּיI have lovedמְעוֹןthe habitation ofבֵּיתֶךָYour houseוּמְקוֹםand the place ofמִשְׁכַּןthe dwelling ofכְּבוֹדֶךָ׃Your glory

   LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.

   אַל־תֶּאֱסֹףdo not gatherעִם־חַטָּאִיםwith sinnersנַפְשִׁיmy soulוְעִם־אַנְשֵׁיnor with the men ofדָמִיםbloodshedחַיָּי׃my life

   Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men:

    אֲשֶׁר־בִּידֵיהֶםin whose handsזִמָּהis mischiefוִימִינָםand whose right handמָלְאָהis full ofשֹּׁחַד׃a bribe

    In whose hands is mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes.

11. 11

    וַאֲנִיand Iבְּתֻמִּיin my integrityאֵלֵךְwill walkפְּדֵנִיredeem meוְחׇנֵּנִי׃and be gracious to me

    But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me.

12. 12

    רַגְלִיmy footעָמְדָהstandsבְמִישׁוֹרin an even placeבְּמַקְהֵלִיםin the congregationsאֲבָרֵךְI will blessיְהֹוָה׃the LORD

    My foot standeth in an even place: in the congregations will I bless the LORD.
