    And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

    אִישׁishevery manעַל־דִּגְלוֹal-dig/LOby his own standardבְאֹתֹתve/o/TOTwith the ensigns ofלְבֵיתle/VETby the house ofאֲבֹתָםa/vo/TAMtheir fathersיַחֲנוּya/cha/NUshall encampבְּנֵיbe/NEthe children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelמִנֶּגֶדmin/NE/gedat a distanceסָבִיבsa/VIVround aboutלְאֹהֶל־מוֹעֵדle/O/hel-mo/EDfrom the tent of meetingיַחֲנוּ׃ya/cha/NUshall encamp

    Every man of the children of Israel shall pitch by his own standard, with the ensign of their father's house: far off about the tabernacle of the congregation shall they pitch.

    וְהַחֹנִיםve/ha/cho/NIMand those who encampקֵדְמָהKED/maon the east sideמִזְרָחָהmiz/RA/chatoward the sunriseדֶּגֶלDE/gelthe standard ofמַחֲנֵהma/cha/NEthe camp ofיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahלְצִבְאֹתָםle/tsiv/o/TAMby their armiesוְנָשִׂיאve/na/SIand the leaderלִבְנֵיliv/NEof the children ofיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahנַחְשׁוֹןNach/SHONNahshonבֶּן־עַמִּינָדָב׃ben-Am/mi/na/DAVson of Amminadab

    And on the east side toward the rising of the sun shall they of the standard of the camp of Judah pitch throughout their armies: and Nahshon the son of Amminadab shall be captain of the children of Judah.

    וּצְבָאוֹu/tse/va/Oand his armyוּפְקֻדֵיהֶםu/fe/ku/de/HEMand those numbered of themאַרְבָּעָהar/ba/Afourוְשִׁבְעִיםve/shiv/IMand seventyאֶלֶףE/lefthousandוְשֵׁשׁve/SHESHand sixמֵאוֹת׃me/OThundred

    And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were threescore and fourteen thousand and six hundred.

    וְהַחֹנִיםve/ha/cho/NIMand those who encampעָלָיוa/LAYVnext to himמַטֵּהmat/TEthe tribe ofיִשָּׂשכָרYis/sash/KHARIssacharוְנָשִׂיאve/na/SIand the leaderלִבְנֵיliv/NEof the children ofיִשָּׂשכָרYis/sash/KHARIssacharנְתַנְאֵלNe/tan/ELNethaneelבֶּן־צוּעָר׃ben-Tsu/ARson of Zuar

    And those that do pitch next unto him shall be the tribe of Issachar: and Nethaneel the son of Zuar shall be captain of the children of Issachar.

    And his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were fifty and four thousand and four hundred.

    מַטֵּהmat/TEthe tribe ofזְבוּלֻןZe/vu/LUNZebulunוְנָשִׂיאve/na/SIand the leaderלִבְנֵיliv/NEof the children ofזְבוּלֻןZe/vu/LUNZebulunאֱלִיאָבE/li/AVEliabבֶּן־חֵלֹן׃ben-Che/LONson of Helon

    Then the tribe of Zebulun: and Eliab the son of Helon shall be captain of the children of Zebulun.

    And his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were fifty and seven thousand and four hundred.

    כׇּל־הַפְּקֻדִיםkol-hap/pe/ku/DIMall those numberedלְמַחֲנֵהle/ma/cha/NEin the camp ofיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahמְאַתme/ATone hundredאֶלֶףE/lefthousandוּשְׁמֹנִיםu/she/mo/NIMand eightyאֶלֶףE/lefthousandוְשֵׁשֶׁת־אֲלָפִיםve/SHE/shet-a/la/FIMand six thousandוְאַרְבַּע־מֵאוֹתve/ar/BA-me/OTand four hundredלְצִבְאֹתָםle/tsiv/o/TAMby their armiesרִאשֹׁנָהri/sho/NAfirstיִסָּעוּ׃yis/SA/uthey shall set out

    All that were numbered in the camp of Judah were an hundred thousand and fourscore thousand and six thousand and four hundred, throughout their armies. These shall first set forth.

    דֶּגֶלDE/gelthe standard ofמַחֲנֵהma/cha/NEthe camp ofרְאוּבֵןRe/u/VENReubenתֵּימָנָהte/MA/nasouthwardלְצִבְאֹתָםle/tsiv/o/TAMby their armiesוְנָשִׂיאve/na/SIand the leaderלִבְנֵיliv/NEof the children ofרְאוּבֵןRe/u/VENReubenאֱלִיצוּרE/li/TSURElizurבֶּן־שְׁדֵיאוּר׃ben-She/de/URson of Shedeur

    On the south side shall be the standard of the camp of Reuben according to their armies: and the captain of the children of Reuben shall be Elizur the son of Shedeur.

