   הוֹדוּho/DUgive thanksלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDקִרְאוּkir/Ucall uponבִשְׁמוֹvish/MOon His nameהוֹדִיעוּho/DI/umake knownבָעַמִּיםva/am/MIMamong the peoplesעֲלִילוֹתָיו׃a/li/lo/TAYVHis deeds

   O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.

2. 2

   שִׁירוּ־לוֹSHI/ru-losing to Himזַמְּרוּ־לוֹzam/me/RU-losing praises to HimשִׂיחוּSI/chuspeak ofבְּכׇל־נִפְלְאוֹתָיו׃be/KHOL-nif/le/o/TAYVall His wondrous works

   Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.

   הִתְהַלְלוּhit/hal/LUgloryבְּשֵׁםbe/SHEMin the name ofקׇדְשׁוֹkod/SHOHis holinessיִשְׂמַחyis/MACHlet rejoiceלֵבlevthe heart ofמְבַקְשֵׁיme/vak/SHEthose who seekיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

   Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.

   דִּרְשׁוּdir/SHUseekיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDוְעֻזּוֹve/uz/ZOand His strengthבַּקְּשׁוּbak/ke/SHUseekפָנָיוfa/NAYVHis faceתָּמִיד׃ta/MIDcontinually

   Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.

   זִכְרוּzikh/RUrememberנִפְלְאוֹתָיוnif/le/o/TAYVHis marvelous worksאֲשֶׁר־עָשָׂהa/SHER-a/SAwhich He has doneמֹפְתָיוmof/TAYVHis marvelsוּמִשְׁפְּטֵי־פִיו׃u/mish/pe/TE-fivand the judgments of His mouth

   Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;

   זֶרַעZE/raO seed ofאַבְרָהָםAv/ra/HAMAbrahamעַבְדּוֹav/DOHis servantבְּנֵיbe/NEO children ofיַעֲקֹבYa/a/KOVJacobבְּחִירָיו׃be/chi/RAYVHis chosen ones

   O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen.

   הוּאhuHe isיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֵינוּe/lo/HE/nuour Godבְּכׇל־הָאָרֶץbe/KHOL-ha/A/retsin all the earthמִשְׁפָּטָיו׃mish/pa/TAYVare His judgments

   He is the LORD our God: his judgments are in all the earth.

8. 8

   זָכַרza/KHARHe has rememberedלְעוֹלָםle/o/LAMforeverבְּרִיתוֹbe/ri/TOHis covenantדָּבָרda/VARthe wordצִוָּהtsiv/VAHe commandedלְאֶלֶףle/E/lefto a thousandדּוֹר׃dorgenerations

   He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.

9. 9

   אֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatכָּרַתka/RATHe madeאֶת־אַבְרָהָםet-Av/ra/HAMwith Abrahamוּשְׁבוּעָתוֹu/she/vu/a/TOand His oathלְיִשְׂחָק׃le/Yis/CHAKto Isaac

   Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac;

10. 10

    וַיַּעֲמִידֶהָvay/ya/a/mi/DE/haand He confirmed itלְיַעֲקֹבle/Ya/a/KOVto Jacobלְחֹקle/CHOKas a statuteלְיִשְׂרָאֵלle/Yis/ra/ELto Israelבְּרִיתbe/RITa covenantעוֹלָם׃o/LAMeverlasting

    And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant:

11. 11

    לֵאמֹרle/MORsayingלְךָle/KHAto youאֶתֵּןet/TENI will giveאֶת־אֶרֶץ־כְּנָעַןet-E/rets-ke/NA/anthe land of CanaanחֶבֶלCHE/velthe portion ofנַחֲלַתְכֶם׃na/cha/lat/KHEMyour inheritance

    Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:

12. 12

    בִּהְיוֹתָםbih/yo/TAMwhen they wereמְתֵיme/TEmen ofמִסְפָּרmis/PARnumberכִּמְעַטkim/ATvery fewוְגָרִיםve/ga/RIMand sojournersבָּהּ׃bain it

    When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it.

