1. 1

   וְאֵלֶּהand theseתּוֹלְדֹתthe generations ofאַהֲרֹןAaronוּמֹשֶׁהand Mosesבְּיוֹםin the day ofדִּבֶּרspokeיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֶת־מֹשֶׁהwith Mosesבְּהַרon the mount ofסִינָי׃Sinai

   These also are the generations of Aaron and Moses in the day that the LORD spake with Moses in mount Sinai.

2. 2

   וְאֵלֶּהand theseשְׁמוֹתthe names ofבְּנֵי־אַהֲרֹןsons of Aaronהַבְּכֹרthe firstbornנָדָבNadabוַאֲבִיהוּאand AbihuאֶלְעָזָרEleazarוְאִיתָמָר׃and Ithamar

   And these are the names of the sons of Aaron; Nadab the firstborn, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

   אֵלֶּהtheseשְׁמוֹתthe names ofבְּנֵיthe sons ofאַהֲרֹןAaronהַכֹּהֲנִיםthe priestsהַמְּשֻׁחִיםthe anointedאֲשֶׁר־מִלֵּאwhom he consecratedיָדָםtheir handלְכַהֵן׃to serve as priests

   These are the names of the sons of Aaron, the priests which were anointed, whom he consecrated to minister in the priest's office.

   וַיָּמׇתand he diedנָדָבNadabוַאֲבִיהוּאand Abihuלִפְנֵיbeforeיְהֹוָהthe LORDבְּהַקְרִבָםwhen they brought nearאֵשׁfireזָרָהstrangeלִפְנֵיbeforeיְהֹוָהthe LORDבְּמִדְבַּרin the wilderness ofסִינַיSinaiוּבָנִיםand sonsלֹא־הָיוּnot wereלָהֶםto themוַיְכַהֵןand he served as priestאֶלְעָזָרEleazarוְאִיתָמָרand Ithamarעַל־פְּנֵיupon the face ofאַהֲרֹןAaronאֲבִיהֶם׃their father

   And Nadab and Abihu died before the LORD, when they offered strange fire before the LORD, in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no children: and Eleazar and Ithamar ministered in the priest's office in the sight of Aaron their father.

   וַיְדַבֵּרand spokeיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהto Mosesלֵּאמֹר׃saying

   And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

   הַקְרֵבbring nearאֶת־מַטֵּהthe tribe ofלֵוִיLeviוְהַעֲמַדְתָּand you will make standאֹתוֹhimלִפְנֵיbeforeאַהֲרֹןAaronהַכֹּהֵןthe priestוְשֵׁרְתוּand they shall serveאֹתוֹ׃him

   Bring the tribe of Levi near, and present them before Aaron the priest, that they may minister unto him.

7. 7

   וְשָׁמְרוּand they will keepאֶת־מִשְׁמַרְתּוֹhis chargeוְאֶת־מִשְׁמֶרֶתand the charge ofכׇּל־הָעֵדָהall the congregationלִפְנֵיbeforeאֹהֶלthe tent ofמוֹעֵדthe congregationלַעֲבֹדto serveאֶת־עֲבֹדַתthe service ofהַמִּשְׁכָּן׃the tabernacle

   And they shall keep his charge, and the charge of the whole congregation before the tabernacle of the congregation, to do the service of the tabernacle.

8. 8

   וְשָׁמְרוּand they will keepאֶת־כׇּל־כְּלֵיall vessels ofאֹהֶלthe tent ofמוֹעֵדthe congregationוְאֶת־מִשְׁמֶרֶתand the charge ofבְּנֵיthe sons ofיִשְׂרָאֵלIsraelלַעֲבֹדto serveאֶת־עֲבֹדַתthe service ofהַמִּשְׁכָּן׃the tabernacle

   And they shall keep all the instruments of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the children of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle.

9. 9

   וְנָתַתָּהand you shall giveאֶת־הַלְוִיִּםthe Levitesלְאַהֲרֹןto Aaronוּלְבָנָיוand for his sonsנְתוּנִםare assignedנְתוּנִםare assignedהֵמָּהtheyלוֹto himמֵאֵתfromבְּנֵיthe sons ofיִשְׂרָאֵל׃Israel

   And thou shalt give the Levites unto Aaron and to his sons: they are wholly given unto him out of the children of Israel.

