   And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

   נָשֹׂאna/SOtakeאֶת־רֹאשׁet-roshthe sum ofבְּנֵיbe/NEthe sons ofקְהָתKe/HATKohathמִתּוֹךְmit/TOKHfrom amongבְּנֵיbe/NEthe sons ofלֵוִיLe/VILeviלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָםle/mish/pe/cho/TAMby their familiesלְבֵיתle/VETby the house ofאֲבֹתָם׃a/vo/TAMtheir fathers

   Take the sum of the sons of Kohath from among the sons of Levi, after their families, by the house of their fathers,

   From thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all that enter into the host, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.

   זֹאתzotthisעֲבֹדַתa/vo/DATthe service ofבְּנֵי־קְהָתbe/NE-ke/HATthe sons of Kohathבְּאֹהֶלbe/O/helin the tent ofמוֹעֵדmo/EDmeetingקֹדֶשׁKO/deshholy ofהַקֳּדָשִׁים׃hak/ko/da/SHIMholies

   This shall be the service of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation, about the most holy things:

   וּבָאu/VAand shall comeאַהֲרֹןA/ha/RONAaronוּבָנָיוu/va/NAYVand his sonsבִּנְסֹעַbin/SO/awhen sets outהַמַּחֲנֶהham/ma/cha/NEthe campוְהוֹרִדוּve/ho/RI/duand take downאֵת־פָּרֹכֶתet-pa/RO/khetthe veil ofהַמָּסָךְham/ma/SAKHthe screenוְכִסּוּ־בָהּve/khis/SU-vaand cover with itאֵת־אֲרֹןet-a/RONthe ark ofהָעֵדֻת׃ha/e/DUTthe testimony

   And when the camp setteth forward, Aaron shall come, and his sons, and they shall take down the covering vail, and cover the ark of testimony with it:

   וְנָתְנוּve/na/te/NUand shall putעָלָיוa/LAYVon itכְּסוּיke/SUYthe covering ofעוֹרorskinתַּחַשׁTA/chashbadgerוּפָרְשׂוּu/fa/re/SUand spreadבֶגֶד־כְּלִילVE/ged-ke/LILa cloth wholly ofתְּכֵלֶתte/KHE/letblueמִלְמָעְלָהmil/MA/laover itוְשָׂמוּve/sa/MUand put inבַּדָּיו׃bad/DAYVits poles

   And shall put thereon the covering of badgers' skins, and shall spread over it a cloth wholly of blue, and shall put in the staves thereof.

   וְעַלve/ALand uponשֻׁלְחַןshul/CHANthe table ofהַפָּנִיםhap/pa/NIMthe presenceיִפְרְשׂוּyif/re/SUthey shall spreadבֶּגֶדBE/geda cloth ofתְּכֵלֶתte/KHE/letblueוְנָתְנוּve/na/te/NUand shall putעָלָיוa/LAYVon itאֶת־הַקְּעָרֹתet-hak/ke/a/ROTthe dishesוְאֶת־הַכַּפֹּתve/ET-hak/kap/POTand the pansוְאֶת־הַמְּנַקִּיֹּתve/ET-ham/me/nak/kiy/YOTand the bowlsוְאֵתve/ETandקְשׂוֹתke/SOTthe jugs ofהַנָּסֶךְhan/NA/sekhthe drink offeringוְלֶחֶםve/LE/chemand the bread ofהַתָּמִידhat/ta/MIDthe continualעָלָיוa/LAYVon itיִהְיֶה׃yih/YEshall be

   And upon the table of shewbread they shall spread a cloth of blue, and put thereon the dishes, and the spoons, and the bowls, and covers to cover withal: and the continual bread shall be thereon:

   וּפָרְשׂוּu/fa/re/SUand spreadעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMon themבֶּגֶדBE/geda cloth ofתּוֹלַעַתto/LA/atcrimsonשָׁנִיsha/NIscarletוְכִסּוּve/khis/SUand coverאֹתוֹo/TOitבְּמִכְסֵהbe/mikh/SEwith a covering ofעוֹרorskinתָּחַשׁTA/chashbadgerוְשָׂמוּve/sa/MUand put inאֶת־בַּדָּיו׃et-bad/DAYVits poles

   And they shall spread upon them a cloth of scarlet, and cover the same with a covering of badgers' skins, and shall put in the staves thereof.

