   Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty.

   עֹטֶה־אוֹרo/TE-orcovering Yourself with lightכַּשַּׂלְמָהkas/sal/MAas with a garmentנוֹטֶהno/TEwho stretches outשָׁמַיִםsha/MA/yimthe heavensכַּיְרִיעָה׃kay/ri/Alike a curtain

   Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:

   הַמְקָרֶהHAM/ka/rewho lays the beams ofבַמַּיִםvam/MA/yimin the watersעֲלִיּוֹתָיוa/liy/yo/TAYVHis chambersהַשָּׂם־עָבִיםhas/SAM-a/VIMwho makes the cloudsרְכוּבוֹre/khu/VOHis chariotהַמְהַלֵּךְham/hal/LEKHwho walksעַל־כַּנְפֵי־רוּחַ׃al-kan/FE-RU/achupon the wings of the wind

   Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:

   עֹשֶׂהo/SEwho makesמַלְאָכָיוmal/a/KHAYVHis messengersרוּחוֹתru/CHOTwindsמְשָׁרְתָיוme/sha/re/TAYVHis ministersאֵשׁeshfireלֹהֵט׃lo/HETflaming

   Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:

   יָסַד־אֶרֶץya/SAD-E/retsHe laid the foundations of the earthעַל־מְכוֹנֶיהָal-me/kho/NE/haupon its foundationsבַּל־תִּמּוֹטbal-tim/MOTit shall not be movedעוֹלָםo/LAMforeverוָעֶד׃va/EDand ever

   Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.

   תְּהוֹםte/HOMthe deepכַּלְּבוּשׁkal/le/VUSHas with a garmentכִּסִּיתוֹkis/si/TOYou covered itעַל־הָרִיםal-ha/RIMabove the mountainsיַעַמְדוּ־מָיִם׃ya/am/DU-MA/yimthe waters stood

   Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.

   מִן־גַּעֲרָתְךָmin-ga/a/ra/te/KHAat Your rebukeיְנוּסוּןye/nu/SUNthey fledמִן־קוֹלmin-kolat the voice ofרַעַמְךָra/am/KHAYour thunderיֵחָפֵזוּן׃ye/cha/fe/ZUNthey hurried away

   At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away.

   יַעֲלוּya/a/LUthey went upהָרִיםha/RIMthe mountainsיֵרְדוּyer/DUthey went downבְקָעוֹתve/ka/OTthe valleysאֶל־מְקוֹםel-me/KOMto the placeזֶהzewhichיָסַדְתָּya/SAD/taYou foundedלָהֶם׃la/HEMfor them

   They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which thou hast founded for them.

   גְּבוּל־שַׂמְתָּge/VUL-SAM/taYou have set a boundבַּל־יַעֲבֹרוּןbal-ya/a/vo/RUNthat they may not pass overבַּל־יְשֻׁבוּןbal-ye/shu/VUNthey shall not returnלְכַסּוֹתle/khas/SOTto coverהָאָרֶץ׃ha/A/retsthe earth

   Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.

    הַמְשַׁלֵּחַham/shal/LE/achHe sendsמַעְיָנִיםma/ya/NIMthe springsבַּנְּחָלִיםban/ne/cha/LIMinto the valleysבֵּיןbenamongהָרִיםha/RIMthe hillsיְהַלֵּכוּן׃ye/hal/le/KHUNthey run

    He sendeth the springs into the valleys, which run among the hills.

    יַשְׁקוּyash/KUthey give drink toכׇּל־חַיְתוֹkol-chay/TOevery beast ofשָׂדָיsa/DAYthe fieldיִשְׁבְּרוּyish/be/RUquenchפְרָאִיםfe/ra/IMthe wild donkeysצְמָאָם׃tse/ma/AMtheir thirst

    They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild asses quench their thirst.

    עֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMbeside themעוֹף־הַשָּׁמַיִםof-hash/sha/MA/yimthe birds of the heavenיִשְׁכּוֹןyish/KONdwellמִבֵּיןmib/BENfrom amongעֳפָאיִםo/fa/YIMthe branchesיִתְּנוּ־קוֹל׃yit/te/NU-kolthey give voice

    By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation, which sing among the branches.

    מַשְׁקֶהmash/KEHe watersהָרִיםha/RIMthe hillsמֵעֲלִיּוֹתָיוme/a/liy/yo/TAYVfrom His chambersמִפְּרִיmip/pe/RIwith the fruit ofמַעֲשֶׂיךָma/a/SE/khaYour worksתִּשְׂבַּעtis/BAis satisfiedהָאָרֶץ׃ha/A/retsthe earth

    He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.

