   שִׁירa songהַמַּעֲלוֹתof ascentsלְדָוִדof Davidהִנֵּהbeholdמַה־טּוֹבhow goodוּמַה־נָּעִיםand how pleasant it isשֶׁבֶתfor to dwellאַחִיםbrethrenגַּם־יָחַד׃together in unity

   A Song of degrees of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

   כַּשֶּׁמֶןlike the oilהַטּוֹבthe preciousעַל־הָרֹאשׁupon the headיֹרֵדrunning downעַל־הַזָּקָןupon the beardזְקַן־אַהֲרֹןthe beard of Aaronשֶׁיֹּרֵדrunning downעַל־פִּיto the collar ofמִדּוֹתָיו׃his garments

   It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;

   כְּטַל־חֶרְמוֹןas the dew of Hermonשֶׁיֹּרֵדthat comes downעַל־הַרְרֵיupon the mountains ofצִיּוֹןZionכִּיbecauseשָׁםthereצִוָּהcommandedיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֶת־הַבְּרָכָהthe blessingחַיִּיםeven lifeעַד־הָעוֹלָם׃for evermore

   As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.
