    And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

    דַּבֵּרdab/BERspeakאֶל־בְּנֵיel-be/NEto the children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelוְאָמַרְתָּve/a/mar/TAand sayאֲלֵהֶםa/le/HEMto themאִישׁisha manאוֹ־אִשָּׁהo-ish/SHAor a womanכִּיkiwhenיַפְלִאyaf/LImakes specialלִנְדֹּרlin/DORto vowנֶדֶרNE/dera vowנָזִירNa/ZIRof a Naziriteלְהַזִּירle/haz/ZIRto separate himselfלַיהֹוָה׃la-Adonaito the LORD

    Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When either man or woman shall separate themselves to vow a vow of a Nazarite, to separate themselves unto the LORD:

    מִיַּיִןmiy/YA/yinfrom wineוְשֵׁכָרve/she/KHARand strong drinkיַזִּירyaz/ZIRhe shall separate himselfחֹמֶץCHO/metsvinegar ofיַיִןYA/yinwineוְחֹמֶץve/CHO/metsand vinegar ofשֵׁכָרshe/KHARstrong drinkלֹאlonotיִשְׁתֶּהyish/TEshall he drinkוְכׇל־מִשְׁרַתve/KHOL-mish/RATand any juice ofעֲנָבִיםa/na/VIMgrapesלֹאlonotיִשְׁתֶּהyish/TEshall he drinkוַעֲנָבִיםva/a/na/VIMand grapesלַחִיםla/CHIMfreshוִיבֵשִׁיםvi/ve/SHIMand driedלֹאlonotיֹאכֵל׃yo/KHELshall he eat

    He shall separate himself from wine and strong drink, and shall drink no vinegar of wine, or vinegar of strong drink, neither shall he drink any liquor of grapes, nor eat moist grapes, or dried.

    All the days of his separation shall he eat nothing that is made of the vine tree, from the kernels even to the husk.

    כׇּל־יְמֵיkol-ye/MEall the days ofנֶדֶרNE/derthe vow ofנִזְרוֹniz/ROhis separationתַּעַרTA/ara razorלֹא־יַעֲבֹרlo-ya/a/VORshall not passעַל־רֹאשׁוֹal-ro/SHOupon his headעַד־מְלֹאתad-me/LOTuntil are fulfilledהַיָּמִםhay/ya/MIMthe daysאֲשֶׁר־יַזִּירa/SHER-yaz/ZIRwhich he separates himselfלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDקָדֹשׁka/DOSHholyיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall beגַּדֵּלgad/DELhe shall let growפֶּרַעPE/rathe locks ofשְׂעַרse/ARthe hair ofרֹאשׁוֹ׃ro/SHOhis head

    All the days of the vow of his separation there shall no razor come upon his head: until the days be fulfilled, in the which he separateth himself unto the LORD, he shall be holy, and shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow.

    כׇּל־יְמֵיkol-ye/MEall the days ofהַזִּירוֹhaz/zi/ROhis separationלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDעַל־נֶפֶשׁal-NE/feshto a bodyמֵתmetdeadלֹאlonotיָבֹא׃ya/VOshall he come

    All the days that he separateth himself unto the LORD he shall come at no dead body.

    לְאָבִיוle/a/VIVfor his fatherוּלְאִמּוֹu/le/im/MOand for his motherלְאָחִיוle/a/CHIVfor his brotherוּלְאַחֹתוֹu/le/a/cho/TOand for his sisterלֹא־יִטַּמָּאlo-yit/tam/MAhe shall not defile himselfלָהֶםla/HEMfor themבְּמֹתָםbe/mo/TAMwhen they dieכִּיkibecauseנֵזֶרNE/zerthe separation ofאֱלֹהָיוe/lo/HAYVhis Godעַל־רֹאשׁוֹ׃al-ro/SHOupon his head

    He shall not make himself unclean for his father, or for his mother, for his brother, or for his sister, when they die: because the consecration of his God is upon his head.

    כֹּלkolallיְמֵיye/MEthe days ofנִזְרוֹniz/ROhis separationקָדֹשׁka/DOSHholyהוּאhuhe isלַיהֹוָה׃la-Adonaito the LORD

    All the days of his separation he is holy unto the LORD.