10. 10

    וְאֶת־אַהֲרֹןand Aaronוְאֶת־בָּנָיוand his sonsתִּפְקֹדyou will appointוְשָׁמְרוּand they will keepאֶת־כְּהֻנָּתָםtheir priesthoodוְהַזָּרand the outsiderהַקָּרֵבthe approachingיוּמָת׃he shall be put to death

    And thou shalt appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall wait on their priest's office: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.

11. 11

    וַיְדַבֵּרand spokeיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהto Mosesלֵּאמֹר׃saying

    And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

12. 12

    וַאֲנִיand IהִנֵּהbeholdלָקַחְתִּיI have takenאֶת־הַלְוִיִּםthe Levitesמִתּוֹךְfrom the midst ofבְּנֵיthe sons ofיִשְׂרָאֵלIsraelתַּחַתunderכׇּל־בְּכוֹרall the firstborn ofפֶּטֶרthat opensרֶחֶםthe wombמִבְּנֵיthe sons ofיִשְׂרָאֵלIsraelוְהָיוּthen they shall beלִיto meהַלְוִיִּם׃the Levites

    And I, behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of all the firstborn that openeth the matrix among the children of Israel: therefore the Levites shall be mine;

13. 13

    כִּיbecauseלִיto meכׇּל־בְּכוֹרall the firstborn ofבְּיוֹםin the day ofהַכֹּתִיI struckכׇל־בְּכוֹרall the firstborn ofבְּאֶרֶץin the land ofמִצְרַיִםEgyptהִקְדַּשְׁתִּיI sanctifiedלִיto meכׇל־בְּכוֹרall the firstborn ofבְּיִשְׂרָאֵלIsraelמֵאָדָםfrom manעַד־בְּהֵמָהunto beastלִיto meיִהְיוּshall beאֲנִיIיְהֹוָה׃the LORD

    Because all the firstborn are mine; for on the day that I smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I hallowed unto me all the firstborn in Israel, both man and beast: mine shall they be: I am the LORD.

14. 14

    וַיְדַבֵּרand spokeיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהto Mosesבְּמִדְבַּרin the wilderness ofסִינַיSinaiלֵאמֹר׃saying

    And the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, saying,

15. 15

    פְּקֹדenrollאֶת־בְּנֵיthe sons ofלֵוִיLeviלְבֵיתto the house ofאֲבֹתָםtheir fathersלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָםto their familiesכׇּל־זָכָרall maleמִבֶּן־חֹדֶשׁfrom a son of a month ofוָמַעְלָהand upwardsתִּפְקְדֵם׃you will enroll them

    Number the children of Levi after the house of their fathers, by their families: every male from a month old and upward shalt thou number them.

16. 16

    וַיִּפְקֹדand he appointedאֹתָםthemמֹשֶׁהMosesעַל־פִּיaccording toיְהֹוָהthe LORDכַּאֲשֶׁרasצֻוָּה׃he was commanded

    And Moses numbered them according to the word of the LORD, as he was commanded.

17. 17

    וַיִּהְיוּ־אֵלֶּהand they were theseבְנֵי־לֵוִיsons of Leviבִּשְׁמֹתָםby their namesגֵּרְשׁוֹןGershonוּקְהָתand Kohathוּמְרָרִי׃and Merari

    And these were the sons of Levi by their names; Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari.

18. 18

    וְאֵלֶּהand theseשְׁמוֹתthe names ofבְּנֵי־גֵרְשׁוֹןsons of Gershonלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָםto their familiesלִבְנִיLibniוְשִׁמְעִי׃and Shimei

    And these are the names of the sons of Gershon by their families; Libni, and Shimei.

19. 19

    וּבְנֵיand sons ofקְהָתKohathלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָםto their familiesעַמְרָםAmramוְיִצְהָרand IzharחֶבְרוֹןHebronוְעֻזִּיאֵל׃and Uzziel

    And the sons of Kohath by their families; Amram, and Izehar, Hebron, and Uzziel.

