    וַיְדַבֵּרand spokeיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהto Mosesוְאֶל־אַהֲרֹןand Aaronלֵאמֹר׃saying

    And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

    אִישׁeachעַל־דִּגְלוֹupon his standardבְאֹתֹתwith the signsלְבֵיתto the house ofאֲבֹתָםtheir fathersיַחֲנוּthey will encampבְּנֵיthe sons ofיִשְׂרָאֵלIsraelמִנֶּגֶדoppositeסָבִיבall aroundלְאֹהֶל־מוֹעֵדfor the tent of the congregationיַחֲנוּ׃they will encamp

    Every man of the children of Israel shall pitch by his own standard, with the ensign of their father's house: far off about the tabernacle of the congregation shall they pitch.

    וְהַחֹנִיםand the ones who encampקֵדְמָהon the eastמִזְרָחָהeastwardדֶּגֶלthe standard ofמַחֲנֵהthe camp ofיְהוּדָהJudahלְצִבְאֹתָםby their armiesוְנָשִׂיאand a leaderלִבְנֵיunto the sons ofיְהוּדָהJudahנַחְשׁוֹןNahshonבֶּן־עַמִּינָדָב׃son of Amminadab

    And on the east side toward the rising of the sun shall they of the standard of the camp of Judah pitch throughout their armies: and Nahshon the son of Amminadab shall be captain of the children of Judah.

    וּצְבָאוֹand his armyוּפְקֻדֵיהֶםand their enrolled menאַרְבָּעָהfourוְשִׁבְעִיםand seventyאֶלֶףthousandוְשֵׁשׁand sixמֵאוֹת׃hundred

    And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were threescore and fourteen thousand and six hundred.

    וְהַחֹנִיםand the ones who encampעָלָיוupon himמַטֵּהthe tribe ofיִשָּׂשכָרIssacharוְנָשִׂיאand a leaderלִבְנֵיunto the sons ofיִשָּׂשכָרIssacharנְתַנְאֵלNethaneelבֶּן־צוּעָר׃son of Zuar

    And those that do pitch next unto him shall be the tribe of Issachar: and Nethaneel the son of Zuar shall be captain of the children of Issachar.

    וּצְבָאוֹand his armyוּפְקֻדָיוand his enrolled menאַרְבָּעָהfourוַחֲמִשִּׁיםand fiftyאֶלֶףthousandוְאַרְבַּעand fourמֵאוֹת׃hundred

    And his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were fifty and four thousand and four hundred.

    מַטֵּהthe tribe ofזְבוּלֻןZebulunוְנָשִׂיאand a leaderלִבְנֵיunto the sons ofזְבוּלֻןZebulunאֱלִיאָבEliabבֶּן־חֵלֹן׃son of Helon

    Then the tribe of Zebulun: and Eliab the son of Helon shall be captain of the children of Zebulun.

    וּצְבָאוֹand his armyוּפְקֻדָיוand his enrolled menשִׁבְעָהsevenוַחֲמִשִּׁיםand fiftyאֶלֶףthousandוְאַרְבַּעand fourמֵאוֹת׃hundred

    And his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were fifty and seven thousand and four hundred.

    כׇּל־הַפְּקֻדִיםall the ones enrolledלְמַחֲנֵהof the camp ofיְהוּדָהJudahמְאַתone hundredאֶלֶףthousandוּשְׁמֹנִיםand eightyאֶלֶףthousandוְשֵׁשֶׁת־אֲלָפִיםand six thousandוְאַרְבַּע־מֵאוֹתand four hundredלְצִבְאֹתָםby their armiesרִאשֹׁנָהfirstיִסָּעוּ׃they will set out

    All that were numbered in the camp of Judah were an hundred thousand and fourscore thousand and six thousand and four hundred, throughout their armies. These shall first set forth.

    דֶּגֶלthe standard ofמַחֲנֵהthe camp ofרְאוּבֵןReubenתֵּימָנָהsouthwardלְצִבְאֹתָםby their armiesוְנָשִׂיאand a leaderלִבְנֵיunto the sons ofרְאוּבֵןReubenאֱלִיצוּרElizurבֶּן־שְׁדֵיאוּר׃son of Shedeur

    On the south side shall be the standard of the camp of Reuben according to their armies: and the captain of the children of Reuben shall be Elizur the son of Shedeur.

    וּצְבָאוֹand his armyוּפְקֻדָיוand his enrolled menשִׁשָּׁהsixוְאַרְבָּעִיםand fortyאֶלֶףthousandוַחֲמֵשׁand fiveמֵאוֹת׃hundred

    And his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were forty and six thousand and five hundred.

  12. 12

    וְהַחוֹנִםand the ones who encampעָלָיוupon himמַטֵּהthe tribe ofשִׁמְעוֹןSimeonוְנָשִׂיאand a leaderלִבְנֵיunto the sons ofשִׁמְעוֹןSimeonשְׁלֻמִיאֵלShelumielבֶּן־צוּרִישַׁדָּי׃son of Zurishaddai

    And those which pitch by him shall be the tribe of Simeon: and the captain of the children of Simeon shall be Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.