    And his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were forty and six thousand and five hundred.

    וְהַחוֹנִםve/ha/cho/NIMand those who encampעָלָיוa/LAYVnext to himמַטֵּהmat/TEthe tribe ofשִׁמְעוֹןShim/ONSimeonוְנָשִׂיאve/na/SIand the leaderלִבְנֵיliv/NEof the children ofשִׁמְעוֹןShim/ONSimeonשְׁלֻמִיאֵלShe/lu/mi/ELShelumielבֶּן־צוּרִישַׁדָּי׃ben-Tsu/ri/shad/DAYson of Zurishaddai

    And those which pitch by him shall be the tribe of Simeon: and the captain of the children of Simeon shall be Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.

    וּצְבָאוֹu/tse/va/Oand his armyוּפְקֻדֵיהֶםu/fe/ku/de/HEMand those numbered of themתִּשְׁעָהtish/Anineוַחֲמִשִּׁיםva/cha/mish/SHIMand fiftyאֶלֶףE/lefthousandוּשְׁלֹשׁu/she/LOSHand threeמֵאוֹת׃me/OThundred

    And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were fifty and nine thousand and three hundred.

    וּמַטֵּהu/mat/TEand the tribe ofגָּדGadGadוְנָשִׂיאve/na/SIand the leaderלִבְנֵיliv/NEof the children ofגָדGadGadאֶלְיָסָףEl/ya/SAFEliasaphבֶּן־רְעוּאֵל׃ben-Re/u/ELson of Reuel

    Then the tribe of Gad: and the captain of the sons of Gad shall be Eliasaph the son of Reuel.

    וּצְבָאוֹu/tse/va/Oand his armyוּפְקֻדֵיהֶםu/fe/ku/de/HEMand those numbered of themחֲמִשָּׁהcha/mish/SHAfiveוְאַרְבָּעִיםve/ar/ba/IMand fortyאֶלֶףE/lefthousandוְשֵׁשׁve/SHESHand sixמֵאוֹתme/OThundredוַחֲמִשִּׁים׃va/cha/mish/SHIMand fifty

    And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty and five thousand and six hundred and fifty.

    כׇּל־הַפְּקֻדִיםkol-hap/pe/ku/DIMall those numberedלְמַחֲנֵהle/ma/cha/NEin the camp ofרְאוּבֵןRe/u/VENReubenמְאַתme/ATone hundredאֶלֶףE/lefthousandוְאֶחָדve/e/CHADand oneוַחֲמִשִּׁיםva/cha/mish/SHIMand fiftyאֶלֶףE/lefthousandוְאַרְבַּע־מֵאוֹתve/ar/BA-me/OTand four hundredוַחֲמִשִּׁיםva/cha/mish/SHIMand fiftyלְצִבְאֹתָםle/tsiv/o/TAMby their armiesוּשְׁנִיִּםu/she/niy/YIMand secondיִסָּעוּ׃yis/SA/uthey shall set out

    All that were numbered in the camp of Reuben were an hundred thousand and fifty and one thousand and four hundred and fifty, throughout their armies. And they shall set forth in the second rank.

  17. 17

    וְנָסַעve/na/SAthen shall set outאֹהֶל־מוֹעֵדO/hel-mo/EDthe tent of meetingמַחֲנֵהma/cha/NEthe camp ofהַלְוִיִּםHal/viy/YIMthe Levitesבְּתוֹךְbe/TOKHin the midst ofהַמַּחֲנֹתham/ma/cha/NOTthe campsכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasיַחֲנוּya/cha/NUthey encampכֵּןkensoיִסָּעוּyis/SA/uthey shall set outאִישׁishevery manעַל־יָדוֹal-ya/DOin his placeלְדִגְלֵיהֶם׃le/dig/le/HEMby their standards

    Then the tabernacle of the congregation shall set forward with the camp of the Levites in the midst of the camp: as they encamp, so shall they set forward, every man in his place by their standards.

    דֶּגֶלDE/gelthe standard ofמַחֲנֵהma/cha/NEthe camp ofאֶפְרַיִםEf/RA/yimEphraimלְצִבְאֹתָםle/tsiv/o/TAMby their armiesיָמָּהYAM/mawestwardוְנָשִׂיאve/na/SIand the leaderלִבְנֵיliv/NEof the children ofאֶפְרַיִםEf/RA/yimEphraimאֱלִישָׁמָעE/li/sha/MAElishamaבֶּן־עַמִּיהוּד׃ben-Am/mi/HUDson of Ammihud

    On the west side shall be the standard of the camp of Ephraim according to their armies: and the captain of the sons of Ephraim shall be Elishama the son of Ammihud.