    מַצְמִיחַmats/MI/achHe causes to growחָצִירcha/TSIRgrassלַבְּהֵמָהlab/be/he/MAfor the cattleוְעֵשֶׂבve/E/sevand herbלַעֲבֹדַתla/a/vo/DATfor the labor ofהָאָדָםha/a/DAMmanלְהוֹצִיאle/ho/TSIthat he may bring forthלֶחֶםLE/chembreadמִן־הָאָרֶץ׃min-ha/A/retsfrom the earth

    He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;

    וְיַיִןve/YA/yinand wineיְשַׂמַּחye/sam/MACHthat makes gladלְבַב־אֱנוֹשׁle/VAV-e/NOSHthe heart of manלְהַצְהִילle/hats/HILmaking shineפָּנִיםpa/NIMthe faceמִשָּׁמֶןmish/SHA/menwith oilוְלֶחֶםve/LE/chemand breadלְבַב־אֱנוֹשׁle/VAV-e/NOSHthe heart of manיִסְעָד׃yis/ADwhich strengthens

    And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man's heart.

16. 16

    יִשְׂבְּעוּyis/be/Uare satisfiedעֲצֵיa/TSEthe trees ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאַרְזֵיar/ZEthe cedars ofלְבָנוֹןLe/va/NONLebanonאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichנָטָע׃na/TAHe has planted

    The trees of the LORD are full of sap; the cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted;

17. 17

    אֲשֶׁר־שָׁםa/SHER-shamwhereצִפֳּרִיםtsip/po/RIMthe birdsיְקַנֵּנוּye/kan/NE/numake their nestsחֲסִידָהcha/si/DAthe storkבְּרוֹשִׁיםbe/ro/SHIMthe cypresses areבֵּיתָהּ׃be/TAher house

    Where the birds make their nests: as for the stork, the fir trees are her house.

18. 18

    הָרִיםha/RIMthe hillsהַגְּבֹהִיםhag/ge/vo/HIMthe highלַיְּעֵלִיםlay/ye/e/LIMare for the wild goatsסְלָעִיםse/la/IMthe rocks areמַחְסֶהmach/SEa refugeלַשְׁפַנִּים׃lash/fan/NIMfor the rock badgers

    The high hills are a refuge for the wild goats; and the rocks for the conies.

19. 19

    עָשָׂהa/SAHe madeיָרֵחַya/RE/achthe moonלְמוֹעֲדִיםle/mo/a/DIMfor seasonsשֶׁמֶשׁSHE/meshthe sunיָדַעya/DAknowsמְבוֹאוֹ׃me/vo/Oits going down

    He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.

20. 20

    תָּשֶׁת־חֹשֶׁךְTA/shet-CHO/shekhYou make darknessוִיהִיvi/HIand it isלָיְלָהLAY/lanightבּוֹ־תִרְמֹשׂbo-tir/MOSin it creepכׇּל־חַיְתוֹ־יָעַר׃kol-chay/TO-YA/arall the beasts of the forest

    Thou makest darkness, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth.

21. 21

    הַכְּפִירִיםhak/ke/fi/RIMthe young lionsשֹׁאֲגִיםsho/a/GIMroaringלַטָּרֶףlat/TA/refafter their preyוּלְבַקֵּשׁu/le/vak/KESHand seekמֵאֵלme/ELfrom Godאׇכְלָם׃okh/LAMtheir food

    The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their meat from God.

22. 22

    תִּזְרַחtiz/RACHrisesהַשֶּׁמֶשׁhash/SHE/meshthe sunיֵאָסֵפוּןye/a/se/FUNthey withdrawוְאֶל־מְעוֹנֹתָםve/EL-me/o/no/TAMand to their densיִרְבָּצוּן׃yir/ba/TSUNthey lie down

    The sun ariseth, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens.

23. 23

    יֵצֵאye/TSEgoes forthאָדָםa/DAMmanלְפׇעֳלוֹle/fo/o/LOto his workוְלַעֲבֹדָתוֹve/la/a/vo/da/TOand to his laborעֲדֵי־עָרֶב׃a/DE-A/revuntil the evening

    Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening.

24. 24

    מָה־רַבּוּma-rab/BUhow manifold areמַעֲשֶׂיךָma/a/SE/khaYour worksיְהֹוָהAdonaiO LORDכֻּלָּםkul/LAMall of themבְּחׇכְמָהbe/chokh/MAin wisdomעָשִׂיתָa/SI/taYou have madeמָלְאָהma/le/Ais full ofהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthקִנְיָנֶךָ׃kin/ya/NE/khaYour creatures

    O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.