13. 13

    וַיִּתְהַלְּכוּvay/yit/hal/le/KHUand they went aboutמִגּוֹיmig/GOYfrom nationאֶל־גּוֹיel-goyto nationמִמַּמְלָכָהmim/mam/la/KHAfrom kingdomאֶל־עַםel-amto peopleאַחֵר׃a/CHERanother

    When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people;

14. 14

    לֹא־הִנִּיחַlo-hin/NI/achHe did not allowאָדָםa/DAMmanלְעׇשְׁקָםle/osh/KAMto oppress themוַיּוֹכַחvay/YO/khachand He rebukedעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMfor their sakeמְלָכִים׃me/la/KHIMkings

    He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;

15. 15

    אַל־תִּגְּעוּal-tig/ge/Udo not touchבִמְשִׁיחָיvim/shi/CHAYMy anointedוְלִנְבִיאַיve/lin/vi/AYand to My prophetsאַל־תָּרֵעוּ׃al-ta/RE/udo no harm

    Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

16. 16

    וַיִּקְרָאvay/yik/RAand He calledרָעָבra/AVa famineעַל־הָאָרֶץal-ha/A/retsupon the landכׇּל־מַטֵּה־לֶחֶםkol-mat/TE-LE/chemthe whole staff of breadשָׁבָר׃sha/VARHe broke

    Moreover he called for a famine upon the land: he brake the whole staff of bread.

17. 17

    שָׁלַחsha/LACHHe sentלִפְנֵיהֶםlif/ne/HEMbefore themאִישׁisha manלְעֶבֶדle/E/vedas a slaveנִמְכַּרnim/KARwas soldיוֹסֵף׃Yo/SEFJoseph

    He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant:

18. 18

    עִנּוּin/NUthey afflictedבַכֶּבֶלvak/KE/velwith fetters(רגליו)ragalayav[רַגְלוֹ]rag/LOhis feetבַּרְזֶלbar/ZELinto ironבָּאָהba/Acameנַפְשׁוֹ׃naf/SHOhis soul

    Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:

19. 19

    עַד־עֵתad-etuntil the time thatבֹּא־דְבָרוֹbo-de/va/ROhis word cameאִמְרַתim/RATthe word ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDצְרָפָתְהוּ׃tse/ra/FAT/hurefined him

    Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him.

20. 20

    שָׁלַחsha/LACHsentמֶלֶךְME/lekhthe kingוַיַּתִּירֵהוּvay/yat/ti/RE/huand released himמֹשֵׁלmo/SHELthe ruler ofעַמִּיםam/MIMthe peoplesוַיְפַתְּחֵהוּ׃vay/fat/te/CHE/huand let him go free

    The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free.

21. 21

    שָׂמוֹsa/MOhe made himאָדוֹןa/DONlordלְבֵיתוֹle/ve/TOof his houseוּמֹשֵׁלu/mo/SHELand rulerבְּכׇל־קִנְיָנוֹ׃be/KHOL-kin/ya/NOof all his possessions

    He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance:

22. 22

    לֶאְסֹרle/SORto bindשָׂרָיוsa/RAYVhis princesבְּנַפְשׁוֹbe/naf/SHOat his pleasureוּזְקֵנָיוu/ze/ke/NAYVand his eldersיְחַכֵּם׃ye/chak/KEMto make wise

    To bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his senators wisdom.

23. 23

    וַיָּבֹאvay/ya/VOand came intoיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelמִצְרָיִםMits/RA/yimEgyptוְיַעֲקֹבve/Ya/a/KOVand Jacobגָּרgarsojournedבְּאֶרֶץ־חָם׃be/E/rets-chamin the land of Ham

    Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.

