   אַשְׁרֵיblessed areתְמִימֵי־דָרֶךְare the blameless in the wayהַהֹלְכִיםwho walkבְּתוֹרַתthe law ofיְהֹוָה׃the LORD

   Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.

2. 2

   אַשְׁרֵיblessed areנֹצְרֵיare those who keepעֵדֹתָיוHis testimoniesבְּכׇל־לֵבwith my whole heartיִדְרְשׁוּהוּ׃who seek Him

   Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.

   אַףmoreoverלֹא־פָעֲלוּthey do noעַוְלָהinjusticeבִּדְרָכָיוin His waysהָלָכוּ׃they walk

   They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.

   אַתָּהYouצִוִּיתָהYou have commandedפִקֻּדֶיךָYour preceptsלִשְׁמֹרto keepמְאֹד׃greatly

   Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.

5. 5

   אַחֲלַיwould thatיִכֹּנוּthey will be steadfastדְרָכָיmy waysלִשְׁמֹרto keepחֻקֶּיךָ׃Your statutes

   O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!

6. 6

   אָזthenלֹא־אֵבוֹשׁnot shall I be ashamedבְּהַבִּיטִיas I lookedאֶל־כׇּל־מִצְוֺתֶיךָ׃to all Your commandments

   Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.

7. 7

   אוֹדְךָI will praise Youבְּיֹשֶׁרuprightlyלֵבָבof heartבְּלׇמְדִיwhen I have learnedמִשְׁפְּטֵיthe judgments ofצִדְקֶךָ׃Your righteousness

   I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.

   אֶת־חֻקֶּיךָYour statutesאֶשְׁמֹרI will keepאַל־תַּעַזְבֵנִיdo not forsake meעַד־מְאֹד׃utterly

   I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly.

9. 9

   בַּמֶּהwhereinיְזַכֶּה־נַּעַרshall a young man cleanseאֶת־אׇרְחוֹhis pathלִשְׁמֹרto keepכִּדְבָרֶךָ׃according to Your word

   Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.

    בְּכׇל־לִבִּיwith my whole heartדְרַשְׁתִּיךָI seek Youאַל־תַּשְׁגֵּנִיdo not let me wanderמִמִּצְוֺתֶיךָ׃of Your commandments

    With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.

11. 11

    בְּלִבִּיin my heartצָפַנְתִּיI have treasured upאִמְרָתֶךָYour wordלְמַעַןthatלֹאnotאֶחֱטָא־לָךְ׃I will sin for You

    Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

12. 12

    בָּרוּךְblessedאַתָּהYouיְהֹוָהthe LORDלַמְּדֵנִיteach meחֻקֶּיךָ׃Your statutes

    Blessed art thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes.

13. 13

    בִּשְׂפָתַיwith my lipsסִפַּרְתִּיI have declaredכֹּלallמִשְׁפְּטֵי־פִיךָ׃the judgments of Your mouth

    With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.

14. 14

    בְּדֶרֶךְin the wayעֵדְוֺתֶיךָYour testimoniesשַּׂשְׂתִּיI have rejoicedכְּעַלas onכׇּל־הוֹן׃all wealth

    I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.

15. 15

    בְּפִקּוּדֶיךָon Your preceptsאָשִׂיחָהI will meditateוְאַבִּיטָהand I will pay attention toאֹרְחֹתֶיךָ׃Your paths

    I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.

16. 16

    בְּחֻקֹּתֶיךָin Your statutesאֶשְׁתַּעֲשָׁעI will delight myselfלֹאnotאֶשְׁכַּחI will forgetדְּבָרֶךָ׃Your word

    I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.

17. 17

    גְּמֹלdeal bountifullyעַל־עַבְדְּךָwith Your servantאֶחְיֶהI will liveוְאֶשְׁמְרָהand I will keepדְבָרֶךָ׃Your word

    Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word.

18. 18

    גַּל־עֵינַיopen my eyesוְאַבִּיטָהand I will pay attention toנִפְלָאוֹתwondersמִתּוֹרָתֶךָ׃from Your law

    Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.

19. 19

    גֵּרa sojournerאָנֹכִיIבָאָרֶץin the landאַל־תַּסְתֵּרdo not hideמִמֶּנִּיfrom meמִצְוֺתֶיךָ׃Your commandments

    I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.

20. 20

    גָּרְסָהbreaksנַפְשִׁיmy soulלְתַאֲבָהfor longingאֶל־מִשְׁפָּטֶיךָfor Your judgmentsבְכׇל־עֵת׃at all times

    My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto thy judgments at all times.

21. 21

    גָּעַרְתָּYou have rebukedזֵדִיםthe insolentאֲרוּרִיםcursedהַשֹּׁגִיםthose who go astrayמִמִּצְוֺתֶיךָ׃of Your commandments

    Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do err from thy commandments.

22. 22

    גַּלremoveמֵעָלַיfrom meחֶרְפָּהreproachוָבוּזand contemptכִּיforעֵדֹתֶיךָYour testimoniesנָצָרְתִּי׃I have kept

    Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy testimonies.

23. 23

    גַּםalsoיָשְׁבוּdweltשָׂרִיםprincesבִּיwith meנִדְבָּרוּthey speak togetherעַבְדְּךָYour servantיָשִׂיחַhe meditatesבְּחֻקֶּיךָ׃in Your statutes

    Princes also did sit and speak against me: but thy servant did meditate in thy statutes.

    גַּם־עֵדֹתֶיךָalso Your testimoniesשַׁעֲשֻׁעָיis my delightאַנְשֵׁיthe men ofעֲצָתִי׃my counsel

    Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counsellors.