20. 20

    וּבְנֵיand sons ofמְרָרִיMerariלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָםto their familiesמַחְלִיMahliוּמוּשִׁיand Mushiאֵלֶּהtheseהֵםtheyמִשְׁפְּחֹתthe families ofהַלֵּוִיthe Leviteלְבֵיתto the house ofאֲבֹתָם׃their fathers

    And the sons of Merari by their families; Mahli, and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to the house of their fathers.

21. 21

    לְגֵרְשׁוֹןto Gershonמִשְׁפַּחַתthe family ofהַלִּבְנִיthe Libniוּמִשְׁפַּחַתand the family ofהַשִּׁמְעִיthe Shimeiאֵלֶּהtheseהֵםtheyמִשְׁפְּחֹתthe families ofהַגֵּרְשֻׁנִּי׃the Gershonites

    Of Gershon was the family of the Libnites, and the family of the Shimites: these are the families of the Gershonites.

22. 22

    פְּקֻדֵיהֶםtheir enrolled menבְּמִסְפַּרin the number ofכׇּל־זָכָרall maleמִבֶּן־חֹדֶשׁfrom a son of a month ofוָמָעְלָהand upwardsפְּקֻדֵיהֶםtheir enrolled menשִׁבְעַתsevenאֲלָפִיםthousandוַחֲמֵשׁand fiveמֵאוֹת׃hundred

    Those that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, even those that were numbered of them were seven thousand and five hundred.

23. 23

    מִשְׁפְּחֹתthe families ofהַגֵּרְשֻׁנִּיthe Gershonitesאַחֲרֵיafterהַמִּשְׁכָּןthe tabernacleיַחֲנוּthey will encampיָמָּה׃westward

    The families of the Gershonites shall pitch behind the tabernacle westward.

24. 24

    וּנְשִׂיאand the leader ofבֵית־אָבthe house of the fatherלַגֵּרְשֻׁנִּיof the GershonitesאֶלְיָסָףEliasaphבֶּן־לָאֵל׃son of Lael

    And the chief of the house of the father of the Gershonites shall be Eliasaph the son of Lael.

25. 25

    וּמִשְׁמֶרֶתand the duty ofבְּנֵי־גֵרְשׁוֹןsons of Gershonבְּאֹהֶלin the tent ofמוֹעֵדthe congregationהַמִּשְׁכָּןthe tabernacleוְהָאֹהֶלand the tentמִכְסֵהוּits coveringוּמָסַךְand the curtain ofפֶּתַחthe door ofאֹהֶלthe tent ofמוֹעֵד׃the congregation

    And the charge of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation shall be the tabernacle, and the tent, the covering thereof, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,

26. 26

    וְקַלְעֵיand the hangings ofהֶחָצֵרthe courtyardוְאֶת־מָסַךְand the curtain ofפֶּתַחthe door ofהֶחָצֵרthe courtyardאֲשֶׁרwhichעַל־הַמִּשְׁכָּןupon the tabernacleוְעַל־הַמִּזְבֵּחַand upon the altarסָבִיבall aroundוְאֵתandמֵיתָרָיוits ropesלְכֹלfor allעֲבֹדָתוֹ׃its service

    And the hangings of the court, and the curtain for the door of the court, which is by the tabernacle, and by the altar round about, and the cords of it for all the service thereof.

27. 27

    וְלִקְהָתand to Kohathמִשְׁפַּחַתthe family ofהַעַמְרָמִיthe Amramitesוּמִשְׁפַּחַתand the family ofהַיִּצְהָרִיthe Izharitesוּמִשְׁפַּחַתand the family ofהַחֶבְרֹנִיthe Hebronitesוּמִשְׁפַּחַתand the family ofהָעׇזִּיאֵלִיthe Uzzieliteאֵלֶּהtheseהֵםtheyמִשְׁפְּחֹתthe families ofהַקְּהָתִי׃the Kohathites

    And of Kohath was the family of the Amramites, and the family of the Izeharites, and the family of the Hebronites, and the family of the Uzzielites: these are the families of the Kohathites.

28. 28

    בְּמִסְפַּרin the number ofכׇּל־זָכָרall maleמִבֶּן־חֹדֶשׁfrom a son of a month ofוָמָעְלָהand upwardsשְׁמֹנַתeightאֲלָפִיםthousandוְשֵׁשׁand sixמֵאוֹתhundredשֹׁמְרֵיthe keepers ofמִשְׁמֶרֶתthe charge ofהַקֹּדֶשׁ׃the sanctuary

    In the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were eight thousand and six hundred, keeping the charge of the sanctuary.

