   לְדָוִדof DavidבָּרְכִיblessנַפְשִׁיO my soulאֶת־יְהֹוָהthe LORDוְכׇל־קְרָבַיand all that is within meאֶת־שֵׁםthe name ofקׇדְשׁוֹ׃His holiness

   A Psalm of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

2. 2

   בָּרְכִיblessנַפְשִׁיO my soulאֶת־יְהֹוָהthe LORDוְאַל־תִּשְׁכְּחִיand forget notכׇּל־גְּמוּלָיו׃all His benefits

   Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

   הַסֹּלֵחַwho forgivesלְכׇל־עֲוֺנֵכִיto all your iniquityהָרֹפֵאwho healsלְכׇל־תַּחֲלוּאָיְכִי׃to all your diseases

   Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

   הַגּוֹאֵלwho redeemsמִשַּׁחַתfrom destructionחַיָּיְכִיyour lifeהַמְעַטְּרֵכִיwho crowns youחֶסֶדwith mercyוְרַחֲמִים׃and tender mercies

   Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

   הַמַּשְׂבִּיעַwho satisfiesבַּטּוֹבwith goodעֶדְיֵךְyour primeתִּתְחַדֵּשׁso that is renewedכַּנֶּשֶׁרlike the eagleנְעוּרָיְכִי׃your youth

   Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

   עֹשֵׂהexecutesצְדָקוֹתrighteousnessיְהֹוָהthe LORDוּמִשְׁפָּטִיםand justiceלְכׇל־עֲשׁוּקִים׃for all who are oppressed

   The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

   יוֹדִיעַHe made knownדְּרָכָיוHis waysלְמֹשֶׁהto Mosesלִבְנֵיto the children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלIsraelעֲלִילוֹתָיו׃His acts

   He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.

8. 8

   רַחוּםmercifulוְחַנּוּןand graciousיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֶרֶךְslow toאַפַּיִםangerוְרַב־חָסֶד׃and plenteous in mercy

   The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

9. 9

   לֹא־לָנֶצַחHe will not alwaysיָרִיבchideוְלֹאand notלְעוֹלָםforeverיִטּוֹר׃will He keep His anger

   He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.

10. 10

    לֹאnotכַחֲטָאֵינוּafter our sinsעָשָׂהhas He dealtלָנוּwith usוְלֹאand notכַעֲוֺנֹתֵינוּaccording to our iniquitiesגָּמַלhas He rewardedעָלֵינוּ׃us

    He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

11. 11

    כִּיforכִגְבֹהַּas high as areשָׁמַיִםthe heavensעַל־הָאָרֶץabove the earthגָּבַרso great isחַסְדּוֹHis mercyעַל־יְרֵאָיו׃toward those who fear Him

    For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

12. 12

    כִּרְחֹקas far asמִזְרָחthe east isמִמַּעֲרָבfrom the westהִרְחִיקso far has He removedמִמֶּנּוּfrom usאֶת־פְּשָׁעֵינוּ׃our transgressions

    As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

13. 13

    כְּרַחֵםas pitiesאָבfatherעַל־בָּנִיםhis childrenרִחַםso pitiesיְהֹוָהthe LORDעַל־יְרֵאָיו׃those who fear Him

    Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.

14. 14

    כִּי־הוּאfor Heיָדַעknowsיִצְרֵנוּour frameזָכוּרHe remembersכִּי־עָפָרthat dustאֲנָחְנוּ׃we are

    For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.

15. 15

    אֱנוֹשׁas for manכֶּחָצִירas grassיָמָיוhis daysכְּצִיץas a flower ofהַשָּׂדֶהthe fieldכֵּןsoיָצִיץ׃he flourishes

    As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.

16. 16

    כִּיforרוּחַthe windעָבְרָה־בּוֹpasses over itוְאֵינֶנּוּand it is notוְלֹא־יַכִּירֶנּוּand knows it no moreעוֹדany moreמְקוֹמוֹ׃its place

    For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.

17. 17

    וְחֶסֶדbut the mercy ofיְהֹוָהthe LORDמֵעוֹלָםis from everlastingוְעַד־עוֹלָםto everlastingעַל־יְרֵאָיוupon those fearing himוְצִדְקָתוֹand His righteousnessלִבְנֵיto children'sבָנִים׃children

    But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;

18. 18

    לְשֹׁמְרֵיto such as keepבְרִיתוֹHis covenantוּלְזֹכְרֵיand to those who rememberפִקֻּדָיוHis preceptsלַעֲשׂוֹתָם׃to do them

    To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.

19. 19

    יְהֹוָהthe LORDבַּשָּׁמַיִםin the heavensהֵכִיןhas establishedכִּסְאוֹHis throneוּמַלְכוּתוֹand His kingdomבַּכֹּלover allמָשָׁלָה׃rules

    The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.

20. 20

    בָּרְכוּblessיְהֹוָהthe LORDמַלְאָכָיוyou His angelsגִּבֹּרֵיmighty inכֹחַstrengthעֹשֵׂיwho doדְבָרוֹHis wordלִשְׁמֹעַhearkening toבְּקוֹלthe voice ofדְּבָרוֹ׃His word

    Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

21. 21

    בָּרְכוּblessיְהֹוָהthe LORDכׇּל־צְבָאָיוall you His hostsמְשָׁרְתָיוyou ministers of Hisעֹשֵׂיwho doרְצוֹנוֹ׃His will

    Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.

22. 22

    בָּרְכוּblessיְהֹוָהthe LORDכׇּל־מַעֲשָׂיוall His worksבְּכׇל־מְקֹמוֹתin all the places ofמֶמְשַׁלְתּוֹHis dominionבָּרְכִיblessנַפְשִׁיO my soulאֶת־יְהֹוָה׃the LORD

    Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul.
