   אָהַבְתִּיa/HAV/tiI loveכִּי־יִשְׁמַעki-yish/MAbecause hearsיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶת־קוֹלִיet-ko/LImy voiceתַּחֲנוּנָי׃ta/cha/nu/NAYmy supplications

   I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.

2. 2

   כִּי־הִטָּהki-hit/TAbecause He has inclinedאׇזְנוֹoz/NOHis earלִיlito meוּבְיָמַיu/ve/ya/MAYand in my daysאֶקְרָא׃ek/RAI will call

   Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.

   אֲפָפוּנִיa/fa/FU/niencompassed meחֶבְלֵי־מָוֶתchev/LE-MA/vetthe cords of deathוּמְצָרֵיu/me/tsa/REand the straits ofשְׁאוֹלShe/OLSheolמְצָאוּנִיme/tsa/U/nifound meצָרָהtsa/RAtroubleוְיָגוֹןve/ya/GONand sorrowאֶמְצָא׃em/TSAI found

   The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.

   וּבְשֵׁם־יְהֹוָהu/ve/SHEM-Adonaiand upon the name of the LORDאֶקְרָאek/RAI callאָנָּהan/NApleaseיְהֹוָהAdonaiO LORDמַלְּטָהmal/le/TAdeliverנַפְשִׁי׃naf/SHImy soul

   Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.

   חַנּוּןchan/NUNgracious isיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDוְצַדִּיקve/tsad/DIKand righteousוֵאלֹהֵינוּve/lo/HE/nuand our God isמְרַחֵם׃me/ra/CHEMcompassionate

   Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.

   שֹׁמֵרsho/MERpreservesפְּתָאיִםpe/ta/YIMthe simpleיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDדַּלֹּתִיdal/lo/TII was brought lowוְלִיve/LIand meיְהוֹשִׁיעַ׃ye/ho/SHI/aHe saved

   The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.

   שׁוּבִיSHU/vireturnנַפְשִׁיnaf/SHIO my soulלִמְנוּחָיְכִיlim/nu/CHAY/khito your restכִּי־יְהֹוָהki-Adonaifor the LORDגָּמַלga/MALhas dealt bountifullyעָלָיְכִי׃a/LAY/khiwith you

   Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.

   כִּיkiforחִלַּצְתָּchil/LATS/taYou have deliveredנַפְשִׁיnaf/SHImy soulמִמָּוֶתmim/MA/vetfrom deathאֶת־עֵינִיet-e/NImy eyeמִן־דִּמְעָהmin-dim/Afrom tearsאֶת־רַגְלִיet-rag/LImy footמִדֶּחִי׃mid/DE/chifrom falling

   For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.

   אֶתְהַלֵּךְet/hal/LEKHI will walkלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDבְּאַרְצוֹתbe/ar/TSOTin the lands ofהַחַיִּים׃ha/chay/YIMthe living

   I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.

    הֶאֱמַנְתִּיhe/e/MAN/tiI believedכִּיkithereforeאֲדַבֵּרa/dab/BERI speakאֲנִיa/NIIעָנִיתִיa/NI/tiwas afflictedמְאֹד׃me/ODgreatly

    I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:

    אֲנִיa/NIIאָמַרְתִּיa/MAR/tiI saidבְחׇפְזִיve/chof/ZIin my hasteכׇּל־הָאָדָםkol-ha/a/DAMevery man isכֹּזֵב׃ko/ZEVa liar

    I said in my haste, All men are liars.

    מָה־אָשִׁיבma-a/SHIVwhat shall I renderלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDכׇּל־תַּגְמוּלוֹהִיkol-tag/mu/LO/hiall His benefitsעָלָי׃a/LAYto me

    What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?

13. 13

    כּוֹס־יְשׁוּעוֹתkos-ye/shu/OTthe cup of salvationsאֶשָּׂאes/SAI will lift upוּבְשֵׁםu/ve/SHEMand upon the name ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶקְרָא׃ek/RAwill call

    I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.

14. 14

    נְדָרַיne/da/RAYmy vowsלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDאֲשַׁלֵּםa/shal/LEMI will payנֶגְדָה־נָּאneg/DA-nanow beforeלְכׇל־עַמּוֹ׃le/KHOL-am/MOall His people

    I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.

15. 15

    יָקָרya/KARpreciousבְּעֵינֵיbe/e/NEin the eyes ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDהַמָּוְתָהham/MAV/tais the death ofלַחֲסִידָיו׃la/cha/si/DAYVHis faithful ones

    Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

16. 16

    אָנָּהan/NApleaseיְהֹוָהAdonaiO LORDכִּי־אֲנִיki-a/NIfor I amעַבְדֶּךָav/DE/khaYour servantאֲנִי־עַבְדְּךָa/NI-av/de/KHAI am Your servantבֶּן־אֲמָתֶךָben-a/ma/TE/khathe son of Your handmaidפִּתַּחְתָּpit/TACH/taYou have loosedלְמוֹסֵרָי׃le/mo/se/RAYmy bonds

    O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.

    לְךָ־אֶזְבַּחle/KHA-ez/BACHto You I will offerזֶבַחZE/vachthe sacrifice ofתּוֹדָהto/DAthanksgivingוּבְשֵׁםu/ve/SHEMand upon the name ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶקְרָא׃ek/RAwill call

    I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.

18. 18

    נְדָרַיne/da/RAYmy vowsלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDאֲשַׁלֵּםa/shal/LEMI will payנֶגְדָה־נָּאneg/DA-nanow beforeלְכׇל־עַמּוֹ׃le/KHOL-am/MOall His people

    I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people,

19. 19

    בְּחַצְרוֹתbe/chats/ROTin the courts ofבֵּיתbetthe house ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDבְּתוֹכֵכִיbe/to/KHE/khiin the midst of youיְרוּשָׁלָ͏ִםYe/ru/sha/LA/yimJerusalemהַלְלוּ־יָהּ׃HAL/lu-yapraise the LORD

    In the courts of the LORD's house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.