29. 29

    מִשְׁפְּחֹתthe families ofבְּנֵי־קְהָתsons of Kohathיַחֲנוּthey will encampעַלuponיֶרֶךְthe side ofהַמִּשְׁכָּןthe tabernacleתֵּימָנָה׃southward

    The families of the sons of Kohath shall pitch on the side of the tabernacle southward.

30. 30

    וּנְשִׂיאand the leader ofבֵית־אָבthe house of the fatherלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתof the families ofהַקְּהָתִיthe KohathitesאֱלִיצָפָןElizaphanבֶּן־עֻזִּיאֵל׃son of Uzziel

    And the chief of the house of the father of the families of the Kohathites shall be Elizaphan the son of Uzziel.

31. 31

    וּמִשְׁמַרְתָּםand their dutyהָאָרֹןthe arkוְהַשֻּׁלְחָןand the tableוְהַמְּנֹרָהand the lampstandוְהַמִּזְבְּחֹתand the altarsוּכְלֵיand the vessels ofהַקֹּדֶשׁthe sanctuaryאֲשֶׁרwhichיְשָׁרְתוּthey ministerבָּהֶםin themוְהַמָּסָךְand the curtainוְכֹלand allעֲבֹדָתוֹ׃its service

    And their charge shall be the ark, and the table, and the candlestick, and the altars, and the vessels of the sanctuary wherewith they minister, and the hanging, and all the service thereof.

32. 32

    וּנְשִׂיאand the leader ofנְשִׂיאֵיthe leaders ofהַלֵּוִיthe LeviteאֶלְעָזָרEleazarבֶּן־אַהֲרֹןson of Aaronהַכֹּהֵןthe priestפְּקֻדַּתthe oversight ofשֹׁמְרֵיthe keepers ofמִשְׁמֶרֶתthe charge ofהַקֹּדֶשׁ׃the sanctuary

    And Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be chief over the chief of the Levites, and have the oversight of them that keep the charge of the sanctuary.

33. 33

    לִמְרָרִיto Merariמִשְׁפַּחַתthe family ofהַמַּחְלִיthe Mahliוּמִשְׁפַּחַתand the family ofהַמּוּשִׁיthe Mushiאֵלֶּהtheseהֵםtheyמִשְׁפְּחֹתthe families ofמְרָרִי׃Merari

    Of Merari was the family of the Mahlites, and the family of the Mushites: these are the families of Merari.

34. 34

    וּפְקֻדֵיהֶםand their enrolled menבְּמִסְפַּרin the number ofכׇּל־זָכָרall maleמִבֶּן־חֹדֶשׁfrom a son of a month ofוָמָעְלָהand upwardsשֵׁשֶׁתsixאֲלָפִיםthousandוּמָאתָיִם׃and two hundred

    And those that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were six thousand and two hundred.

35. 35

    וּנְשִׂיאand the leader ofבֵית־אָבthe house of the fatherלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתof the families ofמְרָרִיMerariצוּרִיאֵלZurielבֶּן־אֲבִיחָיִלson of Abihailעַלuponיֶרֶךְthe side ofהַמִּשְׁכָּןthe tabernacleיַחֲנוּthey will encampצָפֹנָה׃northward

    And the chief of the house of the father of the families of Merari was Zuriel the son of Abihail: these shall pitch on the side of the tabernacle northward.

36. 36

    וּפְקֻדַּתand the oversight ofמִשְׁמֶרֶתthe charge ofבְּנֵיthe sons ofמְרָרִיMerariקַרְשֵׁיthe frames ofהַמִּשְׁכָּןthe tabernacleוּבְרִיחָיוand its barsוְעַמֻּדָיוand its pillarsוַאֲדָנָיוand its basesוְכׇל־כֵּלָיוand all its vesselsוְכֹלand allעֲבֹדָתוֹ׃its service

    And under the custody and charge of the sons of Merari shall be the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars thereof, and the sockets thereof, and all the vessels thereof, and all that serveth thereto,

37. 37

    וְעַמֻּדֵיand the pillars ofהֶחָצֵרthe courtyardסָבִיבall aroundוְאַדְנֵיהֶםand their basesוִיתֵדֹתָםand their tent pegsוּמֵיתְרֵיהֶם׃and their ropes

    And the pillars of the court round about, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords.