25. 25

    דָּבְקָהshe clungלֶעָפָרto the dustנַפְשִׁיmy soulחַיֵּנִיrevive meכִּדְבָרֶךָ׃according to Your word

    My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word.

    דְּרָכַיmy waysסִפַּרְתִּיI have declaredוַתַּעֲנֵנִיand You answered meלַמְּדֵנִיteach meחֻקֶּיךָ׃Your statutes

    I have declared my ways, and thou heardest me: teach me thy statutes.

27. 27

    דֶּרֶךְ־פִּקּוּדֶיךָthrough Your preceptsהֲבִינֵנִיgive me understandingוְאָשִׂיחָהso let me meditateבְּנִפְלְאוֹתֶיךָ׃on Your wonders

    Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works.

    דָּלְפָהmeltsנַפְשִׁיmy soulמִתּוּגָהfrom griefקַיְּמֵנִיstrengthen meכִּדְבָרֶךָ׃according to Your word

    My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according unto thy word.

29. 29

    דֶּרֶךְ־שֶׁקֶרthrough falseהָסֵרremoveמִמֶּנִּיfrom meוְתוֹרָתְךָand Your lawחׇנֵּנִי׃be gracious to me

    Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me thy law graciously.

30. 30

    דֶּרֶךְ־אֱמוּנָהthrough faithבָחָרְתִּיI have chosenמִשְׁפָּטֶיךָYour judgmentsשִׁוִּיתִי׃I have set

    I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid before me.

31. 31

    דָּבַקְתִּיI have clungבְעֵדְוֺתֶיךָin Your testimoniesיְהֹוָהthe LORDאַל־תְּבִישֵׁנִי׃do not put me to shame

    I have stuck unto thy testimonies: O LORD, put me not to shame.

32. 32

    דֶּרֶךְ־מִצְוֺתֶיךָthrough Your commandmentsאָרוּץI will runכִּיforתַרְחִיבYou enlargeלִבִּי׃my heart

    I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart.

33. 33

    הוֹרֵנִיteach meיְהֹוָהthe LORDדֶּרֶךְthe way ofחֻקֶּיךָYour statutesוְאֶצְּרֶנָּהso I may observe itעֵקֶב׃to the end

    Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end.

34. 34

    הֲבִינֵנִיgive me understandingוְאֶצְּרָהso let me observeתוֹרָתֶךָYour lawוְאֶשְׁמְרֶנָּהso I may keep itבְכׇל־לֵב׃with my whole heart

    Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.

35. 35

    הַדְרִיכֵנִיlead meבִּנְתִיבin the path ofמִצְוֺתֶיךָYour commandmentsכִּי־בוֹbecause in Himחָפָצְתִּי׃I desire

    Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight.

36. 36

    הַט־לִבִּיincline my heartאֶל־עֵדְוֺתֶיךָto Your testimoniesוְאַלand do notאֶל־בָּצַע׃to unjust gain

    Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.

37. 37

    הַעֲבֵרtake awayעֵינַיmy eyesמֵרְאוֹתfrom seeingשָׁוְאvanityבִּדְרָכֶךָin Your waysחַיֵּנִי׃revive me

    Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken thou me in thy way.

38. 38

    הָקֵםestablishלְעַבְדְּךָfor Your servantאִמְרָתֶךָYour wordאֲשֶׁרwhichלְיִרְאָתֶךָ׃for Your fear

    Stablish thy word unto thy servant, who is devoted to thy fear.

39. 39

    הַעֲבֵרtake awayחֶרְפָּתִיmy reproachאֲשֶׁרwhichיָגֹרְתִּיI was afraidכִּיforמִשְׁפָּטֶיךָYour judgmentsטוֹבִים׃good

    Turn away my reproach which I fear: for thy judgments are good.

40. 40

    הִנֵּהbeholdתָּאַבְתִּיI longלְפִקֻּדֶיךָfor Your preceptsבְּצִדְקָתְךָin Your righteousnessחַיֵּנִי׃revive me

    Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousness.

41. 41

    וִיבֹאֻנִיand may they come to meחֲסָדֶךָYour merciesיְהֹוָהthe LORDתְּשׁוּעָתְךָYour salvationכְּאִמְרָתֶךָ׃according to Your word

    Let thy mercies come also unto me, O LORD, even thy salvation, according to thy word.

42. 42

    וְאֶעֱנֶהso I may answerחֹרְפִיhim who taunts meדָבָרa wordכִּי־בָטַחְתִּיbecause I have trustedבִּדְבָרֶךָ׃in Your word

    So shall I have wherewith to answer him that reproacheth me: for I trust in thy word.

43. 43

    וְאַל־תַּצֵּלand do not take awayמִפִּיfrom the mouth ofדְבַר־אֱמֶתthe word of truthעַד־מְאֹדutterlyכִּיforלְמִשְׁפָּטֶךָfor Your judgmentsיִחָלְתִּי׃I hope

    And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments.

44. 44

    וְאֶשְׁמְרָהand I will keepתוֹרָתְךָYour lawתָמִידcontinuallyלְעוֹלָםforeverוָעֶד׃and ever

    So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever.

45. 45

    וְאֶתְהַלְּכָהand I will walk aboutבָרְחָבָהin the broad placeכִּיforפִקֻּדֶיךָYour preceptsדָרָשְׁתִּי׃I have sought

    And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.

46. 46

    וַאֲדַבְּרָהand I will endeavor to speakבְעֵדֹתֶיךָin Your testimoniesנֶגֶדagainstמְלָכִיםkingsוְלֹאand notאֵבוֹשׁ׃shall I be ashamed

    I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.

47. 47

    וְאֶשְׁתַּעֲשַׁעand I may delight myselfבְּמִצְוֺתֶיךָin Your commandmentsאֲשֶׁרwhichאָהָבְתִּי׃I love

    And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.

