   חַלְּצֵנִיchal/le/TSE/nideliver meיְהֹוָהAdonaiO LORDמֵאָדָםme/a/DAMfrom manרָעraevilמֵאִישׁme/ISHfrom the man ofחֲמָסִיםcha/ma/SIMviolenceתִּנְצְרֵנִי׃tin/tse/RE/nipreserve me

   Deliver me, O LORD, from the evil man: preserve me from the violent man;

   אֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoחָשְׁבוּcha/she/VUdeviseרָעוֹתra/OTevilsבְּלֵבbe/LEVin the heartכׇּל־יוֹםkol-yomcontinuallyיָגוּרוּya/GU/ruthey stir upמִלְחָמוֹת׃mil/cha/MOTwars

   Which imagine mischiefs in their heart; continually are they gathered together for war.

   שָׁנְנוּsha/ne/NUthey have sharpenedלְשׁוֹנָםle/sho/NAMtheir tonguesכְּמוֹ־נָחָשׁke/MO-na/CHASHlike a serpentחֲמַתcha/MATthe venom ofעַכְשׁוּבakh/SHUVan adderתַּחַתTA/chatis underשְׂפָתֵימוֹse/fa/TE/motheir lipsסֶלָה׃SE/laSelah

   They have sharpened their tongues like a serpent; adders' poison is under their lips. Selah.

   שׇׁמְרֵנִיshom/RE/nikeep meיְהֹוָהAdonaiO LORDמִידֵיMI/defrom the hands ofרָשָׁעra/SHAthe wickedמֵאִישׁme/ISHfrom the man ofחֲמָסִיםcha/ma/SIMviolenceתִּנְצְרֵנִיtin/tse/RE/nipreserve meאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoחָשְׁבוּcha/she/VUhave plannedלִדְחוֹתlid/CHOTto thrust asideפְּעָמָי׃pe/a/MAYmy steps

   Keep me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from the violent man; who have purposed to overthrow my goings.

   טָמְנוּ־גֵאִיםta/me/NU-ge/IMthe proud have hiddenפַּחpacha snareלִיlifor meוַחֲבָלִיםva/cha/va/LIMand cordsפָּרְשׂוּPAR/suthey have spreadרֶשֶׁתRE/sheta netלְיַד־מַעְגָּלle/YAD-ma/GALbeside the pathמֹקְשִׁיםmok/SHIMtrapsשָׁתוּ־לִיSHA/tu-lithey have set for meסֶלָה׃SE/laSelah

   The proud have hid a snare for me, and cords; they have spread a net by the wayside; they have set gins for me. Selah.

   אָמַרְתִּיa/MAR/tiI saidלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDאֵלִיe/LImy GodאָתָּהAT/taYou areהַאֲזִינָהha/a/ZI/nagive earיְהֹוָהAdonaiO LORDקוֹלkolto the voice ofתַּחֲנוּנָי׃ta/cha/nu/NAYmy supplications

   I said unto the LORD, Thou art my God: hear the voice of my supplications, O LORD.

   יֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe Lordעֹזozthe strength ofיְשׁוּעָתִיye/shu/a/TImy salvationסַכֹּתָהsak/KO/taYou have coveredלְרֹאשִׁיle/ro/SHImy headבְּיוֹםbe/YOMin the day ofנָשֶׁק׃NA/shekbattle

   O GOD the Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.

   אַל־תִּתֵּןal-tit/TENdo not grantיְהֹוָהAdonaiO LORDמַאֲוַיֵּיma/a/vay/YEthe desires ofרָשָׁעra/SHAthe wickedזְמָמוֹze/ma/MOhis plotאַל־תָּפֵקal-ta/FEKdo not furtherיָרוּמוּya/RU/muthey would be exaltedסֶלָה׃SE/laSelah

   Grant not, O LORD, the desires of the wicked: further not his wicked device; lest they exalt themselves. Selah.

10. 10

    רֹאשׁroshthe head ofמְסִבָּיme/sib/BAYthose who surround meעֲמַלa/MALthe mischief ofשְׂפָתֵימוֹse/fa/TE/motheir lips[יְכַסֵּימוֹ]׃ye/khas/SE/molet it cover them

    As for the head of those that compass me about, let the mischief of their own lips cover them.

    (ימיטו)yamayatav[יִמּוֹטוּ]yim/MO/tulet fallעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMon themגֶּחָלִיםge/cha/LIMcoalsבָּאֵשׁba/ESHinto the fireיַפִּלֵםyap/pi/LEMlet Him cast themבְּמַהֲמֹרוֹתbe/ma/ha/mo/ROTinto deep pitsבַּל־יָקוּמוּ׃bal-ya/KU/muthat they rise not up

    Let burning coals fall upon them: let them be cast into the fire; into deep pits, that they rise not up again.

    אִישׁisha man ofלָשׁוֹןla/SHONtongueבַּל־יִכּוֹןbal-yik/KONwill not be establishedבָּאָרֶץba/A/retsin the earthאִישׁ־חָמָסish-cha/MASthe man of violenceרָעraevilיְצוּדֶנּוּye/tsu/DEN/nuwill hunt himלְמַדְחֵפֹת׃le/mad/che/FOTwith thrust upon thrust

    Let not an evil speaker be established in the earth: evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him.

13. 13

    (ידעת)yadt[יָדַעְתִּי]ya/DA/tiI knowכִּי־יַעֲשֶׂהki-ya/a/SEthat will maintainיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDדִּיןdinthe cause ofעָנִיa/NIthe afflictedמִשְׁפַּטmish/PATthe justice ofאֶבְיֹנִים׃ev/yo/NIMthe needy

    I know that the LORD will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and the right of the poor.

14. 14

    אַךְakhsurelyצַדִּיקִיםtsad/di/KIMthe righteousיוֹדוּyo/DUshall give thanksלִשְׁמֶךָlish/ME/khato Your nameיֵשְׁבוּyesh/VUwill dwellיְשָׁרִיםye/sha/RIMthe uprightאֶת־פָּנֶיךָ׃et-pa/NE/khain Your presence

    Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto thy name: the upright shall dwell in thy presence.
