   לֹאnotלָנוּto usיְהֹוָהO LORDלֹא־לָנוּnot to usכִּי־לְשִׁמְךָbut to Your nameתֵּןgiveכָּבוֹדgloryעַל־חַסְדְּךָfor Your mercyעַל־אֲמִתֶּךָ׃and for Your truth's sake

   Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake.

   לָמָּהwhyיֹאמְרוּshould sayהַגּוֹיִםthe nationsאַיֵּה־נָאwhere is nowאֱלֹהֵיהֶם׃their God

   Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God?

3. 3

   וֵאלֹהֵינוּbut our Godבַשָּׁמָיִםis in the heavensכֹּלallאֲשֶׁר־חָפֵץwhatever He pleasedעָשָׂה׃He has done

   But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.

   עֲצַבֵּיהֶםtheir idolsכֶּסֶףare silverוְזָהָבand goldמַעֲשֵׂהthe work ofיְדֵיthe hands ofאָדָם׃man

   Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.

   פֶּה־לָהֶםthey have mouthsוְלֹאand notיְדַבֵּרוּdo they speakעֵינַיִםeyesלָהֶםthey haveוְלֹאand notיִרְאוּ׃do they see

   They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:

   אׇזְנַיִםearsלָהֶםthey haveוְלֹאand notיִשְׁמָעוּdo they hearאַףnosesלָהֶםthey haveוְלֹאand notיְרִיחוּן׃do they smell

   They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not:

   יְדֵיהֶםthey have handsוְלֹאand notיְמִישׁוּןdo they handleרַגְלֵיהֶםthey have feetוְלֹאand notיְהַלֵּכוּdo they walkלֹא־יֶהְגּוּnor do they speakבִּגְרוֹנָם׃through their throat

   They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.

   כְּמוֹהֶםlike themיִהְיוּshall beעֹשֵׂיהֶםthose who make themכֹּלallאֲשֶׁר־בֹּטֵחַwho trustבָּהֶם׃in them

   They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.

9. 9

   יִשְׂרָאֵלIsraelבְּטַחtrustבַּיהֹוָהin the LORDעֶזְרָםHe is their helpוּמָגִנָּםand their shieldהוּא׃He is

   O Israel, trust thou in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.

10. 10

    בֵּיתthe house ofאַהֲרֹןAaronבִּטְחוּtrustבַיהֹוָהin the LORDעֶזְרָםHe is their helpוּמָגִנָּםand their shieldהוּא׃He is

    O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.

11. 11

    יִרְאֵיyou who fearיְהֹוָהthe LORDבִּטְחוּtrustבַיהֹוָהin the LORDעֶזְרָםHe is their helpוּמָגִנָּםand their shieldהוּא׃He is

    Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.

    יְהֹוָהthe LORDזְכָרָנוּhas been mindful of usיְבָרֵךְHe will blessיְבָרֵךְHe will blessאֶת־בֵּיתthe house ofיִשְׂרָאֵלIsraelיְבָרֵךְHe will blessאֶת־בֵּיתthe house ofאַהֲרֹן׃Aaron

    The LORD hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.

13. 13

    יְבָרֵךְHe will blessיִרְאֵיthose who fearיְהֹוָהthe LORDהַקְּטַנִּיםboth smallעִם־הַגְּדֹלִים׃with the great

    He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great.

14. 14

    יֹסֵףmay addיְהֹוָהthe LORDעֲלֵיכֶםover youעֲלֵיכֶםover youוְעַל־בְּנֵיכֶם׃and upon your children

    The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.

15. 15

    בְּרוּכִיםblessed areאַתֶּםyouלַיהֹוָהto the LORDעֹשֵׂהwho madeשָׁמַיִםthe heavensוָאָרֶץ׃and earth

    Ye are blessed of the LORD which made heaven and earth.

16. 16

    הַשָּׁמַיִםthe heavensשָׁמַיִםeven the heavensלַיהֹוָהto the LORDוְהָאָרֶץand the earthנָתַןHe has givenלִבְנֵי־אָדָם׃to the children of men

    The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD's: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

17. 17

    לֹאnotהַמֵּתִיםthe deadיְהַלְלוּ־יָהּthey will praise the LORDוְלֹאand notכׇּל־יֹרְדֵיany who go down intoדוּמָה׃silence

    The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence.

18. 18

    וַאֲנַחְנוּand we areנְבָרֵךְwill blessיָהּthe LORDמֵעַתָּהfrom this timeוְעַד־עוֹלָםand foreverהַלְלוּ־יָהּ׃praise the LORD

    But we will bless the LORD from this time forth and for evermore. Praise the LORD.
