   שִׁירshira songהַמַּעֲלוֹתham/ma/a/LOTof ascentsהַבֹּטְחִיםhab/bot/CHIMthose who trustבַּיהֹוָהba-Adonaiin the LORDכְּהַר־צִיּוֹןke/HAR-tsiy/YONare like Mount Zionלֹא־יִמּוֹטlo-yim/MOTit cannot be movedלְעוֹלָםle/o/LAMforeverיֵשֵׁב׃ye/SHEVit abides

   A Song of degrees. They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.

   יְרוּשָׁלַ͏ִםYe/ru/sha/LA/yimJerusalemהָרִיםha/RIMthe mountains areסָבִיבsa/VIVare aroundלָהּlaherוַיהֹוָהve-Adonaiand the LORDסָבִיבsa/VIVround aboutלְעַמּוֹle/am/MOHis peopleמֵעַתָּהme/at/TAfrom this timeוְעַד־עוֹלָם׃ve/AD-o/LAMand forever

   As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.

   כִּיkiforלֹאlonotיָנוּחַya/NU/achshall restשֵׁבֶטSHE/vetthe rod ofהָרֶשַׁעha/RE/shawickednessעַלaluponגּוֹרַלgo/RALthe lot ofהַצַּדִּיקִיםhats/tsad/di/KIMthe righteousלְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatלֹא־יִשְׁלְחוּlo-yish/le/CHUdo not stretch outהַצַּדִּיקִיםhats/tsad/di/KIMthe righteousבְּעַוְלָתָהbe/av/LA/tato iniquityיְדֵיהֶם׃ye/de/HEMtheir hands

   For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.

   הֵיטִיבָהhe/TI/vado goodיְהֹוָהAdonaiO LORDלַטּוֹבִיםlat/to/VIMto those who are goodוְלִישָׁרִיםve/li/sha/RIMand to those who are uprightבְּלִבּוֹתָם׃be/lib/bo/TAMin their hearts

   Do good, O LORD, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.

   וְהַמַּטִּיםve/ham/mat/TIMbut those who turn aside toעֲקַלְקַלּוֹתָםa/kal/kal/lo/TAMtheir crooked waysיוֹלִיכֵםyo/li/KHEMwill lead them awayיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶת־פֹּעֲלֵיet-po/a/LEwith the workers ofהָאָוֶןha/A/veniniquityשָׁלוֹםsha/LOMpeaceעַל־יִשְׂרָאֵל׃al-Yis/ra/ELupon Israel

   As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.