  9. 9

    וְכִי־יָמוּתve/KHI-ya/MUTand if diesמֵתmeta dead manעָלָיוa/LAYVbeside himבְּפֶתַעbe/FE/tain an instantפִּתְאֹםpit/OMsuddenlyוְטִמֵּאve/tim/MEand he defilesרֹאשׁroshthe head ofנִזְרוֹniz/ROhis separationוְגִלַּחve/gil/LACHand he shall shaveרֹאשׁוֹro/SHOhis headבְּיוֹםbe/YOMon the day ofטׇהֳרָתוֹto/ho/ra/TOhis cleansingבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMon the dayהַשְּׁבִיעִיhash/she/vi/Ithe seventhיְגַלְּחֶנּוּ׃ye/gal/le/CHEN/nuhe shall shave it

    And if any man die very suddenly by him, and he hath defiled the head of his consecration; then he shall shave his head in the day of his cleansing, on the seventh day shall he shave it.

    וּבַיּוֹםu/vay/YOMand on the dayהַשְּׁמִינִיhash/she/mi/NIthe eighthיָבִאya/VIhe shall bringשְׁתֵּיshtetwoתֹרִיםto/RIMturtledovesאוֹoorשְׁנֵיshe/NEtwoבְּנֵיbe/NEyoungיוֹנָהyo/NApigeonsאֶל־הַכֹּהֵןel-hak/ko/HENto the priestאֶל־פֶּתַחel-PE/tachto the door ofאֹהֶלO/helthe tent ofמוֹעֵד׃mo/EDmeeting

    And on the eighth day he shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons, to the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:

    וְעָשָׂהve/a/SAand shall offerהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestאֶחָדe/CHADoneלְחַטָּאתle/chat/TATfor a sin offeringוְאֶחָדve/e/CHADand oneלְעֹלָהle/o/LAfor a burnt offeringוְכִפֶּרve/khip/PERand he shall make atonementעָלָיוa/LAYVfor himמֵאֲשֶׁרme/a/SHERbecauseחָטָאcha/TAhe sinnedעַל־הַנָּפֶשׁal-han/NA/feshby the bodyוְקִדַּשׁve/kid/DASHand he shall consecrateאֶת־רֹאשׁוֹet-ro/SHOhis headבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMon the dayהַהוּא׃ha/HUthat

    And the priest shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, and make an atonement for him, for that he sinned by the dead, and shall hallow his head that same day.

    וְהִזִּירve/hiz/ZIRand he shall separateלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDאֶת־יְמֵיet-ye/MEthe days ofנִזְרוֹniz/ROhis separationוְהֵבִיאve/he/VIand he shall bringכֶּבֶשׂKE/vesa lambבֶּן־שְׁנָתוֹben-she/na/TOa year oldלְאָשָׁםle/a/SHAMfor a guilt offeringוְהַיָּמִיםve/hay/ya/MIMand the daysהָרִאשֹׁנִיםha/ri/sho/NIMformerיִפְּלוּyip/pe/LUshall lapseכִּיkibecauseטָמֵאta/MEwas defiledנִזְרוֹ׃niz/ROhis separation

    And he shall consecrate unto the LORD the days of his separation, and shall bring a lamb of the first year for a trespass offering: but the days that were before shall be lost, because his separation was defiled.

  13. 13

    וְזֹאתve/ZOTand thisתּוֹרַתto/RATthe law ofהַנָּזִירhan/Na/ZIRthe Naziriteבְּיוֹםbe/YOMon the day ofמְלֹאתme/LOTthe completion ofיְמֵיye/MEthe days ofנִזְרוֹniz/ROhis separationיָבִיאya/VIhe shall bringאֹתוֹo/TOhimאֶל־פֶּתַחel-PE/tachto the door ofאֹהֶלO/helthe tent ofמוֹעֵד׃mo/EDmeeting

    And this is the law of the Nazarite, when the days of his separation are fulfilled: he shall be brought unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:

  14. 14

    וְהִקְרִיבve/hik/RIVand shall offerאֶת־קׇרְבָּנוֹet-kor/ba/NOhis offeringלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDכֶּבֶשׂKE/vesa lambבֶּן־שְׁנָתוֹben-she/na/TOa year oldתָמִיםta/MIMwithout blemishאֶחָדe/CHADoneלְעֹלָהle/o/LAfor a burnt offeringוְכַבְשָׂהve/khav/SAand a ewe lambאַחַתa/CHAToneבַּת־שְׁנָתָהּbat-she/na/TAa year oldתְּמִימָהte/mi/MAwithout blemishלְחַטָּאתle/chat/TATfor a sin offeringוְאַיִל־אֶחָדve/A/yil-e/CHADand one ramתָּמִיםta/MIMwithout blemishלִשְׁלָמִים׃lish/la/MIMfor peace offerings

    And he shall offer his offering unto the LORD, one he lamb of the first year without blemish for a burnt offering, and one ewe lamb of the first year without blemish for a sin offering, and one ram without blemish for peace offerings,

    וְסַלve/SALand a basket ofמַצּוֹתmats/TSOTunleavened breadסֹלֶתSO/letfine flourחַלֹּתchal/LOTcakesבְּלוּלֹתbe/lu/LOTmixedבַּשֶּׁמֶןbash/SHE/menwith oilוּרְקִיקֵיu/re/ki/KEand wafers ofמַצּוֹתmats/TSOTunleavened breadמְשֻׁחִיםme/shu/CHIManointedבַּשָּׁמֶןbash/SHA/menwith oilוּמִנְחָתָםu/min/cha/TAMand their grain offeringוְנִסְכֵּיהֶם׃ve/nis/ke/HEMand their drink offerings

    And a basket of unleavened bread, cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, and wafers of unleavened bread anointed with oil, and their meat offering, and their drink offerings.

    וְהִקְרִיבve/hik/RIVand shall presentהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDוְעָשָׂהve/a/SAand shall offerאֶת־חַטָּאתוֹet-chat/ta/TOhis sin offeringוְאֶת־עֹלָתוֹ׃ve/ET-o/la/TOand his burnt offering

    And the priest shall bring them before the LORD, and shall offer his sin offering, and his burnt offering:

  17. 17

    וְאֶת־הָאַיִלve/ET-ha/A/yiland the ramיַעֲשֶׂהya/a/SEhe shall offerזֶבַחZE/vachas a sacrifice ofשְׁלָמִיםshe/la/MIMpeace offeringsלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDעַלalwithסַלsalthe basket ofהַמַּצּוֹתham/mats/TSOTthe unleavened breadוְעָשָׂהve/a/SAand shall offerהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestאֶת־מִנְחָתוֹet-min/cha/TOits grain offeringוְאֶת־נִסְכּוֹ׃ve/ET-nis/KOand its drink offering

    And he shall offer the ram for a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD, with the basket of unleavened bread: the priest shall offer also his meat offering, and his drink offering.

  18. 18

    וְגִלַּחve/gil/LACHand he shall shaveהַנָּזִירhan/Na/ZIRthe NaziriteפֶּתַחPE/tachat the door ofאֹהֶלO/helthe tent ofמוֹעֵדmo/EDmeetingאֶת־רֹאשׁet-roshthe head ofנִזְרוֹniz/ROhis separationוְלָקַחve/la/KACHand shall takeאֶת־שְׂעַרet-se/ARthe hair ofרֹאשׁroshthe head ofנִזְרוֹniz/ROhis separationוְנָתַןve/na/TANand put itעַל־הָאֵשׁal-ha/ESHon the fireאֲשֶׁר־תַּחַתa/SHER-TA/chatwhich is underזֶבַחZE/vachthe sacrifice ofהַשְּׁלָמִים׃hash/she/la/MIMthe peace offerings

    And the Nazarite shall shave the head of his separation at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall take the hair of the head of his separation, and put it in the fire which is under the sacrifice of the peace offerings.

