    And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

    צַוtsavcommandאֶת־בְּנֵיet-be/NEthe children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelוְאָמַרְתָּve/a/mar/TAand sayאֲלֵהֶםa/le/HEMto themכִּי־אַתֶּםki-at/TEMwhen youבָּאִיםba/IMcomeאֶל־הָאָרֶץel-ha/A/retsinto the land ofכְּנָעַןKe/NA/anCanaanזֹאתzotthis isהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe landאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichתִּפֹּלtip/POLshall fallלָכֶםla/KHEMto youבְּנַחֲלָהbe/na/cha/LAfor an inheritanceאֶרֶץE/retsthe land ofכְּנַעַןKe/NA/anCanaanלִגְבֻלֹתֶיהָ׃lig/vu/lo/TE/hawith its borders

    Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of Canaan; (this is the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan with the coasts thereof:)

    וְהָיָהve/ha/YAthen shall beלָכֶםla/KHEMyourפְּאַת־נֶגֶבpe/AT-NE/gevthe south sideמִמִּדְבַּר־צִןmim/Mid/BAR-tsinfrom the wilderness of Zinעַל־יְדֵיal-ye/DEalongאֱדוֹםE/DOMEdomוְהָיָהve/ha/YAthen shall beלָכֶםla/KHEMyourגְּבוּלge/VULthe border ofנֶגֶבNE/gevthe southמִקְצֵהmik/TSEfrom the end ofיָם־הַמֶּלַחyam-Ham/ME/lachthe Salt Seaקֵדְמָה׃KED/maon the east

    Then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the coast of Edom, and your south border shall be the outmost coast of the salt sea eastward:

    וְנָסַבve/na/SAVand shall turnלָכֶםla/KHEMyourהַגְּבוּלhag/ge/VULborderמִנֶּגֶבmin/NE/gevfrom the southלְמַעֲלֵהle/ma/a/LEto the ascent ofעַקְרַבִּיםAk/rab/BIMAkrabbimוְעָבַרve/a/VARand pass onצִנָהTSI/nato Zin(והיה)vahayah[וְהָיוּ]ve/ha/YUand shall beתּוֹצְאֹתָיוtots/o/TAYVits goings outמִנֶּגֶבmin/NE/gevfrom the southלְקָדֵשׁle/Ka/DESHof Kadesh-בַּרְנֵעַbar/NE/abarneaוְיָצָאve/ya/TSAand shall go onחֲצַר־אַדָּרcha/TSAR-Ad/DARto Hazar-addarוְעָבַרve/a/VARand pass onעַצְמֹנָה׃Ats/MO/nato Azmon

    And your border shall turn from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass on to Zin: and the going forth thereof shall be from the south to Kadesh-barnea, and shall go on to Hazar-addar, and pass on to Azmon:

    וְנָסַבve/na/SAVand shall turnהַגְּבוּלhag/ge/VULthe borderמֵעַצְמוֹןme/Ats/MONfrom Azmonנַחְלָהnach/LAto the brook ofמִצְרָיִםMits/RA/yimEgyptוְהָיוּve/ha/YUand shall beתוֹצְאֹתָיוtots/o/TAYVits goings outהַיָּמָּה׃hay/YAM/maat the sea

    And the border shall fetch a compass from Azmon unto the river of Egypt, and the goings out of it shall be at the sea.

    וּגְבוּלu/ge/VULand borderיָםyamwestוְהָיָהve/ha/YAand shall beלָכֶםla/KHEMyourהַיָּםhay/YAMthe seaהַגָּדוֹלhag/ga/DOLgreatוּגְבוּלu/ge/VULand borderזֶה־יִהְיֶהze-yih/YEthis shall beלָכֶםla/KHEMyourגְּבוּלge/VULthe border ofיָם׃yamwest

    And as for the western border, ye shall even have the great sea for a border: this shall be your west border.

