1. 1

   הַלְלוּ־יָהּpraise the LORDאוֹדֶהI will praiseיְהֹוָהthe LORDבְּכׇל־לֵבָבwith my whole heartבְּסוֹדin the council ofיְשָׁרִיםthe uprightוְעֵדָה׃and in the congregation

   Praise ye the LORD. I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.

   גְּדֹלִיםgreat areמַעֲשֵׂיthe works ofיְהֹוָהthe LORDדְּרוּשִׁיםsought outלְכׇל־חֶפְצֵיהֶם׃by all who delight in them

   The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.

   הוֹד־וְהָדָרsplendor and majestyפׇּעֳלוֹis His workוְצִדְקָתוֹand His righteousnessעֹמֶדֶתenduresלָעַד׃forever

   His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

   זֵכֶרa memorialעָשָׂהHe has madeלְנִפְלְאוֹתָיוfor His wonderful worksחַנּוּןgraciousוְרַחוּםand full of compassionיְהֹוָה׃the LORD

   He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion.

   טֶרֶףfoodנָתַןHe has givenלִירֵאָיוto those who fear HimיִזְכֹּרHe will ever be mindful ofלְעוֹלָםforeverבְּרִיתוֹ׃His covenant

   He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.

   כֹּחַthe power ofמַעֲשָׂיוHis worksהִגִּידHe has shownלְעַמּוֹto His peopleלָתֵתthat He may giveלָהֶםto themנַחֲלַתthe heritage ofגּוֹיִם׃the nations

   He hath shewed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.

   מַעֲשֵׂיthe works ofיָדָיוHis hands areאֱמֶתtruthוּמִשְׁפָּטand judgmentנֶאֱמָנִיםare sureכׇּל־פִּקּוּדָיו׃all His precepts

   The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.

   סְמוּכִיםthey stand fastלָעַדforeverלְעוֹלָםforeverעֲשׂוּיִםand are doneבֶּאֱמֶתin truthוְיָשָׁר׃and uprightness

   They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.

9. 9

   פְּדוּתredemptionשָׁלַחHe sentלְעַמּוֹto His peopleצִוָּה־לְעוֹלָםHe has commanded foreverבְּרִיתוֹhis covenantקָדוֹשׁholyוְנוֹרָאand awesome isשְׁמוֹ׃His name

   He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.

    רֵאשִׁיתthe beginning ofחׇכְמָהwisdomיִרְאַתthe fear ofיְהֹוָהthe LORDשֵׂכֶלa good understandingטוֹבisלְכׇל־עֹשֵׂיהֶםto all those who do themתְּהִלָּתוֹHis praiseעֹמֶדֶתenduresלָעַד׃forever

    The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