    וּצְבָאוֹu/tse/va/Oand his armyוּפְקֻדֵיהֶםu/fe/ku/de/HEMand those numbered of themאַרְבָּעִיםar/ba/IMfortyאֶלֶףE/lefthousandוַחֲמֵשׁva/cha/MESHand fiveמֵאוֹת׃me/OThundred

    And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty thousand and five hundred.

  20. 20

    וְעָלָיוve/a/LAYVand upon himמַטֵּהmat/TEthe tribe ofמְנַשֶּׁהMe/nash/SHEManassehוְנָשִׂיאve/na/SIand the leaderלִבְנֵיliv/NEof the children ofמְנַשֶּׁהMe/nash/SHEManassehגַּמְלִיאֵלGam/li/ELGamalielבֶּן־פְּדָהצוּר׃ben-Pe/dah/TSURson of Pedahzur

    And by him shall be the tribe of Manasseh: and the captain of the children of Manasseh shall be Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.

    וּצְבָאוֹu/tse/va/Oand his armyוּפְקֻדֵיהֶםu/fe/ku/de/HEMand those numbered of themשְׁנַיִםshe/NA/yimtwoוּשְׁלֹשִׁיםu/she/lo/SHIMand thirtyאֶלֶףE/lefthousandוּמָאתָיִם׃u/ma/TA/yimand two hundred

    And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were thirty and two thousand and two hundred.

  22. 22

    וּמַטֵּהu/mat/TEand the tribe ofבִּנְיָמִןBin/ya/MINBenjaminוְנָשִׂיאve/na/SIand the leaderלִבְנֵיliv/NEof the children ofבִנְיָמִןVin/ya/MINBenjaminאֲבִידָןA/vi/DANAbidanבֶּן־גִּדְעֹנִי׃ben-Gid/o/NIson of Gideoni

    Then the tribe of Benjamin: and the captain of the sons of Benjamin shall be Abidan the son of Gideoni.

    וּצְבָאוֹu/tse/va/Oand his armyוּפְקֻדֵיהֶםu/fe/ku/de/HEMand those numbered of themחֲמִשָּׁהcha/mish/SHAfiveוּשְׁלֹשִׁיםu/she/lo/SHIMand thirtyאֶלֶףE/lefthousandוְאַרְבַּעve/ar/BAand fourמֵאוֹת׃me/OThundred

    And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were thirty and five thousand and four hundred.

  24. 24

    כׇּל־הַפְּקֻדִיםkol-hap/pe/ku/DIMall those numberedלְמַחֲנֵהle/ma/cha/NEin the camp ofאֶפְרַיִםEf/RA/yimEphraimמְאַתme/ATone hundredאֶלֶףE/lefthousandוּשְׁמֹנַת־אֲלָפִיםu/she/mo/NAT-a/la/FIMand eight thousandוּמֵאָהu/me/Aand one hundredלְצִבְאֹתָםle/tsiv/o/TAMby their armiesוּשְׁלִשִׁיםu/she/li/SHIMand thirdיִסָּעוּ׃yis/SA/uthey shall set out

    All that were numbered of the camp of Ephraim were an hundred thousand and eight thousand and an hundred, throughout their armies. And they shall go forward in the third rank.

    דֶּגֶלDE/gelthe standard ofמַחֲנֵהma/cha/NEthe camp ofדָןDanDanצָפֹנָהtsa/FO/nanorthwardלְצִבְאֹתָםle/tsiv/o/TAMby their armiesוְנָשִׂיאve/na/SIand the leaderלִבְנֵיliv/NEof the children ofדָןDanDanאֲחִיעֶזֶרA/chi/E/zerAhiezerבֶּן־עַמִּישַׁדָּי׃ben-Am/mi/shad/DAYson of Ammishaddai

    The standard of the camp of Dan shall be on the north side by their armies: and the captain of the children of Dan shall be Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.

    וּצְבָאוֹu/tse/va/Oand his armyוּפְקֻדֵיהֶםu/fe/ku/de/HEMand those numbered of themשְׁנַיִםshe/NA/yimtwoוְשִׁשִּׁיםve/shish/SHIMand sixtyאֶלֶףE/lefthousandוּשְׁבַעu/she/VAand sevenמֵאוֹת׃me/OThundred

    And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were threescore and two thousand and seven hundred.

    וְהַחֹנִיםve/ha/cho/NIMand those who encampעָלָיוa/LAYVnext to himמַטֵּהmat/TEthe tribe ofאָשֵׁרA/SHERAsherוְנָשִׂיאve/na/SIand the leaderלִבְנֵיliv/NEof the children ofאָשֵׁרA/SHERAsherפַּגְעִיאֵלPag/i/ELPagielבֶּן־עׇכְרָן׃ben-Okh/RANson of Ocran

    And those that encamp by him shall be the tribe of Asher: and the captain of the children of Asher shall be Pagiel the son of Ocran.