24. 24

    וַיֶּפֶרvay/YE/ferand He increasedאֶת־עַמּוֹet-am/MOHis peopleמְאֹדme/ODgreatlyוַיַּעֲצִמֵהוּvay/ya/a/tsi/ME/huand made them mightierמִצָּרָיו׃mits/tsa/RAYVthan their adversaries

    And he increased his people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies.

25. 25

    הָפַךְha/FAKHHe turnedלִבָּםlib/BAMtheir heartלִשְׂנֹאlis/NOto hateעַמּוֹam/MOHis peopleלְהִתְנַכֵּלle/hit/nak/KELto deal craftilyבַּעֲבָדָיו׃ba/a/va/DAYVwith His servants

    He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilly with his servants.

26. 26

    שָׁלַחsha/LACHHe sentמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesעַבְדּוֹav/DOHis servantאַהֲרֹןA/ha/RONAaronאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomבָּחַר־בּוֹ׃ba/CHAR-boHe had chosen

    He sent Moses his servant; and Aaron whom he had chosen.

27. 27

    שָׂמוּ־בָםSA/mu-vamthey set among themדִּבְרֵיdiv/REthe words ofאֹתוֹתָיוo/to/TAYVHis signsוּמֹפְתִיםu/mof/TIMand wondersבְּאֶרֶץbe/E/retsin the land ofחָם׃ChamHam

    They shewed his signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.

28. 28

    שָׁלַחsha/LACHHe sentחֹשֶׁךְCHO/shekhdarknessוַיַּחְשִׁךְvay/yach/SHIKHand made it darkוְלֹא־מָרוּve/LO-ma/RUand they did not rebel againstאֶת־[דְּבָרוֹ]et-de/va/ROHis word(דבריו)׃davarayav

    He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.

29. 29

    הָפַךְha/FAKHHe turnedאֶת־מֵימֵיהֶםet-me/me/HEMtheir watersלְדָםle/DAMinto bloodוַיָּמֶתvay/YA/metand killedאֶת־דְּגָתָם׃et-de/ga/TAMtheir fish

    He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.

30. 30

    שָׁרַץsha/RATSswarmedאַרְצָםar/TSAMtheir landצְפַרְדְּעִיםtse/far/de/IMfrogsבְּחַדְרֵיbe/chad/REin the chambers ofמַלְכֵיהֶם׃mal/khe/HEMtheir kings

    Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the chambers of their kings.

31. 31

    אָמַרa/MARHe spokeוַיָּבֹאvay/ya/VOand there cameעָרֹבa/ROVswarmsכִּנִּיםkin/NIMgnatsבְּכׇל־גְּבוּלָם׃be/KHOL-ge/vu/LAMin all their territory

    He spake, and there came divers sorts of flies, and lice in all their coasts.

32. 32

    נָתַןna/TANHe gaveגִּשְׁמֵיהֶםgish/me/HEMfor their rainבָּרָדba/RADhailאֵשׁeshfireלֶהָבוֹתle/ha/VOTflamingבְּאַרְצָם׃be/ar/TSAMin their land

    He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land.

33. 33

    וַיַּךְvay/YAKHand He struckגַּפְנָםgaf/NAMtheir vinesוּתְאֵנָתָםu/te/e/na/TAMand their fig treesוַיְשַׁבֵּרvay/shab/BERand brokeעֵץetsthe trees ofגְּבוּלָם׃ge/vu/LAMtheir territory

    He smote their vines also and their fig trees; and brake the trees of their coasts.

34. 34

    אָמַרa/MARHe spokeוַיָּבֹאvay/ya/VOand there cameאַרְבֶּהar/BElocustsוְיֶלֶקve/YE/lekand young locustsוְאֵיןve/ENwithoutמִסְפָּר׃mis/PARnumber

    He spake, and the locusts came, and caterpillers, and that without number,

35. 35

    וַיֹּאכַלvay/YO/khaland they ate upכׇּל־עֵשֶׂבkol-E/sevall the herbsבְּאַרְצָםbe/ar/TSAMin their landוַיֹּאכַלvay/YO/khaland they ate upפְּרִיpe/RIthe fruit ofאַדְמָתָם׃ad/ma/TAMtheir ground

    And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.