    וְזֶה־יִהְיֶהve/ZE-yih/YEand this shall beלָכֶםla/KHEMyourגְּבוּלge/VULthe border ofצָפוֹןtsa/FONnorthמִן־הַיָּםmin-hay/YAMfrom the seaהַגָּדֹלhag/ga/DOLgreatתְּתָאוּte/ta/Uyou shall mark outלָכֶםla/KHEMfor yourselvesהֹרHorto Horהָהָר׃ha/HARthe mountain

    And this shall be your north border: from the great sea ye shall point out for you mount Hor:

    מֵהֹרme/HORfrom Horהָהָרha/HARthe mountainתְּתָאוּte/ta/Uyou shall mark outלְבֹאle/VOto LeboחֲמָתCha/MATHamathוְהָיוּve/ha/YUand shall beתּוֹצְאֹתtots/OTthe goings out ofהַגְּבֻלhag/ge/VULthe borderצְדָדָה׃Tse/DA/dato Zedad

    From mount Hor ye shall point out your border unto the entrance of Hamath; and the goings forth of the border shall be to Zedad:

    וְיָצָאve/ya/TSAand shall go onהַגְּבֻלhag/ge/VULthe borderזִפְרֹנָהZif/RO/nato Ziphronוְהָיוּve/ha/YUand shall beתוֹצְאֹתָיוtots/o/TAYVits goings outחֲצַרCha/TSARat Hazar-עֵינָןe/NANenanזֶה־יִהְיֶהze-yih/YEthis shall beלָכֶםla/KHEMyourגְּבוּלge/VULthe border ofצָפוֹן׃tsa/FONnorth

    And the border shall go on to Ziphron, and the goings out of it shall be at Hazar-enan: this shall be your north border.

    וְהִתְאַוִּיתֶםve/hit/av/vi/TEMand you shall mark outלָכֶםla/KHEMyourלִגְבוּלlig/VULas the borderקֵדְמָהKED/maeastwardמֵחֲצַרme/Cha/TSARfrom Hazar-עֵינָןe/NANenanשְׁפָמָה׃She/FA/mato Shepham

    And ye shall point out your east border from Hazar-enan to Shepham:

    וְיָרַדve/ya/RADand go downהַגְּבֻלhag/ge/VULthe borderמִשְּׁפָםmish/She/FAMfrom Shephamהָרִבְלָהha/Riv/LAto Riblahמִקֶּדֶםmik/KE/demon the east sideלָעָיִןla/A/yinof Ainוְיָרַדve/ya/RADand go downהַגְּבֻלhag/ge/VULthe borderוּמָחָהu/ma/CHAand shall reachעַל־כֶּתֶףal-KE/tefto the side ofיָם־כִּנֶּרֶתyam-Kin/NE/retthe Sea of Chinnerethקֵדְמָה׃KED/maeastward

    And the coast shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall descend, and shall reach unto the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward:

    וְיָרַדve/ya/RADand go downהַגְּבוּלhag/ge/VULthe borderהַיַּרְדֵּנָהhay/Yar/DE/nato the Jordanוְהָיוּve/ha/YUand shall beתוֹצְאֹתָיוtots/o/TAYVits goings outיָםYamat the Sea ofהַמֶּלַחHam/ME/lachSaltזֹאתzotthisתִּהְיֶהtih/YEshall beלָכֶםla/KHEMyourהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe landלִגְבֻלֹתֶיהָlig/vu/lo/TE/hawith its bordersסָבִיב׃sa/VIVround about

    And the border shall go down to Jordan, and the goings out of it shall be at the salt sea: this shall be your land with the coasts thereof round about.