48. 48

    וְאֶשָּׂא־כַפַּיand I will lift up my handsאֶל־מִצְוֺתֶיךָto Your commandmentsאֲשֶׁרwhichאָהָבְתִּיI loveוְאָשִׂיחָהso let me meditateבְחֻקֶּיךָ׃in Your statutes

    My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.

49. 49

    זְכֹר־דָּבָרremember the wordלְעַבְדֶּךָto Your servantעַלuponאֲשֶׁרwhichיִחַלְתָּנִי׃You have caused me to hope

    Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.

50. 50

    זֹאתthisנֶחָמָתִיmy comfortבְעׇנְיִיin my afflictionכִּיforאִמְרָתְךָYour wordחִיָּתְנִי׃has revived me

    This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.

51. 51

    זֵדִיםthe insolentהֱלִיצֻנִיhave had me greatly in derisionעַד־מְאֹדutterlyמִתּוֹרָתְךָfrom Your lawלֹאnotנָטִיתִי׃I have turned aside

    The proud have had me greatly in derision: yet have I not declined from thy law.

52. 52

    זָכַרְתִּיI rememberedמִשְׁפָּטֶיךָYour judgmentsמֵעוֹלָםfrom of oldיְהֹוָהthe LORDוָאֶתְנֶחָם׃and I have comforted myself

    I remembered thy judgments of old, O LORD; and have comforted myself.

53. 53

    זַלְעָפָהburning indignationאֲחָזַתְנִיhas taken hold of meמֵרְשָׁעִיםfrom wicked peopleעֹזְבֵיwho forsakeתּוֹרָתֶךָ׃Your law

    Horror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake thy law.

54. 54

    זְמִרוֹתthe songs ofהָיוּ־לִיwere to meחֻקֶּיךָYour statutesבְּבֵיתin the house ofמְגוּרָי׃my sojournings

    Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.

55. 55

    זָכַרְתִּיI rememberedבַלַּיְלָהin the nightשִׁמְךָYour nameיְהֹוָהthe LORDוָאֶשְׁמְרָהand I have keptתּוֹרָתֶךָ׃Your law

    I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have kept thy law.

56. 56

    זֹאתthisהָיְתָה־לִּיwas to meכִּיbecauseפִקֻּדֶיךָYour preceptsנָצָרְתִּי׃I have kept

    This I had, because I kept thy precepts.

57. 57

    חֶלְקִיmy partיְהֹוָהthe LORDאָמַרְתִּיI saidלִשְׁמֹרto keepדְּבָרֶיךָ׃Your words

    Thou art my portion, O LORD: I have said that I would keep thy words.

58. 58

    חִלִּיתִיI have entreatedפָנֶיךָYour faceבְכׇל־לֵבwith my whole heartחׇנֵּנִיbe gracious to meכְּאִמְרָתֶךָ׃according to Your word

    I intreated thy favour with my whole heart: be merciful unto me according to thy word.

59. 59

    חִשַּׁבְתִּיI thought aboutדְרָכָיmy waysוָאָשִׁיבָהand I brought backרַגְלַיmy feetאֶל־עֵדֹתֶיךָ׃to Your testimonies

    I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies.

60. 60

    חַשְׁתִּיI have made hasteוְלֹאand notהִתְמַהְמָהְתִּיI have delayedלִשְׁמֹרto keepמִצְוֺתֶיךָ׃Your commandments

    I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.

61. 61

    חֶבְלֵיpains ofרְשָׁעִיםthe wickedעִוְּדֻנִיhave robbed meתּוֹרָתְךָYour lawלֹאnotשָׁכָחְתִּי׃have I forgotten

    The bands of the wicked have robbed me: but I have not forgotten thy law.

62. 62

    חֲצוֹת־לַיְלָהthe middle of nightאָקוּםI will ariseלְהוֹדוֹתto thanksgivingsלָךְto Youעַלuponמִשְׁפְּטֵיthe judgments ofצִדְקֶךָ׃Your righteousness

    At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments.

63. 63

    חָבֵרam a companionאָנִיIלְכׇל־אֲשֶׁרto all thatיְרֵאוּךָthey fear Youוּלְשֹׁמְרֵיand keepפִּקּוּדֶיךָ׃Your precepts

    I am a companion of all them that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts.

64. 64

    חַסְדְּךָYour mercyיְהֹוָהthe LORDמָלְאָהis full ofהָאָרֶץthe earthחֻקֶּיךָYour statutesלַמְּדֵנִי׃teach me

    The earth, O LORD, is full of thy mercy: teach me thy statutes.

65. 65

    טוֹבgoodעָשִׂיתָYou didעִם־עַבְדְּךָwith Your servantיְהֹוָהthe LORDכִּדְבָרֶךָ׃according to Your word

    Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O LORD, according unto thy word.

66. 66

    טוּבgoodטַעַםjudgmentוָדַעַתand knowledgeלַמְּדֵנִיteach meכִּיforבְמִצְוֺתֶיךָin Your commandmentsהֶאֱמָנְתִּי׃I trust

    Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.

67. 67

    טֶרֶםbeforeאֶעֱנֶהI was afflictedאֲנִיIשֹׁגֵגone who goes astrayוְעַתָּהand nowאִמְרָתְךָYour wordשָׁמָרְתִּי׃I keep

    Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.

68. 68

    טוֹב־אַתָּהgood Youוּמֵטִיבand does goodלַמְּדֵנִיteach meחֻקֶּיךָ׃Your statutes

    Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes.