36. 36

    וַיַּךְvay/YAKHand He struckכׇּל־בְּכוֹרkol-be/KHORall the firstbornבְּאַרְצָםbe/ar/TSAMin their landרֵאשִׁיתre/SHITthe first ofלְכׇל־אוֹנָם׃le/KHOL-o/NAMof all their strength

    He smote also all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength.

37. 37

    וַיּוֹצִיאֵםvay/yo/tsi/EMand He brought them outבְּכֶסֶףbe/KHE/sefwith silverוְזָהָבve/za/HAVand goldוְאֵיןve/ENand there was notבִּשְׁבָטָיוbish/va/TAYVamong His tribesכּוֹשֵׁל׃ko/SHELwho stumbled

    He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.

38. 38

    שָׂמַחsa/MACHwas gladמִצְרַיִםMits/RA/yimEgyptבְּצֵאתָםbe/tse/TAMwhen they departedכִּי־נָפַלki-na/FALfor had fallenפַּחְדָּםpach/DAMthe dread of themעֲלֵיהֶם׃a/le/HEMupon them

    Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them.

39. 39

    פָּרַשׂpa/RASHe spreadעָנָןa/NANa cloudלְמָסָךְle/ma/SAKHfor a coveringוְאֵשׁve/ESHand fireלְהָאִירle/ha/IRto give lightלָיְלָה׃LAY/lain the night

    He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light in the night.

40. 40

    שָׁאַלsha/ALthey askedוַיָּבֵאvay/ya/VEand He broughtשְׂלָוse/LAVquailוְלֶחֶםve/LE/chemand with bread ofשָׁמַיִםsha/MA/yimthe heavensיַשְׂבִּיעֵם׃yas/bi/EMHe satisfied them

    The people asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.

41. 41

    פָּתַחpa/TACHHe openedצוּרtsurthe rockוַיָּזוּבוּvay/ya/ZU/vuand gushed outמָיִםMA/yimwaterהָלְכוּha/le/KHUthey ranבַּצִּיּוֹתbats/tsiy/YOTin the dry placesנָהָר׃na/HARlike a river

    He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places like a river.

42. 42

    כִּי־זָכַרki-za/KHARfor He rememberedאֶת־דְּבַרet-de/VARthe word ofקׇדְשׁוֹkod/SHOHis holinessאֶת־אַבְרָהָםet-Av/ra/HAMwith Abrahamעַבְדּוֹ׃av/DOHis servant

    For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant.

43. 43

    וַיּוֹצִאvay/yo/TSIand He brought forthעַמּוֹam/MOHis peopleבְשָׂשׂוֹןve/sa/SONwith joyבְּרִנָּהbe/rin/NAwith singingאֶת־בְּחִירָיו׃et-be/chi/RAYVHis chosen ones

    And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness:

44. 44

    וַיִּתֵּןvay/yit/TENand He gaveלָהֶםla/HEMto themאַרְצוֹתar/TSOTthe lands ofגּוֹיִםgo/YIMthe nationsוַעֲמַלva/a/MALand the toil ofלְאֻמִּיםle/um/MIMthe peoplesיִירָשׁוּ׃yi/RA/shuthey possessed

    And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labour of the people;

45. 45

    בַּעֲבוּרba/a/VURso thatיִשְׁמְרוּyish/me/RUthey might keepחֻקָּיוchuk/KAYVHis statutesוְתוֹרֹתָיוve/to/ro/TAYVand His lawsיִנְצֹרוּyin/TSO/ruobserveהַלְלוּ־יָהּ׃HAL/lu-yapraise the LORD

    That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise ye the LORD.