    וְלָקַחve/la/KACHand shall takeהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestאֶת־הַזְּרֹעַet-haz/ze/RO/athe shoulderבְּשֵׁלָהbe/she/LAboiledמִן־הָאַיִלmin-ha/A/yilof the ramוְחַלַּתve/chal/LATand a cake ofמַצָּהmats/TSAunleavened breadאַחַתa/CHAToneמִן־הַסַּלmin-has/SALfrom the basketוּרְקִיקu/re/KIKand a wafer ofמַצָּהmats/TSAunleavened breadאֶחָדe/CHADoneוְנָתַןve/na/TANand shall put themעַל־כַּפֵּיal-kap/PEin the hands ofהַנָּזִירhan/Na/ZIRthe Naziriteאַחַרa/CHARafterהִתְגַּלְּחוֹhit/gal/le/CHOhe has shavedאֶת־נִזְרוֹ׃et-niz/ROhis separation

    And the priest shall take the sodden shoulder of the ram, and one unleavened cake out of the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and shall put them upon the hands of the Nazarite, after the hair of his separation is shaven:

    וְהֵנִיףve/he/NIFand shall waveאוֹתָםo/TAMthemהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestתְּנוּפָהte/nu/FAas a wave offeringלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDקֹדֶשׁKO/deshholyהוּאhuit isלַכֹּהֵןlak/ko/HENfor the priestעַלalwithחֲזֵהcha/ZEthe breast ofהַתְּנוּפָהhat/te/nu/FAthe wave offeringוְעַלve/ALand withשׁוֹקshokthe thigh ofהַתְּרוּמָהhat/te/ru/MAthe heave offeringוְאַחַרve/a/CHARand thenיִשְׁתֶּהyish/TEmay drinkהַנָּזִירhan/Na/ZIRthe Naziriteיָיִן׃YA/yinwine

    And the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before the LORD: this is holy for the priest, with the wave breast and heave shoulder: and after that the Nazarite may drink wine.

    זֹאתzotthisתּוֹרַתto/RATthe law ofהַנָּזִירhan/Na/ZIRthe Naziriteאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoיִדֹּרyid/DORvowsקׇרְבָּנוֹkor/ba/NOhis offeringלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDעַל־נִזְרוֹal-niz/ROfor his separationמִלְּבַדmil/le/VADbesidesאֲשֶׁר־תַּשִּׂיגa/SHER-tas/SIGthat can getיָדוֹya/DOhis handכְּפִיke/FIaccording toנִדְרוֹnid/ROhis vowאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichיִדֹּרyid/DORhe vowsכֵּןkenthusיַעֲשֶׂהya/a/SEhe shall doעַלalaccording toתּוֹרַתto/RATthe law ofנִזְרוֹ׃niz/ROhis separation

    This is the law of the Nazarite who hath vowed, and of his offering unto the LORD for his separation, beside that that his hand shall get: according to the vow which he vowed, so he must do after the law of his separation.

    וַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand spokeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהel-Mo/SHEto Mosesלֵּאמֹר׃le/MORsaying

    And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

  23. 23

    דַּבֵּרdab/BERspeakאֶל־אַהֲרֹןel-A/ha/RONto Aaronוְאֶל־בָּנָיוve/EL-ba/NAYVand his sonsלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingכֹּהkothusתְבָרְכוּte/va/re/KHUyou shall blessאֶת־בְּנֵיet-be/NEthe children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelאָמוֹרa/MORsayלָהֶם׃la/HEMto them

    Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them,

  24. 24

    יְבָרֶכְךָye/va/rekh/KHAbless youיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDוְיִשְׁמְרֶךָ׃ve/yish/me/RE/khaand keep you

    The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:

  25. 25

    יָאֵרya/ERmake shineיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDפָּנָיוpa/NAYVHis faceאֵלֶיךָe/LE/khaupon youוִיחֻנֶּךָּ׃vi/chun/NEK/kaand be gracious to you

    The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:

  26. 26

    יִשָּׂאyis/SAlift upיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDפָּנָיוpa/NAYVHis faceאֵלֶיךָe/LE/khaupon youוְיָשֵׂםve/ya/SEMand giveלְךָle/KHAyouשָׁלוֹם׃sha/LOMpeace

    The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

  27. 27

    וְשָׂמוּve/sa/MUand they shall putאֶת־שְׁמִיet-she/MImy nameעַל־בְּנֵיal-be/NEupon the children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelוַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iאֲבָרְכֵם׃a/va/re/KHEMwill bless them

    And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them.
