   הַלְלוּ־יָהּHAL/lu-yapraise the LORDהַלְלִיhal/LIpraiseנַפְשִׁיnaf/SHIO my soulאֶת־יְהֹוָה׃et-Adonaithe LORD

   Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul.

   אֲהַלְלָהa/hal/LAI will praiseיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDבְּחַיָּיbe/chay/YAYwhile I liveאֲזַמְּרָהa/zam/me/RAI will sing praisesלֵאלֹהַיle/lo/HAYto my Godבְּעוֹדִי׃be/o/DIwhile I yet live

   While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.

   אַל־תִּבְטְחוּal-tiv/te/CHUput not your trustבִנְדִיבִיםvin/di/VIMin princesבְּבֶן־אָדָםbe/VEN-a/DAMnor in the son of manשֶׁאֵיןSHE/enin whom there is noלוֹlowith himתְשׁוּעָה׃te/shu/Asalvation

   Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

   תֵּצֵאte/TSEgoes forthרוּחוֹru/CHOhis spiritיָשֻׁבya/SHUVhe returnsלְאַדְמָתוֹle/ad/ma/TOto his groundבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMin the dayהַהוּאha/HUthatאָבְדוּa/ve/DUperishעֶשְׁתֹּנֹתָיו׃esh/to/no/TAYVhis plans

   His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.

   אַשְׁרֵיash/REblessed is heשֶׁאֵלshe/ELwho has the God ofיַעֲקֹבYa/a/KOVJacobבְּעֶזְרוֹbe/ez/ROfor his helpשִׂבְרוֹsiv/ROwhose hope isעַל־יְהֹוָהal-Adonaiupon the LORDאֱלֹהָיו׃e/lo/HAYVhis God

   Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:

   עֹשֶׂהo/SEwho madeשָׁמַיִםsha/MA/yimthe heavensוָאָרֶץva/A/retsand earthאֶת־הַיָּםet-hay/YAMthe seaוְאֶת־כׇּל־אֲשֶׁר־בָּםve/ET-kol-a/SHER-bamand all that is in themהַשֹּׁמֵרhash/sho/MERwho keepsאֱמֶתe/METtruthלְעוֹלָם׃le/o/LAMforever

   Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:

   עֹשֶׂהo/SEwho executesמִשְׁפָּטmish/PATjusticeלָעֲשׁוּקִיםla/a/shu/KIMfor the oppressedנֹתֵןno/TENwho givesלֶחֶםLE/chembreadלָרְעֵבִיםla/re/e/VIMto the hungryיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDמַתִּירmat/TIRsets freeאֲסוּרִים׃a/su/RIMthe prisoners

   Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners:

   יְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDפֹּקֵחַpo/KE/achopens the eyes ofעִוְרִיםiv/RIMthe blindיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDזֹקֵףzo/KEFraises upכְּפוּפִיםke/fu/FIMthose who are bowed downיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֹהֵבo/HEVlovesצַדִּיקִים׃tsad/di/KIMthe righteous

   The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous:

   יְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDשֹׁמֵרsho/MERpreservesאֶת־גֵּרִיםet-ge/RIMthe strangersיָתוֹםya/TOMthe fatherlessוְאַלְמָנָהve/al/ma/NAand widowיְעוֹדֵדye/o/DEDHe upholdsוְדֶרֶךְve/DE/rekhand the way ofרְשָׁעִיםre/sha/IMthe wickedיְעַוֵּת׃ye/av/VETHe makes crooked

   The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.

    יִמְלֹךְyim/LOKHshall reignיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDלְעוֹלָםle/o/LAMforeverאֱלֹהַיִךְe/lo/HA/yikhyour GodצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONO Zionלְדֹרle/DORto generationוָדֹרva/DORand generationהַלְלוּ־יָהּ׃HAL/lu-yapraise the LORD

    The LORD shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the LORD.
