   לְדָוִדof Davidמִזְמוֹרa psalmנְאֻםthe utterance ofיְהֹוָהthe LORDלַאדֹנִיto my Lordשֵׁבsitלִימִינִיat My right handעַד־אָשִׁיתuntil I makeאֹיְבֶיךָyour enemiesהֲדֹםa footstoolלְרַגְלֶיךָ׃for your feet

   A Psalm of David. The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

2. 2

   מַטֵּה־עֻזְּךָthe rod of Your strengthיִשְׁלַחshall sendיְהֹוָהthe LORDמִצִּיּוֹןout of Zionרְדֵהruleבְּקֶרֶבin the midst ofאֹיְבֶיךָ׃your enemies

   The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

   עַמְּךָYour peopleנְדָבֹתshall offer themselves willinglyבְּיוֹםin the day ofחֵילֶךָYour powerבְּהַדְרֵי־קֹדֶשׁin holy arrayמֵרֶחֶםfrom the womb ofמִשְׁחָרthe dawnלְךָYours isטַלthe dew ofיַלְדֻתֶיךָ׃Your youth

   Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

   נִשְׁבַּעhas swornיְהֹוָהthe LORDוְלֹאand notיִנָּחֵםwill He repentאַתָּה־כֹהֵןYou are a priestלְעוֹלָםforeverעַל־דִּבְרָתִיafter the order ofמַלְכִּי־צֶדֶק׃Melchizedek

   The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

   אֲדֹנָיthe Lordעַל־יְמִינְךָat Your right handמָחַץshall strike throughבְּיוֹם־אַפּוֹin the day of his wrathמְלָכִים׃kings

   The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.

6. 6

   יָדִיןHe shall judgeבַּגּוֹיִםamong the nationsמָלֵאHe shall fill it withגְוִיּוֹתdead bodiesמָחַץHe shall strike throughרֹאשׁthe headעַל־אֶרֶץover a landרַבָּה׃wide

   He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.

   מִנַּחַלof the brookבַּדֶּרֶךְin the wayיִשְׁתֶּהhe shall drinkעַל־כֵּןthereforeיָרִיםshall he lift upרֹאשׁ׃his head

   He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.
