1. 1

   לְדָוִדof Davidמִזְמוֹרa psalmלַיהֹוָהto the LORDהָאָרֶץthe earthוּמְלוֹאָהּand all its fullnessתֵּבֵלthe worldוְיֹשְׁבֵיand those who dwellבָהּ׃therein

   A Psalm of David. The earth is the LORD's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

2. 2

   כִּי־הוּאfor Heעַל־יַמִּיםupon the seasיְסָדָהּhas founded itוְעַל־נְהָרוֹתand upon the riversיְכוֹנְנֶהָ׃established it

   For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.

3. 3

   מִי־יַעֲלֶהwho may ascendבְהַר־יְהֹוָהinto the hill of the LORDוּמִי־יָקוּםor who may standבִּמְקוֹםin the place ofקׇדְשׁוֹ׃His holiness

   Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?

   נְקִיhe who has cleanכַפַּיִםhandsוּבַר־לֵבָבand a pure heartאֲשֶׁרwhichלֹא־נָשָׂאhas not lifted upלַשָּׁוְאin vainנַפְשִׁיmy soulוְלֹאand notנִשְׁבַּעhas swornלְמִרְמָה׃deceitfully

   He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

   יִשָּׂאhe shall receiveבְרָכָהblessingמֵאֵתfromיְהֹוָהthe LORDוּצְדָקָהand righteousnessמֵאֱלֹהֵיfrom the God ofיִשְׁעוֹ׃his salvation

   He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

6. 6

   זֶהthisדּוֹרthe generationדֹּרְשָׁוof those who seek Himמְבַקְשֵׁיwho seekפָנֶיךָYour faceיַעֲקֹבJacobסֶלָה׃Selah

   This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.

   שְׂאוּlift upשְׁעָרִיםO gatesרָאשֵׁיכֶםyour headsוְהִנָּשְׂאוּand be lifted upפִּתְחֵיO doors ofעוֹלָםeternityוְיָבוֹאand shall come inמֶלֶךְthe King ofהַכָּבוֹד׃glory

   Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

   מִיwhoזֶהthisמֶלֶךְthe King ofהַכָּבוֹדgloryיְהֹוָהthe LORDעִזּוּזstrongוְגִבּוֹרand mightyיְהֹוָהthe LORDגִּבּוֹרmightyמִלְחָמָה׃in battle

   Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.

9. 9

   שְׂאוּlift upשְׁעָרִיםO gatesרָאשֵׁיכֶםyour headsוּשְׂאוּand lift upפִּתְחֵיO doors ofעוֹלָםeternityוְיָבֹאand shall come inמֶלֶךְthe King ofהַכָּבוֹד׃glory

   Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

    מִי־הוּאwho isזֶהthisמֶלֶךְthe King ofהַכָּבוֹדgloryיְהֹוָהthe LORDצְבָאוֹתof HostsהוּאHe isמֶלֶךְthe King ofהַכָּבוֹדgloryסֶלָה׃Selah

    Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.