69. 69

    טָפְלוּhave forgedעָלַיupon meשֶׁקֶרfalsehoodזֵדִיםthe insolentאֲנִיIבְּכׇל־לֵבwith my whole heartאֶצֹּרI will keepפִּקּוּדֶיךָ׃Your precepts

    The proud have forged a lie against me: but I will keep thy precepts with my whole heart.

70. 70

    טָפַשׁis as grossכַּחֵלֶבlike fatלִבָּםtheir heartאֲנִיIתּוֹרָתְךָYour lawשִׁעֲשָׁעְתִּי׃do I delight

    Their heart is as fat as grease; but I delight in thy law.

71. 71

    טוֹב־לִיit is good for meכִי־עֻנֵּיתִיthat I was afflictedלְמַעַןthatאֶלְמַדI may learnחֻקֶּיךָ׃Your statutes

    It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.

72. 72

    טוֹב־לִיit is good for meתוֹרַת־פִּיךָthe law of Your mouthמֵאַלְפֵיthan thousands ofזָהָבgoldוָכָסֶף׃and silver

    The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.

73. 73

    יָדֶיךָYour handsעָשׂוּנִיthey made meוַיְכוֹנְנוּנִיand they prepared meהֲבִינֵנִיgive me understandingוְאֶלְמְדָהso let me learnמִצְוֺתֶיךָ׃Your commandments

    Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.

74. 74

    יְרֵאֶיךָthose fearing Youיִרְאוּנִיshall see meוְיִשְׂמָחוּand rejoiceכִּיbecauseלִדְבָרְךָfor Your wordיִחָלְתִּי׃I hope

    They that fear thee will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in thy word.

75. 75

    יָדַעְתִּיI knowיְהֹוָהthe LORDכִּי־צֶדֶקbecause righteousnessמִשְׁפָּטֶיךָYour judgmentsוֶאֱמוּנָהand faithfulnessעִנִּיתָנִי׃You have afflicted me

    I know, O LORD, that thy judgments are right, and that thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me.

76. 76

    יְהִי־נָאlet I pray beחַסְדְּךָYour mercyלְנַחֲמֵנִיto comfort meכְּאִמְרָתְךָaccording to Your wordלְעַבְדֶּךָ׃to Your servant

    Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant.

77. 77

    יְבֹאוּנִיlet them come to meרַחֲמֶיךָYour tender merciesוְאֶחְיֶהso I may liveכִּי־תוֹרָתְךָbecause Your lawשַׁעֲשֻׁעָי׃is my delight

    Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live: for thy law is my delight.

78. 78

    יֵבֹשׁוּlet be ashamedזֵדִיםthe insolentכִּי־שֶׁקֶרbecause falseעִוְּתוּנִיhave dealt perversely with meאֲנִיIאָשִׂיחַI will meditateבְּפִקּוּדֶיךָ׃on Your precepts

    Let the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without a cause: but I will meditate in thy precepts.

79. 79

    יָשׁוּבוּshall be turnedלִיto meיְרֵאֶיךָthose fearing You(וידעו)[וְיֹדְעֵי]and those who knowעֵדֹתֶיךָ׃Your testimonies

    Let those that fear thee turn unto me, and those that have known thy testimonies.

80. 80

    יְהִי־לִבִּיlet my heart beתָמִיםblamelessבְּחֻקֶּיךָin Your statutesלְמַעַןthatלֹאnotאֵבוֹשׁ׃shall I be ashamed

    Let my heart be sound in thy statutes; that I be not ashamed.

81. 81

    כָּלְתָהfaintsלִתְשׁוּעָתְךָfor Your salvationנַפְשִׁיmy soulלִדְבָרְךָfor Your wordיִחָלְתִּי׃I hope

    My soul fainteth for thy salvation: but I hope in thy word.

82. 82

    כָּלוּfailעֵינַיmy eyesלְאִמְרָתֶךָfor Your wordלֵאמֹרsayingמָתַיwhenתְּנַחֲמֵנִי׃will You comfort me

    Mine eyes fail for thy word, saying, When wilt thou comfort me?

83. 83

    כִּי־הָיִיתִיbecause I wasכְּנֹאדlike a wineskinבְּקִיטוֹרin the smokeחֻקֶּיךָYour statutesלֹאnotשָׁכָחְתִּי׃have I forgotten

    For I am become like a bottle in the smoke; yet do I not forget thy statutes.

84. 84

    כַּמָּהhow many areיְמֵי־עַבְדֶּךָdays of Your servantמָתַיwhenתַּעֲשֶׂהYou makeבְרֹדְפַיin those who harass meמִשְׁפָּט׃justice

    How many are the days of thy servant? when wilt thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?

85. 85

    כָּרוּ־לִיhave dug for meזֵדִיםthe insolentשִׁיחוֹתpitsאֲשֶׁרwhichלֹאnotכְתוֹרָתֶךָ׃according to Your law

    The proud have digged pits for me, which are not after thy law.

86. 86

    כׇּל־מִצְוֺתֶיךָall Your commandmentsאֱמוּנָהfaithfulnessשֶׁקֶרfalsehoodרְדָפוּנִיthey have harassed meעׇזְרֵנִי׃help me

    All thy commandments are faithful: they persecute me wrongfully; help thou me.

87. 87

    כִּמְעַטnearlyכִּלּוּנִיthey have made an end of meבָאָרֶץin the landוַאֲנִיand Iלֹא־עָזַבְתִּיnot I have abandonedפִקֻּדֶיךָ׃Your precepts

    They had almost consumed me upon earth; but I forsook not thy precepts.

    כְּחַסְדְּךָaccording to Your mercyחַיֵּנִיrevive meוְאֶשְׁמְרָהand I will keepעֵדוּתtestimony ofפִּיךָ׃Your mouth

    Quicken me after thy lovingkindness; so shall I keep the testimony of thy mouth.

