1. 1

   לַמְנַצֵּחַto the chief musicianמִזְמוֹרa psalmלְדָוִד׃of David

   To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.

2. 2

   יַעַנְךָmay he answer youיְהֹוָהthe LORDבְּיוֹםin the day ofצָרָהtroubleיְשַׂגֶּבְךָmay it set you on highשֵׁםthe name ofאֱלֹהֵיthe God ofיַעֲקֹב׃Jacob

   The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;

   יִשְׁלַח־עֶזְרְךָmay He send your helpמִקֹּדֶשׁfrom the sanctuaryוּמִצִּיּוֹןand from Zionיִסְעָדֶךָּ׃may He strengthen you

   Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;

   יִזְכֹּרmay He rememberכׇּל־מִנְחֹתֶךָall your offeringsוְעוֹלָתְךָand your burnt offeringיְדַשְּׁנֶהmay He acceptסֶלָה׃Selah

   Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.

   יִתֶּן־לְךָmay He give youכִלְבָבֶךָaccording to your heartוְכׇל־עֲצָתְךָand all your planיְמַלֵּא׃may He fulfill

   Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.

6. 6

   נְרַנְּנָהwe will shout for joyבִּישׁוּעָתֶךָin Your salvationוּבְשֵׁם־אֱלֹהֵינוּand in the name of our Godנִדְגֹּלwe will raise a bannerיְמַלֵּאmay fulfillיְהֹוָהthe LORDכׇּל־מִשְׁאֲלוֹתֶיךָ׃all your desires

   We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfil all thy petitions.

   עַתָּהnowיָדַעְתִּיI knowכִּיthatהוֹשִׁיעַsavesיְהֹוָהthe LORDמְשִׁיחוֹHis anointedיַעֲנֵהוּHe answers himמִשְּׁמֵיfrom the heavens ofקׇדְשׁוֹHis holinessבִּגְבֻרוֹתwith the mighty deeds ofיֵשַׁעsalvation ofיְמִינוֹ׃His right hand

   Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.

8. 8

   אֵלֶּהtheseבָרֶכֶבin chariotsוְאֵלֶּהand theseבַסּוּסִיםin horsesוַאֲנַחְנוּbut weבְּשֵׁם־יְהֹוָהin the name of the LORDאֱלֹהֵינוּour Godנַזְכִּיר׃we will make mention

   Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.

9. 9

   הֵמָּהtheyכָּרְעוּthey kneltוְנָפָלוּand fellוַאֲנַחְנוּbut weקַּמְנוּwe have risenוַנִּתְעוֹדָד׃and stand upright

   They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.

10. 10

    יְהֹוָהO LORDהוֹשִׁיעָהsaveהַמֶּלֶךְO Kingיַעֲנֵנוּmay he answer usבְיוֹם־קׇרְאֵנוּ׃on the day we call

    Save, LORD: let the king hear us when we call.