   וְלָקְחוּve/la/ke/CHUand they shall takeבֶּגֶדBE/geda cloth ofתְּכֵלֶתte/KHE/letblueוְכִסּוּve/khis/SUand coverאֶת־מְנֹרַתet-me/no/RATthe lampstand ofהַמָּאוֹרham/ma/ORthe lightוְאֶת־נֵרֹתֶיהָve/ET-ne/ro/TE/haand its lampsוְאֶת־מַלְקָחֶיהָve/ET-mal/ka/CHE/haand its tongsוְאֶת־מַחְתֹּתֶיהָve/ET-mach/to/TE/haand its firepansוְאֵתve/ETandכׇּל־כְּלֵיkol-ke/LEall the vessels ofשַׁמְנָהּsham/NAits oilאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichיְשָׁרְתוּ־לָהּye/sha/re/TU-lathey minister to itבָּהֶם׃ba/HEMwith them

   And they shall take a cloth of blue, and cover the candlestick of the light, and his lamps, and his tongs, and his snuffdishes, and all the oil vessels thereof, wherewith they minister unto it:

    וְנָתְנוּve/na/te/NUand shall putאֹתָהּo/TAitוְאֶת־כׇּל־כֵּלֶיהָve/ET-kol-ke/LE/haand all its articlesאֶל־מִכְסֵהel-mikh/SEwithin a covering ofעוֹרorskinתָּחַשׁTA/chashbadgerוְנָתְנוּve/na/te/NUand shall putעַל־הַמּוֹט׃al-ham/MOTupon a carrying frame

    And they shall put it and all the vessels thereof within a covering of badgers' skins, and shall put it upon a bar.

    וְעַלve/ALand uponמִזְבַּחmiz/BACHthe altar ofהַזָּהָבhaz/za/HAVgoldיִפְרְשׂוּyif/re/SUthey shall spreadבֶּגֶדBE/geda cloth ofתְּכֵלֶתte/KHE/letblueוְכִסּוּve/khis/SUand coverאֹתוֹo/TOitבְּמִכְסֵהbe/mikh/SEwith a covering ofעוֹרorskinתָּחַשׁTA/chashbadgerוְשָׂמוּve/sa/MUand put inאֶת־בַּדָּיו׃et-bad/DAYVits poles

    And upon the golden altar they shall spread a cloth of blue, and cover it with a covering of badgers' skins, and shall put to the staves thereof:

12. 12

    וְלָקְחוּve/la/ke/CHUand they shall takeאֶת־כׇּל־כְּלֵיet-kol-ke/LEall the vessels ofהַשָּׁרֵתhash/sha/RETministryאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichיְשָׁרְתוּ־בָםye/sha/re/TU-vamthey minister withבַּקֹּדֶשׁbak/KO/deshin the sanctuaryוְנָתְנוּve/na/te/NUand shall putאֶל־בֶּגֶדel-BE/gedin a cloth ofתְּכֵלֶתte/KHE/letblueוְכִסּוּve/khis/SUand coverאוֹתָםo/TAMthemבְּמִכְסֵהbe/mikh/SEwith a covering ofעוֹרorskinתָּחַשׁTA/chashbadgerוְנָתְנוּve/na/te/NUand shall putעַל־הַמּוֹט׃al-ham/MOTupon a carrying frame

    And they shall take all the instruments of ministry, wherewith they minister in the sanctuary, and put them in a cloth of blue, and cover them with a covering of badgers' skins, and shall put them on a bar:

13. 13

    וְדִשְּׁנוּve/dish/she/NUand they shall clear the ashes fromאֶת־הַמִּזְבֵּחַet-ham/miz/BE/achthe altarוּפָרְשׂוּu/fa/re/SUand spreadעָלָיוa/LAYVon itבֶּגֶדBE/geda cloth ofאַרְגָּמָן׃ar/ga/MANpurple

    And they shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth thereon:

14. 14

    וְנָתְנוּve/na/te/NUand shall putעָלָיוa/LAYVon itאֶת־כׇּל־כֵּלָיוet-kol-ke/LAYVall its vesselsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichיְשָׁרְתוּye/sha/re/TUthey ministerעָלָיוa/LAYVabout itבָּהֶםba/HEMwith themאֶת־הַמַּחְתֹּתet-ham/mach/TOTthe firepansאֶת־הַמִּזְלָגֹתet-ham/miz/la/GOTthe forksוְאֶת־הַיָּעִיםve/ET-hay/ya/IMand the shovelsוְאֶת־הַמִּזְרָקֹתve/ET-ham/miz/ra/KOTand the bowlsכֹּלkolallכְּלֵיke/LEthe vessels ofהַמִּזְבֵּחַham/miz/BE/achthe altarוּפָרְשׂוּu/fa/re/SUand spreadעָלָיוa/LAYVon itכְּסוּיke/SUYa covering ofעוֹרorskinתַּחַשׁTA/chashbadgerוְשָׂמוּve/sa/MUand put inבַדָּיו׃vad/DAYVits poles

    And they shall put upon it all the vessels thereof, wherewith they minister about it, even the censers, the fleshhooks, and the shovels, and the basons, all the vessels of the altar; and they shall spread upon it a covering of badgers' skins, and put to the staves of it.

15. 15

    וְכִלָּהve/khil/LAand when have finishedאַהֲרֹן־וּבָנָיוA/ha/RON-u/va/NAYVAaron and his sonsלְכַסֹּתle/khas/SOTcoveringאֶת־הַקֹּדֶשׁet-hak/KO/deshthe sanctuaryוְאֶת־כׇּל־כְּלֵיve/ET-kol-ke/LEand all the vessels ofהַקֹּדֶשׁhak/KO/deshthe sanctuaryבִּנְסֹעַbin/SO/aas sets outהַמַּחֲנֶהham/ma/cha/NEthe campוְאַחֲרֵי־כֵןve/a/cha/RE-khenafter thatיָבֹאוּya/VO/ushall comeבְנֵי־קְהָתve/NE-ke/HATthe sons of Kohathלָשֵׂאתla/SETto carry itוְלֹא־יִגְּעוּve/LO-yig/ge/Ubut they shall not touchאֶל־הַקֹּדֶשׁel-hak/KO/deshthe holy thingוָמֵתוּva/ME/tulest they dieאֵלֶּהEL/lethese areמַשָּׂאmas/SAthe burden ofבְנֵי־קְהָתve/NE-ke/HATthe sons of Kohathבְּאֹהֶלbe/O/helin the tent ofמוֹעֵד׃mo/EDmeeting

    And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to set forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear it: but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation.

    וּפְקֻדַּתu/fe/kud/DATand the charge ofאֶלְעָזָרEl/a/ZAREleazarבֶּן־אַהֲרֹןben-A/ha/RONson of Aaronהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestשֶׁמֶןSHE/menthe oil ofהַמָּאוֹרham/ma/ORthe lightוּקְטֹרֶתu/ke/TO/retand the incense ofהַסַּמִּיםhas/sam/MIMsweet spicesוּמִנְחַתu/min/CHATand the grain offering ofהַתָּמִידhat/ta/MIDthe continualוְשֶׁמֶןve/SHE/menand the oil ofהַמִּשְׁחָהham/mish/CHAanointingפְּקֻדַּתpe/kud/DATthe charge ofכׇּל־הַמִּשְׁכָּןkol-ham/mish/KANall the tabernacleוְכׇל־אֲשֶׁר־בּוֹve/KHOL-a/SHER-boand all that is in itבְּקֹדֶשׁbe/KO/deshin the sanctuaryוּבְכֵלָיו׃u/ve/khe/LAYVand in its vessels

    And to the office of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest pertaineth the oil for the light, and the sweet incense, and the daily meat offering, and the anointing oil, and the oversight of all the tabernacle, and of all that therein is, in the sanctuary, and in the vessels thereof.

17. 17

    וַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand spokeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהel-Mo/SHEto Mosesוְאֶל־אַהֲרֹןve/EL-a/ha/RONand Aaronלֵאמֹר׃le/MORsaying

    And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

18. 18

    אַל־תַּכְרִיתוּal-takh/RI/tudo not cut offאֶת־שֵׁבֶטet-SHE/vetthe tribe ofמִשְׁפְּחֹתmish/pe/CHOTthe families ofהַקְּהָתִיhak/Ke/ha/TIthe Kohathitesמִתּוֹךְmit/TOKHfrom amongהַלְוִיִּם׃Hal/viy/YIMthe Levites

    Cut ye not off the tribe of the families of the Kohathites from among the Levites:

19. 19

    וְזֹאתve/ZOTand thisעֲשׂוּa/SUdoלָהֶםla/HEMto themוְחָיוּve/cha/YUthat they may liveוְלֹאve/LOand notיָמֻתוּya/MU/tudieבְּגִשְׁתָּםbe/gish/TAMwhen they approachאֶת־קֹדֶשׁet-KO/deshholy ofהַקֳּדָשִׁיםhak/ko/da/SHIMholiesאַהֲרֹןA/ha/RONAaronוּבָנָיוu/va/NAYVand his sonsיָבֹאוּya/VO/ushall go inוְשָׂמוּve/sa/MUand appointאוֹתָםo/TAMthemאִישׁishevery oneאִישׁisheachעַל־עֲבֹדָתוֹal-a/vo/da/TOto his serviceוְאֶל־מַשָּׂאוֹ׃ve/EL-mas/sa/Oand to his burden

    But thus do unto them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach unto the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in, and appoint them every one to his service and to his burden:

20. 20

    וְלֹא־יָבֹאוּve/LO-ya/VO/ubut they shall not go inלִרְאוֹתlir/OTto seeכְּבַלַּעke/val/LAeven for an instantאֶת־הַקֹּדֶשׁet-hak/KO/deshthe holy thingsוָמֵתוּ׃va/ME/tulest they die

    But they shall not go in to see when the holy things are covered, lest they die.

21. 21

    וַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand spokeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהel-Mo/SHEto Mosesלֵּאמֹר׃le/MORsaying

    And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

22. 22

    נָשֹׂאna/SOtakeאֶת־רֹאשׁet-roshthe sum ofבְּנֵיbe/NEthe sons ofגֵרְשׁוֹןGer/SHONGershonגַּם־הֵםgam-hemthey alsoלְבֵיתle/VETby the house ofאֲבֹתָםa/vo/TAMtheir fathersלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם׃le/mish/pe/cho/TAMby their families

    Take also the sum of the sons of Gershon, throughout the houses of their fathers, by their families;

23. 23

    מִבֶּןmib/BENfromשְׁלֹשִׁיםshe/lo/SHIMthirtyשָׁנָהsha/NAyears oldוָמַעְלָהva/MA/laand upwardעַדaduntilבֶּן־חֲמִשִּׁיםben-cha/mish/SHIMfiftyשָׁנָהsha/NAyears oldתִּפְקֹדtif/KODyou shall numberאוֹתָםo/TAMthemכׇּל־הַבָּאkol-hab/BAall who enterלִצְבֹאlits/VOto performצָבָאtsa/VAthe serviceלַעֲבֹדla/a/VODto doעֲבֹדָהa/vo/DAthe workבְּאֹהֶלbe/O/helin the tent ofמוֹעֵד׃mo/EDmeeting

    From thirty years old and upward until fifty years old shalt thou number them; all that enter in to perform the service, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.

24. 24

    זֹאתzotthisעֲבֹדַתa/vo/DATthe service ofמִשְׁפְּחֹתmish/pe/CHOTthe families ofהַגֵּרְשֻׁנִּיhag/Ger/shun/NIthe Gershonitesלַעֲבֹדla/a/VODto serveוּלְמַשָּׂא׃u/le/mas/SAand to carry

    This is the service of the families of the Gershonites, to serve, and for burdens:

25. 25

    וְנָשְׂאוּve/na/se/Uand they shall carryאֶת־יְרִיעֹתet-ye/ri/OTthe curtains ofהַמִּשְׁכָּןham/mish/KANthe tabernacleוְאֶת־אֹהֶלve/ET-O/heland the tent ofמוֹעֵדmo/EDmeetingמִכְסֵהוּmikh/SE/huits coveringוּמִכְסֵהu/mikh/SEand the covering ofהַתַּחַשׁhat/TA/chashbadgerאֲשֶׁר־עָלָיוa/SHER-a/LAYVthat is on itמִלְמָעְלָהmil/MA/laaboveוְאֶת־מָסַךְve/ET-ma/SAKHand the screen ofפֶּתַחPE/tachthe door ofאֹהֶלO/helthe tent ofמוֹעֵד׃mo/EDmeeting

    And they shall bear the curtains of the tabernacle, and the tabernacle of the congregation, his covering, and the covering of the badgers' skins that is above upon it, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,