    וּצְבָאוֹu/tse/va/Oand his armyוּפְקֻדֵיהֶםu/fe/ku/de/HEMand those numbered of themאֶחָדe/CHADoneוְאַרְבָּעִיםve/ar/ba/IMand fortyאֶלֶףE/lefthousandוַחֲמֵשׁva/cha/MESHand fiveמֵאוֹת׃me/OThundred

    And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty and one thousand and five hundred.

    וּמַטֵּהu/mat/TEand the tribe ofנַפְתָּלִיNaf/ta/LINaphtaliוְנָשִׂיאve/na/SIand the leaderלִבְנֵיliv/NEof the children ofנַפְתָּלִיNaf/ta/LINaphtaliאֲחִירַעA/chi/RAAhiraבֶּן־עֵינָן׃ben-E/NANson of Enan

    Then the tribe of Naphtali: and the captain of the children of Naphtali shall be Ahira the son of Enan.

    וּצְבָאוֹu/tse/va/Oand his armyוּפְקֻדֵיהֶםu/fe/ku/de/HEMand those numbered of themשְׁלֹשָׁהshe/lo/SHAthreeוַחֲמִשִּׁיםva/cha/mish/SHIMand fiftyאֶלֶףE/lefthousandוְאַרְבַּעve/ar/BAand fourמֵאוֹת׃me/OThundred

    And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were fifty and three thousand and four hundred.

  31. 31

    כׇּל־הַפְּקֻדִיםkol-hap/pe/ku/DIMall those numberedלְמַחֲנֵהle/ma/cha/NEin the camp ofדָןDanDanמְאַתme/ATone hundredאֶלֶףE/lefthousandוְשִׁבְעָהve/shiv/Aand sevenוַחֲמִשִּׁיםva/cha/mish/SHIMand fiftyאֶלֶףE/lefthousandוְשֵׁשׁve/SHESHand sixמֵאוֹתme/OThundredלָאַחֲרֹנָהla/a/cha/ro/NAlastיִסְעוּyis/Uthey shall set outלְדִגְלֵיהֶם׃le/dig/le/HEMby their standards

    All they that were numbered in the camp of Dan were an hundred thousand and fifty and seven thousand and six hundred. They shall go hindmost with their standards.

    אֵלֶּהEL/letheseפְּקוּדֵיpe/ku/DEthose numbered ofבְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵלve/NE-yis/ra/ELthe children of Israelלְבֵיתle/VETby the house ofאֲבֹתָםa/vo/TAMtheir fathersכׇּל־פְּקוּדֵיkol-pe/ku/DEall those numbered ofהַמַּחֲנֹתham/ma/cha/NOTthe campsלְצִבְאֹתָםle/tsiv/o/TAMby their armiesשֵׁשׁ־מֵאוֹתshesh-me/OTsix hundredאֶלֶףE/lefthousandוּשְׁלֹשֶׁתu/she/LO/shetand threeאֲלָפִיםa/la/FIMthousandוַחֲמֵשׁva/cha/MESHand fiveמֵאוֹתme/OThundredוַחֲמִשִּׁים׃va/cha/mish/SHIMand fifty

    These are those which were numbered of the children of Israel by the house of their fathers: all those that were numbered of the camps throughout their hosts were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.

    וְהַלְוִיִּםVe/hal/viy/YIMand the Levitesלֹאlonotהׇתְפָּקְדוּhot/pa/ke/DUwere numberedבְּתוֹךְbe/TOKHamongבְּנֵיbe/NEthe children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasצִוָּהtsiv/VAcommandedיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶת־מֹשֶׁה׃et-Mo/SHEMoses

    But the Levites were not numbered among the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses.

    וַיַּעֲשׂוּvay/ya/a/SUand they didבְּנֵיbe/NEthe children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelכְּכֹלke/KHOLaccording to allאֲשֶׁר־צִוָּהa/SHER-tsiv/VAthat commandedיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶת־מֹשֶׁהet-Mo/SHEMosesכֵּן־חָנוּken-cha/NUso they encampedלְדִגְלֵיהֶםle/dig/le/HEMby their standardsוְכֵןve/KHENand soנָסָעוּna/SA/uthey set outאִישׁishevery oneלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָיוle/mish/pe/cho/TAYVby his familiesעַל־בֵּיתal-betby the house ofאֲבֹתָיו׃a/vo/TAYVhis fathers

    And the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses: so they pitched by their standards, and so they set forward, every one after their families, according to the house of their fathers.
