   הוֹדוּgive thanksלַיהֹוָהto the LORDכִּי־טוֹבfor He is goodכִּיbecauseלְעוֹלָםforeverחַסְדּוֹ׃His lovingkindness

   O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

2. 2

   הוֹדוּgive thanksלֵאלֹהֵיto the God ofהָאֱלֹהִיםgodsכִּיforלְעוֹלָםforeverחַסְדּוֹ׃His lovingkindness

   O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.

   To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever.

   לְעֹשֵׂהto Him who doesהַשָּׁמַיִםthe heavensבִּתְבוּנָהby understandingכִּיforלְעוֹלָםforeverחַסְדּוֹ׃His lovingkindness

   To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever.

   לְרֹקַעto Him who spread outהָאָרֶץthe earthעַל־הַמָּיִםupon the watersכִּיforלְעוֹלָםforeverחַסְדּוֹ׃His lovingkindness

   To him that stretched out the earth above the waters: for his mercy endureth for ever.

   לְעֹשֵׂהto Him who doesאוֹרִיםlightsגְּדֹלִיםgreatכִּיforלְעוֹלָםforeverחַסְדּוֹ׃His lovingkindness

   To him that made great lights: for his mercy endureth for ever:

   אֶת־הַשֶּׁמֶשׁthe sunלְמֶמְשֶׁלֶתto ruleבַּיּוֹםby dayכִּיforלְעוֹלָםforeverחַסְדּוֹ׃His lovingkindness

   The sun to rule by day: for his mercy endureth for ever:

   אֶת־הַיָּרֵחַthe moonוְכוֹכָבִיםand the starsלְמֶמְשְׁלוֹתto ruleבַּלָּיְלָהby nightכִּיforלְעוֹלָםforeverחַסְדּוֹ׃His lovingkindness

   The moon and stars to rule by night: for his mercy endureth for ever.

    לְמַכֵּהto Him who smoteמִצְרַיִםEgyptבִּבְכוֹרֵיהֶםin their firstbornכִּיforלְעוֹלָםforeverחַסְדּוֹ׃His lovingkindness

    To him that smote Egypt in their firstborn: for his mercy endureth for ever:

    וַיּוֹצֵאand brought outיִשְׂרָאֵלIsraelמִתּוֹכָםfrom among themכִּיforלְעוֹלָםforeverחַסְדּוֹ׃His lovingkindness

    And brought out Israel from among them: for his mercy endureth for ever:

12. 12

    בְּיָדwith a handחֲזָקָהmightyוּבִזְרוֹעַand by an armנְטוּיָהstretched outכִּיforלְעוֹלָםforeverחַסְדּוֹ׃His lovingkindness

    With a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm: for his mercy endureth for ever.

    לְגֹזֵרto Him who dividedיַם־סוּףthe Red Seaלִגְזָרִיםinto partsכִּיforלְעוֹלָםforeverחַסְדּוֹ׃His lovingkindness

    To him which divided the Red sea into parts: for his mercy endureth for ever:

    וְהֶעֱבִירand made passיִשְׂרָאֵלIsraelבְּתוֹכוֹin the midst thereofכִּיforלְעוֹלָםforeverחַסְדּוֹ׃His lovingkindness

    And made Israel to pass through the midst of it: for his mercy endureth for ever:

    וְנִעֵרbut overthrewפַּרְעֹהPharaohוְחֵילוֹand his hostבְיַם־סוּףin the Red Seaכִּיforלְעוֹלָםforeverחַסְדּוֹ׃His lovingkindness

    But overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red sea: for his mercy endureth for ever.

    לְמוֹלִיךְto Him who ledעַמּוֹHis peopleבַּמִּדְבָּרin the wildernessכִּיforלְעוֹלָםforeverחַסְדּוֹ׃His lovingkindness

    To him which led his people through the wilderness: for his mercy endureth for ever.

    לְמַכֵּהto Him who smoteמְלָכִיםkingsגְּדֹלִיםgreatכִּיforלְעוֹלָםforeverחַסְדּוֹ׃His lovingkindness

    To him which smote great kings: for his mercy endureth for ever:

    וַיַּהֲרֹגand slewמְלָכִיםkingsאַדִּירִיםfamousכִּיforלְעוֹלָםforeverחַסְדּוֹ׃His lovingkindness

    And slew famous kings: for his mercy endureth for ever:

    לְסִיחוֹןto Sihonמֶלֶךְking ofהָאֱמֹרִיthe Amoriteכִּיforלְעוֹלָםforeverחַסְדּוֹ׃His lovingkindness

    Sihon king of the Amorites: for his mercy endureth for ever:

    וּלְעוֹגand to Ogמֶלֶךְking ofהַבָּשָׁןBashanכִּיforלְעוֹלָםforeverחַסְדּוֹ׃His lovingkindness

    And Og the king of Bashan: for his mercy endureth for ever:

    וְנָתַןand gaveאַרְצָםtheir landלְנַחֲלָהfor a heritageכִּיbecauseלְעוֹלָםforeverחַסְדּוֹ׃His lovingkindness

    And gave their land for an heritage: for his mercy endureth for ever:

22. 22

    נַחֲלָהa heritageלְיִשְׂרָאֵלto IsraelעַבְדּוֹHis servantכִּיforלְעוֹלָםforeverחַסְדּוֹ׃His lovingkindness

    Even an heritage unto Israel his servant: for his mercy endureth for ever.

23. 23

    שֶׁבְּשִׁפְלֵנוּwho in our low estateזָכַרrememberedלָנוּusכִּיforלְעוֹלָםforeverחַסְדּוֹ׃His lovingkindness

    Who remembered us in our low estate: for his mercy endureth for ever:

24. 24

    וַיִּפְרְקֵנוּand has redeemed usמִצָּרֵינוּfrom our adversariesכִּיforלְעוֹלָםforeverחַסְדּוֹ׃His lovingkindness

    And hath redeemed us from our enemies: for his mercy endureth for ever.

25. 25

    נֹתֵןwho givesלֶחֶםbreadלְכׇל־בָּשָׂרto all fleshכִּיforלְעוֹלָםforeverחַסְדּוֹ׃His lovingkindness

    Who giveth food to all flesh: for his mercy endureth for ever.