    וַיְצַוvay/TSAVand commandedמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesאֶת־בְּנֵיet-be/NEthe children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingזֹאתzotthis isהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe landאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichתִּתְנַחֲלוּtit/na/cha/LUyou shall inheritאֹתָהּo/TAitבְּגוֹרָלbe/go/RALby lotאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichצִוָּהtsiv/VAhas commandedיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDלָתֵתla/TETto giveלְתִשְׁעַתle/tish/ATto the nineהַמַּטּוֹתham/mat/TOTthe tribesוַחֲצִיva/cha/TSIand the half ofהַמַּטֶּה׃ham/mat/TEthe tribe

    And Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, This is the land which ye shall inherit by lot, which the LORD commanded to give unto the nine tribes, and to the half tribe:

    כִּיkiforלָקְחוּla/ke/CHUhave receivedמַטֵּהmat/TEthe tribe ofבְנֵיve/NEof the children ofהָראוּבֵנִיhaR/u/ve/NIthe Reubenitesלְבֵיתle/VETby the house ofאֲבֹתָםa/vo/TAMtheir fathersוּמַטֵּהu/mat/TEand the tribe ofבְנֵי־הַגָּדִיve/NE-hag/ga/DIof the children of the Gaditesלְבֵיתle/VETby the house ofאֲבֹתָםa/vo/TAMtheir fathersוַחֲצִיva/cha/TSIand half ofמַטֵּהmat/TEthe tribe ofמְנַשֶּׁהMe/nash/SHEManassehלָקְחוּla/ke/CHUhave receivedנַחֲלָתָם׃na/cha/la/TAMtheir inheritance

    For the tribe of the children of Reuben according to the house of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to the house of their fathers, have received their inheritance; and half the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance:

    שְׁנֵיshe/NEtwoהַמַּטּוֹתham/mat/TOTthe tribesוַחֲצִיva/cha/TSIand the half ofהַמַּטֶּהham/mat/TEthe tribeלָקְחוּla/ke/CHUhave receivedנַחֲלָתָםna/cha/la/TAMtheir inheritanceמֵעֵבֶרme/E/verbeyondלְיַרְדֵּןle/Yar/DENthe JordanיְרֵחוֹYe/re/CHOat JerichoקֵדְמָהKED/maeastwardמִזְרָחָה׃miz/RA/chatoward the sunrising

    The two tribes and the half tribe have received their inheritance on this side Jordan near Jericho eastward, toward the sunrising.

    וַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand spokeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהel-Mo/SHEto Mosesלֵּאמֹר׃le/MORsaying

    And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

  17. 17

    אֵלֶּהEL/lethese areשְׁמוֹתshe/MOTthe names ofהָאֲנָשִׁיםha/a/na/SHIMthe menאֲשֶׁר־יִנְחֲלוּa/SHER-yin/cha/LUwho shall divideלָכֶםla/KHEMto youאֶת־הָאָרֶץet-ha/A/retsthe landאֶלְעָזָרEl/a/ZAREleazarהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestוִיהוֹשֻׁעַVi/ho/SHU/aand Joshuaבִּן־נוּן׃bin-Nunson of Nun

    These are the names of the men which shall divide the land unto you: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun.

    וְנָשִׂיאve/na/SIand a leaderאֶחָדe/CHADoneנָשִׂיאna/SIa leaderאֶחָדe/CHADoneמִמַּטֶּהmim/mat/TEof every tribeתִּקְחוּtik/CHUyou shall takeלִנְחֹלlin/CHOLto divideאֶת־הָאָרֶץ׃et-ha/A/retsthe land

    And ye shall take one prince of every tribe, to divide the land by inheritance.

  19. 19

    וְאֵלֶּהve/EL/leand these areשְׁמוֹתshe/MOTthe names ofהָאֲנָשִׁיםha/a/na/SHIMthe menלְמַטֵּהle/mat/TEof the tribe ofיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahכָּלֵבKa/LEVCalebבֶּן־יְפֻנֶּה׃ben-Ye/fun/NEson of Jephunneh

    And the names of the men are these: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.

    וּלְמַטֵּהu/le/mat/TEand of the tribe ofבְּנֵיbe/NEthe children ofשִׁמְעוֹןShim/ONSimeonשְׁמוּאֵלShe/mu/ELShemuelבֶּן־עַמִּיהוּד׃ben-Am/mi/HUDson of Ammihud

    And of the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud.