89. 89

    לְעוֹלָםforeverיְהֹוָהthe LORDדְּבָרְךָYour wordנִצָּבstands upבַּשָּׁמָיִם׃in the heavens

    For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.

90. 90

    לְדֹרfrom generationוָדֹרto generationאֱמוּנָתֶךָYour faithfulnessכּוֹנַנְתָּYou have ordainedאֶרֶץthe land ofוַתַּעֲמֹד׃and shall stand

    Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth.

    לְמִשְׁפָּטֶיךָfor Your judgmentsעָמְדוּstoodהַיּוֹםthe dayכִּיforהַכֹּלallעֲבָדֶיךָ׃Your servants

    They continue this day according to thine ordinances: for all are thy servants.

92. 92

    לוּלֵיif not forתוֹרָתְךָYour lawשַׁעֲשֻׁעָיis my delightאָזthenאָבַדְתִּיperishedבְעׇנְיִי׃in my affliction

    Unless thy law had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction.

93. 93

    לְעוֹלָםforeverלֹא־אֶשְׁכַּחnot I will forgetפִּקּוּדֶיךָYour preceptsכִּיforבָםin themחִיִּיתָנִי׃You have revived me

    I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me.

94. 94

    לְךָ־אֲנִיfor You Iהוֹשִׁיעֵנִיsave meכִּיforפִקּוּדֶיךָYour preceptsדָרָשְׁתִּי׃I have sought

    I am thine, save me; for I have sought thy precepts.

95. 95

    לִיto meקִוּוּhave waitedרְשָׁעִיםthe wickedלְאַבְּדֵנִיto destroy meעֵדֹתֶיךָYour testimoniesאֶתְבּוֹנָן׃I have understanding

    The wicked have waited for me to destroy me: but I will consider thy testimonies.

    לְכׇל־תִּכְלָהof all perfectionרָאִיתִיI sawקֵץendרְחָבָהis exceedingly broadמִצְוָתְךָYour commandmentמְאֹד׃greatly

    I have seen an end of all perfection: but thy commandment is exceeding broad.

97. 97

    מָה־אָהַבְתִּיOh how I loveתוֹרָתֶךָYour lawכׇּל־הַיּוֹםall the dayהִיאit isשִׂיחָתִי׃my meditation

    O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day.

    מֵאֹיְבַיfrom my enemiesתְּחַכְּמֵנִיmake me wiserמִצְוֺתֶךָYour commandmentsכִּיforלְעוֹלָםforeverהִיא־לִי׃they are mine

    Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.

    מִכׇּל־מְלַמְּדַיfrom all my teachersהִשְׂכַּלְתִּיI have more understandingכִּיforעֵדְוֺתֶיךָYour testimoniesשִׂיחָהare my meditationלִי׃to me

    I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation.

     מִזְּקֵנִיםmore than the agedאֶתְבּוֹנָןI have understandingכִּיbecauseפִקּוּדֶיךָYour preceptsנָצָרְתִּי׃I have kept

     I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.

     מִכׇּל־אֹרַחfrom every pathרָעevilכָּלִאתִיI have restrainedרַגְלָיmy feetלְמַעַןthatאֶשְׁמֹרI will keepדְּבָרֶךָ׃Your word

     I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word.

     מִמִּשְׁפָּטֶיךָfrom Your judgmentsלֹא־סָרְתִּיnot I have turned asideכִּי־אַתָּהthat Youהוֹרֵתָנִי׃You have taught me

     I have not departed from thy judgments: for thou hast taught me.

103. 103

     מַה־נִּמְלְצוּhow sweet areלְחִכִּיto my palateאִמְרָתֶךָYour wordמִדְּבַשׁmore than honeyלְפִי׃according to

     How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!

     מִפִּקּוּדֶיךָfrom Your preceptsאֶתְבּוֹנָןI have understandingעַל־כֵּןthereforeשָׂנֵאתִיI have hatedכׇּל־אֹרַחevery path ofשָׁקֶר׃falsehood

     Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.

     נֵר־לְרַגְלִיa lamp to my feetדְבָרֶךָYour wordוְאוֹרand lightלִנְתִיבָתִי׃for my pathway

     Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

106. 106

     נִשְׁבַּעְתִּיI sworeוָאֲקַיֵּמָהand I have confirmedלִשְׁמֹרto keepמִשְׁפְּטֵיthe judgments ofצִדְקֶךָ׃Your righteousness

     I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments.

107. 107

     נַעֲנֵיתִיI have been afflictedעַד־מְאֹדutterlyיְהֹוָהthe LORDחַיֵּנִיrevive meכִדְבָרֶךָ׃according to Your word

     I am afflicted very much: quicken me, O LORD, according unto thy word.

108. 108

     נִדְבוֹתthe freewill offerings ofפִּיthe mouth ofרְצֵה־נָאbe pleased I prayיְהֹוָהthe LORDוּמִשְׁפָּטֶיךָand Your judgmentsלַמְּדֵנִי׃teach me

     Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O LORD, and teach me thy judgments.

109. 109

     נַפְשִׁיmy soulבְכַפִּיis continually in my handתָמִידcontinuallyוְתוֹרָתְךָand Your lawלֹאnotשָׁכָחְתִּי׃have I forgotten

     My soul is continually in my hand: yet do I not forget thy law.

110. 110

     נָתְנוּhave laidרְשָׁעִיםthe wickedפַּחa snareלִיto meוּמִפִּקּוּדֶיךָand from Your preceptsלֹאnotתָעִיתִי׃I have gone astray

     The wicked have laid a snare for me: yet I erred not from thy precepts.