38. 38

    וְהַחֹנִיםand the ones who encampלִפְנֵיbeforeהַמִּשְׁכָּןthe tabernacleקֵדְמָהon the eastלִפְנֵיbeforeאֹהֶל־מוֹעֵדtent of the congregationמִזְרָחָהeastwardמֹשֶׁהMosesוְאַהֲרֹןand Aaronוּבָנָיוand his sonsשֹׁמְרִיםthe ones who keepמִשְׁמֶרֶתthe charge ofהַמִּקְדָּשׁthe sanctuaryלְמִשְׁמֶרֶתfor the charge ofבְּנֵיthe sons ofיִשְׂרָאֵלIsraelוְהַזָּרand the outsiderהַקָּרֵבthe approachingיוּמָת׃he shall be put to death

    But those that encamp before the tabernacle toward the east, even before the tabernacle of the congregation eastward, shall be Moses, and Aaron and his sons, keeping the charge of the sanctuary for the charge of the children of Israel; and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.

39. 39

    כׇּל־פְּקוּדֵיall those who were enrolled ofהַלְוִיִּםthe LevitesאֲשֶׁרwhichפָּקַדenrolledמֹשֶׁהMosesוְׄאַׄהֲׄרֹׄןׄand Aaronעַל־פִּיaccording toיְהֹוָהthe LORDלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָםto their familiesכׇּל־זָכָרall maleמִבֶּן־חֹדֶשׁfrom a son of a month ofוָמַעְלָהand upwardsשְׁנַיִםtwoוְעֶשְׂרִיםand twentyאָלֶף׃thousand

    All that were numbered of the Levites, which Moses and Aaron numbered at the commandment of the LORD, throughout their families, all the males from a month old and upward, were twenty and two thousand.

40. 40

    וַיֹּאמֶרand saidיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהto Mosesפְּקֹדenrollכׇּל־בְּכֹרall the firstborn ofזָכָרmaleלִבְנֵיunto the sons ofיִשְׂרָאֵלIsraelמִבֶּן־חֹדֶשׁfrom a son of a month ofוָמָעְלָהand upwardsוְשָׂאand takeאֵת־מִסְפַּרthe number ofשְׁמֹתָם׃their names

    And the LORD said unto Moses, Number all the firstborn of the males of the children of Israel from a month old and upward, and take the number of their names.

41. 41

    וְלָקַחְתָּand you will takeאֶת־הַלְוִיִּםthe Levitesלִיto meאֲנִיIיְהֹוָהthe LORDתַּחַתunderכׇּל־בְּכֹרall the firstborn ofבִּבְנֵיamong sons ofיִשְׂרָאֵלIsraelוְאֵתandבֶּהֱמַתthe livestock ofהַלְוִיִּםthe Levitesתַּחַתunderכׇּל־בְּכוֹרall the firstborn ofבְּבֶהֱמַתamong the livestock ofבְּנֵיthe sons ofיִשְׂרָאֵל׃Israel

    And thou shalt take the Levites for me (I am the LORD) instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel; and the cattle of the Levites instead of all the firstlings among the cattle of the children of Israel.

42. 42

    וַיִּפְקֹדand appointedמֹשֶׁהMosesכַּאֲשֶׁרasצִוָּהcommandedיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֹתוֹhimאֶת־כׇּל־בְּכוֹרall the firstborn ofבִּבְנֵיamong sons ofיִשְׂרָאֵל׃Israel

    And Moses numbered, as the LORD commanded him, all the firstborn among the children of Israel.

43. 43

    וַיְהִיand it came to passכׇל־בְּכוֹרall the firstborn ofזָכָרmaleבְּמִסְפַּרin the number ofשֵׁמֹתnamesמִבֶּן־חֹדֶשׁfrom a son of a month ofוָמַעְלָהand upwardsלִפְקֻדֵיהֶםof their enrolled menשְׁנַיִםtwoוְעֶשְׂרִיםand twentyאֶלֶףthousandשְׁלֹשָׁהthreeוְשִׁבְעִיםand seventyוּמָאתָיִם׃and two hundred

    And all the firstborn males by the number of names, from a month old and upward, of those that were numbered of them, were twenty and two thousand two hundred and threescore and thirteen.