    לְמַטֵּהle/mat/TEof the tribe ofבִנְיָמִןVin/ya/MINBenjaminאֱלִידָדE/li/DADElidadבֶּן־כִּסְלוֹן׃ben-Kis/LONson of Chislon

    Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon.

    וּלְמַטֵּהu/le/mat/TEand of the tribe ofבְנֵי־דָןve/NE-danthe children of Danנָשִׂיאna/SIa leaderבֻּקִּיBuk/KIBukkiבֶּן־יׇגְלִי׃ben-Yog/LIson of Jogli

    And the prince of the tribe of the children of Dan, Bukki the son of Jogli.

    לִבְנֵיliv/NEof the children ofיוֹסֵףYo/SEFJosephלְמַטֵּהle/mat/TEof the tribe ofבְנֵי־מְנַשֶּׁהve/NE-me/nash/SHEthe children of Manassehנָשִׂיאna/SIa leaderחַנִּיאֵלChan/ni/ELHannielבֶּן־אֵפֹד׃ben-E/FODson of Ephod

    The prince of the children of Joseph, for the tribe of the children of Manasseh, Hanniel the son of Ephod.

  24. 24

    וּלְמַטֵּהu/le/mat/TEand of the tribe ofבְנֵי־אֶפְרַיִםve/NE-ef/RA/yimthe children of Ephraimנָשִׂיאna/SIa leaderקְמוּאֵלKe/mu/ELKemuelבֶּן־שִׁפְטָן׃ben-Shif/TANson of Shiphtan

    And the prince of the tribe of the children of Ephraim, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan.

    וּלְמַטֵּהu/le/mat/TEand of the tribe ofבְנֵי־זְבוּלֻןve/NE-ze/vu/LUNthe children of Zebulunנָשִׂיאna/SIa leaderאֱלִיצָפָןE/li/tsa/FANElizaphanבֶּן־פַּרְנָךְ׃ben-Par/NAKHson of Parnach

    And the prince of the tribe of the children of Zebulun, Elizaphan the son of Parnach.

  26. 26

    וּלְמַטֵּהu/le/mat/TEand of the tribe ofבְנֵי־יִשָּׂשכָרve/NE-yis/sash/KHARthe children of Issacharנָשִׂיאna/SIa leaderפַּלְטִיאֵלPal/ti/ELPaltielבֶּן־עַזָּן׃ben-Az/ZANson of Azzan

    And the prince of the tribe of the children of Issachar, Paltiel the son of Azzan.

    וּלְמַטֵּהu/le/mat/TEand of the tribe ofבְנֵי־אָשֵׁרve/NE-a/SHERthe children of Asherנָשִׂיאna/SIa leaderאֲחִיהוּדA/chi/HUDAhihudבֶּן־שְׁלֹמִי׃ben-She/lo/MIson of Shelomi

    And the prince of the tribe of the children of Asher, Ahihud the son of Shelomi.

    וּלְמַטֵּהu/le/mat/TEand of the tribe ofבְנֵי־נַפְתָּלִיve/NE-naf/ta/LIthe children of Naphtaliנָשִׂיאna/SIa leaderפְּדַהְאֵלPe/dah/ELPedahelבֶּן־עַמִּיהוּד׃ben-Am/mi/HUDson of Ammihud

    And the prince of the tribe of the children of Naphtali, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.

    אֵלֶּהEL/lethese are theyאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomצִוָּהtsiv/VAcommandedיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDלְנַחֵלle/na/CHELto divide the inheritance toאֶת־בְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵלet-Be/NE-yis/ra/ELthe children of Israelבְּאֶרֶץbe/E/retsin the land ofכְּנָעַן׃Ke/NA/anCanaan

    These are they whom the LORD commanded to divide the inheritance unto the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.