26. 26

    וְאֵתve/ETandקַלְעֵיkal/Ethe hangings ofהֶחָצֵרhe/cha/TSERthe courtוְאֶת־מָסַךְve/ET-ma/SAKHand the screen ofפֶּתַחPE/tachthe door ofשַׁעַרSHA/arthe gate ofהֶחָצֵרhe/cha/TSERthe courtאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhich isעַל־הַמִּשְׁכָּןal-ham/mish/KANby the tabernacleוְעַל־הַמִּזְבֵּחַve/AL-ham/miz/BE/achand by the altarסָבִיבsa/VIVround aboutוְאֵתve/ETandמֵיתְרֵיהֶםme/te/re/HEMtheir cordsוְאֶת־כׇּל־כְּלֵיve/ET-kol-ke/LEand all the vessels ofעֲבֹדָתָםa/vo/da/TAMtheir serviceוְאֵתve/ETandכׇּל־אֲשֶׁרkol-a/SHERall thatיֵעָשֶׂהye/a/SEis to be doneלָהֶםla/HEMwith themוְעָבָדוּ׃ve/a/VA/duso shall they serve

    And the hangings of the court, and the hanging for the door of the gate of the court, which is by the tabernacle and by the altar round about, and their cords, and all the instruments of their service, and all that is made for them: so shall they serve.

    עַל־פִּיal-piat the command ofאַהֲרֹןA/ha/RONAaronוּבָנָיוu/va/NAYVand his sonsתִּהְיֶהtih/YEshall beכׇּל־עֲבֹדַתkol-a/vo/DATall the service ofבְּנֵיbe/NEthe sons ofהַגֵּרְשֻׁנִּיhag/Ger/shun/NIthe Gershonitesלְכׇל־מַשָּׂאָםle/KHOL-mas/sa/AMin all their burdensוּלְכֹלu/le/KHOLand in allעֲבֹדָתָםa/vo/da/TAMtheir serviceוּפְקַדְתֶּםu/fe/kad/TEMand you shall appointעֲלֵהֶםa/le/HEMto themבְּמִשְׁמֶרֶתbe/mish/ME/retin chargeאֵת־כׇּל־מַשָּׂאָם׃et-kol-mas/sa/AMall their burdens

    At the appointment of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burdens, and in all their service: and ye shall appoint unto them in charge all their burdens.

    זֹאתzotthisעֲבֹדַתa/vo/DATthe service ofמִשְׁפְּחֹתmish/pe/CHOTthe families ofבְּנֵיbe/NEthe sons ofהַגֵּרְשֻׁנִּיhag/Ger/shun/NIthe Gershonitesבְּאֹהֶלbe/O/helin the tent ofמוֹעֵדmo/EDmeetingוּמִשְׁמַרְתָּםu/mish/mar/TAMand their chargeבְּיַדbe/YADunder the hand ofאִיתָמָרI/ta/MARIthamarבֶּן־אַהֲרֹןben-A/ha/RONson of Aaronהַכֹּהֵן׃hak/ko/HENthe priest

    This is the service of the families of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation: and their charge shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.

29. 29

    בְּנֵיbe/NEthe sons ofמְרָרִיMe/ra/RIMerariלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָםle/mish/pe/cho/TAMby their familiesלְבֵית־אֲבֹתָםle/VET-a/vo/TAMby the house of their fathersתִּפְקֹדtif/KODyou shall numberאֹתָם׃o/TAMthem

    As for the sons of Merari, thou shalt number them after their families, by the house of their fathers;

30. 30

    וְזֹאתve/ZOTand thisמִשְׁמֶרֶתmish/ME/retthe charge ofמַשָּׂאָםmas/sa/AMtheir burdenלְכׇל־עֲבֹדָתָםle/KHOL-a/vo/da/TAMfor all their serviceבְּאֹהֶלbe/O/helin the tent ofמוֹעֵדmo/EDmeetingקַרְשֵׁיkar/SHEthe boards ofהַמִּשְׁכָּןham/mish/KANthe tabernacleוּבְרִיחָיוu/ve/ri/CHAYVand its barsוְעַמּוּדָיוve/am/mu/DAYVand its pillarsוַאֲדָנָיו׃va/a/da/NAYVand its sockets

    And this is the charge of their burden, according to all their service in the tabernacle of the congregation; the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars thereof, and sockets thereof,