111. 111

     נָחַלְתִּיI have inheritedעֵדְוֺתֶיךָYour testimoniesלְעוֹלָםforeverכִּי־שְׂשׂוֹןbecause the joy ofלִבִּיmy heartהֵמָּה׃they

     Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart.

112. 112

     נָטִיתִיI have turned asideלִבִּיmy heartלַעֲשׂוֹתto doחֻקֶּיךָYour statutesלְעוֹלָםforeverעֵקֶב׃to the end

     I have inclined mine heart to perform thy statutes alway, even unto the end.

     סֵעֲפִיםthe double-mindedשָׂנֵאתִיI have hatedוְתוֹרָתְךָand Your lawאָהָבְתִּי׃I love

     I hate vain thoughts: but thy law do I love.

     סִתְרִיmy hiding placeוּמָגִנִּיand my shieldאָתָּהYou areלִדְבָרְךָfor Your wordיִחָלְתִּי׃I hope

     Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.

     סוּרוּ־מִמֶּנִּיturn away from meמְרֵעִיםevildoersוְאֶצְּרָהso let me observeמִצְוֺתthe commandments ofאֱלֹהָי׃my God

     Depart from me, ye evildoers: for I will keep the commandments of my God.

     סׇמְכֵנִיsustain meכְאִמְרָתְךָaccording to Your wordוְאֶחְיֶהso I may liveוְאַל־תְּבִישֵׁנִיand do not put me to shameמִשִּׂבְרִי׃from my hope

     Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope.

     סְעָדֵנִיuphold meוְאִוָּשֵׁעָהso let me be savedוְאֶשְׁעָהand I may have regardבְחֻקֶּיךָin Your statutesתָמִיד׃continually

     Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect unto thy statutes continually.

118. 118

     סָלִיתָYou have trodden downכׇּל־שׁוֹגִיםall erringמֵחֻקֶּיךָfrom Your statutesכִּי־שֶׁקֶרbecause falseתַּרְמִיתָם׃their deceitfulness

     Thou hast trodden down all them that err from thy statutes: for their deceit is falsehood.

119. 119

     סִגִיםlike drossהִשְׁבַּתָּYou have made ceaseכׇל־רִשְׁעֵי־אָרֶץall the wicked people of the earthלָכֵןthereforeאָהַבְתִּיI have lovedעֵדֹתֶיךָ׃Your testimonies

     Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross: therefore I love thy testimonies.

120. 120

     סָמַרit tremblesמִפַּחְדְּךָfrom dread of Youבְשָׂרִיmy fleshוּמִמִּשְׁפָּטֶיךָand from Your judgmentsיָרֵאתִי׃I fear

     My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments.

121. 121

     עָשִׂיתִיI madeמִשְׁפָּטjusticeוָצֶדֶקand righteousnessבַּל־תַּנִּיחֵנִיleave me notלְעֹשְׁקָי׃to my oppressors

     I have done judgment and justice: leave me not to mine oppressors.

122. 122

     עֲרֹבbe surety forעַבְדְּךָYour servantלְטוֹבfor goodאַל־יַעַשְׁקֻנִיdo not they oppress meזֵדִים׃the insolent

     Be surety for thy servant for good: let not the proud oppress me.

123. 123

     עֵינַיmy eyesכָּלוּfailלִישׁוּעָתֶךָfor Your deliveranceוּלְאִמְרַתand for the word ofצִדְקֶךָ׃Your righteousness

     Mine eyes fail for thy salvation, and for the word of thy righteousness.

     עֲשֵׂהdoעִם־עַבְדְּךָwith Your servantכְחַסְדֶּךָaccording to Your mercyוְחֻקֶּיךָand Your statutesלַמְּדֵנִי׃teach me

     Deal with thy servant according unto thy mercy, and teach me thy statutes.

     עַבְדְּךָ־אָנִיI am Your servantהֲבִינֵנִיgive me understandingוְאֵדְעָהso let me knowעֵדֹתֶיךָ׃Your testimonies

     I am thy servant; give me understanding, that I may know thy testimonies.

     עֵתtimeלַעֲשׂוֹתto doלַיהֹוָהto the LORDהֵפֵרוּthey have made voidתּוֹרָתֶךָ׃Your law

     It is time for thee, LORD, to work: for they have made void thy law.

     עַל־כֵּןthereforeאָהַבְתִּיI have lovedמִצְוֺתֶיךָYour commandmentsמִזָּהָבof goldוּמִפָּז׃and more than pure gold

     Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold.

     עַל־כֵּןthereforeכׇּל־פִּקּוּדֵיall the precepts ofכֹלallיִשָּׁרְתִּיI esteem rightכׇּל־אֹרַחevery path ofשֶׁקֶרfalsehoodשָׂנֵאתִי׃I have hated

     Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.

     פְּלָאוֹתare wonderfulעֵדְוֺתֶיךָYour testimoniesעַל־כֵּןthereforeנְצָרָתַםkeeps themנַפְשִׁי׃my soul

     Thy testimonies are wonderful: therefore doth my soul keep them.

     פֵּתַחthe unfolding ofדְּבָרֶיךָYour wordsיָאִירshall shineמֵבִיןit gives understanding toפְּתָיִים׃the simple

     The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.

     פִּי־פָעַרְתִּיI opened my mouthוָאֶשְׁאָפָהand I pantedכִּיbecauseלְמִצְוֺתֶיךָunto Your preceptsיָאָבְתִּי׃I longed

     I opened my mouth, and panted: for I longed for thy commandments.

     פְּנֵה־אֵלַיturn to meוְחׇנֵּנִיand be gracious to meכְּמִשְׁפָּטas is Your customלְאֹהֲבֵיto those who loveשְׁמֶךָ׃Your name

     Look thou upon me, and be merciful unto me, as thou usest to do unto those that love thy name.

