   לַמְנַצֵּחַto the chief musicianמִזְמוֹרa psalmלְדָוִד׃of David

   To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.

2. 2

   עַד־אָנָהhow longיְהֹוָהthe LORDתִּשְׁכָּחֵנִיwill You forget meנֶצַחforeverעַד־אָנָהhow longתַּסְתִּירwill You hideאֶת־פָּנֶיךָYour faceמִמֶּנִּי׃from me

   How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?

3. 3

   עַד־אָנָהhow longאָשִׁיתshall I takeעֵצוֹתcounselבְּנַפְשִׁיin my soulיָגוֹןsorrowבִּלְבָבִיin my heartיוֹמָםdailyעַד־אָנָהhow longיָרוּםwill be exaltedאֹיְבִיmy enemyעָלָי׃over me

   How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?

   הַבִּיטָהconsiderעֲנֵנִיhear meיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֱלֹהָיmy Godהָאִירָהenlightenעֵינַיmy eyesפֶּן־אִישַׁןlest I sleepהַמָּוֶת׃the sleep of death

   Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;

   פֶּן־יֹאמַרlest sayאֹיְבִיmy enemyיְכׇלְתִּיוI have prevailed against himצָרַיthose who trouble meיָגִילוּrejoiceכִּיbecauseאֶמּוֹט׃I am moved

   Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.

6. 6

   וַאֲנִיand Iבְּחַסְדְּךָin Your mercyבָטַחְתִּיI trustיָגֵלshall rejoiceלִבִּיmy heartבִּישׁוּעָתֶךָin Your salvationאָשִׁירָהI will singלַיהֹוָהto the LORDכִּיbecauseגָמַלHe has dealt bountifullyעָלָי׃with me

   But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation. I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.