    וְעַמּוּדֵיve/am/MU/deand the pillars ofהֶחָצֵרhe/cha/TSERthe courtסָבִיבsa/VIVround aboutוְאַדְנֵיהֶםve/ad/ne/HEMand their socketsוִיתֵדֹתָםvi/te/do/TAMand their pegsוּמֵיתְרֵיהֶםu/me/te/re/HEMand their cordsלְכׇל־כְּלֵיהֶםle/KHOL-ke/le/HEMwith all their instrumentsוּלְכֹלu/le/KHOLand with allעֲבֹדָתָםa/vo/da/TAMtheir serviceוּבְשֵׁמֹתu/ve/she/MOTand by nameתִּפְקְדוּtif/ke/DUyou shall appointאֶת־כְּלֵיet-ke/LEthe instruments ofמִשְׁמֶרֶתmish/ME/retthe charge ofמַשָּׂאָם׃mas/sa/AMtheir burden

    And the pillars of the court round about, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords, with all their instruments, and with all their service: and by name ye shall reckon the instruments of the charge of their burden.

33. 33

    זֹאתzotthisעֲבֹדַתa/vo/DATthe service ofמִשְׁפְּחֹתmish/pe/CHOTthe families ofבְּנֵיbe/NEthe sons ofמְרָרִיMe/ra/RIMerariלְכׇל־עֲבֹדָתָםle/KHOL-a/vo/da/TAMaccording to all their serviceבְּאֹהֶלbe/O/helin the tent ofמוֹעֵדmo/EDmeetingבְּיַדbe/YADunder the hand ofאִיתָמָרI/ta/MARIthamarבֶּן־אַהֲרֹןben-A/ha/RONson of Aaronהַכֹּהֵן׃hak/ko/HENthe priest

    This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari, according to all their service, in the tabernacle of the congregation, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.

34. 34

    וַיִּפְקֹדvay/yif/KODand numberedמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesוְאַהֲרֹןve/A/ha/RONand Aaronוּנְשִׂיאֵיu/ne/si/Eand the leaders ofהָעֵדָהha/e/DAthe congregationאֶת־בְּנֵיet-be/NEthe sons ofהַקְּהָתִיhak/Ke/ha/TIthe Kohathitesלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָםle/mish/pe/cho/TAMby their familiesוּלְבֵיתu/le/VETand by the house ofאֲבֹתָם׃a/vo/TAMtheir fathers

    And Moses and Aaron and the chief of the congregation numbered the sons of the Kohathites after their families, and after the house of their fathers,

35. 35

    מִבֶּןmib/BENfromשְׁלֹשִׁיםshe/lo/SHIMthirtyשָׁנָהsha/NAyears oldוָמַעְלָהva/MA/laand upwardוְעַדve/ADeven toבֶּן־חֲמִשִּׁיםben-cha/mish/SHIMfiftyשָׁנָהsha/NAyears oldכׇּל־הַבָּאkol-hab/BAall who enterלַצָּבָאlats/tsa/VAinto the serviceלַעֲבֹדָהla/a/vo/DAfor the workבְּאֹהֶלbe/O/helin the tent ofמוֹעֵד׃mo/EDmeeting

    From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation:

36. 36

    וַיִּהְיוּvay/yih/YUand they wereפְקֻדֵיהֶםfe/ku/de/HEMthose numbered of themלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָםle/mish/pe/cho/TAMby their familiesאַלְפַּיִםal/PA/yimtwo thousandשְׁבַעshe/VAsevenמֵאוֹתme/OThundredוַחֲמִשִּׁים׃va/cha/mish/SHIMand fifty

    And those that were numbered of them by their families were two thousand seven hundred and fifty.

37. 37

    אֵלֶּהEL/letheseפְקוּדֵיfe/ku/DEthose numbered ofמִשְׁפְּחֹתmish/pe/CHOTthe families ofהַקְּהָתִיhak/Ke/ha/TIthe Kohathitesכׇּל־הָעֹבֵדkol-ha/o/VEDall who servedבְּאֹהֶלbe/O/helin the tent ofמוֹעֵדmo/EDmeetingאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomפָּקַדpa/KADnumberedמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesוְאַהֲרֹןve/A/ha/RONand Aaronעַל־פִּיal-piaccording to the word ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDבְּיַד־מֹשֶׁה׃be/YAD-mo/SHEby the hand of Moses

    These were they that were numbered of the families of the Kohathites, all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, which Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.