     פְּעָמַיmy feetהָכֵןestablishבְּאִמְרָתֶךָby Your wordוְאַל־תַּשְׁלֶט־בִּיand let not have dominion over meכׇל־אָוֶן׃all iniquity

     Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.

     פְּדֵנִיredeem meמֵעֹשֶׁקfrom oppressionאָדָםmanוְאֶשְׁמְרָהand I will keepפִּקּוּדֶיךָ׃Your precepts

     Deliver me from the oppression of man: so will I keep thy precepts.

     פָּנֶיךָYour faceהָאֵרmake to shineבְּעַבְדֶּךָon Your servantוְלַמְּדֵנִיand teach meאֶת־חֻקֶּיךָ׃Your statutes

     Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; and teach me thy statutes.

     פַּלְגֵי־מַיִםstreams of waterיָרְדוּcame downעֵינָיmy eyesעַלuponלֹא־שָׁמְרוּnot keptתוֹרָתֶךָ׃Your law

     Rivers of waters run down mine eyes, because they keep not thy law.

     צַדִּיקrighteousאַתָּהYouיְהֹוָהthe LORDוְיָשָׁרand uprightמִשְׁפָּטֶיךָ׃Your judgments

     Righteous art thou, O LORD, and upright are thy judgments.

     צִוִּיתָYou commandedצֶדֶקrighteousעֵדֹתֶיךָYour testimoniesוֶאֱמוּנָהand faithfulnessמְאֹד׃greatly

     Thy testimonies that thou hast commanded are righteous and very faithful.

     צִמְּתַתְנִיhas consumed meקִנְאָתִיmy zealכִּי־שָׁכְחוּbecause have they forgottenדְבָרֶיךָYour wordsצָרָי׃my enemies

     My zeal hath consumed me, because mine enemies have forgotten thy words.

     צְרוּפָהis refinedאִמְרָתְךָYour wordמְאֹדgreatlyוְעַבְדְּךָand Your servantאֲהֵבָהּ׃loves it

     Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.

     צָעִירsmallאָנֹכִיIוְנִבְזֶהand am despisedפִּקֻּדֶיךָYour preceptsלֹאnotשָׁכָחְתִּי׃have I forgotten

     I am small and despised: yet do not I forget thy precepts.

     צִדְקָתְךָYour righteousnessצֶדֶקrighteousלְעוֹלָםforeverוְתוֹרָתְךָand Your lawאֱמֶת׃truth

     Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.

     צַר־וּמָצוֹקtrouble and anguishמְצָאוּנִיhave taken hold of meמִצְוֺתֶיךָYour commandmentsשַׁעֲשֻׁעָי׃is my delight

     Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: yet thy commandments are my delights.

     צֶדֶקrighteousעֵדְוֺתֶיךָYour testimoniesלְעוֹלָםforeverהֲבִינֵנִיgive me understandingוְאֶחְיֶה׃so I may live

     The righteousness of thy testimonies is everlasting: give me understanding, and I shall live.

     קָרָאתִיI criedבְכׇל־לֵבwith my whole heartעֲנֵנִיhear meיְהֹוָהthe LORDחֻקֶּיךָYour statutesאֶצֹּרָה׃I will observe

     I cried with my whole heart; hear me, O LORD: I will keep thy statutes.

     I cried unto thee; save me, and I shall keep thy testimonies.

     קִדַּמְתִּיI anticipatedבַנֶּשֶׁףthe dawning of the morningוָאֲשַׁוֵּעָהand I cried for help(לדבריך)[לִדְבָרְךָ]for Your wordיִחָלְתִּי׃I hope

     I prevented the dawning of the morning, and cried: I hoped in thy word.

     קִדְּמוּanticipateעֵינַיmy eyesאַשְׁמֻרוֹתthe night watchesלָשִׂיחַto meditateבְּאִמְרָתֶךָ׃by Your word

     Mine eyes prevent the night watches, that I might meditate in thy word.

     קוֹלִיmy voiceשִׁמְעָהhearכְחַסְדֶּךָaccording to Your mercyיְהֹוָהthe LORDכְּמִשְׁפָּטֶךָaccording to Your judgmentsחַיֵּנִי׃revive me

     Hear my voice according unto thy lovingkindness: O LORD, quicken me according to thy judgment.

     קָרְבוּdraw nearרֹדְפֵיthose who follow afterזִמָּהmischiefמִתּוֹרָתְךָfrom Your lawרָחָקוּ׃they are far

     They draw nigh that follow after mischief: they are far from thy law.

     קָרוֹבare nearאַתָּהYouיְהֹוָהthe LORDוְכׇל־מִצְוֺתֶיךָand all Your commandmentsאֱמֶת׃truth

     Thou art near, O LORD; and all thy commandments are truth.

     קֶדֶםoldיָדַעְתִּיI knowמֵעֵדֹתֶיךָfrom Your testimoniesכִּיthatלְעוֹלָםforeverיְסַדְתָּם׃You founded them

     Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever.

     רְאֵה־עׇנְיִיconsider my afflictionוְחַלְּצֵנִיand rescue meכִּי־תוֹרָתְךָbecause Your lawלֹאnotשָׁכָחְתִּי׃have I forgotten

     Consider mine affliction, and deliver me: for I do not forget thy law.

     רִיבָהcontendרִיבִיmy caseוּגְאָלֵנִיand redeem meלְאִמְרָתְךָto Your wordחַיֵּנִי׃revive me

     Plead my cause, and deliver me: quicken me according to thy word.

     רָחוֹקis farמֵרְשָׁעִיםfrom wicked peopleיְשׁוּעָהsalvationכִּי־חֻקֶּיךָfor Your statutesלֹאnotדָרָשׁוּ׃do they seek

     Salvation is far from the wicked: for they seek not thy statutes.