  13. 13

    וּצְבָאוֹand his armyוּפְקֻדֵיהֶםand their enrolled menתִּשְׁעָהnineוַחֲמִשִּׁיםand fiftyאֶלֶףthousandוּשְׁלֹשׁand threeמֵאוֹת׃hundred

    And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were fifty and nine thousand and three hundred.

  14. 14

    וּמַטֵּהand the tribe ofגָּדGadוְנָשִׂיאand a leaderלִבְנֵיunto the sons ofגָדGadאֶלְיָסָףEliasaphבֶּן־רְעוּאֵל׃son of Reuel

    Then the tribe of Gad: and the captain of the sons of Gad shall be Eliasaph the son of Reuel.

  15. 15

    וּצְבָאוֹand his armyוּפְקֻדֵיהֶםand their enrolled menחֲמִשָּׁהfiveוְאַרְבָּעִיםand fortyאֶלֶףthousandוְשֵׁשׁand sixמֵאוֹתhundredוַחֲמִשִּׁים׃and fifty

    And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty and five thousand and six hundred and fifty.

    כׇּל־הַפְּקֻדִיםall the ones enrolledלְמַחֲנֵהof the camp ofרְאוּבֵןReubenמְאַתone hundredאֶלֶףthousandוְאֶחָדand oneוַחֲמִשִּׁיםand fiftyאֶלֶףthousandוְאַרְבַּע־מֵאוֹתand four hundredוַחֲמִשִּׁיםand fiftyלְצִבְאֹתָםby their armiesוּשְׁנִיִּםand secondיִסָּעוּ׃they will set out

    All that were numbered in the camp of Reuben were an hundred thousand and fifty and one thousand and four hundred and fifty, throughout their armies. And they shall set forth in the second rank.

  17. 17

    וְנָסַעand it will set outאֹהֶל־מוֹעֵדtent of the congregationמַחֲנֵהthe camp ofהַלְוִיִּםthe Levitesבְּתוֹךְamongהַמַּחֲנֹתthe campsכַּאֲשֶׁרasיַחֲנוּthey will encampכֵּןthusיִסָּעוּthey will set outאִישׁeachעַל־יָדוֹin his placeלְדִגְלֵיהֶם׃to their standards

    Then the tabernacle of the congregation shall set forward with the camp of the Levites in the midst of the camp: as they encamp, so shall they set forward, every man in his place by their standards.

  18. 18

    דֶּגֶלthe standard ofמַחֲנֵהthe camp ofאֶפְרַיִםEphraimלְצִבְאֹתָםby their armiesיָמָּהwestwardוְנָשִׂיאand a leaderלִבְנֵיunto the sons ofאֶפְרַיִםEphraimאֱלִישָׁמָעElishamaבֶּן־עַמִּיהוּד׃son of Ammihud

    On the west side shall be the standard of the camp of Ephraim according to their armies: and the captain of the sons of Ephraim shall be Elishama the son of Ammihud.

  19. 19

    וּצְבָאוֹand his armyוּפְקֻדֵיהֶםand their enrolled menאַרְבָּעִיםfortyאֶלֶףthousandוַחֲמֵשׁand fiveמֵאוֹת׃hundred

    And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty thousand and five hundred.

  20. 20

    וְעָלָיוand upon himמַטֵּהthe tribe ofמְנַשֶּׁהManassehוְנָשִׂיאand a leaderלִבְנֵיunto the sons ofמְנַשֶּׁהManassehגַּמְלִיאֵלGamalielבֶּן־פְּדָהצוּר׃son of Pedahzur

    And by him shall be the tribe of Manasseh: and the captain of the children of Manasseh shall be Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.

  21. 21

    וּצְבָאוֹand his armyוּפְקֻדֵיהֶםand their enrolled menשְׁנַיִםtwoוּשְׁלֹשִׁיםand thirtyאֶלֶףthousandוּמָאתָיִם׃and two hundred

    And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were thirty and two thousand and two hundred.

  22. 22

    וּמַטֵּהand the tribe ofבִּנְיָמִןBenjaminוְנָשִׂיאand a leaderלִבְנֵיunto the sons ofבִנְיָמִןBenjaminאֲבִידָןAbidanבֶּן־גִּדְעֹנִי׃son of Gideoni

    Then the tribe of Benjamin: and the captain of the sons of Benjamin shall be Abidan the son of Gideoni.

  23. 23

    וּצְבָאוֹand his armyוּפְקֻדֵיהֶםand their enrolled menחֲמִשָּׁהfiveוּשְׁלֹשִׁיםand thirtyאֶלֶףthousandוְאַרְבַּעand fourמֵאוֹת׃hundred

    And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were thirty and five thousand and four hundred.