38. 38

    וּפְקוּדֵיu/fe/ku/DEand those numbered ofבְּנֵיbe/NEthe sons ofגֵרְשׁוֹןGer/SHONGershonלְמִשְׁפְּחוֹתָםle/mish/pe/cho/TAMby their familiesוּלְבֵיתu/le/VETand by the house ofאֲבֹתָם׃a/vo/TAMtheir fathers

    And those that were numbered of the sons of Gershon, throughout their families, and by the house of their fathers,

39. 39

    וַיִּהְיוּvay/yih/YUand they wereפְּקֻדֵיהֶםpe/ku/de/HEMthose numbered of themלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָםle/mish/pe/cho/TAMby their familiesלְבֵיתle/VETby the house ofאֲבֹתָםa/vo/TAMtheir fathersאַלְפַּיִםal/PA/yimtwo thousandוְשֵׁשׁve/SHESHand sixמֵאוֹתme/OThundredוּשְׁלֹשִׁים׃u/she/lo/SHIMand thirty

    Even those that were numbered of them, throughout their families, by the house of their fathers, were two thousand and six hundred and thirty.

41. 41

    אֵלֶּהEL/letheseפְקוּדֵיfe/ku/DEthose numbered ofמִשְׁפְּחֹתmish/pe/CHOTthe families ofבְּנֵיbe/NEthe sons ofגֵרְשׁוֹןGer/SHONGershonכׇּל־הָעֹבֵדkol-ha/o/VEDall who servedבְּאֹהֶלbe/O/helin the tent ofמוֹעֵדmo/EDmeetingאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomפָּקַדpa/KADnumberedמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesוְאַהֲרֹןve/A/ha/RONand Aaronעַל־פִּיal-piaccording to the word ofיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    These are they that were numbered of the families of the sons of Gershon, of all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, whom Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the LORD.

42. 42

    וּפְקוּדֵיu/fe/ku/DEand those numbered ofמִשְׁפְּחֹתmish/pe/CHOTthe families ofבְּנֵיbe/NEthe sons ofמְרָרִיMe/ra/RIMerariלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָםle/mish/pe/cho/TAMby their familiesלְבֵיתle/VETby the house ofאֲבֹתָם׃a/vo/TAMtheir fathers

    And those that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, throughout their families, by the house of their fathers,

    Even those that were numbered of them after their families, were three thousand and two hundred.

45. 45

    These be those that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the word of the LORD by the hand of Moses.

46. 46

    כׇּל־הַפְּקֻדִיםkol-hap/pe/ku/DIMall those numberedאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomפָּקַדpa/KADnumberedמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesוְאַהֲרֹןve/A/ha/RONand Aaronוּנְשִׂיאֵיu/ne/si/Eand the leaders ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelאֶת־הַלְוִיִּםet-Hal/viy/YIMthe Levitesלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָםle/mish/pe/cho/TAMby their familiesוּלְבֵיתu/le/VETand by the house ofאֲבֹתָם׃a/vo/TAMtheir fathers

    All those that were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron and the chief of Israel numbered, after their families, and after the house of their fathers,

47. 47

    From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that came to do the service of the ministry, and the service of the burden in the tabernacle of the congregation,

48. 48

    וַיִּהְיוּvay/yih/YUand they wereפְּקֻדֵיהֶםpe/ku/de/HEMthose numbered of themשְׁמֹנַתshe/mo/NATeightאֲלָפִיםa/la/FIMthousandוַחֲמֵשׁva/cha/MESHand fiveמֵאוֹתme/OThundredוּשְׁמֹנִים׃u/she/mo/NIMand eighty

    Even those that were numbered of them, were eight thousand and five hundred and fourscore.

49. 49

    עַל־פִּיal-piaccording to the word ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDפָּקַדpa/KADhe numberedאוֹתָםo/TAMthemבְּיַד־מֹשֶׁהbe/YAD-mo/SHEby the hand of Mosesאִישׁishevery oneאִישׁisheachעַל־עֲבֹדָתוֹal-a/vo/da/TOaccording to his serviceוְעַל־מַשָּׂאוֹve/AL-mas/sa/Oand according to his burdenוּפְקֻדָיוu/fe/ku/DAYVand those numbered of himאֲשֶׁר־צִוָּהa/SHER-tsiv/VAas commandedיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶת־מֹשֶׁה׃et-Mo/SHEMoses

    According to the commandment of the LORD they were numbered by the hand of Moses, every one according to his service, and according to his burden: thus were they numbered of him, as the LORD commanded Moses.
