   תְּהִלָּהa praiseלְדָוִדof DavidאֲרוֹמִמְךָI will extol Youאֱלוֹהַיmy Godהַמֶּלֶךְthe Kingוַאֲבָרְכָהand I will blessשִׁמְךָYour nameלְעוֹלָםforeverוָעֶד׃and ever

   David's Psalm of praise. I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.

2. 2

   בְּכׇל־יוֹםevery dayאֲבָרְכֶךָּwill I bless Youוַאֲהַלְלָהand I will praiseשִׁמְךָYour nameלְעוֹלָםforeverוָעֶד׃and ever

   Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.

   גָּדוֹלgreat isיְהֹוָהthe LORDוּמְהֻלָּלand greatly to be praisedמְאֹדexceedinglyוְלִגְדֻלָּתוֹand His greatness isאֵיןthere is noחֵקֶר׃searching out

   Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.

   דּוֹרone generationלְדוֹרto anotherיְשַׁבַּחshall praiseמַעֲשֶׂיךָYour worksוּגְבוּרֹתֶיךָand Your mighty actsיַגִּידוּ׃shall declare

   One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.

   הֲדַרthe majesty ofכְּבוֹדthe gloryהוֹדֶךָof Your splendorוְדִבְרֵיand the words ofנִפְלְאֹתֶיךָYour marvelous worksאָשִׂיחָה׃I will meditate

   I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.

   וֶעֱזוּזand the might ofנוֹרְאֹתֶיךָYour awesome actsיֹאמֵרוּthey shall speak of[וּגְדֻלָּתְךָ]and Your greatnessאֲסַפְּרֶנָּה׃I will declare it

   And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness.

7. 7

   זֵכֶרthe remembrance ofרַב־טוּבְךָof Your great goodnessיַבִּיעוּthey shall utterוְצִדְקָתְךָand of Your righteousnessיְרַנֵּנוּ׃they shall sing

   They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness.

8. 8

   חַנּוּןgraciousוְרַחוּםand full of compassionיְהֹוָהis the LORDאֶרֶךְslowאַפַּיִםto angerוּגְדׇל־חָסֶד׃and of great mercy

   The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.

9. 9

   טוֹב־יְהֹוָהthe LORD is goodלַכֹּלto allוְרַחֲמָיוand His tender mercies areעַל־כׇּל־מַעֲשָׂיו׃upon all His works

   The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

10. 10

    יוֹדוּךָshall praise YouיְהֹוָהO LORDכׇּל־מַעֲשֶׂיךָall Your worksוַחֲסִידֶיךָand Your pious onesיְבָרְכוּכָה׃shall bless You

    All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee.

11. 11

    כְּבוֹדof the glory ofמַלְכוּתְךָYour kingdomיֹאמֵרוּthey shall speakוּגְבוּרָתְךָand of Your powerיְדַבֵּרוּ׃they shall talk

    They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power;

12. 12

    לְהוֹדִיעַto make knownלִבְנֵיto the sons ofהָאָדָםmenגְּבוּרֹתָיוHis mighty actsוּכְבוֹדand the glory ofהֲדַרthe majesty ofמַלְכוּתוֹ׃His kingdom

    To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.

13. 13

    מַלְכוּתְךָYour kingdom isמַלְכוּתa kingdom ofכׇּל־עֹלָמִיםall agesוּמֶמְשַׁלְתְּךָand Your dominion enduresבְּכׇל־דּוֹרthrough all generationוָדֹר׃and generation

    Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.

14. 14

    סוֹמֵךְupholdsיְהֹוָהthe LORDלְכׇל־הַנֹּפְלִיםall who fallוְזוֹקֵףand raises upלְכׇל־הַכְּפוּפִים׃all those who are bowed down

    The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.

15. 15

    עֵינֵי־כֹלthe eyes of allאֵלֶיךָupon Youיְשַׂבֵּרוּwaitוְאַתָּהand Youנוֹתֵן־לָהֶםgive themאֶת־אׇכְלָםtheir foodבְּעִתּוֹ׃in due season

    The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.

16. 16

    פּוֹתֵחַYou openאֶת־יָדֶךָYour handוּמַשְׂבִּיעַand satisfyלְכׇל־חַיevery living thingרָצוֹן׃with favor

    Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.

17. 17

    צַדִּיקis righteousיְהֹוָהthe LORDבְּכׇל־דְּרָכָיוin all His waysוְחָסִידand graciousבְּכׇל־מַעֲשָׂיו׃in all His works

    The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.

18. 18

    קָרוֹבis nearיְהֹוָהthe LORDלְכׇל־קֹרְאָיוto all who call upon Himלְכֹלto allאֲשֶׁרwhichיִקְרָאֻהוּcall upon Himבֶאֱמֶת׃in truth

    The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.

19. 19

    רְצוֹן־יְרֵאָיוthe desire of those who fear HimיַעֲשֶׂהHe will fulfilוְאֶת־שַׁוְעָתָםand their cryיִשְׁמַעHe will hearוְיוֹשִׁיעֵם׃and will save them

    He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.

20. 20

    שׁוֹמֵרpreservesיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֶת־כׇּל־אֹהֲבָיוall who love Himוְאֵתbutכׇּל־הָרְשָׁעִיםall the wickedיַשְׁמִיד׃He will destroy

    The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.

21. 21

    תְּהִלַּתthe praise ofיְהֹוָהthe LORDיְדַבֶּר־פִּיmy mouth shall speakוִיבָרֵךְand let blessכׇּל־בָּשָׂרall fleshשֵׁםthe name ofקׇדְשׁוֹHis holinessלְעוֹלָםforeverוָעֶד׃and ever

    My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.