     רַחֲמֶיךָYour tender merciesרַבִּיםmanyיְהֹוָהthe LORDכְּמִשְׁפָּטֶיךָaccording to Your judgmentsחַיֵּנִי׃revive me

     Great are thy tender mercies, O LORD: quicken me according to thy judgments.

     רַבִּיםmanyרֹדְפַיmy pursuersוְצָרָיand my foesמֵעֵדְוֺתֶיךָfrom Your testimoniesלֹאnotנָטִיתִי׃I have turned aside

     Many are my persecutors and mine enemies; yet do I not decline from thy testimonies.

     רָאִיתִיI sawבֹגְדִיםthose who act treacherouslyוָאֶתְקוֹטָטָהand I felt disgustאֲשֶׁרwhichאִמְרָתְךָYour wordלֹאnotשָׁמָרוּ׃they kept

     I beheld the transgressors, and was grieved; because they kept not thy word.

     רְאֵהbeholdכִּי־פִקּוּדֶיךָbecause Your preceptsאָהָבְתִּיI loveיְהֹוָהthe LORDכְּחַסְדְּךָaccording to Your mercyחַיֵּנִי׃revive me

     Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O LORD, according to thy lovingkindness.

     רֹאשׁ־דְּבָרְךָthe sum of Your wordאֱמֶתtruthוּלְעוֹלָםand foreverכׇּל־מִשְׁפַּטall judgmentצִדְקֶךָ׃Your righteousness

     Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.

     שָׂרִיםprincesרְדָפוּנִיthey have harassed meחִנָּםwithout cause(ומדבריך)[וּמִדְּבָרְךָ]but of Your wordפָּחַדstands in aweלִבִּי׃my heart

     Princes have persecuted me without a cause: but my heart standeth in awe of thy word.

     שָׂשׂI rejoiceאָנֹכִיIעַל־אִמְרָתֶךָupon Your wordכְּמוֹצֵאlike one who brings outשָׁלָלthe spoilרָב׃great

     I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.

     שֶׁקֶרfalsehoodשָׂנֵאתִיI have hatedוַאֲתַעֵבָהand I abhorתּוֹרָתְךָYour lawאָהָבְתִּי׃I love

     I hate and abhor lying: but thy law do I love.

     שֶׁבַעsevenבַּיּוֹםin the dayהִלַּלְתִּיךָI praise Youעַלuponמִשְׁפְּטֵיthe judgments ofצִדְקֶךָ׃Your righteousness

     Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.

     שָׁלוֹםpeaceרָבgreatלְאֹהֲבֵיto those who loveתוֹרָתֶךָYour lawוְאֵין־לָמוֹand nothing shall make themמִכְשׁוֹל׃stumble

     Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.

     שִׂבַּרְתִּיI have hopedלִישׁוּעָתְךָfor Your deliveranceיְהֹוָהthe LORDוּמִצְוֺתֶיךָand Your commandmentsעָשִׂיתִי׃I made

     LORD, I have hoped for thy salvation, and done thy commandments.

     שׇׁמְרָהguardedנַפְשִׁיmy soulעֵדֹתֶיךָYour testimoniesוָאֹהֲבֵםand I have loved themמְאֹד׃greatly

     My soul hath kept thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly.

     שָׁמַרְתִּיI have keptפִקּוּדֶיךָYour preceptsוְעֵדֹתֶיךָand Your testimoniesכִּיforכׇל־דְּרָכַיall my waysנֶגְדֶּךָ׃before You

     I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my ways are before thee.

     תִּקְרַבYou draw nearרִנָּתִיto my cryלְפָנֶיךָbefore Youיְהֹוָהthe LORDכִּדְבָרְךָaccording to Your commandהֲבִינֵנִי׃give me understanding

     Let my cry come near before thee, O LORD: give me understanding according to thy word.

     תָּבוֹאshall comeתְחִנָּתִיmy supplicationלְפָנֶיךָbefore Youכְּאִמְרָתְךָaccording to Your wordהַצִּילֵנִי׃deliver me

     Let my supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word.

     תַּבַּעְנָהshall utterשְׂפָתַיmy lipsתְּהִלָּהpraisesכִּיforתְלַמְּדֵנִיYou teach meחֻקֶּיךָ׃Your statutes

     My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes.

     תַּעַןshall speak ofלְשׁוֹנִיmy tongueאִמְרָתֶךָYour wordכִּיforכׇל־מִצְוֺתֶיךָall Your commandmentsצֶּדֶק׃righteous

     My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness.

     תְּהִי־יָדְךָlet it be Your handלְעׇזְרֵנִיto help meכִּיforפִקּוּדֶיךָYour preceptsבָחָרְתִּי׃I have chosen

     Let thine hand help me; for I have chosen thy precepts.

     תָּאַבְתִּיI longלִישׁוּעָתְךָfor Your deliveranceיְהֹוָהthe LORDוְתוֹרָתְךָand Your lawשַׁעֲשֻׁעָי׃is my delight

     I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law is my delight.

     תְּחִי־נַפְשִׁיlet my soul liveוּתְהַלְלֶךָּand it shall praise Youוּמִשְׁפָּטֶךָand Your justiceיַעְזְרֻנִי׃help me

     Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; and let thy judgments help me.

     תָּעִיתִיI have gone astrayכְּשֶׂהlike a sheepאֹבֵדlostבַּקֵּשׁseekעַבְדֶּךָYour servantכִּיforמִצְוֺתֶיךָYour commandmentsלֹאnotשָׁכָחְתִּי׃have I forgotten

     I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.