44. 44

    וַיְדַבֵּרand spokeיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהto Mosesלֵּאמֹר׃saying

    And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

45. 45

    קַחtakeאֶת־הַלְוִיִּםthe Levitesתַּחַתunderכׇּל־בְּכוֹרall the firstborn ofבִּבְנֵיamong sons ofיִשְׂרָאֵלIsraelוְאֶת־בֶּהֱמַתand the livestock ofהַלְוִיִּםthe Levitesתַּחַתunderבְּהֶמְתָּםtheir animalsוְהָיוּ־לִיthen they shall be to meהַלְוִיִּםthe LevitesאֲנִיIיְהֹוָה׃the LORD

    Take the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel, and the cattle of the Levites instead of their cattle; and the Levites shall be mine: I am the LORD.

46. 46

    וְאֵתandפְּדוּיֵיthe redeemed ofהַשְּׁלֹשָׁהthe threeוְהַשִּׁבְעִיםand the seventyוְהַמָּאתָיִםand the two hundredהָעֹדְפִיםthose who are in excessעַל־הַלְוִיִּםupon the Levitesמִבְּכוֹרfrom the firstborn ofבְּנֵיthe sons ofיִשְׂרָאֵל׃Israel

    And for those that are to be redeemed of the two hundred and threescore and thirteen of the firstborn of the children of Israel, which are more than the Levites;

47. 47

    וְלָקַחְתָּand you will takeחֲמֵשֶׁתfiveחֲמֵשֶׁתfiveשְׁקָלִיםshekelsלַגֻּלְגֹּלֶתfor the headבְּשֶׁקֶלby the shekel ofהַקֹּדֶשׁthe sanctuaryתִּקָּחyou will takeעֶשְׂרִיםtwentyגֵּרָהgerahsהַשָּׁקֶל׃the shekel

    Thou shalt even take five shekels apiece by the poll, after the shekel of the sanctuary shalt thou take them: (the shekel is twenty gerahs:)

48. 48

    וְנָתַתָּהand you shall giveהַכֶּסֶףthe moneyלְאַהֲרֹןto Aaronוּלְבָנָיוand for his sonsפְּדוּיֵיthe redeemed ofהָעֹדְפִיםthose who are in excessבָּהֶם׃in them

    And thou shalt give the money, wherewith the odd number of them is to be redeemed, unto Aaron and to his sons.

49. 49

    וַיִּקַּחand tookמֹשֶׁהMosesאֵת־כֶּסֶףmoneyהַפִּדְיוֹםthe ransomמֵאֵתfromהָעֹדְפִיםthose who are in excessעַלuponפְּדוּיֵיthe redeemed ofהַלְוִיִּם׃the Levites

    And Moses took the redemption money of them that were over and above them that were redeemed by the Levites:

    מֵאֵתfromבְּכוֹרthe firstborn ofבְּנֵיthe sons ofיִשְׂרָאֵלIsraelלָקַחtookאֶת־הַכָּסֶףthe moneyחֲמִשָּׁהfiveוְשִׁשִּׁיםand sixtyוּשְׁלֹשׁand threeמֵאוֹתhundredוָאֶלֶףand one thousandבְּשֶׁקֶלby the shekel ofהַקֹּדֶשׁ׃the sanctuary

    Of the firstborn of the children of Israel took he the money; a thousand three hundred and threescore and five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary:

51. 51

    וַיִּתֵּןand gaveמֹשֶׁהMosesאֶת־כֶּסֶףmoneyהַפְּדֻיִםthe redeemedלְאַהֲרֹןto Aaronוּלְבָנָיוand for his sonsעַל־פִּיaccording toיְהֹוָהthe LORDכַּאֲשֶׁרasצִוָּהcommandedיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֶת־מֹשֶׁה׃Moses

    And Moses gave the money of them that were redeemed unto Aaron and to his sons, according to the word of the LORD, as the LORD commanded Moses.