25. 25

    זֶהzeso isהַיָּםhay/YAMthe seaגָּדוֹלga/DOLgreatוּרְחַבu/re/CHAVand wideיָדָיִםya/DA/yimof reachשָׁם־רֶמֶשׂsham-RE/mesthere are creeping thingsוְאֵיןve/ENwithoutמִסְפָּרmis/PARnumberחַיּוֹתchay/YOTliving thingsקְטַנּוֹתke/tan/NOTboth smallעִם־גְּדֹלוֹת׃im-ge/do/LOTwith great

    So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.

26. 26

    שָׁםshamthereאֳנִיּוֹתo/niy/YOTthe shipsיְהַלֵּכוּןye/hal/le/KHUNgoלִוְיָתָןLiv/ya/TANLeviathanזֶה־יָצַרְתָּze-ya/TSAR/tawhom You have formedלְשַׂחֶק־בּוֹ׃le/sa/CHEK-boto play in it

    There go the ships: there is that leviathan, whom thou hast made to play therein.

27. 27

    כֻּלָּםkul/LAMthese allאֵלֶיךָe/LE/khaupon Youיְשַׂבֵּרוּןye/sab/be/RUNlookלָתֵתla/TETthat You may giveאׇכְלָםokh/LAMtheir foodבְּעִתּוֹ׃be/it/TOin due season

    These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give them their meat in due season.

28. 28

    תִּתֵּןtit/TENYou giveלָהֶםla/HEMto themיִלְקֹטוּןyil/ko/TUNthey gatherתִּפְתַּחtif/TACHYou openיָדְךָya/de/KHAYour handיִשְׂבְּעוּןyis/be/UNthey are filled withטוֹב׃tovgood

    That thou givest them they gather: thou openest thine hand, they are filled with good.

29. 29

    תַּסְתִּירtas/TIRYou hideפָּנֶיךָpa/NE/khaYour faceיִבָּהֵלוּןyib/ba/he/LUNthey are dismayedתֹּסֵףto/SEFYou gatherרוּחָםru/CHAMtheir breathיִגְוָעוּןyig/va/UNthey dieוְאֶל־עֲפָרָםve/EL-a/fa/RAMand to their dustיְשׁוּבוּן׃ye/shu/VUNthey return

    Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.

30. 30

    תְּשַׁלַּחte/shal/LACHYou send forthרוּחֲךָru/cha/KHAYour spiritיִבָּרֵאוּןyib/ba/re/UNthey are createdוּתְחַדֵּשׁu/te/chad/DESHand You renewפְּנֵיpe/NEthe face ofאֲדָמָה׃a/da/MAthe earth

    Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.

31. 31

    יְהִיye/HIlet endureכְבוֹדkhe/VODthe glory ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDלְעוֹלָםle/o/LAMforeverיִשְׂמַחyis/MACHlet rejoiceיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDבְּמַעֲשָׂיו׃be/ma/a/SAYVin His works

    The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works.

32. 32

    הַמַּבִּיטham/mab/BITwho looksלָאָרֶץla/A/retson the earthוַתִּרְעָדvat/tir/ADand it tremblesיִגַּעyig/GAHe touchesבֶּהָרִיםbe/ha/RIMthe hillsוְיֶעֱשָׁנוּ׃ve/ye/e/SHA/nuand they smoke

    He looketh on the earth, and it trembleth: he toucheth the hills, and they smoke.

33. 33

    אָשִׁירָהa/SHI/raI will singלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDבְּחַיָּיbe/chay/YAYas long as I liveאֲזַמְּרָהa/zam/me/RAI will sing praiseלֵאלֹהַיle/lo/HAYto my Godבְּעוֹדִי׃be/o/DIwhile I yet live

    I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.

34. 34

    יֶעֱרַבye/e/RAVlet be sweetעָלָיוa/LAYVto Himשִׂיחִיsi/CHImy meditationאָנֹכִיa/no/KHIIאֶשְׂמַחes/MACHwill rejoiceבַּיהֹוָה׃ba-Adonaiin the LORD

    My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the LORD.

35. 35

    יִתַּמּוּyit/TAM/mulet be consumedחַטָּאִיםchat/ta/IMthe sinnersמִן־הָאָרֶץmin-ha/A/retsout of the earthוּרְשָׁעִיםu/re/sha/IMand the wickedעוֹדodno moreאֵינָםe/NAMlet them beבָּרְכִיba/re/KHIblessנַפְשִׁיnaf/SHIO my soulאֶת־יְהֹוָהet-Adonaithe LORDהַלְלוּ־יָהּ׃HAL/lu-yapraise the LORD

    Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou the LORD, O my soul. Praise ye the LORD.