  24. 24

    כׇּל־הַפְּקֻדִיםall the ones enrolledלְמַחֲנֵהof the camp ofאֶפְרַיִםEphraimמְאַתone hundredאֶלֶףthousandוּשְׁמֹנַת־אֲלָפִיםand eight thousandוּמֵאָהand one hundredלְצִבְאֹתָםby their armiesוּשְׁלִשִׁיםand third decksיִסָּעוּ׃they will set out

    All that were numbered of the camp of Ephraim were an hundred thousand and eight thousand and an hundred, throughout their armies. And they shall go forward in the third rank.

  25. 25

    דֶּגֶלthe standard ofמַחֲנֵהthe camp ofדָןDanצָפֹנָהnorthwardלְצִבְאֹתָםby their armiesוְנָשִׂיאand a leaderלִבְנֵיunto the sons ofדָןDanאֲחִיעֶזֶרAhiezerבֶּן־עַמִּישַׁדָּי׃son of Ammishaddai

    The standard of the camp of Dan shall be on the north side by their armies: and the captain of the children of Dan shall be Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.

  26. 26

    וּצְבָאוֹand his armyוּפְקֻדֵיהֶםand their enrolled menשְׁנַיִםtwoוְשִׁשִּׁיםand sixtyאֶלֶףthousandוּשְׁבַעand sevenמֵאוֹת׃hundred

    And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were threescore and two thousand and seven hundred.

  27. 27

    וְהַחֹנִיםand the ones who encampעָלָיוupon himמַטֵּהthe tribe ofאָשֵׁרAsherוְנָשִׂיאand a leaderלִבְנֵיunto the sons ofאָשֵׁרAsherפַּגְעִיאֵלPagielבֶּן־עׇכְרָן׃son of Ocran

    And those that encamp by him shall be the tribe of Asher: and the captain of the children of Asher shall be Pagiel the son of Ocran.

  28. 28

    וּצְבָאוֹand his armyוּפְקֻדֵיהֶםand their enrolled menאֶחָדoneוְאַרְבָּעִיםand fortyאֶלֶףthousandוַחֲמֵשׁand fiveמֵאוֹת׃hundred

    And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty and one thousand and five hundred.

  29. 29

    וּמַטֵּהand the tribe ofנַפְתָּלִיNaphtaliוְנָשִׂיאand a leaderלִבְנֵיunto the sons ofנַפְתָּלִיNaphtaliאֲחִירַעAhiraבֶּן־עֵינָן׃son of Enan

    Then the tribe of Naphtali: and the captain of the children of Naphtali shall be Ahira the son of Enan.

  30. 30

    וּצְבָאוֹand his armyוּפְקֻדֵיהֶםand their enrolled menשְׁלֹשָׁהthreeוַחֲמִשִּׁיםand fiftyאֶלֶףthousandוְאַרְבַּעand fourמֵאוֹת׃hundred

    And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were fifty and three thousand and four hundred.

  31. 31

    כׇּל־הַפְּקֻדִיםall the ones enrolledלְמַחֲנֵהof the camp ofדָןDanמְאַתone hundredאֶלֶףthousandוְשִׁבְעָהand sevenוַחֲמִשִּׁיםand fiftyאֶלֶףthousandוְשֵׁשׁand sixמֵאוֹתhundredלָאַחֲרֹנָהto the lastיִסְעוּthey set outלְדִגְלֵיהֶם׃to their standards

    All they that were numbered in the camp of Dan were an hundred thousand and fifty and seven thousand and six hundred. They shall go hindmost with their standards.

  32. 32

    אֵלֶּהtheseפְּקוּדֵיthose who were enrolled ofבְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵלsons of Israelלְבֵיתto the house ofאֲבֹתָםtheir fathersכׇּל־פְּקוּדֵיall those who were enrolled ofהַמַּחֲנֹתthe campsלְצִבְאֹתָםby their armiesשֵׁשׁ־מֵאוֹתsix hundredאֶלֶףthousandוּשְׁלֹשֶׁתand the threeאֲלָפִיםthousandוַחֲמֵשׁand fiveמֵאוֹתhundredוַחֲמִשִּׁים׃and fifty

    These are those which were numbered of the children of Israel by the house of their fathers: all those that were numbered of the camps throughout their hosts were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.

  33. 33

    וְהַלְוִיִּםand the Levitesלֹאnotהׇתְפָּקְדוּthey were musteredבְּתוֹךְamongבְּנֵיthe sons ofיִשְׂרָאֵלIsraelכַּאֲשֶׁרasצִוָּהcommandedיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֶת־מֹשֶׁה׃Moses

    But the Levites were not numbered among the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses.

  34. 34

    וַיַּעֲשׂוּand they didבְּנֵיthe sons ofיִשְׂרָאֵלIsraelכְּכֹלaccording to allאֲשֶׁר־צִוָּהwhich commandedיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֶת־מֹשֶׁהMosesכֵּן־חָנוּthus they campedלְדִגְלֵיהֶםto their standardsוְכֵןand soנָסָעוּthey set outאִישׁeachלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָיוaccording to his familiesעַל־בֵּיתto the house ofאֲבֹתָיו׃his fathers

    And the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses: so they pitched by their standards, and so they set forward, every one after their families, according to the house of their fathers.
